I learned about this Ryokan through a friend’s recommendation and decided to stay here. The view from the Room and the open-air bath was amazing, and that alone made me very satisfied. Both the Room and the baths were thoroughly cleaned, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The private open-air bath and dining in a private room also allowed me to relax, which was wonderful. Towels were freely available in the women’s open-air bath. These days, most Onsen or Hotels provide only a minimal towel set, but since I used the baths several times during my stay, I truly appreciated this service. The staff were kind as well, and overall I was extremely satisfied with everything. If I had to mention one small disappointment: dinner was very delicious and generously portioned, but there were several times when I couldn’t understand what was being explained about the dishes. Also, the timing of the main grilled dish felt a bit off—it was served as just meat after we had already finished both rice and all other dishes—so I wondered if that timing was intentional. It made me hope that Japan’s uniquely attentive hospitality and services will not be lost. That said, everyone’s warm service and thoughtful attention were truly excellent. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here while sightseeing in Hagi City. After strolling through Hagi’s historic streets, we enjoyed kawara soba, pudding, and fried dishes until it was time to check in. When we arrived at the Hotel and opened the window, we could see the Sea of Japan, and the sound of the waves was soothing. The meal portions were very satisfying. The dishes were so gorgeous and wonderful that you might even wonder if you can finish them all. After dinner, we saw information about a private Onsen in our Room, made a Reservation at the front desk, and headed to the private Onsen. *Please note: preparation for the private Onsen takes about two hours, so it may be best to make your Reservation fairly early. This Onsen is a sodium chloride–calcium spring with slightly salty water as its distinctive feature. The Onsen is a little distance away, but we highly recommend trying the private Onsen as well.

We stayed here for our elementary school-aged daughter’s birthday trip. She requested a buffet, so we looked for a place with a menu that both kids and adults could enjoy, and this is where we ended up. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes featuring local ingredients, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Not only that, but check-in and check-out were smooth, the welcome service was excellent, and the playroom—clean and well stocked with plenty of activities—was always lively with guests. The Onsen was slightly lukewarm, which was perfect for our family since we don’t like very hot baths. The staff kept a comfortable distance; there wasn’t much small talk, but whenever we asked something they responded very politely, which made our stay pleasant. The next day we took a walk through Sosenkyo Gorge right in front of the hotel. It was easy to access, and we were able to enjoy ourselves even after checking out. Thank you very much. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that the parking lot felt small for how busy it gets; when larger cars line up, getting in and out can be difficult. It would be even more comfortable if it could be expanded or improved.

Just a short walk to Fugan Canal Kansui Park. Also close to the Toyama Glass Art Museum. And super close to Toyama Station! Perfect for sightseeing with Toyama Station as your base! The Hotel itself is clean and there’s nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

As last year, you kindly prepared a train-view Room as requested, and my son was absolutely delighted (he was thrilled to see the Meitetsu trains from the hallway as well). The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, and breakfast offered a good variety. Although there is no large public bath Facility, we found it comfortable and had a pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Overall, it was comfortable. The bath on the 7th floor had a fairly lukewarm tub, which was great because soaking in it after the hotter tub let us enjoy a longer time without overheating. On the other hand, the bath on the 1st floor has only four washing stations. While there are multiple tubs, most are so small that they barely fit one or two people, so I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you visit on a quiet day or specifically want to try several small baths. Meals (both breakfast and dinner) changed between the first and second night, so even with a Multiple Night Stay we didn’t get bored. You can enjoy many different dishes in small portions, and there’s also a special, creative feel to them. Everything was tasty, but not so impressive that it’s worth setting your expectations too high. The fish dishes were average; the meat dishes were very good. It was also nice that you can order Fukushima sake and other drinks for an additional fee. All staff were warm and welcoming. The Room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We could see nature through large windows, and the amenities/Facility were well equipped: a large desk with a sturdy chair, a powerful hair dryer, a full-length mirror (stand mirror), tea and coffee, etc. However, it was disappointing that the desk drawer hit the chair armrests making it hard to pull up close to the desk, and that the light on the stand mirror had dead batteries. Since we stayed during Obon season there were many families with children, so it may not suit those looking for a quiet adults-only atmosphere. Also, since it said “no cleaning unless requested” for Multiple Night Stay guests we didn’t ask for anything—but staff still entered our Room to replace amenities without warning us first. This part of their guidance is unclear. There are hardly any shops nearby such as convenience stores, so it’s not ideal if you plan to sightsee only in the immediate area. It seems better suited either for going out toward the station area or for relaxing at this Accommodation. We didn’t use it ourselves, but they also appear to offer a free Shuttle Service bus to another affiliated Onsen.

From the elevated walkway outside the East Exit on the 2nd floor of Takasaki Station, I could spot the colorful neon sign for “HOTEL123,” so I found my way there without getting lost. Since I’m terrible with directions and arrived late at night, I might not have made it there so smoothly without that sign. Even though it was late, the front desk staff kindly explained the room key and Facilities, which made check-in feel reassuring. There was a convenience store about a 3-minute walk away, so I could pick up a late-night snack. That said, there was also a light-snack vending machine on the same floor as the front desk, which seemed handy if you just want something small. The Room does feel its age, but it was thoroughly cleaned and spotless—nothing to complain about. Having a large public bath where you can stretch out and soak was especially appreciated after long-distance travel. (As others have mentioned in their Reviews, it is on the smaller side, but still more than sufficient.) The water temperature may come down to preference, but it could be slightly hotter. The drink bar next to the front desk had an impressive selection—I was surprised they even offered consommé soup and miso soup. Being able to get both fluids and salt from soups may be part of their consideration for preventing heat exhaustion. Breakfast is included for free so I didn’t expect much, but it exceeded expectations by far: white rice, several kinds of bread, and multiple Japanese- and Western-style side dishes. I was very satisfied. This Hotel offers thoughtful service that anticipates guests’ needs despite its reasonable price point, and I’d like to stay here again next time I visit Takasaki.

From welcome to farewell, the service was attentive and truly impressive. No matter where we were in the building, the staff noticed everything and took excellent care of us.\nOcean views from every Facility—the Room, the large public bath, and the lounge with complimentary drinks.\nWe also recommend taking a walk down the hill to Mihama Cape.\nThe ocean view from the outdoor lounge was in a perfect location. We relaxed with coffee while listening to the waves until sunset. Thank you very much.

The guest rooms have been renovated and are now more user-friendly than before. The vending machines in the building have been removed, so you’ll need to buy drinks at a convenience store and store them in the in-room refrigerator. One complimentary bottle of mineral water is provided. This Hotel is conveniently located near the station, well cleaned, and a comfortable place to stay with peace of mind. The room was clean and very nice. There were restaurants and eateries nearby, all within walking distance. The breakfast was also delicious. I would like to use it again if I have the chance.

We stayed here for sightseeing. We thought it was a Resort Hotel mainly for golf, but it was also a great Hotel to enjoy for sightseeing. The large public bath and open-air bath were at just the right temperature and very relaxing. Dinner featured excellent dishes, plus obanzai, and we were satisfied because we chose the all-you-can-drink option with sake, shochu, and beer. The breakfast buffet was also outstanding. The front desk staff were friendly and fun, and we made wonderful memories.

We stayed here to enjoy swimming at Shirarahama Beach. Before check-in, they let us use the changing room and paid lockers, and we reached Shirarahama Beach in just a few minutes on foot. They also have an air pump for float rings, of course. After swimming, we could rinse off the sand with the outdoor warm-water shower and then head straight to the Onsen, which was great. Both the Room and the Facility were clean, and there were free drinks available throughout the property—we enjoyed them after bathing and while waiting for the elevator. The plum soda was delicious. The buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was tasty. It was also nice that freshly cooked steak and tempura were brought directly to our table. Since our buffet time slot was later, we were able to go see the sunset at Engetsuto Island before dinner. Even after checkout, they offered parking for 1,000 yen, and told us we could use the paid lockers—and even use the baths after 2:00 PM—so it was wonderful to be able to enjoy an Onsen after coming back from the beach before heading home. If you’re going swimming at the beach, this place is absolutely “Musashi”! It was that good. All of the staff were kind, and it made for a truly great trip. Thank you very much.

I visited after a long time. I could only book the Connect Twin before, but since it was a weekday, I was able to stay in the Wide View Twin again. The large windows offering expansive views of the sea and city were wonderful! The Room also had a massage chair. The public bath was as great as ever, providing a relaxing experience. The shampoo and other amenities were different from before, but they didn’t cause any dryness or irritation, which was reassuring. There was also a Refa hair dryer available. Please note that there is no sauna for women in the morning. Breakfast offers a choice between Japanese and Western set meals, with unlimited refills of salad, rice, bread, coffee, etc., making it very satisfying. It seemed like most guests chose the Japanese set meal; I opted for the Western one and appreciated that freshly grilled sausages were brought to my table when they ran out initially. The Himi Udon noodles were also delicious! Parking is convenient if you arrive early enough—you can park on Hotel’s 1st floor or at the flat lot across from it. Even if those are full, the municipal parking isn’t too far away either. It was an excellent stay with great value for money and left me feeling very satisfied overall. The staff provided exceptionally pleasant service throughout my visit. Oh yes—the complimentary coffee service on the 1st floor is much appreciated! Because of this amenity, having only powdered tea in Room wasn’t an issue at all. Thank you very much!

I have stayed here many times. Among the Onsen in Zao, the water quality is excellent, and Tsuruya’s baths suit me perfectly. There are also four types of private baths, so you can relax and enjoy them at your own pace. The food is incredibly delicious—every meat dish is generous in portion size and so tasty that you’ll want to eat it again right away. This time I had the Zao beef steak; it was very tender and wonderful with a variety of flavors such as lemon butter and wasabi. I will definitely visit again. A Multiple Night Stay is also recommended.

While the interior color scheme may be a matter of personal preference, it was a good Hotel.

The location was excellent, the property was thoroughly cleaned, and the service was very polite. I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

This price was a great deal with next-day passport included. The Room was spacious and nice, but it was a bit disappointing to find hair in the washbasin.

We slept comfortably even as a couple! Breakfast was healthy, and the unique menu felt fresh and different from anywhere else. If I could make one request, I’d love to have options like natto or eggs. There were also various complimentary drinks available during our stay, which was perfect for a coffee lover like me. Thank you very much.

We stopped by on our way back from visiting a family grave at Mount Koya. This was our second stay, and the Onsen was especially relaxing—we truly enjoyed the ocean view right in front of us. The meals were delicious, and we were very happy with the complimentary drinks service in the lounge that started this year. If we have the chance, we would love to visit again for a third or fourth time.

The Hotel staff were very kind, and thanks to them I had a very comfortable stay in Okayama. The breakfast restaurant offered delicious dishes and a wonderful view, so I’m glad I chose the breakfast-included plan.
