I chose this Hotel because it offered a great value Plan. Since it's new, the Room was spotless and very satisfying. There was a kettle and instant coffee provided, but while there were plastic cups, there were no paper cups suitable for hot coffee, which I found puzzling. The absence of a desk and only having a table seemed different from typical business hotels. Although I thought the noise from the first-floor okonomiyaki restaurant might be bothersome, my Room on the third floor was surprisingly quiet once I closed the door. However, the Hotel entrance is directly connected to the restaurant without any partition. If you enter or exit late at night or early in the morning when no staff is present at reception, you have to pass through what feels like an empty restaurant after hours. This made me worry about potential unauthorized access by someone with ill intentions—though perhaps this concern is unnecessary.

We stayed as a family of five (myself, my wife, and our three children) with a Plan that included admission to Nasu Highland Park plus the all-you-can-ride Fantasy Pass. On the morning of our stay, we received the tickets from the owner and enjoyed Nasu Highland Park to the fullest until closing time. After that, we headed to this pension, which is very close—about a 5-minute drive away. When we arrived, the owner and his wife welcomed us warmly, and our travel fatigue melted away. The connecting Room with two adjoining rooms was such a treat for families—our kids were excited saying, “This is different from usual!” The private family bath we reserved before dinner used groundwater, and it warmed us through just like an Onsen—so relaxing and comfortable. Dinner was a course meal, and everything was truly delicious—we were completely satisfied. The highlight was the steak served with a yogurt-based sauce; both my wife and I were genuinely impressed. Rice refills were free, and it was so good that we couldn’t help getting seconds. After dinner there was an impressive variety of desserts—rare cheesecake, caramel pudding, chocolate cake, fruit, and more—and enjoying them with chai tea was perfect. At night it was very quiet around the Accommodation. After the kids fell asleep, my wife and I could relax together. One of our children had a nosebleed at night and slightly stained the sheets. When I told them about it, they smiled and said kindly: “No problem at all. Thank you for letting us know.” They mentioned that some guests leave without saying anything even if something gets dirty; moments like this really showed how warm-hearted they are. Breakfast the next morning featured freshly baked bread with dips and dressings—hearty portions that left us full from early on. We took it easy until close to checkout time before heading home. When we left, they saw us off until our car disappeared from view—it made us feel truly welcomed. Our kids were happy they spoke to them too; even after returning home they kept saying “We want to go again!” It’s about an hour and a half from our house, but this Accommodation left a lasting impression with its relaxed pension atmosphere, heartfelt homemade cooking, and the kindness of the owner couple. We would love to visit again as a family soon.

We stayed as a group of five with our dog and grandparents. My husband felt there was a bit of a dog smell, but it didn’t bother me. As it’s new, it felt very clean, and the area around the beds was excellent. If I had to mention something, it would be that you can’t watch regular TV. The projector is nice, but it makes moving back and forth to the kitchen a bit inconvenient. There is a sofa, but since it’s quite high, it’s not ideal for relaxing with a small dog. I also wish there had been some space on the floor where we could sit and eat casually. The morning foot bath was very pleasant. The dog run was great for small dogs—not too big (in a good way).

It was very nice. We were very satisfied with how dog-friendly it was. We’re planning to stay again at a different location.

I used this place because I had work nearby early in the morning and couldn’t risk being late due to weather or traffic. It was a women-only dormitory Room with four bunk beds, accommodating up to 8 guests. Check-in was around 6:00 p.m., and I was the first to arrive. It was unmanned and the procedure was done on a tablet, but it went smoothly with no issues. I could use the lower bunk at the very back of the Room after entering. As I’d seen in Reviews, it got quite dark when I closed the curtain, so I brought a small light with me—it was really helpful. Bringing an S-hook and one hanger also turned out to be the right choice. Since I had a lower bunk, I hooked them onto the frame of the upper bunk. The Room lights seemed to be set to turn off automatically—maybe around 11:00 p.m.? The hallway lights were motion-sensor. Since it was a weekday stay, there was only one other person. There was no snoring from my roommate and it was quiet, so I took out the provided earplugs partway through. People were quiet, but the air-conditioning (ventilation fan?) noise was fairly noticeable. I slept without being bothered by outside noise. Although it’s a women-only Room, there wasn’t a lock at the entrance—just a regular door. A bath towel is provided, and there are women’s shower booths, but there wasn’t a women-only sink area. There is a hair dryer at the shared sink area, but no chair, so getting ready in the morning may be difficult. I only needed somewhere to sleep for one night, and since it’s conveniently located near both the station and restaurants, I was satisfied. I went by car, but it seems like there is no longer parking behind the building. There is coin parking nearby for 500 yen.

We stayed as a family of three with one dog. Until now, we had always traveled after leaving our dog at a pet hotel, but we felt sorry because he seemed depressed when we did that, so this was our first trip together. When I searched online for a “Hotel where dogs can stay too,” Shirakaba Club came up. It’s highly recommended for those who want to plan their trip around their dog. Even during meals, dogs are allowed to join you, which was great because our dog could relax without feeling anxious. We were also truly impressed by how delicious the owners’ course dinner was! The bath is an Onsen, and it left my skin feeling silky smooth. The room was spacious, so our dog could move around freely, and the interior design was thoughtfully done with lots of beautiful amenities. However, the inside of one drawer had not been cleaned properly; perhaps a previous guest left something behind, but there was food that had been left to spoil. The owner had plenty of interesting stories and we really enjoyed talking a lot. His wife was also very lovely. It has a warm, homey atmosphere and we’d like to visit again! Thank you for changing my Reservation from a smoking room to a non-smoking room after I mistakenly booked the smoking option.

Due to heavy snowfall the day before, I made a last-minute Reservation because I didn’t think I’d be able to get to work if I went home. Since dinner wasn’t included, I checked in after picking up some food. I was happy to receive one beer as a welcome drink. I headed straight to the bath—had the large public bath and the sauna all to myself, which was incredibly comfortable. The sauna was around 84°C; I did three quiet sets at a relaxed pace. The cold bath is always running with tap water and stays clean. There are two chairs. It’s very comfortable—a Hotel stay–only sauna where you don’t have to worry about other people watching. That alone makes it worth recommending. Breakfast is all-you-can-eat; I ate well, relaxed, and then went to work. I had a comfortable stay without being late, and thank you for the polite service at the front desk. You get service that exceeds the price. It was a great Hotel. I’ll use it again.

I learned about this Hotel through the Sosui and Otomasa connection and decided I absolutely had to visit, so I stayed here. I’ve long been interested in fermentation and rice koji and have been studying it, so I was really looking forward to it. Dinner was, of course, all about fermentation and koji—and it was even more delicious than I expected; I was truly impressed. As a sauna lover, I was also excited for the sauna, and since there are only a few Rooms, it turned out to be completely private! It was one of the best “reset” experiences I’ve ever had in a sauna. The water provided was also silica-rich natural mineral water. The Room was quiet, spacious, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. On top of that, I got to try making shio-koji and heard so much about koji from the professionals at the Facility—making this a truly meaningful stay. From here on, I’d like to get even more deeply involved in the world of koji. Thank you very much.

Although the exterior is a traditional old house, the interior has been renovated and was very clean. The spacious stone bath overlooks the courtyard, which was charming and enjoyable. There was no air conditioner in the living room, and it felt a bit warm with only the airflow from the air conditioner in the adjacent bedroom. It was helpful that plenty of paper cups were provided. The bed was also comfortable, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time.

It was about a 40-minute drive from Naha Airport. Koza House is in a convenient location with plenty of great day-trip spots nearby, and getting anywhere was effortless. Before our stay, the owner recommended family-friendly places and delicious local restaurants, so we put together our Plan based on that information. The owner really knows good food! Every place we tried was excellent. The house was very clean and incredibly well equipped—almost too convenient. It’s a very comfortable home. To make mornings smoother, I recommend picking up some basics on the way—bread, soup, coffee, and milk (a must for our child)—so you can have a light breakfast before heading out. There are still many more places we want to visit. We’d love to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night with our dog. The Room was clean and well stocked with dog supplies. The amenities were plentiful, and it was great that we could choose what we needed. It was also our first time being served a welcome drink and snacks upon arrival, which made us very happy. The Accommodation staff were friendly and wonderful. There were also all-you-can-drink soft drinks and alcohol, plus treats for our dog. Meals are buffet-style all you can eat; it was a bit disappointing that the selection was somewhat limited, but everything was delicious. The breakfast sandwiches were especially tasty, with plenty of vegetables. We would love to stay again if we have the chance. Highly recommended Accommodation.
