We stayed for three nights with our pet. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, which was very helpful. The bathroom was spacious, and we had a comfortable stay. We would love to stay again.

The owner was very kind. The Room was simple and clean. There was Wi-Fi, and a convenience store nearby, so we could relax. We were told there might be train noise and vibrations, but it didn’t bother us. When we contacted them about check-out, they kindly asked if the train noise and vibrations were okay and whether we had been able to relax. The owner was thoughtful until the very end. We would like to stay again.

There are very few Business Hotels in Yamashiro Onsen. Thanks to this Hotel, I was able to stay at an affordable price. I really appreciate that breakfast is free. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the bath facilities were perfectly adequate for a business stay. The amenities are well stocked, which is a welcome service for women. Free tickets to the nearby public bath were provided, which I thought was a great service. You can also take your preferred shampoo and other items from those provided by the Hotel. The lighting in the Room has an adjustment that can get extremely bright—200 points. Doing office work in a dim Room is tough, so I felt they really understand what guests need. Next time I come to Yamashiro Onsen for work, I will stay here again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your hospitality. We stayed here on a girls’ trip. Each of us booked our own Room. Everything was handled with great care, and we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was also excellent. The Accommodation is close to the station, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby, such as izakayas, so we had no trouble finding meals. In the underground area of the station, souvenir shops were open from 9:00 a.m. in the morning as well. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. This time I made a Reservation for a higher-grade Room than last time. I simply love the design. The bed is large, and the whole space is incredibly relaxing. The location is in a love hotel district, but once you’re inside the Room, it doesn’t feel like that at all. I’ll definitely stay again. From here are the weak points: If you don’t like Tempur-style memory foam beds, your body might start to ache a bit. Even just watching TV, you sink into it, so it’s a little hard to turn over. I also noticed sound carrying in the Room, stains on the shoji screens, and pilling on the loungewear. It’s generally easy because there’s minimal contact with staff, but at checkout, when I got off the elevator and passed by the entrance staff member, they said nothing. I felt they could at least say “Good morning.” Only after completing checkout at the machine did they finally say “Thank you.”

I’ve stayed here so many times I’ve lost count. The best part is how spotless everything is. The owner and staff are also the best—always so pleasant and welcoming. It’s within walking distance of the remote island terminal, bus terminal, shopping, and restaurants, and there’s a bus stop nearby—everything is convenient. Even as an 83-year-old traveling alone, I feel no anxiety at all. They welcome me with a real “welcome home” feeling. A very friendly guesthouse.

Aoki Ryokan is a charming blend of Western and Japanese styles, with its blue roof and distinctive design—an Accommodation that gave me a great feeling even before I stepped inside. Fresh flowers were casually arranged throughout, the floors were spotless, and everything was impeccably clean. Perhaps because it is an old Ryokan, the atmosphere felt wonderfully balanced and calm. I usually suffer from insomnia when staying away from home, but here I felt completely at ease and slept very deeply—something that surprised even me. I also enjoyed listening to the proprietress’s stories (including one about Kunio Inatani, a pioneer of skiing in Japan) and savoring meals filled with mountain vegetables. It was truly relaxing both physically and mentally. As this is a historic Ryokan, old tools once used are also displayed; I was especially struck by the large saw used to cut ice from Lake Onuma, which made me imagine how demanding that work must have been at the time. I stayed here after being captivated by the night-view photos of the Onsen. Since this was a family trip with small children, I wasn’t expecting a luxury Ryokan, but because it’s located where you can take in a sweeping view of Toyama City (and even across to Imizu City), I never got tired of the scenery—sunrise, sunset, and night. Honestly, this location is truly one of a kind and priceless; it was far better than staying at some mediocre high-end Ryokan. I’ll upload my clumsy photos, but in person it’s 10 or 20 times more impressive. On the way to the Onsen there is a corridor explaining the history of the Kureha Hills, and I could really feel how much care and affection the staff have for this place and for this Hotel. The Facility is certainly Showa-era in style, but that actually made me feel even more attached to it. I felt genuinely happy to have discovered—and stayed at—this kind of Hotel. I also want to mention the breakfast buffet. Above all, I was amazed at how delicious the rice was. That wonderful white rice with miso soup and grilled fish in the morning—along with sides like okra and vinegared dishes—was something I truly enjoyed. Depending on where you’re going, if you plan to visit Toyama City or nearby Imizu City or Takaoka City, this is definitely a great choice. My kids absolutely loved Kodomo Mirai-kan at Taikoyama Land, so we’ll probably go back to Toyama next year—and when we do, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again. We used this place like a vacation rental. Since we visited Asahidake for hiking and Asahiyama Zoo, we chose this location as it was conveniently in between. There are supermarkets and drugstores nearby, making it easy to shop for groceries and daily necessities. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, making it very convenient and comfortable to use. Additionally, the furniture was lovely, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay.

I used it after the event at the dome. It's a bit of a walk from Tenjin Subway Station, but not too far and within walking distance. There are coin parking and convenience stores nearby, and it was close to Oyafuko Street. It was a plan with a ReFa hairdryer and amenities, which was very nice! I was able to spend comfortably in a cute room. I added a breakfast bento, but the rice was too soft for my taste. Sorry for being picky. Other than that, I was very satisfied, so I would like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

We stayed at this accommodation because my wife and I love baths, and we were excited to stay at a place with a unique bath and ocean view! The room with an ocean view was stylishly decorated in a tropical style. It was impeccably clean, giving off a very fresh feeling. The view of the ocean from the room was stunning—an unbeatable location! The cypress-scented bathtub with high-quality hot spring water left both my wife and me completely satisfied. On that chilly day, it warmed us up perfectly. We chose the dinner-included plan, which featured sashimi served on a boat platter, domestic beef steak, and beef stew—all of which were delicious. The beef stew was exceptional! I was especially impressed by the texture of the sauce and the tenderness of the meat—it rivaled or even surpassed my favorite Imperial Hotel's beef stew! The breakfast, including freshly baked bread and scrambled eggs, was also delightful. The friendly owner made our stay comfortable and worry-free. This is definitely an accommodation we would love to visit again!

With its historic ambiance, carefully prepared meals, and relaxing moments spent gazing out at the garden, it was a truly soothing stay.

After getting off the expressway and driving through town, we arrived while watching people fishing for ayu in the Oi River flowing alongside the road. At reception, we paid the Accommodation Tax and the dog fee in cash, then moved to our Room. The owner kindly explained how to use everything in detail. It’s a small but beautifully renovated riverside one-story private rental house, and this time we chose the bring-your-own-ingredients BBQ plan. The Accommodation also has a resident Shiba Inu “greeter” and a gorgeous cat who welcomed us—the cat even walked with us to our door. The kitchen was fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, dishes, pots, and cutlery, so all we needed to bring were seasonings and ingredients. For dogs, they provided a crate, toilet tray, pee pads, deodorizing spray, lint roller (sticky cleaner), and water bowl—so as long as you bring food for your dog(s), you’re all set. You can park right in front of the house, which made unloading luggage easy. We changed into swimsuits and headed to the river right in front of the Room with our two dogs. The high that day was 26°C (30°C in Osaka), so it felt a bit chilly for swimming; our dogs started shivering so we went back inside pretty quickly. We’d love to try again next year. In the evening we had a BBQ in the garden. The staff handled both lighting the fire and cleaning up afterward, which was very reassuring. There aren’t any tourist spots or shops nearby around this Accommodation, but it’s quiet with no traffic—just relaxing sounds of the river and evening cicadas. Thank you very much! Looking forward to staying again next month.

Above all, the staff were wonderful—everyone was so kind and welcoming! They also provided detailed answers to our questions about the surrounding area, which was a great help. Although the Facility is old, it was very well cleaned. The broth in the small hot pot at dinner was delicious.

I visited again for the first time in a while, and once again I was reminded how much I love this Accommodation—the Onsen suits my skin perfectly. This time, I stayed in the long-admired Hounenmushi. Surrounded by nature, I was able to enjoy the Onsen quietly and at a leisurely pace.\nThe staff were also extremely courteous, which helped me relax even more. They kindly allowed me to tour the new building as well; it was wonderful, and I’m definitely considering staying there next time.\nIf Reservations could also be made through IKYU, that would make me very happy.

I didn’t have very high expectations until we actually stayed, but we were extremely satisfied traveling with our toddler (1 year and 2 months old). All the necessary baby items were provided, and they even supplied diapers as a complimentary service. Safety guards were properly placed on table corners and other areas, and even things like remote controls were individually sealed in antibacterial film—thoughtful details that made us feel at ease. At first I wondered if the Room might be a bit small, but there was no wasted space. The futon area (raised platform), living space, and the outdoor open-air bath flowed seamlessly together. Because you can see into the Room while bathing, I could relax in the bath while keeping an eye on my sleeping child. The highlight of any trip is the food, and both dinner and breakfast were served in-room. Everything was delicious. Unlike many Ryokan breakfasts that are unnecessarily large and end up getting cold, ours was served warm with delicate flavors—we were truly satisfied. They also prepared child-friendly options such as softly cooked rice and a lightly seasoned clear soup. The meals were not only delicious but also safe for our child, so both parent and child could enjoy them. Our daughter doesn’t eat packaged toddler meals, but we could simply rinse pieces of grilled fish or simmered dishes from the adult meal in hot water before giving them to her—so we really appreciated being able to travel almost empty-handed. We would definitely stay again. I suspect most guests will return too, so it may become harder to get a Reservation. Highly recommended.

Located across from Mega Don Quijote, the upper floors of the multi-purpose commercial facility "Dogenzaka-dori" house the Hotel. Follow the pathway inside and you'll find a sign for the Hotel. The room is compact but cleverly designed, offering enough space to open suitcases comfortably. There’s a niche by the entrance that perfectly fits two suitcases, making your stay efficient and spacious. From reception to elevators and room interiors, artistic decor creates a stylish atmosphere. The reception staff were kind and accommodating with luggage storage requests. The room features twin beds, a table set for two, a large-screen TV, an air purifier, soft waffle-textured pajamas and bathrobes, as well as ample amenities like cleansing products and lotion. The bathroom includes a spacious bathtub combined with a shower area—conveniently designed like your own home bathroom—perfect for relaxation. Additional thoughtful services include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speakers, steamers, etc., ensuring comfort during your stay. Both toilet and sink areas are roomy—it’s hard to believe it’s only 25 square meters! Truly comfortable. With cafes, restaurants, and bars available within the Facility itself—you might wish you had more time to enjoy everything! Breakfast can be enjoyed at the restaurant buffet or through in-room dining for leisurely mornings; an American breakfast was around 2,500 yen. Even coffee cups are beautifully designed—with Hachiko illustrations on saucers adding charm. Fresh bread rolls along with salads and fruits were delicious! Conveniently located along Bunkamura Street near cafes/restaurants/convenience stores; elevator access requires key cards while peephole covers on doors ensure safety. Compact yet incredibly comfortable—a convenient Hotel perfect for any traveler!

A luxurious experience surrounded by vintage furniture in a spacious Room. Even though it was midsummer and hot outside, the temperature inside was comfortable with low humidity despite the absence of air conditioning, which was truly impressive. The fresh and clear air made the stay incredibly pleasant. It was an amazing opportunity to experience living in an ideal Room like this.
