We stayed here with our children while sightseeing in Nara. There were kid-friendly events such as a festival plaza, so we could enjoy the Ryokan rather than just spending time in our Room. The Onsen was simple but wonderfully warming, and we were very satisfied with the breakfast buffet, including the variety of dishes as well as drinks and desserts. First, take the ferry from Toba to Toshi Island—an amazing, travel-filled experience. (Be sure to park your car in the First Parking Lot and bring the parking ticket to the Accommodation.) If you contact them in advance, they will provide Shuttle Service to Wagu Port. I wanted to buy chirimen, so I walked from Toshi Port; it’s also very close on foot from Toshi Port. The chirimen shop in front of Toshi Port is highly recommended. The Ryokan feels a bit inconvenient due to its older exterior and the lack of an elevator, but inside it is clean, and both the Room and the large public bath have been renovated, making for a very comfortable stay. From my Room, I enjoyed a luxurious time just gazing at the sea beyond the fishing port. The Onsen doesn’t have a view, but it’s clean; even after soaking for a long time I didn’t feel tired, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. I liked it so much that I ended up bathing four times during my stay. For dinner, I upgraded to include Matsusaka beef steak and shabu-shabu, and also ordered abalone sashimi as an extra dish. The spiny lobster and sashimi were fresh and springy; the extra abalone had a wonderful ocean aroma and was outstanding. Everything else was well seasoned and delicious too. Breakfast featured an incredibly rich spiny lobster miso soup—I ate far too much rice first thing in the morning. Excellent value for money—truly fantastic. The owner, his son, and all staff were very pleasant throughout my stay, making my island time comfortable from start to finish. Thank you very much. Next time I plan on bringing fishing gear for a Multiple Night Stay—thank you again in advance.

Conveniently located just a short walk from the station, at the foot of Nabekura Castle and next to the museum. Every dish was delicious and carefully prepared—truly heartfelt. I was surprised by the dessert, which felt like an afternoon tea. The simmered ganmo at breakfast was also excellent! The service was warm and attentive, and we enjoyed listening to a storyteller by the irori hearth. It warmed us to the core. If you’re visiting Tono, I highly recommend this Accommodation!

We stayed as a family. They kindly let us enjoy playing in the river, and the children were delighted. My mother said it was a wonderful Ryokan and that she would like to visit Kajika-so again when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. I was also happy because I had expected to sleep on futons in a Japanese-style room, so having beds was a real comfort for me since I have lower back pain. We would love to visit again as a family. When I entered the Room, the air conditioning was already on and comfortable, and I appreciated that the refrigerator was cold as well. Between the twin beds, there was a switch to turn the room lights on and off, which was very convenient. The breakfast curry was also delicious.

For our family trips to Aomori Prefecture, staying at Suimei has become our go-to choice. Our children are still young, but we didn’t feel any inconvenience at all, and they especially enjoyed the in-Room Onsen. We will definitely return.

This was my second stay at this Hotel. Last time I stayed in a Japanese-style Room, and this time I had made a Reservation for a twin Room (+ an extra bed), but you kindly prepared a four-bed Room for us. Last time, the Room and Facility felt a bit dated, but this time it didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and we had a very comfortable stay. I especially loved how the pillows sank just right; I liked them so much that I wanted the same ones for myself. Also, even before check-in, you thoughtfully called to let us know that “the Room was ready earlier than expected.” We were tired after spending the whole day at Greenland in midsummer from opening time, so being able to rest in our Room right away was extremely helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was wonderfully comfortable from the moment we walked in. As other Reviews mention, dinner did feel warm, but there were plenty of cold drinks as well as shaved ice and soft-serve ice cream available, so we didn’t find it inconvenient. Breakfast also had just the right amount of variety and was delicious. It seemed fully booked, yet we never felt crowded inside the Hotel and were able to relax comfortably. The only thing was that we went to the bath during its busiest time and had some waiting time, but it was within an acceptable range. The Onsen after a long day of activities was wonderful. The next day we used the pool, and when staff told us “You’re welcome to use the Onsen after 11:00,” we gratefully did so. The changing area also had plastic bags for swimsuits and towels prepared—it truly felt like every detail was taken care of. I would love to stay at Hotel Blanca again on our next visit to Greenland. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay at the accommodation. The staff's hospitality was excellent, and the food was delicious. I was already full after enjoying Matsuba crab, but the tempura served later was so perfectly fried that I ate it all. The bathhouse had a charming atmosphere with great Onsen water, though a higher chair would have been appreciated. As I age, I find traditional accommodations more comforting to my heart, though my body is starting to feel otherwise. Since it was a room with a bed type, there were no inconveniences inside the room. I hope to visit again while I'm still able to use stairs. I felt that Iwai Onsen has remained unchanged for decades, and its unchanging nature is part of its charm.

Our family of three stayed in connecting Rooms with two Rooms linked by a door. With plenty of space and two toilets, we were able to relax comfortably. The ski resort is nearby, and you can walk to the restaurant area at Roadside Station Arai. The only downside is that there is only one large Onsen bath, with alternating hours for men and women, so you can’t use it at your preferred time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This Hotel offers great value for money and comes highly recommended.

I stayed for one night starting February 22. The two male staff members at the front desk were very kind and courteous, and they carefully explained the amenities, complimentary drinks, and loungewear. They also showed me how to use the Hotel facilities, which made me even more excited to stay here. The Room was a bit small, but it was thoroughly cleaned and perfectly comfortable. The bath area was compact as well, but it was well maintained. They placed hinoki wood in the tub, and the soothing scent filled the space. Breakfast the next morning included salad and was very healthy, delicious, and filling. The pillow in my Room was quite firm, so I used a lower pillow available at the front desk. It was very comfortable to sleep on. My husband said he preferred the standard pillow provided. Overall, I was completely satisfied with this Hotel.

My main purpose this time was to visit Arashiyama, so I stayed at this Hotel in Shijo-Omiya. The nearby bus stop is also conveniently located, with many bus routes to various areas of Kyoto. The Room had an unusual design—a Japanese-style Room with beds—but it was comfortable. If possible, I would have liked a floor chair. The large public bath was also nice, but the only drawback was that the shower pressure was so strong it hurt when sprayed on my face. Also, I heard the women’s public bath was extremely crowded on Saturday night, so it would be helpful if the TV in the Room could show how busy the public bath is, like some other hotels do.
