My first trip to Onomichi. I chose Hansei, highly rated for its outstanding cuisine. The kaiseki meals made with seasonal Setouchi ingredients were exceptional—each dish carefully prepared, and while true to classic kaiseki, they also incorporated new ingredients in a way that was both impressive and delicious. Even the pickles were finely scored with hidden knife work, showing thoughtful consideration for the guest. I was amazed by the high level of quality. The special sea bream chazuke (with sesame sauce) at breakfast was also superb.

As wonderful as the food was, what moved me most was the attentiveness and care shown by all the staff. From check-in to check-out, their hospitality was excellent. One member of staff in charge of dining even quietly placed an extra dish beside a photo of a family member who could not join us at breakfast and dinner—an incredibly touching gesture.

The “Travel Memory Book” was something that staff had written for the first time, but it became a truly lovely keepsake—the carefully drawn illustration and message conveyed their warmth so clearly.

With such wonderful staff and delicious food, Hansei is a place I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

The Hotel is close to the station, so it was easy to drop off my luggage and head out. Amenities were self-service, but there was a good selection of teas, which I appreciated. The desk was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable—overall a very satisfying Hotel. There is an I

Check-in and Dining As we were staying with a large group, they handled our additional requests smoothly. They thoughtfully arranged the seating for dinner, and it seemed the same consideration was carried over to breakfast. We were able to enjoy our meals in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything was delicious, and we were fully satisfied both visually and in terms of portion size. The Onsen was also wonderful. We received smart, unobtrusive, and attentive service throughout. It was a truly great stay. Thank you very much.

All staff were very kind and welcoming, always with a smile. Since it was extremely hot, I really appreciated that the air conditioning was running well when I entered the front desk area at check-in in the evening. There was a welcome drink, and while the Hotel grounds seemed small, it was perfect for us as we were only staying overnight after sightseeing—compact and comfortable. Recently I often choose places with a large public bath, but this time there was a semi-open-air bath, so I could relax without worrying about anything and recover from my fatigue. They had a full lineup of ReFa products; outlets, cables, and towels were provided in two separate areas; it was eco-friendly with no plastic bottles; the alternative cups were easy to use; and there were water dispensers on each floor. I didn’t use them, but it also seemed possible to do laundry and drying. There is a small rooftop area where you can see Sakurajima—I was truly impressed. Great value for money, clean and well maintained, with an excellent location—this is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The contrast between the meticulously designed interior and the simple rooms is also remarkable. Moreover, the dinner and breakfast are very delicious. There are no complaints, but to become a prestigious Ryokan, I hope the youthful and energetic staff can be further trained

The renovated interior was very beautiful. The Room's private open-air bath was a cypress bath, allowing us to relax while enjoying the scent of cypress. It was convenient as we could fill the bath ourselves and add more hot water as needed. The large public bath at Mizubana

Although I made separate reservations for each night, I was able to relax as the room remained the same thanks to their consideration. The Executive Room was spacious enough, and the entire floor was quiet and comfortable. The mist shower was excellent. I would definitely l

The lemon cake was also incredibly delicious. The evening free-flow session was not crowded, allowing us to enjoy an elegant time in the lounge, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed as well. For breakfast, as buffets are becoming challenging for elderly guests like us, having a

Breakfast was delicious in every aspect, and I finished everything on my plate. You can feel the effort of the chef. The staff were efficient, and the timing of serving dishes was perfect. It’s an accommodation I’d love to visit again! One small suggestion: it would be great i

I ended up checking in later than planned after seeing a play starring Rie Miyazawa, but they kindly called to confirm and welcomed me warmly despite my late arrival. Their advice on where to go for drinks in Akabane was spot-on, and with the Akabane festival the next day, it mad

Fuji from the Room was breathtaking. The Facility was well-equipped without being excessive; chilled tea available at the front desk, USB outlets by the bedside, an open-air bath in addition to the large public bath (with a sauna in the men's section), separate bathroom and toile

The hot spring in the large public bath was pleasant and helped relieve our fatigue. We were able to eat to our heart's content at the much-anticipated buffet dinner and breakfast. It was very delicious. Our dogs were also able to relax and seemed satisfied. We definitely want to

I stayed for one night during my trip to Osaka, and I was very grateful for the kind assistance with luggage storage both before check-out and after. The Facility was clean, the large public bath was excellent, and all the staff provided wonderful service. I would definitely like

This Hotel is very convenient in many ways. First, the location is excellent. For our family, who gets around without a rental car, it was perfect for going anywhere and doing anything. Also, the elevator does not require you to scan your Room key card, which actually made things more convenient. We stayed in a triple Room, and it was very spacious—there was plenty of space even with our suitcases open, so it was comfortable. We also appreciated having a large public bath. After marine activities, you want to shower as soon as you get back to the Hotel, but without a public bath you end up waiting your turn for the shower. In that sense, having a large public bath where everyone can bathe at once is really helpful. However, one thing: I think the public bath closes too early. Breakfast was tasty with no issues, and when we returned to the Hotel from dinner in heavy rain, the front desk kindly lent us bath towels—they were very helpful. We have visited Ishigaki Island several times and stayed at various Hotels, but we decided to make this Hotel our regular place to stay on Ishigaki Island.

I made a Reservation because my husband was going to Osaka. There were no unnecessary services, but everything we needed was provided. It’s close to the station and very convenient, clean, and the breakfast is delicious. Just as described—my husband came back satisfied. Last summ

The Room was very modern and spotless, with a wonderful view, and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The view from the bath was also excellent, and the spacious balcony was comfortable, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our time on Yakushima. Breakfast was delicious,

I stayed here while sightseeing at Mishima Taisha Shrine and Shuzenji. It was a very clean Hotel, and the front desk staff were extremely courteous. The Room refrigerator included complimentary bottled water and jelly. What impressed me most was breakfast. Local specialties like
