While preserving the traditional machiya atmosphere overall, the Accommodation has been thoughtfully renovated with a focus on key areas such as the bathroom and kitchen—spacious, spotless, and highly practical. It was a comfortable space with an excellent sense of balance. Unlike a typical Hotel stay, it offered an experience that blends into the neighborhood, and I felt as if I were spending my very first day after moving in. There are many lighting fixtures, and being able to fine-tune them to suit different situations was very convenient. The complimentary local drinks—such as roasted green tea and cider—were a delightful touch that added to the travel mood. Everything from the teapot and cups to the tray and even the hair dryer had a refined design that was pleasing to look at. It was a wonderful Room combining quality with functionality. Under normal circumstances this would unquestionably be a 5-star stay, but this time I am rating it 3 stars. The guests upstairs ran around for minutes at night and again the next morning like shuttle runs, even falling loudly at times. It was noise at a level that would feel excessive even in an ordinary Hotel—and all the more so in a machiya-style place like Komado. Even if our floors were reversed and I were staying upstairs, it would still have carried through. It was extremely difficult to endure. I wanted to raise this through staff, but neither the main phone line nor the emergency contact number could be reached around 7:30 p.m. I believe this Accommodation’s core appeal is its high-quality feel that blends seamlessly into everyday life in town, so it was deeply disappointing that such noise is fundamentally incompatible with that experience. That said, if you are not paired with guests like we had this time, it will surely be an outstanding stay without complaint. Being able to look out onto the courtyard was also fantastic; it is illuminated at night and offers scenery different from daytime—I never got tired of it!

We truly appreciated being able to bring our small dog in a private, whole-house rental. The Facility were excellent, and it was our first time experiencing an outdoor living area and an in-wall heating and cooling system throughout the entire building—both were wonderful. Our pe

I also received an opening commemorative gift, and I was glad to book through IKYU.com for the first day. The room was spacious enough and very comfortable. The large public bath was an artificial Onsen, but it was relaxing to soak in and warmed me up thoroughly. When I used it

This is my third stay at this hotel, and I absolutely love it. Nara is a perfect place to enjoy temples, shrines, and nature at a leisurely pace, and whenever I visit, I always choose to stay at Novotel Nara. I highly recommend the Executive Floor for its cozy Executive Lounge,

This was my second stay at the accommodation since my first visit before COVID. I was impressed last time, but the thoughtful hospitality and attention to detail are truly exceptional. Towels and bath towels are abundantly provided in both the room and the open-air bath, and

The room's atmosphere was lovely, and amenities were abundant. With L'Occitane and Sekkisei products as well as three types of ReFa hair dryers/irons available, plus a Balmuda kettle—it was all too perfect! It’s already decided that I’ll be coming back again for sure. The room ha

Our family of four stayed on the concierge floor, split between two Rooms. The location was extremely convenient, right above the station. The Rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with wonderful views, and we also felt at ease thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff. We also enjoyed the lounge services. I would recommend this Accommodation to friends and would love to stay again.

This was probably my third stay, the first in 7 or 8 years. It’s a wonderfully comfortable space with a rare tropical vibe for a Ryokan in Lake Kawaguchi, and a great blend of Japanese and Western Hotel-style design. The open-air Onsen bath feels almost like an infinity pool, wit

The staff's hospitality was excellent from the moment we headed to the shuttle bus stop on our way there, throughout our stay at the Hotel, and even during the shuttle ride back to Yaizu Station. We had a truly pleasant experience all around. We’re already talking about visiti

The entire Hotel has a sense of cleanliness, and I love the space. I also thought the flooring in the guest rooms was nice. The staff at the lobby were calm, friendly, and provided the highest level of hospitality, making my stay pleasant. There are many Hotels I want to stay at

The amenities, the view from the room, the variety of baths and stone saunas, the original and visually stunning meals bursting with flavor, attentive service, an impressive collection of books in their library area—everything exceeded expectations. Even their shop items showcase

The staff's attentiveness was outstanding, and their thoughtful care deeply moved me. I have stayed at various hotels (including luxury hotels in Toba), but this Miyako excelled in every aspect—its ambiance, cuisine, attentive staff, and the Gero bath were all remarkable. I w

The Room is very small, but the Hotel is well maintained and very clean. You can easily access the JR Yamanote Line and the Asakusa Line right after waking up. There are many places to eat near the Hotel, and there is also a Don Quijote store for convenient shopping. Highly recom

The guest room, amenities, bath, and bedding were all excellent. The TV offered various apps to enjoy, and the bedding was even better than that of Hotel Nikko in Shinsaibashi. With just a pedestrian bridge to cross to reach Kansai Airport's boarding area, convenience is top-notc

The refined Japanese-modern aesthetic, stripped of anything unnecessary, and the thoughtfully placed art throughout were truly captivating. Spending time in the open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water in the Room was pure bliss. I was also impressed by the high q

There were hearty options like omelets, fried shrimp, and curry, and above all, it was great to be able to consume a lot of different vegetables! Although I live in Osaka City, I would definitely stay again when I want to experience a travel mood nearby. I was very satisfied wit

We were very satisfied with the coffee and amenities, which made us really happy! There was even a massage chair in the room, making it a truly relaxing and special day. It was our first time in Yufuin, and choosing this accommodation turned out to be the best decision.

The meals were all delicious; we enjoyed plenty of Hamamatsu gyoza and eel. The roast beef was also exceptional! The kids' menu was adorable and tasty as well. All the staff members were very kind, making it a comfortable stay for both us and our dog. When my child fell ill

This is my favorite Accommodation on Awaji Island, so I have stayed here many times, though recently I had also been staying at Villa Rakuen and Yumesenkei. It was my first time back at Amaharu in a while, and everything was outstanding: the same attentive and refined hospitali
