We were very satisfied with the happy hour and breakfast, and the amenities were well stocked. The location was convenient, with a shopping mall nearby, and the front desk and staff were very helpful. The Room was very clean, and it felt like it had been thoroughly cleaned down to every detail. Thank you for taking care of us.

I have stayed here about three times so far, and each time I was in a different Room with its own unique atmosphere—every Room is wonderful. When it comes to Chusuizan, the cuisine is the highlight. Each visit, I was thoroughly satisfied with the creative dishes made with seasonal ingredients. The lounge also offers an excellent variety of items.

At check-in, we were able to make a Reservation for the private bath and choose drinks for dinner. Dinner had gentle yet well-balanced flavors and was excellent. The local craft beer was also very easy to drink.

Stayed here for my first trip to Miyazaki! The Japanese-style room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. Very satisfied with the reasonable price. However, when I asked about the bath hours through the official website's AI chat, I was told "from check-in until 2 AM the next day." Trusting this information, I planned to relax in the bath after enjoying the stone sauna (which is a great feature). But when I went at 11 PM, it turned out that bath access ended at 11 PM instead of 2 AM as stated. The cleaning staff arrived while I hurriedly used the bath—this part was disappointing. (laughs) I also felt sorry for inconveniencing the cleaning staff. That said, being able to use it again in the morning made up for it!

It was a clean and pleasant room.

This was my first stay. It was very convenient, just a 1-minute walk from the station. The views were great, including the Shinkansen, the Bessho Line, and the mountains.

My second stay, following last winter. Last time I came by car. After sightseeing at Owakudani and other spots, I followed the navigation system and didn’t really know where it was, but this time I used the mountain railway and was surprised to find it was very close to Sounzan Station. Even on the walk from the station, I felt welcomed by a pleasant breeze and birdsong, and arrived at the Accommodation in great spirits. The attendant who looked after us was the same as last year. Their cheerful manner and excellent timing in serving meals were unchanged. The Room and shared areas were just as spotless as before—not a speck of dust—making everything feel wonderfully refreshing. The open-air bath assigned to each Room is located a short distance away, and ours was excellent again this time. With cuckoos calling more beautifully around this season, I could truly relax in both sound and hot water. The meals were delicious as before: a soup with pike conger eel (hamo) and junsai; seasonal ingredients like Manganji peppers with superb seasoning; gourd “kaminari-boshi,” which I hadn’t tasted in ages; plus breakfast highlights such as the vegetable salad and dressing, perfectly grilled salted salmon (both seasoning and doneness), and fresh yuba served at just the right moment. An Accommodation I’d love to return to for its hospitality.

The building itself felt fairly ordinary, but it was clean and pleasant. Above all, the meals were outstanding, and I was extremely satisfied. They focused on local ingredients and dishes, all delicious and thoughtfully prepared—it truly made me glad I came. The omelet and raw egg made with Hinai-jidori eggs were excellent. It was my first time eating so much iburigakko with cream cheese. It turned into a very satisfying trip. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay with the Kyukamura group again.

Five siblings stayed here together. Our Room was on the second floor, but because the Accommodation is on a hill, we had a great view over the green trees and the Onsen town. The spacious bedroom and Japanese-style room can be separated with sliding doors, which helped us catch up on sleep after the ferry ride. The floor chairs were also very helpful for our elderly family members, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a coffee maker in the Room. We were also grateful that you accommodated an allergy request even though we had failed to inform you in advance. The meals were delicious as well—beautifully presented creative dishes with wonderful colors. The Hotel’s atmosphere, furniture, and furnishings felt beautiful, as everything is carefully maintained and used with respect despite its age. We love Kyushu, so when we visit Beppu again, we would like to stay here again.

This is my favorite Ryokan in Izu Kogen. It was my first stay in a while. This time, my eldest daughter—who usually works extremely hard as a nurse—was able to take an unusual long weekend and said she wanted to celebrate my birthday, so we decided to stay here. There are nine private baths, each with a different style. My daughter was thrilled and kept saying, “I’m going to try them all!” At dinner, the kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) I specially requested was huge, and she happily said, “Dad, this fish is delicious!” She smiled the entire trip. The one who felt most healed by this relaxing getaway was me—the father. The staff’s service was truly top-notch, and our stay was very comfortable. I’d love to visit again. Next time, I’ll probably get scolded if I don’t bring my younger daughter too.

We stayed in a luxuriously designed Suite Room. The 24-hour free-flowing cloudy Onsen in the Room was pure indulgence. Even among Accommodations with an open-air bath, I don’t think you’ll find another with a bath as large as this Accommodation’s. The mountain and river cuisine also showed great attention to detail—highly recommended for a stay.

Wearing a hat in the misty drizzle, I will never forget being able to fully enjoy the beautiful mountain stream and its free-flowing Onsen straight from the source. The abundant volume of hot water, like a geyser, was truly the height of luxury and made for an exceptional holiday. However, it was disappointing that some young people got heavily drunk in the river bath late at night and were shouting loudly, but when I reported it you responded immediately, which I appreciated. I was deeply impressed by your dedication to maintaining order at this traditional Ryokan even at the expense of sleep. I understand there are limits to judging guests in advance, but I feel it would be better to provide thorough reminders beforehand. Sorry for my blunt suggestion. I know it must be difficult with so many different kinds of guests. Still, I thought that filtering out preventable trouble as much as possible would also make things easier for your staff. After all, I want to enjoy this beautiful stream-side hot spring source in peace—and that tranquility is what makes the wonderful cuisine and Room truly shine.

My hometown is Suzuka, and I was surprised to find such a great Hotel here. Due to certain circumstances, I couldn't stay at my parents' house and had to book this Hotel for my family of four. It far exceeded our expectations. As part of my job, I travel across the whole country and stay at various hotels, but this Business Hotel ranks among the top three nationwide in my opinion. First of all, it's conveniently located near the station. While Mie Prefecture can be challenging without a car, the nearby bar district and Aeon Mall are very accessible. The beds and pillows are excellent, with no unnecessary amenities provided—just what you need. The highlight is definitely the breakfast! Normally, I don't expect much from Business Hotel breakfasts or even think they're worth adding to a Plan; however, since this time we happened to choose a Plan with breakfast included, we decided to give it a try—and it was amazing beyond expectations! Not only bread but also unlimited rice servings were available along with miso soup and onion soup. There were about five side dishes with varied seasonings featuring combinations like meat or fish paired with vegetables—always including some veggies in every dish! The drink options were plentiful too; there were even two types of smoothies available for unlimited refills. The simple menu structure ensures you neither overeat nor undereat. The hotel staff maintained just the right level of interaction—friendly yet unobtrusive. Perfect score!

We stayed here after visiting the Kushiro Marsh. The medicinal cuisine dinner was delicious. The Onsen was spacious and clean, and it warmed us up and felt great. There is a guest-only laundry, which was very helpful. If we go to Kushiro again, we would like to stay here again.

We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. We received such warm hospitality from the owner and everyone at the Accommodation, and it truly became a wonderful anniversary. The meals were absolutely delicious—simply the best. There are three baths, all private; except for one outdoor bath, the others are free-flowing hot spring baths that you can use even late at night, and they were incredibly relaxing. After dark, the proprietress kindly took us out of her way to show us fireflies. It was magical and beautifully enchanting. Yunotsubo Street is crowded with international tourists, but since only Japanese guests stay at this Accommodation, it is very quiet and soothing. We arrived early, but they kindly allowed us to use the parking lot. Thanks to that, we were able to stroll around Lake Kinrin and Yunotsubo Street. It was a lovely place watched over by Mt. Yufu. We would love to visit again.

This was a repeat stay. This time, I stayed in a Room with beds on tatami mats. The tatami showed slight signs of wear, but the Room was clean and I was able to relax. I was happy that the TV had BS channels. Nightwear was available to take from the elevator hall. The front desk staff were also very helpful. I would like to stay again when I have business in the area.

We stayed here for my mother’s birthday. I had arranged a fruit platter as an optional gift in advance, and there was also a thoughtful photo frame and message card in our Room, which made my mother very happy. Thank you for helping make it such a memorable birthday. Thanks to the proprietress’s many considerate touches, we had a comfortable and enjoyable trip. It was a truly wonderful Accommodation in every detail. The food and baths were excellent, and we were able to fully enjoy Shuzenji.

This time, I stayed two nights on the Mojiko side, then took the ferry across to the Shimonoseki side for one night. It was a very sunny and hot day, but Karato Market, the Karato Ferry Terminal, Kaikyokan (Shimonoseki Aquarium), Hai! Karatto Yokocho (a small amusement park), and RISONARE are all lined up in the same area, so it’s great that you can enjoy everything within walking distance. On top of that, the Hotel offers plenty of kid-friendly activities such as the pufferfish pool and pufferfish beach, and the little ones looked like they were having a wonderful time. I also saw families staying with three generations together—this seems like an excellent choice for family trips. As for me, it was a solo trip for one night, so I treated myself to a full pufferfish Italian course at Otto Sette in the dining room (the aperitif was served on the terrace at sunset before moving into the dining room!). I also enjoyed a relaxing resort stay in a new and comfortable Room while taking in views of the Kanmon Straits. In the morning, I started my walk before dawn along Arukaport Promenade by the sea in front of the Hotel. With cool sea breezes and gradually brightening skies over the Kanmon Straits, I walked past Karato Market to Sister City Plaza at the end of the promenade to watch sunrise. Then I returned along the same path back to the Hotel and joined “Sea Breeze Stretch” on Namunami Terrace with its beautifully kept lawn. After that came an incredible breakfast buffet with so many options it was hard to choose—I enjoyed it right up to my limit. At PUKU PUKU’s breakfast buffet, kawara soba, seafood marinated rice bowls, and French toast are must-haves—go hungry. Even though it was only one night, it felt incredibly fulfilling. I’d love to come back—and now I want to visit other RISONARE properties too. Also, even if you make a Reservation here, it’s convenient that you can log in on their official website using your Reservation Number and arrange meals and activities online in advance.

This was my second stay. Last time, I really enjoyed the “Sukiyaki with Matsutake Mushrooms and Butter-Grilled Autumn Salmon & Mushrooms” course, so this time I chose the classic Plan with a kaiseki meal featuring Mihara’s specialty octopus shabu-shabu and lava-grilled domestic beef. Despite the weak yen continuing due to factors such as the Middle East situation and rising prices overall, it seems they are doing their best with little to no price increase; however, that may be why the meal felt noticeably less satisfying, and I felt the portion size would not be enough for younger families raising children. For guests who want to focus on dining, it would be helpful to recommend choosing a course labeled [Cuisine-Focused]. Even so, the pricing still offers excellent value for money. This year, it seems the “Sukiyaki with Matsutake Mushrooms and Autumn Salmon” course is not being offered, but I hope they will bring it back even if it costs more. This time, we were also able to enjoy fireflies near the Hotel due to the season. The staff are kind, and it’s a great-value Hotel—so I hope they continue offering Plans that let guests fully enjoy delicious food.

Perhaps because it was before Golden Week and we visited during a season without fireworks, it was quiet and very comfortable. The in-Room bath with free-flowing hot spring water and the large public bath were both excellent, and the breakfast had plenty of variety—this has become an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. For my morning bath, I enjoyed a beer while leisurely looking out over Lake Toya; it was a truly luxurious time. As for service, perhaps because there are many international guests, we were suddenly spoken to in English, and there were quite a few moments where I felt the staff could use a bit more training—so I’m giving it a 4.
