Visiting Sendai for the first time in 20 years, I chose to stay at Sakan again, a place full of fond memories.\nThe Onsen and Facility areas have been beautifully renovated, and amenities like ReFa hair dryers made the stay extremely comfortable. What impressed me most was the half-buffet. The beef tongue steak and sea urchin I selected as the main dishes were outstanding—being able to enjoy both meat and seafood so luxuriously left me completely satisfied. The buffet also offered a wide variety of options, with many live-kitchen stations, which made it wonderful to enjoy freshly prepared dishes. There was also an excellent selection of drinks and desserts, keeping me excited throughout.\nIt had been 20 years since my last visit, but it turned into an amazing experience that far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely love to return!

This was my first time staying for a Multiple Night Stay. The front desk staff were pleasant and made me feel at ease. The location is very convenient for getting around for both business and sightseeing, and it was helpful that there are many convenience stores and restaurants between the station and the Hotel, as well as nearby. The Room was clean, and the amenities included all the essentials, so I was able to stay comfortably. I also appreciated having green tea bags provided, which was nice for taking a break in the Room. If I had to be picky, I would have been even happier if there were other tea options or coffee as well. Overall, I was very satisfied with the location and price this time, so I would like to stay again.

Every time Comiket came around, I really wanted to stay here, but I could never get a Reservation and ended up booking other nearby Hotels. This time, I finally got to stay. It was close to the waiting line, and the room size and Facility were more than enough if you’re just coming back to sleep. It’s not enough to lower my rating, but there was a light layer of dust on the humidifier, so it would be good to wipe it down. I hope I can book again someday. Thank you very much.

I stayed at your Accommodation in Kinosaki before, and this time I stayed in Shirahama. The Room was spacious, and the children were very happy. At dinner, a staff member kindly offered to take a family photo for us, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed here for a family trip for the first time in a while. It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as friends had recommended if we were staying in Dogo. As many Reviews mention, the location is truly excellent. It’s close to Dogo Onsen Honkan, and it was an easy walk—enjoying shopping along the arcade—to Dogo Onsen Station and the Karakuri Clock. We had informed them in advance that we would use the parking lot, and upon arrival they kindly guided us there, which made it very easy to understand. Our Room was on the 7th floor with a great view over Dogo town; our son relaxed while looking out at the scenery the whole time. Thank you for arranging such a nice view. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and everything was delicious. A staff member in training quickly noticed and cleared empty plates, so even with four of us we could keep plenty of space on the table. We were especially happy to be able to try tai-meshi. The bath—praised by my family as well (“I’m glad you chose an Accommodation with an open-air bath!”)—was a comfortable size. The open-air bath felt wonderful with the night breeze; we could look up at the sky and unwind, which really eased our daily fatigue. In the morning there were fewer people as well, so we could soak slowly. The relaxation area prepared outside the bath (the water was delicious) also had chairs by the window with a panoramic view. It was great being able to enjoy both nighttime and morning views of Dogo. Before our stay I emailed some questions; they replied quickly and explained everything carefully, which helped us feel at ease. If I had one small suggestion, it would be that an exhaust fan in the toilet inside the guest Room would have been nice. Overall, everyone on staff was very pleasant and we were very satisfied. Our trip to Dogo Onsen became a wonderful memory thanks to choosing Chaharu. Thank you very much.

We chose Kawayu Onsen as a place to stay while traveling from Abashiri to Lake Akan, and it turned out to be absolutely the right choice. The location is especially great. Until we stayed here, I didn’t realize Mount Io was this close, but after checkout we arrived there in just a few minutes by car. Since Abashiri and Lake Akan are quite far apart, I highly recommend an itinerary that includes one night in Kawayu Onsen along the way. We were also very satisfied with the Onsen. When I used the open-air bath, there happened to be no one else there, so I could relax and enjoy it at my own pace. The atmosphere of the open-air bath with its large rocks was wonderful as well. What exceeded my expectations most this time was the dinner buffet. There was an amazing variety of dishes, and I especially enjoyed plenty of crab legs (lol). Starting with “Mount Io Steamed,” inspired by Mount Io, there were many distinctive Hokkaido-style dishes. The red-fleshed melon and milk soft-serve ice cream were also delicious and memorable. The food was replenished properly throughout, so overall we were extremely satisfied with the meal. That said, for us the dinner time slot felt a bit short. It looked like there were enough seats available, so we would have been even happier with a schedule that allowed more time to enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace. Even so—considering the quality, variety, and replenishment—I’d still give dinner full marks. On the other hand, we found the lounge a little disappointing. There was a wide selection of alcohol and many guests seemed to enjoy it, but since I don’t drink alcohol I didn’t have many opportunities to use it. When I stopped by at night, most of the snacks and light bites were already gone and hadn’t been refilled; it would be great if there were more sweets and light snacks available for non-drinkers too. The guest room was spacious; while parts of the building do feel somewhat dated, everything around the bed area was arranged in a practical way—and being able to charge devices right by the pillow was convenient. The Hotel itself is large as well, and shared spaces like the lobby feel open and airy. Outside the Hotel there are also small spots where you can take in an Onsen-town atmosphere on foot. This time we only took photos, but if you have extra time it could be nice for a stroll—though since majestic Mount Io is so close by, I definitely recommend visiting that too.

This was my third stay. It was my first time visiting in summer, and the lush greenery outside the window was very soothing. There are many international staff members, but everyone works hard and it never feels out of place. This time, I ordered cake and coffee to go from the café lounge, and I really appreciated how a Japanese staff member carefully packed the cup in the cake box so it wouldn’t tip over—such thoughtful attention to detail. I’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

The walk from the station is safe, and the location is convenient. It was bright and clean, which I appreciated. There is a large public bath where you can relax and unwind. Even solo female travelers can feel at ease. If the timing works out, you can also use the massage chair. I made a Reservation at short notice the day before, but it was cheaper than other sites with a discount, and payment was on-site, so I felt comfortable using it.

I stayed for two nights in August and did not experience any major inconveniences. The meals were delicious. The Onsen was spacious, and I was able to relax and enjoy it. The staff were also very helpful. There was only one designated smoking area outside, but it was not particularly inconvenient.

The views are outstanding. The Onsen is spacious and includes an open-air bath; the spring water is a bit hot, so you can enjoy both. Meals are buffet-style, and the steak, soba noodles, and soft-serve ice cream were especially delicious. The Room is simple, and the bathroom area feels like a typical Business Hotel unit bath. I wanted a draft beer after the bath, but there was no such Facility in the lobby, so I bought canned beer from a vending machine. Satisfaction changes greatly depending on whether you can see the Northern Alps. I’d rate the facilities and Room as 3/5, but considering the price—about ¥30,000 on weekdays for two people with two meals—I’d give it 4/5 overall. With the Onsen and Northern Alps view, I was very satisfied. Choose a Room with a view on the 3rd floor or higher.

I gifted my 92-year-old mother an Onsen trip for her birthday. The accommodation had a very charming atmosphere, and the Onsen, with its high-concentration sulfur spring, was excellent. My elderly mother enjoyed soaking in the bath four times. The meals were also delicious. This time we stayed for just one night, but next time we hope to have a multiple night stay. The staff were kind and warmly welcomed us. We created wonderful memories. Thank you very much!

This time I wanted to try fishing at Kesennuma Port, so I stayed at this Accommodation because it’s close to the fishing spots. It’s located on a hill right in front of the port, with a great view. From the main entrance you can overlook all of Kesennuma Port, and it was such a refreshing place. What’s more, thanks to the very unique elevator tower, it was super convenient—I could get to the fish market on ground level in just 2–3 minutes. The building itself feels a bit retro and has a Showa-era vibe, so it may not be for everyone, but I found it very comfortable. What really impressed me was the night view of Kesennuma Port—and the sea urchin and hoya! The scenery completely changes from daytime; with the illumination it felt almost like a theme park. I was truly moved. I also enjoyed night fishing while taking in the lights—please do see it in person if you can. And the dinner served this time—sea urchin on its shell and hoya sashimi—was incredible. The sea urchin I had before at a Hotel in Minamisanriku was delicious too, but Kesennuma’s sea urchin is no joke! It had rich sweetness and umami and tasted amazing. The hoya sashimi may have been the best I’ve ever had. The ocean aroma and perfectly firm texture were irresistible for anyone who loves hoya. All staff were polite and very pleasant. Some seemed new, but their sincerity came through, and it made me feel this is a well-run Hotel. I suppose there’s no helping that some Facility areas are a bit old, but even taking that into account, I’d definitely like to stay again.

The location was great, and I also liked the calm atmosphere in the Room. If possible, I would have liked a clock—this was the first time I’ve stayed at a Business Hotel where there wasn’t one in the Room. Also, the shower room, toilet, and sink area were extremely small. Since it’s part of the Facility, I wonder if the space wasn’t properly considered at the design stage. It was a single Room, but it felt cramped, which was a bit disappointing.

I stayed in a Twin Room. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was convenient to check the crowd status of the large public bath and breakfast venue on the room's TV. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, which were plentiful and satisfying. Since I expect to visit Fukui frequently for business trips in the future, I would like to stay here again.

While the interior color scheme may be a matter of personal preference, it was a good Hotel.

The location is excellent, and the large public bath and carbonated spring are fantastic! Thanks to a complimentary upgrade, my stay was extremely comfortable. The staff’s hospitality is top-notch, and I’m very satisfied. It reminded me that this Hotel is a great-value classic. I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed in a Room with a private open-air bath. The large public bath had no windows and felt dark, so we didn’t end up using it, but the private open-air bath in the Room was more than enough to enjoy the Onsen. We would like to stay in the same Room again next time.

A relaxing accommodation located at the foot of Mt. Sanbe with a fantastic location. The price is reasonable, offering great satisfaction. The meals are diverse and exceptionally delicious. If given the chance, I would love to stay at this accommodation again. Thank you!

There is also a large public bath, and the Room is functional and comfortable.

This was our second stay, following last year. First of all, this is the best Hotel in every way. The breakfast buffet offers gentle, comforting dishes and is delicious. I’ve traveled to Okinawa 14 times, and Ifu’s BBQ is outstanding—No. 1. The bath was great, and above all, the view from the Room and the sunrise were also No. 1. I was able to recharge with wonderful energy every morning. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, it’s very convenient, and there’s a convenience store close by—also excellent. And this time, because a typhoon was approaching, we changed our schedule, and you kindly accommodated changes to the BBQ date as well; I truly appreciated your considerate support in many ways. As last year, the staff were pleasant and wonderful. It’s a Hotel that makes me want to come back twice or three times next year… For now, we’re planning to visit next June, so we look forward to seeing you then. It became the best Kumejima trip.
