My spouse and I stayed here on a business trip from Osaka to Kanazawa. The front desk and restaurant staff were very kind, and their service was excellent. However, the room was small, and since we shared a double bed, it felt quite cramped and we didn’t get enough sleep. In hindsight, we should have booked a twin room. Breakfast, afternoon tea time, and the ochazuke time made up for it. We would like to stay again.

I stayed here as a solo traveler during the October holiday weekend. The room was spotless and beyond reproach. Personally, I loved sitting on the terrace chair, gazing at Sakurajima and watching the ever-changing sunset scenery until I lost track of time. The large public bath offered a wide variety of baths to enjoy, and the meals were delicious with no complaints—I had a wonderful hotel stay overall. The only disappointing point was when I filled the open-air bath on the balcony: perhaps due to mineral sediment or ash, gray sand-like particles made the water cloudy, and I didn’t feel like getting in. That’s the only reason I’m deducting one star. Even so, it was a very satisfying stay. I would like to return when I’m in the area again.

I gifted my mother a stay here for her 75th birthday. She’s a real foodie who’s always trying restaurants, and she came home excited, saying, “The restaurant was simply amazing!” and “Dinner was especially outstanding!” They even celebrated with a dessert plate, and I’m truly grateful to all the staff. She also thoroughly enjoyed the snacks placed around the property and the great variety of books—making it the perfect celebration. This isn’t the kind of place that serves flashy dishes or relies on lavish luxury ingredients, so I hesitated a bit about giving it to my elderly mother—but it turned out to be exactly right for her! She said, “I was tired of the typical meals you find everywhere, so this was really wonderful,” “I hope more people learn how special it is,” and “It makes total sense that there are many international guests. It’s a truly rare restaurant where you can genuinely experience Japanese culture.” Looks like my choice as her daughter was spot on (lol). *On the other hand, if it’s not your style, it really won’t be—so please keep that in mind if you’re giving this as a gift!!!

The view from the room was amazing. (The windows were so large that a lot of sunlight came in, so even in October it was hot and we turned on the air conditioning.) The open-air bath was spacious, and we could really relax. We also appreciated the complimentary ice pops and fruit vinegar after bathing! The food was delicious, and we especially liked the broth in the matsutake mushroom and pike conger eel dobin-mushi. The beef cooked on a ceramic plate was a bit tough for my 84-year-old mother (we should have taken it off a little earlier). The staff’s polite service was also very pleasant. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that there wasn’t a beer vending machine.

I always look forward to the seasonal parfaits, and whenever a new one comes out, I can’t help but come back. This time it was the grape parfait and the Shine Muscat parfait. I went for a drive with a friend from Yamanashi, then met up with my husband at the Hotel, and I checked in from the evening. I relaxed in the Onsen and slept soundly. For breakfast, I had my usual favorite cheese omelet. It was truly delicious—I keep wondering how they make an omelet that tastes this good. And then came the grape parfait. I shared it with my husband’s Shine Muscat parfait and enjoyed both. They were beautifully presented—like works of art—and absolutely delicious. I had them last year too and never forgot them, so I was happy to have them again this year. The staff’s smiles always make me feel at ease as well. I can’t wait to see what the next parfait will be!

We were very satisfied! The welcome roasted marshmallows— my mother really enjoyed roasting and eating them. On our morning walk, we were shown many wonderful spots around Urabandai, and we were able to spend a truly relaxing time. Of course, we also enjoyed the local cuisine. In particular, the cleanliness throughout the property was excellent. All of the staff were very pleasant as well. We would definitely like to visit again.

Thank you for taking care of us during our summer trip to Shikoku. Before dinner, we were able to watch a live demonstration of straw-seared bonito, and it was truly delicious. The bath was also spacious and very relaxing. We didn’t know until we arrived, but this is a historic and prestigious Accommodation, and every staff member who assisted us was courteous and attentive. We booked the guided walking stay Plan, and the next day we visited ponds associated with Ryoma Sakamoto while walking. The explanations were thorough, making it a truly memorable experience.

I stayed here as my base for a 3-day, 2-night trip. The location is extremely convenient, with direct access to a Minatomirai Line station, and it’s also a big plus that major attractions such as Yokohama Chinatown, the Red Brick Warehouse, and Yamashita Park are within walking distance. I booked a Room with panoramic views of Yokohama Port, and since there was availability, I was upgraded free of charge. The Facility was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable—I was able to relax and recover from travel fatigue. This Hotel is highly recommended for anyone visiting the Minatomirai area.

This Hotel offers excellent value for money, and I always stay here whenever I visit Tokyo. Once again, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, the attentive yet unobtrusive service, and the convenient location.

The staff’s consistently warm, cheerful hospitality was so pleasant that it made us smile as well—an inn like that. We stayed with a baby, and they kindly helped by carrying our luggage at check-in and guiding us to seats, which was a big help. Even though we didn’t request anything in particular, they had already prepared a diaper disposal bin and baby soap in our room, which we really appreciated. The in-room sandals were slightly small, but when they noticed we were having trouble walking in them, they immediately offered to replace them—something that truly surprised us. At mealtimes our child got noisy and caused some inconvenience, but the staff never showed any displeasure and kindly suggested various ways to help calm things down, which meant a lot to us. The room was clean and spacious, and we were able to relax and enjoy quality time together as a family.

I chose this property for its location and was very satisfied. If I have the opportunity to visit Tachikawa again, I would like to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you very much for a comfortable stay the other day. The Room was very clean, and the staff were courteous and attentive. I was extremely satisfied and would love to stay again. There is just one point I noticed. The TV in the guest Room seems to have a maximum volume limit set at 25, which was perfectly fine for regular TV broadcasts. However, when playing streaming services such as Netflix, the audio is relatively quiet to begin with, so even at the maximum of 25 it did not become loud enough, and I found it difficult to hear clearly. I understand that setting a volume limit is likely out of consideration for other Rooms, so I think it is generally fine as it is. That said, if a guest requests to watch streaming content, allowing the volume limit to be raised slightly only during that stay (if possible) might make things more comfortable for many guests. This is just one suggestion, but I would appreciate your consideration. Although there was one small concern regarding the Facility equipment, overall it was still a very satisfying stay. Thank you again in advance.

The Onsen temperature was just right, and the Room was clean and well maintained, so we had a very comfortable stay. The view from the Room was also great. The meals were delicious, and thank you to the staff member who looked after us for being so kind to our children. We would like to stay again when we visit Awaji Island. Next time, we’d love to come in a different season.

With its convenient location right by the East Exit of Kitakami Station, I stayed on the top (9th) floor this time. The room was new and clean, spacious for a single, and well designed with an easy-to-use desk and chair and a thoughtfully planned layout. The Hotel also offers welcome drinks, a choice of amenities, and a large public bath, making the stay comfortable overall. Laundry Facilities are available on both the 2nd and 6th floors; it was convenient to check machine availability from the room, and the PIN-code system was helpful as well. On the other hand, they can be fully occupied during peak times, and it would be even more convenient if cashless payment were available. This time I chose a Plan with dinner and breakfast included. Since there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance around Kitakami Station’s East Exit area, choosing dinner included was definitely the right call. Being able to have all meals within the Hotel is a major advantage. Breakfast featured items such as Kitakami natto, roast beef, and BALMUDA toasters, and the overall atmosphere and quality were good. However, yogurt had run out by around 7:30 a.m., and I felt that adding more variety to the side dishes and improving the color balance of the salad selection would make it even better. While there are some minor areas for improvement, overall it was a very satisfying stay including the room, large public bath, in-house Facilities, and meals. If I have another chance to stay near Kitakami Station, I would like to use this Hotel again.

We stayed for two nights from 8/13 in a special Room with a private pool. We have stayed at nearly 10 Hotels across Okinawa (the main island, Miyako, and Ishigaki), and this was the best by far. Our children also said it was their No. 1. The Room itself was wonderful, and the cleanliness and quality of the meals were excellent as well. There was a small spot of dirt in the pool (something most people wouldn’t even notice), but our eldest daughter, who is very particular about cleanliness, became concerned. When we decided to contact the front desk, the General Manager personally came to take care of the cleaning, which made us feel sorry for troubling you. Thank you very much again for your kindness. We expect our next visit will be sometime next year or later, but we look forward to staying with you again.

The Hotel staff were wonderful, and the food and baths were excellent!

It was very comfortable.

It was my first mother-and-daughter trip in a long time with my daughter who lives in Tokyo. From the moment we left our luggage before check-in, the staff were wonderful. When I checked in and looked hot, a male staff member quickly brought me a cold wet towel. The staff we passed in the hallway, the staff who offered welcome drinks in the first-floor lobby, and the pregnant female staff member who guided us at breakfast (I wonder if she has started her maternity leave?)—everyone was so kind. The breakfast was delicious no matter what we chose, and the kitchen staff were also truly pleasant. We were completely satisfied with everything. The Room was clean and showed great taste. We rested comfortably. Perhaps because it’s not a large property, it was very quiet and relaxing. The beautifully arranged fresh flowers at the entrance were also wonderful. It became a truly enjoyable trip to Kyoto. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Although we had to stay unexpectedly due to the rain, we were able to spend our time comfortably. Having a microwave in the Room was very helpful. There was also a charger in the Room, and we were satisfied with the complimentary breakfast, as all of the staff were very pleasant. There was also a coffee machine—everything was well provided for.

The parking lot is right in front of the Hotel, and the Room was spacious enough. The staff were very welcoming, and we had a comfortable stay. Thank you.
