This Accommodation is a day-use Onsen Facility with lodging, overlooking the satoyama landscape of Okuizumo. Thank you for letting us stay at a very reasonable rate as part of the “Special Room Grand Reopening Commemorative” offer. The Room was clean and comfortable. The refrigerator was well stocked with complimentary drinks such as beer, chu-hi, sake, and tea. There was also a coffee machine with plenty of coffee beans provided—perfect for coffee lovers. The open-air bath is not very open, but it is free-flowing from the source. However, since the source temperature is low at 29°C, it was disappointing that hot water needs to be added. Because it was hot in July, we mostly bathed using the source water as-is. When I returned to the air-conditioned Room I felt chilly at first, but afterward my body warmed up from the core. The large public bath was far from the Special Room, but I still went three times. I noticed a slight chlorine smell, but it was nicely warm. It would be ideal if the in-room bath’s spring water could be heated. For dinner we had the top-tier “Matsu Kaiseki” at a table in the restaurant. At this great price (50,000 yen), we were fully satisfied; however, if it were priced at 70,000–80,000 yen or more for two people, I think more creativity would be needed both in the dining setting and in the meal content. As of writing this Review on IKYU.com , it seems that Special Rooms are not currently being sold there. We were glad to enjoy beautiful satoyama views with no solar panels or anything else in sight from this Accommodation. All staff served us with warm smiles and pleasant hospitality. I also appreciated that most staff were local Japanese rather than foreign workers. We support hardworking Japanese Ryokan like yours. If charging regular rates, we hope you will consider adding one more step of “specialness” worthy of a Special Room. We would love to stay again.

This was my first time staying at a dormitory-style Hotel. The high ratings make sense—the Facilities were well equipped and very clean. The large public bath was especially nice, designed so you can open the window and enjoy it like a semi-open-air bath. Maybe because it was a weekday, the sinks in the morning weren’t crowded, which made it comfortable. The walls are thin, so there’s not much you can do about other guests’ snoring even with earplugs, but that’s to be expected. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

We stayed at the Nagasaki Marriott for two nights, in a Harbor View Suite on the top (13th) floor. With the summer Plan, Child Sharing Existing Bedding and breakfast were free for our child, so it was an excellent value. We also arranged a sofa bed for an additional fee (8,960 yen), and it was very comfortable. The Hotel is directly connected to Nagasaki Station, so access is outstanding. It’s easy to dine and shop at the station building, which was extremely convenient. Because we checked in late, we used room service, and every dish was high quality—we were very satisfied. In addition to Goto udon and burgers, there were plenty of kids’ menu options as well. From the room we could see large cruise ships, and the Harbor View scenery was truly spectacular. As it has only recently opened, the property is very clean throughout, and the modern, sophisticated interior design left a strong impression. The bathroom had a spacious round bathtub; the vanity had an easy-to-use double sink; and with two toilets available as well, our family stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast on both days; some items changed between days so we never got bored. Local Nagasaki specialties such as kakuni buns and sara udon were all delicious, as were the shumai. There was also a wide selection of cheeses, dried fruits, and breads. Both Japanese- and Western-style options were plentiful—something international guests would enjoy too. We couldn’t use the lounge during food service hours, but since it’s open 24 hours a day, it was nice to relax there with coffee. In terms of location, rooms, dining options, and service overall satisfaction was high—it was a very comfortable stay. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Nagasaki.

Self check-in at the front desk is easy, and you can also check out using the machine. Staff are available nearby and kindly explain everything you need. Amenities are placed in front of the front desk, so you can take what you like. There is a coffee machine next to the front desk where you can enjoy authentic coffee. The cups come with lids, so you can take it back to your Room. The coffee was very delicious. The Room bathroom is well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap. Whenever I go to Chiba, I always stay at this Hotel. It’s close to the station, the Room is clean, and I really like it.

I chose this Business Hotel because I wanted to stay out drinking late in the city. It was clean, and breakfast was included, so I felt it was more than adequate as a Business Hotel.

The Room was wonderful. The high ceiling made it feel very open and spacious. The food was also delicious!! The corn mayonnaise pizza was outstanding—I was truly impressed! Also, the baguette I ordered had a lovely wheat aroma and was more than delicious enough on its own! For breakfast, the chicken soup curry had great spices and was really tasty! The pork miso soup—maybe pork really is best—was No. 1 among all I’ve ever had! As expected for a winery Hotel, the wine was incredibly good as well! The staff were very pleasant, which made the stay even better. One thing I noticed was a slight odor coming from the kitchen drain. I feel this happens fairly often in Rooms with kitchens (not only at this Hotel). I’d like to see this improved. It would also be nice to have a diffuser with a pleasant scent—good fragrance helps you relax... Everything else was excellent, so I’d love to stay again someday. Next time, I plan to arrive with plenty of room in my stomach and fully enjoy the food and wine.

Ayanna Miyako was the Hotel I had absolutely wanted to stay at when traveling to Miyakojima. Because it’s such a wonderful Hotel, it was fully booked during Golden Week, but I joined the waitlist and managed to stay!! A few days before my stay, they called to confirm my arrival time and kindly asked if we were celebrating anything—if so, they could prepare a cake (additional fee). My stay was just before the rainy season began, and the weather was great. When I opened the Room door, there was a stylish interior leading out to the pool—and beyond that, a beautiful ocean view. Relaxing on a poolside chair with an Orion beer they had stocked in the fridge was truly the best!! I’ve stayed in Rooms with private pools before—on Okinawa’s main island, on another date in Miyakojima this trip, and even in Hakone—but personally, Ayanna Miyako is my favorite. Breakfast was beautifully set up as well, and the Eggs Benedict was outstanding! One thing to note: check-in and everything else (including breakfast reservations) were all handled via smartphone. However, they support you if you have any questions, so I think even those who aren’t comfortable with smartphones can feel at ease. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

This was my third stay, the first in a year and a half. The hot spring water here is simply outstanding— the moment you step in, you can’t help but let out a joyful sigh. I’m also grateful to the cheerful, welcoming proprietress for her thoughtful care in so many ways. It was my husband’s first time staying here, and he was impressed not only by the hot spring, but also by being able to enjoy some rare sake at dinner and by how beautifully the lighting is used throughout the Accommodation. Soaking in the hot spring washes away everyday fatigue and stress completely—once you stay here, you’ll find yourself coming back again and again. Thank you very much for your hospitality; I will definitely visit again within this year. Thank you.

My first time at Myoban Onsen. I’m excited to be able to stay at Okamotoya, which is highly rated in guidebooks. I was very satisfied with the milky-blue water. The Room was just the right size for one person and had a great view, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dessert pudding and the orange juice at breakfast were especially appreciated since I don’t drink alcohol. Since this is a Multiple Night Stay, it really helped that they provided extra yukata and towels. Just one thing: at dinner on the first day, the rice and soup were a bit lukewarm (it was fine on the second day). Also, perhaps due to the season, the seating was quite close to other guests during meals, which made it a little hard to eat comfortably. Still, I’m so satisfied that I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Stayed during a trip to Sendai with a rental car. There is free coffee in the lobby, and while the room is small, it is easy to use. The parking lot is spacious, making it convenient for late check-ins. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Having a large public bath was great for relieving travel fatigue.

Considering the price, this Hotel offers excellent value for money. The Room is compact but functional, with power outlets and USB ports by the bed—very convenient for charging a phone. The small table is also easy to use, and everything you need feels neatly organized. The bed is firm without sinking too much, which was great—I didn’t wake up with any lower back pain. Breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety, but everything was tasty and more than satisfying. There’s also a water dispenser available, which was very handy. This isn’t a Hotel for luxury, but given the Accommodation Fee, the Facility offerings are more than sufficient and its practicality is a real plus. If you want an affordable stay, this is a highly recommended Hotel.

Because the property is operated by a small team, there were a few minor things I noticed, but the meals were delicious and served in just the right portions, and I was able to enjoy the bath to my satisfaction with a Reservation. I’d love to come back in autumn to see the fall foliage.

It was so comfortable that I stayed two months in a row. I had a great time last month, so this time I stayed with friends for a girls’ night. Last time I was on the 6th floor, and this time on the 5th, which felt just right in terms of height. The Room is very spacious and comfortable, and the layout makes it easy to get around the building. We spent a long time chatting in the lounge. I really appreciated the wide selection of complimentary drinks and the snacks provided. Other guests in the lounge were also considerate and used it quietly. I would definitely like to visit again. The open-air bath was also very relaxing. Thank you for such a soothing stay.

This is a small Ryokan with a strong sense of history, and as soon as you step through the entrance, you are welcomed by a classic Japanese Ryokan that blends beautifully with nature. The attentive service from the staff and the view of Kakusenkei Gorge from the Room made for a wonderful welcome. The Onsen is also small, but it was calm and very relaxing. Most impressive of all was the dining experience—every detail, from the food to the presentation and tableware, was outstanding. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to return to.

Stayed after the New Year holidays at a very affordable price. This was my second stay, and check-in was easy and convenient using a QR code. The Hotel staff kindly assisted me as well. The bathroom and toilet are separate, allowing for a relaxing bath, and the bed is extremely comfortable. Located right in front of Chiba-Chuo Station, the access is excellent. There are also convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it highly recommended!

The Room was very clean and lovely, and I had a comfortable stay. The windows open fully, so you can really enjoy the riverside atmosphere. In the morning, I could even see boats collecting clams. It’s also close to the bus stop, making it convenient for getting anywhere. Everyone at the front desk and the cleaning staff were kind and helpful. The bathroom was clean as well, and it was very pleasant to use. One downside was that there was no luggage rack. Since I have back pain, I placed my luggage on the desk with permission, but then I couldn’t use the desk, which was disappointing. Also, not having a clock by the bed was a small inconvenience. If these points are improved, I think it would be an even more comfortable stay. That said, it’s a wonderful Hotel. I’d definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

From the moment I was picked up, the staff made a great impression, and as soon as I stepped into the Hotel, I was soothed by a wonderful aroma scent. I was shown to a private Room to check in. The Room had a simple design and was very comfortable to stay in. I also enjoyed choosing my favorite scent with the aroma diffuser in the Room. This time I joined the 1-night, 2-day fasting course. Since it wasn’t a water-only fast, I had carrot juice, homemade umeboshi (pickled plum), bancha tea, and more for dinner and again the next morning. After checkout, they treated me to rice porridge, miso soup, handmade umeboshi, hana ingen beans (runner beans), and bancha tea—everything was very satisfying. Personally, the hana ingen beans slowly simmered over two days with beet sugar were so delicious that I couldn’t help asking if they were available for purchase. After check-in, I also received a brown-rice onigiri with umeboshi, which I enjoyed on my long-distance bus ride home. There is no TV in the Room, but Wi‑Fi is available so you can use your smartphone. However, since it was such a good opportunity, I tried not to use my phone during my stay as much as possible. Time flew by as I read health magazines in the lounge with herbal tea in hand; opened the window in my guest room to read my own book while listening to birdsong; and reviewed personal finances that had been put off due to everyday busyness. From the Onsen bath area in the morning, you can see Mt. Asama—the view was truly wonderful. If there’s one thing to mention: since exercise is part of my routine personally, having showers in every Room would have made it even more comfortable by allowing me to rinse off quickly after working out. Other than that minor point, everything exceeded expectations—the staff were lovely throughout—and it was a stay I would definitely like to repeat.

I chose this Hotel because I thought it was the best option in Ofunato City for my friend’s stay. My friend was very satisfied, so I’m giving it a high rating. Thank you.

We chose this Accommodation because it offers views of Lake Biwa. The scenery throughout the property was exactly as shown in the photos on the website, and we were captivated by the refined design and attention to detail. We booked a Plan that included breakfast and dinner, and every dish made generous use of local ingredients and was truly delicious. We would love to return, and we would also like to recommend it to someone special. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

I was visiting Kobe and looking for a reasonably priced place to stay when I found this Accommodation. The spa and sauna—especially the Finland-certified sauna—were excellent. The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. I’ve stayed here more than once, and I’ll continue to use it whenever I go to Sannomiya, or even when I visit Kyoto. It’s a favorite of mine.
