I stayed with my puppy. This is the Hotel my previous dog loved. I had decided that our first overnight stay would be at this Hotel. It has been over a year since my previous dog passed away, and it was probably more than two years since our last stay. Even though it had been quite some time, thank you for your kind thoughtfulness toward my previous dog. You even prepared an offering meal for him (there was a small mistake in the kanji, but that just made us smile). At checkout, you also gave us an offering as well. I was so moved that I couldn’t stop crying. In fact, during our second stay with the puppy last month there was a small mix-up; when I wrote about it in a Review, you responded immediately and I truly appreciated it. I feel embarrassed that I quickly wrote a Review about my complaint, yet delayed writing this thank-you Review for what you did for my previous dog. I am very sorry. The hospitality and Facilities—everything—are wonderful at this Hotel. We will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

We visited with our dog to celebrate my parents’ 60th birthday. The staff were kind, and the Ryokan was welcoming to both people and dogs. We were very satisfied with the meals! The Room and the in-room bath were spacious and very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Warmly welcomed in the building next to a charming soba restaurant, I enjoyed Iya’s local culture and nature. Upon entering the Room, I immediately noticed the lush green view, the bath, and a massage chair. The bath was already filled so I could use it right away. They also explained how to use it and told me it takes 20 minutes to fill completely. I wanted to soak immediately, but since it was a season of strong sunlight, I waited until the sun slipped behind the mountains. The breeze was pleasant, and I relaxed in the Room. The next morning, I ran hot water for about 10 minutes and then kept it flowing as I bathed; the gentle sound of trickling water and the crisp air made it wonderfully quiet and atmospheric. The cuisine was refined local fare—perfected so that each dish tasted best at the moment you take your first bite. I enjoyed my meal slowly and peacefully in an irori (sunken hearth) dining Room. When I entered, salt-grilled river fish and “dekomawashi” were already skewered over the hearth, gently roasting. As I ate the first dishes while watching the irori right in front of me— “So this is how you place charcoal…” “The irori really warms you up…” “This is how far from the fire you set skewers…” —I found myself drifting into a world like old folk tales. It was such an enjoyable time. When they lifted the lid of the soba-rice porridge (zousui), its aroma rose beautifully, and its flavor on my palate was wonderful; I honestly thought, “I didn’t know zousui could be this delicious.” A bright, friendly staff member also adjusted one skewer’s angle midway while checking how it was cooking—and for that brief moment their gaze and hands looked like true craftsmanship. Both the dekomawashi and river fish were warm and perfectly plump. Every dish was timed impeccably; paired with sake, everything tasted excellent. Even though I felt completely full afterward, the soba at the end was so good that I thought, “I’m full—and yet it’s already gone.” By breakfast time the next morning my body felt refreshed and hungry again, so once more I truly enjoyed my meal. From check-in until seeing me off, I could feel their careful attention to timing in every detail. Thanks to that thoughtfulness, my stay was truly comfortable.

Our family of four stayed here. The children used Child Sharing Existing Bedding, and the staff kindly responded to our questions before our stay, including about the bed layout. Breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of amenities provided. At check-in we received children’s slippers and other items, which made the kids happy, but they were too small for our 6th grader. Also, it was a bit disappointing that there were only two towels per person and only two chairs.

The Facility in the guest room was excellent, the meals were very delicious, and above all, the service provided by the staff was outstanding, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I love the meals here and have returned several times. This time, I enjoyed the chef’s special kaiseki featuring splendid alfonsino, and truly savored it. Everything was delicious. The dishes were beautiful to look at as well, and I was reminded how Japanese cuisine lets you enjoy the seasons. I spent a relaxing, elegant holiday and felt completely recharged. This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. We stayed here for a family trip with my parents. At check-in, the staff explained the building while we enjoyed the beautiful garden view, which helped us understand the Accommodation even better. The welcome sweets and tea we were served were also delicious. As I am pregnant, I mentioned that I was avoiding caffeine, raw foods, and alcohol. They kindly switched the coffee prepared in our Room to decaf, provided non-caffeinated sword bean tea, and changed the tea served with meals to black soybean tea. I was truly impressed by their warm hospitality. Dinner was excellent as well. They even accommodated me with a separate menu, and I really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. Every dish was delicious, the portions were just right, and it was a wonderful meal overall. The private Onsen in our Room could be enjoyed 24 hours a day whenever we liked, which was fantastic. My parents seemed very satisfied too. This was our last family trip before our baby arrives, and we are truly glad we chose to stay here. Once things settle down, we would love to return and stay in a different Room as well.

We have a large public bath, and also many private baths. The private baths do not require a Reservation—use them anytime if available! You can check availability via QR code, which is very convenient. The semi-open-air baths are especially exciting. Baby amenities are also provided, so families with children can use them with peace of mind.

From the moment we boarded the elevator to the Ryokan from in front of Sounzan Station, it was an exciting experience. The Accommodation and all the staff welcomed us with a warm atmosphere, and everything—the Room, the carefully prepared meals, the Onsen, and the views—was wonderfully soothing. We were able to spend a slow, quiet, luxurious time. Thank you very much.

From the photos, I initially thought we would have to climb stairs to enter, but the building is designed so you can take an elevator down to the basement, which made our stay with my elderly mother easy and comfortable. The design is outstanding, and after entering you first arrive at the basement front desk and lounge—an exciting start that really builds anticipation. The Room was bright and open, with a very spacious bathroom; the sink area is separate and close to the bedroom, making it extremely convenient and comfortable overall. This is a Hotel I definitely want to return to.

Last time I only had breakfast, but after hearing great reviews from locals, I tried dinner for the first time—this time it was an oden set meal with braised pork. I noticed this last time as well: the ladle was left in the miso soup pot, which felt unhygienic. Also, the heat from the soup keeps the ladle hot, making it hard to hold and difficult to pour. Sorry for focusing so much on food—it's part of the joy of traveling, so I hope this is helpful. I took a detour to the mouth of the Tone River before checking in; Choshi Ohashi Bridge was truly impressive. The convenience store looks close but is actually a bit far, so it would be nice if there were vending machines inside offering light snacks and sweets. The sincerity of your front desk staff is truly one of a kind.

First of all, the meals were outstanding. I’ve had enohara fish before, but this was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted! They paid close attention to how we were doing during the meal, and the timing of each next dish was perfect. Everyone on the staff greeted us with smiles throughout our stay, which made us feel very comfortable. Thank you very much. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

Our dog weighs around 10 kg, so we really appreciated being able to walk him on a leash. The building is spacious, so we were able to relax without running into many other dogs. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The meat and fish were very fresh, with a wide variety of dishes—we were completely satisfied. Every staff member was kind and welcoming. We would love to stay here again if we have the chance. Thank you very much.

To avoid the rainy season and bears, I took a solo trip to Okinawa. I chose HIRAMATSU because I had great stays at their Atami and Kyoto properties. I arranged the spa and a Shuttle Service taxi in advance—I'm glad I did. Although it was before the end of the rainy season, it was perfectly clear with strong sunshine and heat, so I spent most of my time reading in my Room, occasionally enjoying the beautiful view from there. (Only a few groups seemed to be enjoying the pool.) I really like how HIRAMATSU designs their Rooms—chic and very functional. Having sunscreen provided was a big help. For dinner, I chose a course with smaller portions, which was more than enough for me. I also requested wine pairing and enjoyed the colorful dishes. On the second morning, breakfast was Japanese-style, which I appreciated since that's what I'm used to at home. The tuna with grated yam was delicious. At the spa, I booked a facial and head spa—it was pure bliss. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, and I could truly relax. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your warm hospitality. Thanks to the proprietress’s thoughtful care, we were able to forget our daily routine and enjoy a wonderfully relaxing time. Both the cuisine and the Onsen were excellent, and we felt refreshed in both body and mind. Above all, your heartfelt hospitality left a lasting impression on us. I love this Accommodation so much that I stay almost every month. This month, I stayed as a birthday treat for myself. We stayed here to celebrate both our wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday, hoping to enjoy Onsen and delicious cuisine with views of the sea and town. The scenery, food, and Onsen were wonderful, and we especially appreciated the excellent service from Mr./Ms. F. Friendly yet attentive and courteous, their explanations made the meal even more enjoyable—we truly loved every dish. On our way out, we also discussed our next Reservation. I stayed here for my birthday and wanted to treat myself a little. The Room was well kept, and above all, the meals were delicious (a bit generous in portion size, though). The best part was being able to enjoy freshly baked bread at breakfast. The view from the balcony also gave me time to forget everyday life. And most of all, the Hotel staff provided polished, kind, and courteous service that made me want to come back whenever I feel like treating myself again. Perfect in every way!!! It was a truly satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

Since guests remove their shoes at the entrance, the floors throughout the property are very clean. You can choose your preferred brands of shampoo, conditioner, face wash, etc., select from pillows of various heights and firmness levels, and there is a wide range of samue loungewear sizes. You can also take your favorite drinks—from alcohol to soft drinks—back to your Room. The Room layout is very practical, and no matter where I wiped with an alcohol wipe, there was absolutely no dirt. It was very comfortable. The bath had shower heads such as ReFa and Mirable. If there were more dinner menu options, it would be perfect.
