Everything was very clean, and the futons were also spotless. The living room on the second floor was so comfortable that the kids didn’t want to leave. Adjusting the bath temperature is a bit tricky, but since it’s free-flowing Onsen water, that’s understandable. The bath was wonderful and very relaxing. One of our kids wasn’t interested in table tennis at first, but once they started playing, they couldn’t stop. Highly recommended for larger groups. Thank you very much for everything!

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. I’ve rented and stayed in several cottages before, but this place had the most complete set of amenities by far. In addition to plates and glasses, there was a full range of tableware such as chopsticks and spoons, plus convenient items like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and kitchen paper—things that are handy to have but a hassle to buy while traveling. They also provide firewood and charcoal for the BBQ and pizza oven, along with fire tongs and work gloves, so you can enjoy it even if you arrive empty-handed. (However, if you plan to BBQ, please bring your own outdoor-friendly tableware.) Although the cottage is in the mountains, the view from the front is open, and you can even see the Seto Inland Sea in the distance. You may encounter some insects such as stink bugs or bees. Insect sprays are provided, so please handle them accordingly. The bath is in a separate building behind the cottage. At night there are some dark spots along the way due to where the sensor lights are placed, so it’s a good idea to bring a light just in case. Overall, we had an extremely comfortable stay.

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and was able to relax very well. It is run by a kind, friendly couple. The Onsen called the lava bath was very pleasant, and there was also an open-air bath. You can also bathe in the morning. If you are coming by car, you can park in the parking lot of the nearby shrine (?). It is close to Ohiradai Station. It was a wonderful Accommodation where you could hear wild birds and the train whistle.

This was my first time using the service, and I was very pleased with the polite and attentive support. I appreciated receiving a phone call about the sauna event, which showed great attention to detail. I would love to use this service again!

This was our first trip to Hakuba with my daughter, and we were very satisfied with this accommodation. With only four rooms, each uniquely designed, we chose the "Condo" room this time. The room featured beautiful interior design, offering a luxurious and private experience. My daughter was delighted as well. For us, the enjoyment of a trip heavily depends on the accommodation's room and meals, and Kunugi exceeded all expectations with its hospitality and cleanliness. One of the highlights was the bath facilities—three options including indoor baths and an outdoor Asian-style bath that required a reservation. The outdoor bath had a tropical resort vibe where we could relax while enjoying views of the garden. It was so pleasant that I ended up using it twice—once in the evening and again in the morning. Dinner consisted of a full-course menu featuring fish and meat dishes that were casual yet delicious. The French toast served at breakfast was also excellent, which made my daughter very happy once again. Having stayed at many hotels or ryokans before, I believe accommodations like Kunugi—with its originality and exceptional hospitality—are rare to find. While winter is likely their peak season due to increased demand, visiting during off-season periods like now through autumn offers more reasonable rates. Summer in Hakuba feels like experiencing Japan’s traditional landscapes—a truly unique region worth visiting. We will definitely return for another stay! The staff provided very kind service, and the Room was the closest to the front desk. Despite arriving early, we were allowed to check in, and since we brought our own food and drinks, we could enjoy a barbecue from an early time. The sunset view from the oceanfront was breathtaking. The Room was also cute and stylish, making it a very satisfying stay.

The room was new, clean, and satisfactory. The front desk is unmanned. Check-in is done via remote communication, requiring identity verification and all guests to show their faces. This process was convenient yet somewhat inconvenient at the same time.

My family visiting from overseas stayed for two nights. When they arrived in Japan, it was unfortunately raining and they were tired from jet lag, so they didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy the BBQ, outdoor bath, or sauna, but they seemed to have a comfortable stay. They took walks around the neighborhood in the morning and evening and even walked to Taito Beach, and said they were able to relax. If we have another chance, I’d like them to stay longer and enjoy everything more fully.

I made a Reservation the day before the rocket launch. It was my first time glamping, and I was impressed by how clean the Facility was! The sky was full of stars, and we were able to see many shooting stars in a short time. The toilet and bath were separate from other guests, which made them easy to use. The rocket launch viewing spot and supermarkets are nearby, so it’s very convenient. The owner was also kind and easy to talk to. I’d love to stay again.

We stayed here last year and had a wonderful experience, so we chose it again this year. The Room is spacious, clean, and well designed for comfort and convenience. We truly appreciate the staff’s warm and thoughtful service. This is a Hotel we would love to stay at again.

Since it was a weekday and no one else was using the facility, my dog could play off-leash and seemed to enjoy it. The fresh greenery and night views were beautiful. I would love to visit again during cherry blossom season or autumn foliage.

The Room and bathroom were thoroughly cleaned and very clean. We had a comfortable stay. The souvenir curry was also delicious.

Due to work, I needed to travel early the next morning, so I made a same-day Reservation. I usually stay near Omori Station because I can relax in the large public bath and it’s close to my office. Since there were no vacancies, this was my first stay here. It’s a bit of a walk from the North Exit, but the Room has a practical layout. It’s somewhat small, but I liked that there is almost no step up to the washroom—it’s a subtle plus. I’ll stay again when the price is reasonable!

Opened in March this year, this accommodation has been operating for just half a year. I discovered it through a friend's SNS post and decided to visit. Located on Oshima Island, part of the sacred route from Munakata Taisha's main shrine (Hetsu-miya: Munakata-san) to Okinoshima via Nakatsu-miya, the island is steeped in history as a World Heritage Site. On this day, we visited Hetsu-miya and then drove to Kami-no-Misaki Port in Munakata City to take the ferry "Oshima" to Oshima Port. We stayed as a couple in a glamping tent designed for four people. The dinner was so abundant that we couldn't finish it all—there was even wild boar meat served as an extra treat! We felt almost guilty about not being able to eat everything. Perched on top of a hill with stunning ocean views below... To the left, you can see Fukuoka City's artificial Island City "Kashii-Terihata" with its luxury tower apartments. Although it was cloudy that day, on clear days you might be able to spot PayPay Dome or Fukuoka Tower (we could faintly see Hilton Hotel). Within the facility, guests are transported by cart after parking their cars and can enjoy various options like buggies. This place feels so luxurious and special that I wondered if it's even appropriate to stay here on such sacred ground—it’s truly breathtaking. Near the ferry port is "Kansu Beach," which features a torii gate called "Yume no Sayojima" set in the sea; during low tide, you can walk across to this small island—a highlight of Oshima itself. While there are areas affected by landslides due to heavy rainstorms recently, I hope they recover soon. Honestly speaking, it's not very famous yet at this moment—but once it becomes well-known, reservations might become impossible! It’s such an incredible hidden gem that I almost wish it remains undiscovered by too many people. I will definitely return again someday. Thank you so much!!
