I think the Facility is kept very clean. The Rooms are simple and minimal, but more than enough for sleeping. I did feel that amenities like makeup remover or hair ties would be nice to have. The service is very polite. Perhaps because it’s a Ryokan with only a few Rooms, it seems the staff is also a small team working hard—but it never feels like they cut corners at all! The Onsen was excellent as well! The water temperature was just right. Like others have mentioned in their Reviews, the food is amazing. It’s more than enough for one person—I went to bed completely full. Breakfast was also plentiful, and everything was delicious. I think this is a hidden-gem Ryokan in Uguisuyado Onsen!

The price is very reasonable for the Obon holiday period. The Onsen is also great. It was convenient to park the car right in front of the cottage.

Although it’s called a Hotel, the system felt more like a whole-building vacation rental—for example, you take the key out from a dial lock in front of the Room. [Location] It’s about 15 minutes to the center of Minami, so it’s not bad but not great either. If you walk from the Minami area through the underground mall (Namba Walk), there’s a large supermarket on the way, which makes it easy to pick up late-night snacks or breakfast and head back without much inconvenience. The nearest convenience store (Lawson) is also close. OCAT is nearby as well, which was very convenient for me as an Itami Airport user. [Facilities Overall] We used a family Room. There isn’t a kitchen like many vacation rentals have, but there is a microwave. Even at night, it stays bright outside due to lighting, and since the curtains are not blackout curtains, depending on the person and season it may affect how easily you fall asleep or wake up. An eye mask might be helpful. Amenities are well stocked. We had a Multiple Night Stay; when we hung out the cleaning request sign, they replaced towels and replenished amenities. Trash is basically disposed of in the hallway trash bins. [Beds] A single bed listed on their website wasn’t shown in photos, so I didn’t know where it would be until arrival. There was a dead-end-like space extending along the window from the table by the window, and that’s where it was placed. Since it’s a narrow space enclosed on three sides, some people might actually find it cozy. The mattress firmness is average. There are power outlets near all beds, so charging phones etc. is easy. [Bath/Toilet] They are properly separated into different rooms. The bath area is small but acceptable. The changing area is also separate. I felt there was slight odor coming up from the drain at times, but it wasn’t bothersome. [Service] When I contacted them by email with questions, they responded quickly and politely. However, I didn’t stop by reception on check-in day, so I can’t comment on front desk service in person.

I have stayed on Ishigaki Island several times, but this was my first time staying at Yadoya Takenoko. I had imagined a simple guesthouse, but the private, detached room gave me a great sense of privacy and was very nice. I had breakfast, and it was delicious. The homemade sata andagi that I ate while waiting for the boat was simple with just the right sweetness, and I finished it in no time.

The Ryokan’s atmosphere, interior design, and our Room were all wonderful, making this a truly memorable birthday trip. Above all, the staff were exceptional—kindly checking in on us and even waving until we were out of sight when we left, which made us feel genuinely happy and welcomed. We would love to stay again.

Stayed in Furano for 2 nights from August 27 to 29. The accommodation was perfect as I was planning to stay in a condominium. The one-bedroom space was just right and comfortable for two people. The kitchenette is simple, but it should be sufficient for those who don't cook much. Above all, the staff were very kind and attentive, making the stay pleasant and comfortable. They communicated fluently in Japanese without any issues. It was a truly appreciated experience.

This was a hotel I had always wanted to stay at. The staff's natural conversations, smiles, and hospitality were wonderful. I was able to spend a comfortable time with my wife. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to stay here again next time. Also, the breakfast was made with high-quality ingredients and was incredibly delicious. For example, the omelet prepared by the chef in the open kitchen using special eggs, as explained by the staff, was astonishingly tasty. I would highly recommend this hotel to my acquaintances as well. Thank you!

We stayed for one night and two days. The Accommodation is along the Kamogawa River and close to Shijo, making it a great location. Check-in was handled by staff and went smoothly. We had a Reservation for a 4th-floor Room with a Kamogawa view; the Room was spacious and very clean. Best of all, the full-height windows let you enjoy an unobstructed view of the river all to yourself. You can even soak in the bath while looking out over the Kamogawa. Coffee and water were provided, and the amenities were well stocked. The showerhead and hair dryer are ReFa, which many women will appreciate. There’s also a drum-type washing machine and a small kitchen, which would be especially convenient for inbound guests staying long term. Inside the building, you can freely access the 2nd-floor lounge and the rooftop. The rooftop has chairs and tables, so you can enjoy the Kamogawa at night while feeling the evening breeze. We ordered shojin-ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) for breakfast, and it was delicious. It was delivered to our Room by someone who seemed to be from a nearby traditional restaurant or catering shop. The location, Facility, and food were all excellent. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Kyoto in peace and quiet.

A free gondola ticket was included, and although it was only operating in the morning, we managed to catch it just in time (we couldn't see the outside scenery due to rain and fog). I think it would be pleasant if it were sunny. I intended to just complete the check-in process, but they kindly allowed us into the Room quite early, which was very helpful! That alone lifted my spirits. During the check-in process, we were offered tea and a hand towel. The food might have mixed reviews, but it's similar to what you find at any Club Med. They cut dragon fruit for us and served it generously, making me feel like I was abroad. Unfortunately, the beer server closest to our table was broken.

We were worried a typhoon might prevent us from staying, but we were able to go and had a great time. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t good, but the kids were happy to get in the pool. If I could ask for improvements, it would be the tiles by the pool. When they get wet from the pool water, they become extremely slippery and dangerous, so I’d love to see some non-slip measures such as artificial grass or something similar. Also, it would be nice if the lighting were a bit brighter. Other than that, it’s an excellent Facility.

If I had to mention one thing… I would have liked cream and sugar for the coffee. Were they available somewhere? I also would have liked a Japanese breakfast option. Was it possible to choose that at the time of Reservation?

At check-in, I forgot to ask for the public bath's access code. Early the next morning, I went to the front desk, but the staff was unavailable as they had gone to a nearby Route Inn. I contacted them, and they promptly returned to provide me with the code. Thank you for your assistance.

Overall, it was good. However, the lighting was dim. As an exam student, that was a drawback.

A rare feature for a Business Hotel, the bath and toilet are separate, making it a frequent choice for accommodation when staying in Susukino.

It was a stylish and simple hotel. It was just right for No Meals Included. The hotel staff were all lovely, easy to talk to, and provided courteous service!

I stayed for two nights on a business trip. Since the building is only one year old, everything was not only new but also very comfortable. The under-bed storage, USB Type-A and Type-C charging connectors, fine foaming shampoo, non-slip hangers, shower room with no step from the floor, wrapped TV remote control to avoid direct contact—there were so many thoughtful details that I didn’t even realize how convenient they were until I used them. For breakfast, there were three plate options. The French toast, bacon and eggs, sausage, and salad were all delicious. It was my first time staying at an APA Hotel, but the staff provided excellent service and now I understand why it’s so popular and well-known. I will definitely stay again!

I had a relaxing stay.

The service was great, and the food was delicious. I didn’t have high expectations because it’s an older Hotel, but the Room felt clean and the bath was very relaxing. There were towels for the bath available at the public bath, so I could comfortably enjoy a morning soak. In the morning, coffee and juice were available in the lobby, which made it feel like excellent value for money.
