Conveniently located just a short walk from the station, at the foot of Nabekura Castle and next to the museum. Every dish was delicious and carefully prepared—truly heartfelt. I was surprised by the dessert, which felt like an afternoon tea. The simmered ganmo at breakfast was also excellent! The service was warm and attentive, and we enjoyed listening to a storyteller by the irori hearth. It warmed us to the core. If you’re visiting Tono, I highly recommend this Accommodation!

It was nice that this small Accommodation was quiet and peaceful. The Onsen had a gentle sulfur scent and natural mineral deposits, which felt good for the skin. Meals were served in a private dining room, so we could relax without worrying about others.

We stayed for two nights as a family. As this is glamping within a golf facility, it’s set on beautifully maintained lawns, and we were able to relax very comfortably—almost like staying at a Hotel. Even though it was summer, insects didn’t bother us much. We did notice a slight vinyl-like smell from the tent, but the interior was spacious, with two air-conditioning units and adjustable lighting, so it was very comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean, which made it reassuring for women as well. The Italian meals were excellent and very generous in portion size. We stayed for two nights, and they changed the menu for us; everything was delicious. I can’t go into details, but they were also considerate of our picky-eating son—I felt sorry to trouble them—but we truly appreciated their thoughtful attention. Because it’s all-inclusive, I was disappointed that I don’t drink alcohol, but my husband does and seemed extremely satisfied being able to enjoy a variety of drinks without hesitation. We couldn’t make it to bar time due to our schedule, but it sounded like there was a great selection and we would have loved to try it. There is some distance between the clubhouse where you dine and the tent where you stay. Shuttle Service is generally provided, but if you want to walk instead, please note that walking may not be allowed during certain hours (possibly for safety reasons). At night, it was lovely to stroll from the clubhouse back to the tent while looking up at the sky. There’s also a “German Village” within driving distance; we enjoyed activities like putter golf with our children. We didn’t overpack our schedule and spent two relaxing days—making wonderful memories.

This was my second stay at this Hotel. Last time I stayed in a Japanese-style Room, and this time I had made a Reservation for a twin Room (+ an extra bed), but you kindly prepared a four-bed Room for us. Last time, the Room and Facility felt a bit dated, but this time it didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and we had a very comfortable stay. I especially loved how the pillows sank just right; I liked them so much that I wanted the same ones for myself. Also, even before check-in, you thoughtfully called to let us know that “the Room was ready earlier than expected.” We were tired after spending the whole day at Greenland in midsummer from opening time, so being able to rest in our Room right away was extremely helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was wonderfully comfortable from the moment we walked in. As other Reviews mention, dinner did feel warm, but there were plenty of cold drinks as well as shaved ice and soft-serve ice cream available, so we didn’t find it inconvenient. Breakfast also had just the right amount of variety and was delicious. It seemed fully booked, yet we never felt crowded inside the Hotel and were able to relax comfortably. The only thing was that we went to the bath during its busiest time and had some waiting time, but it was within an acceptable range. The Onsen after a long day of activities was wonderful. The next day we used the pool, and when staff told us “You’re welcome to use the Onsen after 11:00,” we gratefully did so. The changing area also had plastic bags for swimsuits and towels prepared—it truly felt like every detail was taken care of. I would love to stay at Hotel Blanca again on our next visit to Greenland. Less than a 10-minute drive from central Masuda, yet a peaceful rural view spreads out beyond the windows. This is a small Accommodation run by a friendly owner and kind hostesses, and because they also welcome day-use bathing, it’s lively with locals. Dinner every Wednesday is curry. Some people might think, “Curry…?” but it was truly restaurant-quality. It has just a mild kick afterward, so even children can enjoy it—simply delicious. A medium bottle is JPY 600, which is very reasonable, and we were also told guests are free to bring their own drinks. The bath was larger than expected, and depending on the time of day it felt almost private, so we could relax deeply. The milky open-air bath is heated water with bath additives added, but surrounded by the scent of field burning and birdsong, it felt like a blissful space. Best of all at night was the chorus of frogs. Sitting on the veranda and letting their calls soothe us, we noticed faint lights drifting outside—fireflies. It was still early in the season so we only saw a few, but it was an unexpected surprise that delighted us as a couple. Breakfast also came with unlimited rice refills—we were full and completely satisfied. As an old wooden Accommodation, sound naturally carries. You can tell everyone understands this and uses the place considerately. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to unwind with an open mind at an unhurried pace. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family. The front desk staff were kind and courteous, which made us feel at ease. For parking, we unloaded our luggage in the lot across from the Hotel and left the car key at the front desk. There are many izakaya nearby, so finding dinner wasn’t a problem, but it was so crowded that you may not get into popular places without a Reservation. If we have the chance, we would like to stay again.

I’d been curious about this place for a while, and this was my first stay. The atmosphere felt like a condominium in Hawaii or Australia. There’s no kitchen, but the space and layout have that kind of feel. It has underfloor heating, so it seems like it will be warm in the coming season as well. Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM, allowing for a relaxed stay. I unknowingly checked in at 3:30 PM. The showerhead was ReFa; although there is no large public bath, I was satisfied. Conveniently located in Miyoshi City with affordable pricing, it was a gre
