All the staff were very kind. My family of three stayed in the Room “Engetsu,” and it was spacious enough. The bath and dining area were on the same floor, so access was excellent. The bath was fully stocked—not only shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but also facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion—and the water had a wonderfully silky feel. The meals were outstanding as well. We enjoyed a relaxing sea bream feast in our Room. They even included beer as a complimentary service, and we were truly impressed by their thoughtful attention to detail. We had breakfast in the dining area; there was a great variety of side dishes, and everything was delicious too. When I visit Shirahama again, I would definitely like to stay at Akariya again.

This trip was to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. The Accommodation was very comfortable, and all the staff were kind and wonderfully attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious; they were a feast for the eyes as well, and the dashi was so soothing—it reminded me how great Japan is. They also kindly adjusted the portion sizes for us, and even prepared a bowl of sekihan (red rice) soup for her birthday, which made my mother happy throughout our stay. This may be minor, but what delighted her most was being able to walk barefoot because the hallways were tatami rather than having to wear slippers (at her age she seems afraid of walking in slippers). She also appreciated that the tabi socks worn with the yukata had non-slip grips, that the bath temperature was just right, and that there was a stool at the sink in our Room—she was very satisfied with these thoughtful details. It is also conveniently located in Arashiyama with plenty to see nearby, making it a truly wonderful Accommodation. I’m very happy that my mother enjoyed it so much—it became a memorable trip for me as well. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

I have stayed at around 20 Hotels in Kyoto so far. Among them, I consider Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Shijo Karasuma to be in the top tier. Despite being located in Shijo Karasuma, it features a sharp design and successfully creates a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I would like to stay here again next time.

I made a Reservation to unwind before the Obon holidays. I enjoyed a luxurious, unhurried stay—soaking in the in-room Onsen and doing nothing while gazing out at the forest. I’d love to visit again in another season.

Spending time surrounded by uncompromising, carefully curated interiors and decor was truly exceptional. On this trip, everyone was a beer lover, so we worried we might run out—but that concern was unnecessary. The taste was outstanding as well. Also, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where four dogs can stay like ours, so in that sense too it’s a very valuable Accommodation. As expected, there were a lot of insects in summer, so next time we’ll stay outside the summer season. We brought every kind of strong insect repellent in advance, including hangable repellents for the balcony, but in the end the mosquito coils provided as Facility amenities worked best. Since I really can’t handle insects, this was a huge help. Thank you very much.

We chose this Accommodation for a 3-night Multiple Night Stay because it can host three pets, has parking, and the hinoki bath was the deciding factor. During the day, we left our pets at a nearby pet house and fully enjoyed sightseeing in Kyoto by rental bicycle. Coming back to the Accommodation and relaxing in the hinoki bath to soothe our tiredness was the best! Also, there was a supermarket nearby, so we had no trouble with meals. The staff were very kind, and we would like to stay again next year. Thank you very much.

With its charming interior, it felt less like a Hotel and more like staying at a friend’s home. It seemed there were two other groups staying as well, but it was so quiet that it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. The all-you-can-eat soft-serve ice cream was delicious—I had it twice, once late at night and again in the morning! It’s a bit far from the station, but the route goes through a shopping street, so the walk is never boring. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

Superb Rooms overlooking Miyako Blue and an outstanding cocktail hour—this is exactly why I strongly hope to see the “lounge operation” perfected. As a newly opened Hotel, I had been eagerly looking forward to it since last year. After actually staying, I was overwhelmed by the refined, upscale concept and beautifully crafted spaces on par with Mirage. As a devoted heavy repeat guest who truly loves Shigira Resort, I can say that—just like the Allamanda main building—the hospitality and service quality of the staff are top-tier. What impressed me most was the design of the Executive Ocean Room. Being able to soak in the bathtub at leisure while gazing out at the Miyako Blue sea right in front of you is pure luxury, and personally, I found this Room’s spatial design among the best on the island. Due to our flight schedule, we used the lounge starting from cocktail time, and to be perfectly frank, it surpassed Mirage within the same resort. The selection was extensive and everything was exquisite. My spouse and I do not drink alcohol, but there was one exceptional fruit juice (it’s so delicious that I’d rather not name it for fear it will become too popular) that made us feel its cost must be even higher than many alcoholic options—resulting in a thoroughly satisfying evening even for non-drinkers. Breakfast is also very stylish, with excellent presentation and taste. However, from a professional perspective, one suggestion: there are too many liquid items such as various smoothies, which leaves you feeling overly full of fluids. I felt there may be room to reconsider the overall balance of offerings (the proportion of beverages). And precisely because everything else was perfect and we were extremely satisfied overall, there is one—and only one—major point where I would ask for strict improvement: the Executive Lounge tea time. After breakfast, we went to the lounge with high expectations based on how wonderful cocktail time had been the night before—but were shocked to find it almost completely empty of food. Promoting that state as “tea time” as a perk for club-floor guests is clearly detrimental to a Hotel with such strong branding. I strongly request prompt improvement. The facilities are excellent; staff quality is outstanding; cocktail time is truly superb—which makes only this gap at tea time feel especially wasteful. This Hotel undoubtedly has what it takes to be among Miyakojima’s very best, so I hope that by my next stay your lounge operation will have been updated into its ideal form.

I was completely satisfied with my stay and truly felt, “I definitely want to stay here again.” First of all, all the staff were incredibly kind, and I was able to spend my time comfortably from arrival to departure. The Room was meticulously maintained and exceptionally clean. The open-air Onsen bath in the Room was a luxurious experience—I could enjoy the Onsen as much as I wanted, whenever I wanted. What stood out most was the outstanding cuisine. It featured an abundance of local ingredients, with such a wide variety that it couldn’t possibly all fit on the menu—and every dish was remarkably delicious. I could really feel the chef’s dedication and care. It was also very helpful that there were EV charging facilities. Being able to charge during my stay gave me peace of mind for the drive the next day. I’d love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

Thank you for hosting us for 5 days. The Room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you also for the gift. The bathtub on the terrace was wonderful, allowing us to relax while gazing at the sky. There is a convenience store about a 5-minute drive away, but none within walking distance, which might be slightly inconvenient if drinking alcohol. That’s about it. Looking forward to staying again!

We visited last year and had such a wonderful time that we came back again this year. Every breakfast and dinner was delicious, generous in portion, and completely satisfying. Swimming in the pool after dinner and after breakfast made us feel like kids again—so much fun. The Room was spotless and well maintained, which we really appreciated. Our dog also loved having the private dog run all to themselves. Above all, the owner’s warm personality and heartfelt hospitality are truly wonderful. It feels like visiting relatives. We’ll be back again.

I always stay at this Hotel. This time, I stayed with my older sister’s family and my younger sister to celebrate my retirement. Thank you, as always, for your very kind service. The meals were also delicious.

This was my first time in Himeji to see an opera. I considered other options, but chose this Hotel because of the Nikko brand, a separate bath and toilet, on-site parking, and even a club floor. However, the parking lot fills up quickly (it’s near the station and there aren’t many spaces), which made me nervous as a guest traveling from far away. A male staff member at the parking entrance kindly secured the last available space for me, which was a huge help—thank you very much. It would be great if parking could be reserved when making a Reservation, though I understand it may be difficult to manage. I also appreciated that parking is free for club-floor guests. The Facility feels a bit dated in places, but the Room has been renovated for comfort and convenience, with no shortage of amenities. The ReFa shower and hair dryer were excellent. The toilet wasn’t just updated cosmetically—the fixtures and piping also seemed new, making it very easy to use. The pajamas were a comfortable two-piece set with a soft feel and relaxed fit. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. The lounge made me wonder if this price is really okay—the food and drinks were impressively plentiful. Not only alcohol but also a great selection of HARNEY & SONS teas; the cinnamon tea recommended by one of the hotel staff was so good that I bought some afterward. Overall, the service was pleasant throughout and I could truly relax. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of both Japanese- and Western-style dishes—so much that even with my big appetite I couldn’t try everything. Live-cooked egg dishes are common at Hotels, but this was my first time seeing burgers made to order right in front of me. The burger was delicious—and perfectly sized as well. And the Awaji Island milk was outstanding. With no time limits on parking or lounge access, I could visit Himeji Castle and shop in the arcade as well. This isn’t just convenient for guests—it also feels like support for local revitalization efforts. Breakfast included many locally inspired items, and even the vending machines next to reception carried products from local confectionery shops—another nice touch. I don’t often have reasons to come to Himeji, but I’d love to return for a relaxing staycation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I finally got to experience this Accommodation I’d been curious about for a while, thanks to its appealing Instagram posts and high rankings online! In conclusion, it’s a wonderful Onsen Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction that truly lives up to the hype. The food is especially outstanding. At dinner—famous for its boat platter—you can enjoy Kishu-style whale dishes, along with a lineup of carefully prepared courses. As for the Onsen, it was a bit disappointing that every bath felt too hot to fully relax in, but you can still enjoy thoughtfully designed baths, including an open-air bath where you can feel the sea up close. I’m glad I found an Accommodation I’d love to return to in another season.

We planned a trip to Hakodate to celebrate my elderly father’s birthday, and after careful consideration, we made a Reservation at this Hotel. However, while sightseeing on Mt. Hakodate, my father suddenly became unwell, was taken by ambulance, and was admitted to the hospital immediately. He had been truly looking forward to it, but he was unable to enjoy the meals, the Onsen, or the Room here, so only my mother and I stayed. When we explained the situation, you responded appropriately and offered us warm words of support. I had little appetite after such an unexpected event, but everything we ate was wonderful and delicious—and it made me wish even more that my father could have enjoyed it too. The Room was also excellent. We are deeply grateful to all of your staff.

From the Room on the 13th floor, I could see Sakurajima. The Room was excellent, and the Onsen was great as well. I checked out before 6:00 due to my schedule, so it was a shame I didn’t have time to try the highly rated breakfast. The staff greeted me with smiles, making for a comfortable stay. It was a great-value Hotel.

I made this Reservation for my parents, who live in the countryside, for a sightseeing trip. As they are elderly, I was worried and contacted you in advance with a few requests, and your kind and attentive support gave me peace of mind. I was very happy to hear that they had such a wonderful experience. We stayed as a family. We were very satisfied with the Accommodation, the Onsen, and the meals. The building had a charming atmosphere (the stairs were a bit challenging), and we enjoyed a clean Onsen of excellent quality and delicious, high-quality cuisine. We were especially surprised by how good the meat, tofu, and rice were. Above all, we truly appreciated the heartfelt hospitality from all the staff. We were happy to receive so much helpful advice about getting around inside the property. We are also very grateful for your thoughtful consideration in providing an irregular Shuttle Service to the station. I will definitely visit again! A Ryokan that gets repeat guests always trains their staff to greet every guest warmly. Every time you pass by, they greet you. This is a common trait of highly-rated places I’ve visited before. Greeting every time you pass by—it’s a way to ensure they never forget the spirit of hospitality! Please stay just as you are now! I once revisited a place after a year, and the service had become so terrible that it was disappointing and even infuriating. This was truly the best day ever! Thank you so much.

Omicho Market is so close it feels like it’s next door, and major sights such as Kenrokuen Garden and Higashi Chaya District are also within walking distance. There’s a convenience store nearby as well—an excellent location. The Hotel Room was clean and comfortable, with the toilet and shower Room separated. The large public bath and open-air bath on the top floor were also wonderful. If I go to Kanazawa again, I’ll definitely stay here again. I was extremely satisfied with this Hotel.
