The room, large public bath, meals, and service were all satisfying. I stayed in a room with a private bath, which was clean and had a great view, making me feel like I didn’t even need to visit the large public bath. Of course, the large public bath was also excellent. I chose the dinner set plan, and everything was delicious. Personally, as someone who doesn’t drink much alcohol, I really appreciated having a pitcher of cold water placed at my table. The service was minimal yet attentive; staff checked in at just the right moments during meals, which made for a pleasant experience. Additionally, they informed me of the approximate sunrise time so I could enjoy a beautiful sunrise from my room.

They advertise that you can check in in one second by scanning your membership information on your smartphone, but at every APA I’ve stayed at, it always shows an error the first time. It’s also routine for a staff member to come over and start by asking to see my membership card

There was also a coffee maker, allowing for a luxurious time. The bathroom also had large windows, making a morning bath wonderful. I think it's perfect for those who want to spend a relaxing time in a calm space. A Multiple Night Stay to spend a lazy day might also be nic

On top of that, on weekdays only, they offered dinner (curry or beef bowl) plus all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages—excellent service. I was also able to relax and unwind in the large public bath. This is an Accommodation I’d like to use as a base for sightseeing in Fukushima.

I stayed for one night because a family member was being discharged early in the morning. It’s very convenient since it’s close to both the station and the hospital. I booked a non-smoking Room, and I wasn’t thrilled to learn there was a smoking area on the floor, but thankfully there was no cigarette smell. The unit bath was fairly spacious, and I also liked that the sink area was separate. However, due to my misunderstanding, I thought Kikonai also charged an Accommodation Tax, so I asked a male staff member at the front desk what the difference is between places that charge it and places that don’t. His response was basically “Why are you asking me?” When I looked into it more closely, it seems all of Hokkaido may be subject to an Accommodation Tax. I’ll check later, but since it’s a Hotel-related question, I would have appreciated an answer (sorry for my ignorance). Also, I wasn’t told that there were no amenities in the Room and that I needed to pick them up at the front desk. It was a hassle to go get them, but since I had stayed at a friend’s place until the day before and still had some with me, I used those instead. I’m glad I kept them with me rather than packing them away. There were cars with license plates from many different areas around Hokkaido, but the Hotel itself was quiet and nice. There are convenience stores and izakaya nearby as well, so it didn’t feel inconvenient. If I go to Kikonai again, I’d like to stay here again. One thing I found strange is why staying on Monday costs more than staying on Sunday. (Sorry again for my lack of knowledge.) Most other places are cheaper on weekdays—just something I wondered about.

Conveniently located near the station, and just the right walking distance to the ruins of Kuwana Castle. With an izakaya right next door, you won’t have to worry about finding a place to eat when you don’t feel like searching.

From the warm welcome at the entrance to having my belongings prepared that I had left with you so I could head out fishing early, everything was very helpful. I would like to stay again.

Above all, it might be more convenient than staying in the city center if you are using a car. The Facility is old, but the amenities available at the front desk, as well as instant coffee and tea, were sufficient. The cleaning staff I met during check-out was also very friendly

This was my first stay. The front desk staff were very courteous. There were complimentary drinks on the first floor, and the ice-cold draft beer was excellent. The Room was spacious and had a massage chair, so I could relax, but I couldn’t adjust the air conditioning—when I tried to operate it, it turned off. I filled the in-room Onsen right away and enjoyed a very pleasant bath, but my parent, who has difficulty walking, said the step was high and felt scary. Since everything is flat around it, I thought a handrail would make it safer. I understand this may be difficult as it is not barrier-free. I was looking forward to dinner. Everything was delicious, including salt-grilled ayu and chicken hot pot, and even the white rice was excellent. The children’s lunch plate was also generous in portion size, and my child happily bit into a big fried shrimp. However, there was one thing that concerned me. My child’s dessert (a mousse-like item topped with fruit) that came with the lunch plate was taken away partway through for some reason. Since I happened to be on the phone at that moment, I wondered why. After that, as if nothing had happened, the removed dessert was served to an adult instead, and jelly was placed for my child. I assumed it had been a mistake, but I believe an explanation should have been given. Taking something once served to one person and then serving it to someone else seems inappropriate etiquette-wise. At the very least, some explanation when bringing out the jelly for my child would have been appreciated. Overall it is a wonderful Accommodation; only the dinner service response bothered me. Thank you very much.

All the dishes were very delicious, and every member of the owner’s family was pleasant and kindly answered our questions. The bath is an Onsen like a pool, and it was basically assigned a time slot on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival; there was no second session, which was disappointing for someone who loves baths. The stairs were wet, perhaps because the previous guest didn’t dry off before getting out, which raised hygiene concerns. I understand that things like changing mats may be difficult, but some countermeasures might be worth considering. The Room felt clean, although the windows and other features show their age.

The steak rice bowl was hearty and satisfying. I had prepared my own salad, so with soup, it would have made for a perfect dinner. Breakfast was served in a set meal style rather than a buffet, which was nice in its own way. It would have been even better if there were Onsen eg

Our dog also stayed very comfortably without restrictions or inconvenience (amenities, treat service, dog run, dining together, Child Sharing Existing Bedding, etc.). It was cool even in summer, and we loved the surrounding scenery and environment as well. We will definitely stay

Stayed at the accommodation after attending a festival at Lake Yamanaka. Despite the possibility of arriving past midnight due to traffic, the staff provided kind and accommodating service over the phone—thank you! The room was clean, and I slept soundly until morning. (The blackout screen was so effective that it felt like nighttime even in the morning!) Breakfast was delicious, and the large public bath had soothing water that relieved my fatigue. I had confirmed in advance that room wear wasn’t provided, so I brought my own without any issues. I would love to stay here again if given the chance!
