I had forgotten about the bathhouse! It was a perfect size, clean, and allowed me to relax and clear my mind in the bath. Much appreciated. The room was more spacious than I expected and very comfortable. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a phone charger. Overa

The large public bath was easy to use, and I enjoyed relaxing in an onsen. The lounge offered beautiful night views along with cocktails—including many non-alcoholic options—which my sisters with allergies could also enjoy. For breakfast, there were three course options: Western

The services were excellent, but what impressed us even more was the warm hospitality and thoughtful care throughout our stay! Every staff member we met was kind and welcoming, and we truly had a heartwarming time. There were plenty of complimentary drinks and snacks (the summer water service was especially appreciated). We stayed with three preschool-aged children, and even when they got excited, a bit noisy, or fussy, the staff never showed any displeasure—always smiling, speaking gently to them, and offering help whenever they noticed we might be struggling. The team at the front desk, dining area, Onsen area—everyone was wonderful. They were also very courteous when I called in advance with several questions. We chose this Accommodation to visit LEGOLAND Japan and Oyatsu Town, and we definitely want to stay again! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious! It’s located in a place where you can really feel nature, and the Onsen with scenic views made for a relaxing time. This trip reminded me that meeting kind people makes travel so much more fulfilling.

The Hotel maintains excellent cleanliness throughout its facilities. While there isn’t an amenity bar available, drip coffee and mineral water are provided in your Room for added convenience. Overall, it’s a very comfortable and user-friendly place to stay. Thank you very much!

I stayed here solo just before the Obon holidays. The detached Room was very spacious, and I really enjoyed the Onsen a lot! I didn’t use the stairs connecting the scenic-view bath to the open-air bath because they felt a bit unstable, and it was scary being able to see below. Dinner had many dishes, and I ate until I was full. It was delicious, so I finished everything. The breakfast basket was adorable. I ate a lot as well—thank you for the wonderful meal. I was very satisfied because I could stay for just over 40,000 yen as a solo traveler! I always brew and drink rooibos tea, so having a Daiohs water dispenser was really appreciated! For future improvement: as others have mentioned, it would be great if the glass windows in the scenic-view bath were kept cleaner so you can enjoy the view more. Also, the door leading from the scenic-view bath out to the wood deck seemed to fit quite poorly. If staying at full price, I feel maintenance should be improved a bit more. It’s a small thing, but having some local drinks in the refrigerator would add a special touch, so it might be worth considering. That said, despite all my comments, I’d definitely like to visit again. Thank you!

My husband, daughter, and I travel to Hokkaido every year, and this time we visited Jozankei Onsen for the first time. We had imagined it as an Onsen area popular with large tour groups, but this Ryokan was run by a small team and their service was outstanding. It was the first time in a while that we truly enjoyed both our stay and delicious meals at a Ryokan. Not only the Japanese staff but also the international staff were highly professional in the way they spoke and in their knowledge of the cuisine (ingredients, cooking methods, etc.), and you could clearly see how diligently they are always learning. The lounge on the second floor offered light snacks, late-night bites, and tasty drinks throughout the day, which we enjoyed after bathing. The three of us stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. We have a few minor comments about how the Room is partitioned and that there is no screen on the open-air bath window, but the free-flowing hot spring water from the source was excellent. We didn’t know there was such a Ryokan in Jozankei Onsen where individual travelers could enjoy themselves so much. We would love to visit again in another season.

In addition to its convenient location near the station, the reception staff were very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

The room was clean and located almost in the center of the sightseeing area. It was my first time in Kanazawa, and if you’re up for it (though it’s a bit of a walk), you can cover most attractions on foot. We traveled with a pet (a small dog) and were very satisfied with our trip. However, we had to step out of the room to use the washroom and toilet, and since the main entrance faces a major tourist road with no place to stop a car, loading and unloading luggage between the car and the hotel was difficult when carrying a lot of bags.

The facility was very clean and well-maintained. The meals were delicious and satisfying with great portions. Amenities were plentiful and convenient. It was a bit disappointing that only one indoor bath was available during morning cleaning, but I look forward to enjoying

My husband and I visited Nagano on short notice. There were no reasonably priced twin Rooms at Hotels in Matsumoto, so we made a Reservation for two single Rooms. We were grateful just to be able to book, so we didn’t make any special requests, but you prepared adjacent Rooms for us. I truly appreciate your thoughtful consideration. Thank you very much!

It takes longer to walk from the nearest station than I expected, but having a convenience store right in front is convenient. Although the hotel is old, the room is spacious, and the unit space for the bath and toilet is also large, making it easy to use. However, the overwhelm

Despite being located almost directly connected to the station, you won’t hear train noise. Just pass through the underpass beneath the tracks to reach a large supermarket, which is very convenient. There are separate large public baths for men and women, and a coin laundry in the changing area. The breakfast buffet includes Western options such as bread, but I was grateful to find locally sourced items like herring kelp rolls and kamaboko (fish cake).

Last year, I stayed here for a business trip and had a great experience, so this time I stayed with my family for a vacation. My satisfaction increased with the courteous responses to my questions over the phone beforehand and at the front desk during check-in. I thought it was a

We chose kaiseki, and every dish was delicious. In particular, the fried enoha trout was great from head to tail, and the domestic beef grilled on lava stone practically melted in my mouth. I was completely full and very satisfied! Breakfast was buffet-style as well, and we enjoy

As other Reviews mentioned, the Hotel is old but clean. The bathroom was small but spotless. That said, a torn sofa is questionable for a Hotel..... The meals were more than we could finish and were delicious. Also, the front desk staff tried hard to explain things, but they spoke too fast and it was hard to understand—especially the explanation about the bath, which I didn’t really follow.

They also offer daily Blue Seal ice cream, so you can enjoy it to your heart’s content. Since we stayed in a condominium-style room, we also enjoyed awamori and Orion beer. The freshly poured Orion beer was especially delicious—I almost drank too much. The location is great as w

Worked up a good sweat before heading out for drinks near the station, guilt-free eating and drinking! The beer after the stone sauna was amazing. Though there’s no dedicated relaxation area in the sauna, at this price point, there’s nothing to complain about. The next day

Cleaning was thorough, and as someone who often uses Business Hotels in Tokyo, I felt it was a highly satisfying Hotel. There is also a famous ramen shop nearby, which I couldn't visit this time, so I'll try again next time. Thank you for your flexible responses to various re

The room requires changing into slippers upon entry, offering a comfortable size for solo travelers and a clean, pleasant stay. The front desk staff provided excellent service and kindly assisted with dinner recommendations. Guests can choose their preferred pillow, though av
