This was my second stay at this auberge. I was deeply moved on my previous visit, so this time I brought my family. The simple Room felt very relaxing, and the thoughtfully prepared cuisine was not only delicious but also beautiful to look at. Everyone who served the meals—led by Madame and the chef—was courteous and kind, making both dinner and breakfast truly wonderful. Everything we purchased to take home, including paella, hamburg steak, jam, and cheesecake, was delicious; even now, about a month after our stay, they bring back fond memories of Auberge de Oishi.

We stayed as a family of four. The Room and bath were great, but above all, the meals were outstanding. The complimentary beer after the bath and ice cream were also nice, but what impressed us even more was the staff’s hospitality. From casual conversations they suggested a stro

The view from the Room was great, and both the Hotel and restaurant provided a pleasant experience. We received free tickets to Gonggen Onsen, about a 10-minute drive from the Hotel, and enjoyed relaxing in the Onsen after checking in. The front desk staff left a good impressio

Although it is located along a main road, once you step inside, it feels like another world. You are enveloped in greenery and tranquility that still preserve the atmosphere of its founding 160 years ago. With a spacious Japanese garden and wooded grounds, I was genuinely surprised that such a nature-rich space remains in such a convenient location from central Fukuoka City. The large public bath is spacious, with free-flowing water from the source continuously overflowing. Freshly drawn spring water carries a pleasant sulfur aroma. Through the wide windows, you can enjoy forest bathing. There is no open-air bath, but it still felt wonderfully open and relaxing. The meals were truly satisfying: refined dishes that are gentle on both body and mind, made with locally sourced seasonal ingredients from across Kyushu. The portions were just right. The tableware was also exceptional—you could feel how carefully high-quality pieces have been cherished and used over many years. We stayed in Heiantei, and the Room features an interior corridor layout that maintains privacy between each space (two Japanese-style rooms and one salon), making it comfortable even for multiple families traveling together. We were only two people, but it was more than spacious enough for us. The staff’s division of roles was thorough; each person clearly carried themselves as a professional in their position, and you could sense their pride in working at this renowned Ryokan. The service was flawless. Maintaining this level of quality must be incredibly demanding, but I sincerely hope they will continue to protect this precious historic Onsen Accommodation and pass it on to the future generations to come. It’s also extremely close—just 15 minutes by train from central Fukuoka City—so convenience is outstanding as well. Having stayed at countless Ryokan and Hotels, I can recommend this place with complete confidence.

The building was simply wonderful. We stayed in the detached Room “Gion” with an open-air bath, and it was very spacious with high ceilings; the dark brown beams and pillars gave it a charming atmosphere. There were two semi-double beds, and they were fluffy and very comfortable. The in-room open-air bath was spacious and amazing (the view would likely be especially beautiful in late autumn or when it’s snowy—though getting there might be a bit challenging). Dinner was also very delicious.

The staff's attentiveness was excellent, and they were considerate of every detail. Especially since my wife is pregnant, they played a song from a drama set in an obstetrics clinic during dinner, which deeply moved us. I felt that this accommodation provides the best hospita

Thank you for your warm hospitality, including the surprise chocolates and the Room upgrade. From the entrance to the restaurant, I was impressed by the attentive service from all staff members. It is a lovely Hotel where history and modern comfort are beautifully balanced, and

The location of Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura was excellent! Right in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment facilities nearby!

The Room was spacious and very well cleaned, making for a comfortable stay. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious across the board. Best of all was the service: every staff member greeted us with a smile and a gentle manner, which was just as soothing as the On

During this trip to Ashiya, Himeji, and Okayama with stays at three hotels in total, I found myself wishing all three nights had been spent at Hotel Takezono Ashiya instead. Coffee, tea, black tea—and croquettes! I always look forward to breakfast here every time. Thank you

It was an incredibly comfortable and amazing Hotel. The amenities included luxurious cosmetics to choose from, a welcome drink, a coffee machine, DVD player, and BOSE speakers in the Room. The bath amenities were fully equipped with a separate shower, mist sauna, and jacuzzi.

Thanks to the Diamond member benefit, we received a Room upgrade. The moment we stepped inside, the space was so generous that I couldn’t help but say, “Wow.” The interior was consistently styled with a Kyoto-inspired Japanese aesthetic, creating a wonderfully calm atmosphere. The indirect lighting was thoughtfully designed, and the Room felt especially lovely at night. The tableware included beautiful, like-new pieces from Noritake and HARIO. My personal favorite was the bath salts—soaking in the tub while surrounded by natural aromas was truly relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, and having it delivered to our Room made everything feel effortless. Rather than a Hotel stay, it felt like relaxing in a private residence. This time we stayed for one night, but it’s an Accommodation where I’d love to enjoy a Multiple Night Stay at a slower pace. All staff were polite and kind, which made us feel at ease. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

We were looking forward to enjoying the private open-air bath, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the large public bath and in-room open-air bath. The thoughtful touches and breathtaking views made everything perfect. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Thank you f

The Room was spacious and comfortable; after enjoying the bath, I relaxed in the massage chair provided in the Room. From the open-air bath in the large public bath area, I enjoyed a breathtaking view of cherry blossoms in full bloom—a perfect setting for a flower-viewing bath.

It was a wonderful Hotel! We chose a Plan that included two sessions in the private family bath, and it was such a relaxing time together as a family—making great memories. All the staff were kind, and we enjoyed an elegant stay. Everything was spotless and incredibly comfortable

The large public bath felt around 43–45°C to me, which was too hot to soak in, but the Room, changing area, and bathing area were kept very clean. Even when fully booked, it was an easy Hotel to stay in. Great value for money—I would definitely return—and I recommend this Accomm
