We stayed at this Ryokan for my parents’ therapeutic hot-spring retreat. It’s a Ryokan that’s difficult to reach without a car, but it had a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were especially kind, and we truly enjoyed our stay. My elderly parents were delighted with the nostalgic Japanese-style room. There are many stairs inside the Accommodation, and my father, whose legs have started to weaken, had a bit of difficulty walking around the building. We had breakfast, and it was delicious Japanese food that left us completely full.

You can walk to both Karuizawa Station and Kumoba Pond. It’s a slightly retro Hotel, with no elevator, and the shower and hair dryer are standard. That said, it has a nostalgic charm that I really liked. Meals were served at seats overlooking the garden greenery, and it was comfortable even when dining alone. Of course, the food was delicious. The staff were also very pleasant.

We stayed for one night with our pet, my wife and I, timed with our daughter’s visit home, with dinner and breakfast included. All the staff were consistently kind and spoke to us warmly, making our stay comfortable from arrival to departure—we were very satisfied. Meals were served in the Room, so even with our pet we could relax without worrying. The food was gently seasoned, full of wholesome dishes that felt good for the body, and everything was delicious—we finished it all. The large public bath was diagonally across from our Room, which was extremely convenient. The water had a smooth, gentle quality and the temperature was perfectly managed. This is an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again and highly recommend.

The 24-hour drink bar was available, and we could use it even before check-in and after check-out. I usually bring coffee with me, but it was great not having to make it myself. The morning pancakes came with unlimited syrup, and there was whipped cream too—I ended up eating four. The location was also convenient; we visited Dotonbori, Tsutenkaku, and Tsuruhashi.

The staff are very pleasant, and I use this Hotel every time. The Room is clean, and the satisfaction level is high; I really like this Hotel. I will use it again. Thank you very much.

As a self-employed person, it’s hard for me to take time off, but I was finally able to bring my elderly mother—who had been saying for so long that she wanted to visit an Onsen—for a one-night stay. I chose this Accommodation after reading Reviews, hoping we could relax more than at a large Hotel. Since we stayed on a weekday at the end of summer, the rooms were only about half occupied, which was also nice. The staff were all smiling and pleasant. We checked in early and enjoyed the Onsen before dinner. Dinner was served in private dining rooms with table seating. There were many dishes, but each portion was small enough to enjoy comfortably; everything was served warm at just the right pace, and the flavors and seasoning were perfect—we were very satisfied. The timing worked out well for the Onsen too, so we hardly ran into other guests and could take our time in both the indoor bath and the open-air bath. Staying during the autumn foliage season may be difficult due to crowds, but my mother said she definitely wants me to bring her again.

We stayed for my child’s tournament, and they won 3rd place! We’d love to stay again if we have the chance—next time, we’ll try the meals too!

This was our family’s first trip to Kushimoto. We made a Reservation for an ocean-view Room on a high floor, and we were lucky to have great weather—we even got to see a beautiful sunrise! The Room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt clean. The yukata fabric was sturdy and not see-through, and it had no odor at all (the highest compliment). I’m sensitive to smells—both unpleasant odors and strong detergent fragrances—so regardless of the Hotel’s grade I usually assume I won’t be able to use them, but this time I used the yukata a lot! Even though we chose an affordable Plan, dinner on the second night and breakfast on the third day were included as well, and we were surprised by the wide variety of dishes. Instead of bottled water in the Room, there was a water dispenser in the elevator hall (with hot water too), which we really appreciated. The bath area and changing room were also spacious, so we could truly relax. Bathing hours started early in the morning and ran late into the night, which gave us plenty of flexibility. We could adjust the air conditioning exactly as we liked—another reason it was such a comfortable stay. The staff members we passed in the hallways greeted us naturally, creating a refreshing atmosphere throughout. If I had to mention one thing: when using the Room slippers, I hesitated slightly wondering if they had been sanitized. At other Mercure properties I’ve stayed at before, this never crossed my mind. Overall, we were extremely satisfied! Thank you very much!

My wife and I stayed here together. The Room was spacious and clean, and we were able to relax comfortably. Even after walking around sightseeing all day, we could unwind properly in the calm atmosphere, and we were very satisfied. What especially stood out was the complimentary lounge available to guests. Not only could we enjoy free draft Sapporo beer, but there were also light snacks provided—it was so well stocked that we couldn’t believe it was free. It really felt like Sapporo and greatly enhanced our stay. It was also very convenient that there was a place to store luggage such as suitcases. We could sightsee hands-free even after checkout, so we were able to enjoy the city of Sapporo right up until it was time to leave. On the other hand, the only disappointing point was the showerhead. The water pressure in normal mode was too low and a bit difficult to use, but when switched to massage mode it became too strong, so there wasn’t a comfortable setting in between. If it were up to me, I would replace the showerhead without hesitation. For example, switching to something like the “SANEI Ultra Fine Bubble Shower Head mitos,” which can be purchased for around 10,000 yen, might significantly improve guest satisfaction. That said, aside from the shower everything else exceeded expectations. The complimentary lounge and luggage storage are thoughtful services that guests truly appreciate. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay, and it was also an excellent base for exploring Sapporo. I hope the showerhead will be improved, but even so, I would like to stay here again next time I visit Sapporo.

I finally stayed at the InterContinental Hotel, a striking, innovative building shaped like a yacht’s sail that I’d wanted to visit for a long time. The warm welcome at the entrance and the kind service made me very happy. This time I chose a harbor-view Room on the 27th floor. Since I had lounge access, I enjoyed a light drink before heading out. The staff were young, but their hospitality and manners were excellent. If you want ocean views, I don’t think there’s any other choice but this Hotel. It was a luxurious and truly out-of-the-ordinary Hotel experience. Having the shower room and bathtub separated made my stay very comfortable. Next time as well, I’ll come back to enjoy the harbor view from a high floor! Thank you very much.

The Room was very clean, and the bed was spacious. There was also a door that could partition the Room. Since some of us wanted to sleep early while others wanted to watch TV, we could close the door when needed. The TV showed how crowded the large public bath was; it said it was crowded, but when we went, the changing area was spacious and there were plenty of washing stations, so it didn’t feel crowded at all. The buffet food was delicious, but it was a bit too crowded and caused congestion. Unlimited alcohol with the welcome drinks is impressive, but I was surprised to learn that drinks were unlimited during meals as well! It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit again.

I was thrilled that the Room had a ReFa shower head, plus a hair dryer, straightener, and curling iron! The Room and bathroom were truly spotless—everything was perfect. My mother and our family stayed here, and with two TVs and separate areas, we could relax completely without any stress. Everyone in the family was very satisfied—my mother even said she wants to stay in the same Room again, so we’re already thinking about another trip to Osaka. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

We stayed the night before our child’s birthday trip to Disney. It has become an annual tradition for the past few years, and we always have a very comfortable stay. When I mentioned it was for a birthday at the time of Reservation, we were happy to find a lovely message card in our Room. The lounge is fantastic, with snacks and drinks available. There is also a convenience store on the lobby floor, which is very convenient. If you can’t find what you need there, there’s an station building nearby and an AEON mall just a short walk away. There is a shuttle bus to Disney, but it’s only one stop by train, so getting there is easy. We had a wonderful and enjoyable stay—thank you very much. We also went to the buffet for both dinner and breakfast. There was a wide variety of options, everything was delicious, and we were very satisfied.

This was my second stay. As before, I stayed with breakfast included. Last time I chose the Western-style breakfast; this time I chose the Japanese-style breakfast. I also enjoyed the complimentary curry and was very satisfied! The restaurant staff were very attentive, and both the Western and Japanese meals were delicious! After checkout, I remembered that I had left something behind in my Room and immediately called the Hotel... Since I had another appointment, I couldn’t go back to pick it up and wasn’t sure what to do—but they kindly offered to ship it to me cash on delivery! I’m truly grateful for their courteous response, careful packaging, and even a handwritten message! It’s a classic, old-fashioned Hotel that feels nostalgic for someone in my 50s. I’m sorry for the trouble caused to the staff. Thank you very much!

The Hotel had a wonderful atmosphere at the front desk counter—the face of the property. Of course, the guest rooms were spotless, and the breakfast staff were cheerful. The view was great as well—everything was excellent. A Hotel really comes down to its people. I fully support eco-friendly Hotels. That said, personally, I would prefer amenities like shampoo to be provided in bottles. (For sightseeing, Zenkoji Temple and Togakushi are both lovely, but Obuse—reachable on the Nagano Electric Railway from Shiyakusho-mae Station near the Hotel—was beautiful throughout the town, and I enjoyed exploring by bicycle from the station.) The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and employee training is thorough. The building itself is not new, but it has been renovated throughout. The food was also delicious. The rates are reasonable, and it’s a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

This was our first stay with our family of four and our Toy Poodle. Some Reviews mentioned that the property is old or has an odor, but once we arrived, we found the staff’s service, the meals, and the Facility to be more than satisfactory. We would like to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

I made a Reservation about two weeks in advance for a university open campus event. I was looking for a twin-bed Room, so I was relieved to secure one. It’s a bit far from the station, but it’s located roughly halfway between the university and the station. I couldn’t find a convenience store nearby, so it’s best to buy what you need around the station before heading over. The Room had air conditioning and felt clean. Amenities are available on the first floor for guests to take freely. Meals were served on the 13th floor, with a wide variety of Japanese and Western options and a great view. The salmon and rolled omelet set was delicious, as were the apple pie and apple sorbet.

I live near the Hotel, and my relatives came from far away, so they stayed here. They said it was clean and easy to use, and the shower water pressure was strong and great. Also, we extended the stay by one day, and they accommodated us without changing Rooms, which was very helpful. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
