Mid-October 2024 2 nights and 3 days for a couple The building was a renovated traditional house. There were luxurious rooms, and although there were parts we didn't actually use, it was spacious enough to be comfortable. The air conditioning, ventilation, and floor heating were all fully equipped, making it comfortable. The onsen bathroom was very tastefully designed, with windows that could be fully opened, creating a semi-open-air feel, which was pleasant given the season. A rental villa with an onsen in Hakuba is quite rare, isn't it? The amenities, including bathrobes and towels, were well-prepared, and we were very satisfied. There was also a washer-dryer, which I think is great for long stays. There seemed to be a drying room for ski and snowboard gear, making it perfect for skiing at Happo-One. The only downside was the lack of a view, so it would be even better if there were a wooden deck or something to allow access to a shaded terrace during the good seasons, with some maintenance of trees and plants. One major disappointment was that during our stay, before checkout, several men entered the facility using an electronic key. They were not acquaintances, of course. This is something that would never happen at a hotel. Our vehicle was parked in the facility's designated parking lot on the premises, and it seemed they parked right next to it (a domestic SUV with Nagano plates), so it should have been clear that there were guests in the building. The person who unlocked the door seemed to be a real estate-related agent, as they started showing the building while talking. We were preparing to check out, so we were presentable, but we were very surprised when strangers suddenly entered our private area. In a hurry, I explained that we were still staying and about to proceed with the electronic checkout, and asked them to leave. However, in this dangerous world, I became very anxious about how the facility manager was handling the electronic key management. During our stay, we went out several times, so if anything happened, like theft of personal belongings or facility equipment, or damage, it would be a problem. After adhering to the checkout time and completing the electronic checkout, just as we were leaving the parking lot, a maintenance person arrived in a small truck. They might have been the cleaning staff. I still don't know who the person who entered during the time was, and honestly, it's unsettling. We really liked the facility, but it left us with security concerns.

We stayed with a group of 8, including my parents and my sister's family. It was our first time staying at a Vacation Rental for just one night, with check-in at 4 PM and check-out at 10 AM, so we were initially concerned about the short stay. However, since there were no guests before or after us this time, we were able to enjoy a free early check-in at 3 PM and a paid late check-out at 12 PM. This allowed us to relax more than expected, resulting in high satisfaction. Additionally, we appreciated being allowed to store food items (fresh ingredients and beverages) brought from home in the Facility's refrigerator after noon. This made dinner preparation smoother and more convenient. For dinner for my parents, I wanted to prepare sashimi and ordered it from Yamatsune Fresh Fish Shop near Ito Station based on online research. In hindsight, local sashimi or spiny lobster available at Maxvalue near Izukogen Station would have sufficed as well. During a walk near the Facility, I discovered Kanemitsu Suisan nearby; according to online reviews, it seems excellent for sashimi reservations when staying here. Regarding the Facility itself: unfortunately due to heavy rain during our stay, having the bath and sauna located downstairs was slightly challenging for my elderly parents. However, for most people this detached setup could be seen as an advantage—it was very nice overall! One suggestion would be adding waterproof speakers in the bath area for music playback. The dishes, glasses, living room furniture (table/chairs), lighting fixtures, plants—all items within the Facility—were stylishly curated without anything disappointing us; we had an enjoyable time throughout our stay. For those considering similar concerns: please note that this Accommodation operates as private lodging (minpaku). You may not expect much direct communication with staff post-Reservation completion—phone calls typically connect you only via automated voicemail where messages can be left but may not receive callbacks promptly; email correspondence became possible only days prior instead of earlier engagement like other IKYU.com Vacation Rentals we've experienced before which caused some initial unease despite FAQs covering most queries adequately on their website already. Ultimately though—the quality offered by this Accommodation is exceptional! Approaching your stay understanding these aspects should ensure an enjoyable experience overall!

We stayed as a group of 10 across three families and enjoyed a comfortable time with the spacious living-dining area, rooms for the children, and separate family rooms. The fact that there were three showers and toilets was great for ensuring privacy! For meals, we considered hiring a private chef but decided to cook together while enjoying drinks at our own pace. It would be nice if the private chef option included Western cuisine as well. During our stay, we visited local supermarkets such as Delicia, Big (AEON), and A-Coop. Among them, A-Coop is recommended for its variety of vegetables and selection of prepared foods. For breakfast or snacks, we recommend visiting the bakery just one minute away on foot (Sakurara Confectionery). Their rice flour donuts were chewy and delicious! Our favorite spot in the accommodation was the dining table (180×180 cm), which had an excellent square shape and size for group meals! Even with many people seated around it, conversations felt comfortably close yet not crowded. Additionally, the BANG & OLUFSEN speakers were very stylish with excellent sound quality! We highly recommend using them in stereo mode. Please note that connecting via Bluetooth may only link to one speaker; it seems necessary to select AirPlay for proper stereo connection. While some parts of the manual could be improved regarding these features, we appreciated how helpful JADE Group staff were over phone calls and on-site support when needed! Although vacation rentals can sometimes raise concerns about support services, everything from pre-arrival phone assistance to post-arrival hospitality was excellent. We had a truly pleasant stay. We look forward to staying at another property from this group in the future!

This was my first time staying here. The Accommodation was very clean, and when you step outside you can hear the gentle sound of the river—surrounded by nature and truly refreshing. It’s a bit far from central Kyoto, but it’s an excellent Accommodation for a trip focused on relaxation and recharging. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance!

I stayed during Golden Week. Even though it’s in a busy downtown area, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. The Room was clean, and there were amenities and services such as welcome coffee, which I thought were great. The instant onion soup next to the welcome coffee was especially delicious. One disappointing point was that the female staff member at the front desk spoke quickly, so her explanation was hard to understand.

This time, I chose this hotel to relax for my fan activities. We stayed as a pair, and the accommodation was close to the event venue with a nice atmosphere, allowing us to spend our time quietly and comfortably. I would like to use it again when there is an event in Shinsaibashi. Since it was the end of the year, there were traditional New Year decorations at the hotel entrance.

I use this place for business trips to Tokyo. Prices vary by season, but if you book early it can be very affordable. It’s always clean and well maintained, so I can sleep comfortably with peace of mind.

Because it is a new Hotel, everything was spotless. The breakfast was delicious, and we also enjoyed drinks during happy hour. There was a sauna in the bath area, and after bathing there was ice cream—everything was thoughtfully provided. We were absolutely delighted with this wonderful Hotel. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us. Everyone is saying, “Next time, it has to be this Hotel again.”

I stayed here a few times several years ago, but recently I thought the property was no longer listed on the site. When I had a chance to visit Osaka and checked the site again, I found photos of a building I recognized, although it was listed under a different name, so I made a Reservation right away. The front desk service and the in-room amenities—towels and more—were far better than before. If I have another opportunity to visit Osaka, I would be happy to stay here again.

We also appreciated having a private dining space where our family could relax and enjoy our meal together. Although we didn't use the bath facilities, everything was well-maintained despite being an older property, making for a very comfortable stay. This has become an accommoda

The weather was unstable, so it was helpful that it was close to Kyoto Station. My child got tired during the journey, and we arrived at the hotel early, but I am grateful for the courteous service, such as allowing us to play in the lobby's kids' space until check-in and guiding us to the family bath, even though we were staying without meals. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity to travel to Kyoto.

The facility is not new, but the 8-tatami mat room comes fully equipped with a refrigerator-freezer, microwave, sink, dishes, pots and pans, an electric stove, and a rice cooker—everything needed for self-catering. The bathroom only has a shower; however, towels, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided so you don't need to bring your own. The stairs up to the third floor are narrow but staying for three people with no meals included at 12,000 yen was very affordable. Being in the town center means there are nearby restaurants and izakayas as well as an A-Coop supermarket where you can buy ingredients for cooking. We stayed here during a fishing trip and were able to reserve bento boxes delivered at 4 AM—very convenient for early morning fishing or hiking trips. It was such a great accommodation that I would like to use it again. When the ferry was canceled due to bad weather and we extended our stay overnight (multiple night stay), they kindly offered us discounted rates for consecutive nights.

I was worried about bears, but the manager explained that because Suganuma Campground is at a high elevation and too cold, acorns and other bear food do not grow there. As a result, it cannot become a feeding area for bears, so they generally do not come to the campground or its surroundings since there is nothing for them to eat. Hearing that reassured me and I was able to stay with peace of mind.

The meals are exceptional. While buffets are common, every dish here is carefully prepared with great attention and tastes delicious. The Room is not only clean but also spacious, providing a very relaxing atmosphere. It's unfortunate that my business trips to this area are occasional, but I would love to stay here again if given the chance.

The cottage was very comfortable with air conditioning and floor heating, making it easy to relax. We brought only the essentials and enjoyed a peaceful time surrounded by nature. The sound of the river in the morning was right nearby, and combined with great weather, it was a perfect location. The shower room and toilet were impeccably clean, which was wonderful. Additionally, the staff's service was very polite and kind, allowing us to stay with peace of mind. Thank you very much!
