The Room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. I would like to use it again next time.

Both the cuisine and the service are excellent. The Room has a traditional Japanese farmhouse style, and we were able to relax.

A deer figurine welcomes you as you step into the entrance. Next to the noren curtain at the men’s bath is a nostalgic vending machine with small shampoo & conditioner bottles, razors, and more. The retro lighting above the sink in the Room adds to the charm. It was a clean, calming Accommodation that retains the atmosphere of a classic Showa-era Hotel in Hokkaido. This time, we stayed with our dog. At the dining area where you can spend time together with your dog, we enjoyed wild mountain vegetables and a rare simmered oshorokoma (white-spotted char). The fresh venison was also very delicious. A Hotel we’d love to visit again!

It felt like an Accommodation focused on visiting nearby public baths, and the staff were very kind, which left a great impression. The canned beer and highballs available for purchase at the front desk were also reasonably priced. That said, a few things stood out: - I assume the Onsen is naturally low-temperature, but the open-air bath felt lukewarm. Since it was midsummer, I apologize if that temperature was intentional. - The Room with a private open-air bath was spacious and wonderful, but there was no wash bucket or chair for the bath, no sugar or milk/creamer for coffee, and no glass beer tumbler. It was a bit inconvenient. - The Wi-Fi only worked near the Room entrance. What impressed me most this time was the live performance by volunteers after dinner. From a large song list, they played our requested songs on saxophone, piano, and percussion—it was truly excellent and very moving.

We stayed with our 4-year-old. With a loft and a terrace, our child was delighted, saying, “What a lovely house!” The place was well prepared for the cold, with plenty of flowers and soft indirect lighting. The bathroom and changing area were spacious and easy to use. It would have been perfect if it had an Onsen, but the water was pleasantly soft. We also appreciated the juice and snacks as a parting gift. We’d love to stay again!

We enjoyed a peaceful lake, soothing birdsong, and time that felt like a world away from everyday life.

We arrived by rental car. At first, even with Google Maps we couldn’t find the Accommodation’s parking area and were a bit confused, but when we called the Accommodation, a staff member came to pick us up right away. Everyone on the staff was kind and pleasant. The meals were also delicious. No matter the time of day, the view from our Room of Onomichi’s townscape and Senkoji Temple was truly beautiful. We did notice some noise from footsteps in the hallway and doors opening and closing, but we were still able to rest well. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Onomichi. From the Room guidance to dinner and breakfast, and even the Onsen and sauna, we were able to spend a very relaxing time. We could also feel the thoughtful care of all the staff, which allowed us to truly unwind. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The in-Room dining tasted great, and the portions were very satisfying! If I had to say one thing, it would be perfect if the time between courses could be a bit shorter. I ended up feeling full while waiting (lol). The open-air bath in the Room was also amazing—I think I used it about 10 times (lol).

We stayed here for our visit to the Kansai Expo. The hotel kindly stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was very helpful. The Room was spacious, and there was a large public bath, making it very comfortable. All the staff were very pleasant and made our stay extremely enjoyable.

The Room I stayed in was very clean! The brochures on the desk were neatly arranged, and the bathroom was also spotless! It felt great when I entered the Room. Also, the shared kitchen was nice.

The building is old, but this is a very cozy Accommodation that makes you want to come back. They accept up to three groups per day; the toilet and washbasin are outside the Room, but they are assigned for your exclusive use, and the Onsen is also reserved privately by time slot. We stayed one night and used it three times in total. As they call themselves a cuisine-focused Accommodation, the food was delicious and more than enough. The owner trained at a soba restaurant, and his handmade soba is served at the end—hearty portions and extremely satisfying. The chicken offal stew and horse sashimi were also excellent. On top of that, chatting with the handsome owner was so much fun that we’re definitely coming back. We visited in summer this time, but we’d like to visit in autumn next time.

The detached Japanese-Western style room was wonderful in terms of its Facility, amenities, and atmosphere! Since it has no stairs like a cottage, it was easy to come and go even with heavy luggage.

It was our first family trip in a while, and we were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen. We booked No Meals Included, but the food at the restaurant was very delicious!! Everyone was so kind and attentive, and we really appreciated it. We would love to visit again.

I am a senior resident of Osaka, and this was my first visit to Tenkawa Village. Thank you for taking such good care of us. From my 30s onward I was constantly away on long business trips, then worked overseas from my late 40s through late 50s. After retiring at 60, I was assigned alone to a domestic affiliate company—15 years living apart from my family in total. During that time, I left all childcare and household responsibilities to my wife. Now that I have reached my second retirement at 65, I wanted—at the very least—to make it up to her. Because she loves nature (gorges, limestone caves, views from high elevations, and more), and because seeing fireflies was her top wish, we chose Nishisei as a Ryokan with delicious cuisine in an area where we could enjoy firefly viewing as well as an Onsen. We stayed one night from July 10 to 11. We arrived a little early for check-in, but you kindly welcomed us right away. While sightseeing, my wife lightly twisted her ankle. When I mentioned it to the female staff member in charge, she immediately brought us a cold compress patch. After dinner, you also drove us to a spot where we could see fireflies. Just as we had heard beforehand, everyone in this area is truly kind—I felt genuine hospitality throughout our stay. The manager told us that it might be hard to know whether we would be able to see any fireflies due to the timing of the season; however, at the riverside spot he guided us to, there were what seemed like well over one hundred flying about—a sight that even surprised him! We were deeply moved by the incredible swarm of fireflies unlike anything we had ever seen before. My wife said that every part of this trip matched her tastes perfectly and that she enjoyed it immensely. Personally as well—the Onsen (a bit hot but wonderfully refreshing afterward), the delicious meals served in our spacious private dining room-style setting, and the dancing fireflies—everything impressed me greatly. This is a repeat stay. I believe this is the nicest Accommodation on Amami Oshima. The ocean is right in front of you, and you can even see sea turtles while snorkeling. You can also see the ocean from the bathtub, and there is a kitchen for self-catering. We will come again next year.

I was cautious at first because the building is pink and the Facility has a distinctive look. However, due to a typhoon-related change of plans, I ended up staying here—and for the same Accommodation Fee range, it had everything I wanted: 1) two beds (twin), 2) separate bathroom and toilet with a bathtub, 3) a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, 4) a washing machine and gas dryer, 5) plenty of free on-site parking, 6) a microwave, 7) a balcony, and 8) provided tableware. In addition, since my Room was on the 4th floor, it had an ocean view. From the corridor side, I could also see the sunset over Irabu Island. The beds are slightly soft—below what you’d expect at a luxury Hotel—but they are large enough. The provided shampoo, body soap, conditioner, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid were not poor quality. The building and Facility are not brand-new but relatively new. Everything was cleaned well. However, it seems that requesting cleaning during your stay costs extra. Room access is via an electronic key; I received a five-character code (numbers and letters) by email. The location is on the Miyakojima side at the base of Irabu Bridge, making it convenient for getting anywhere. If you have a car, there are many restaurants and large stores within about 10 minutes. Accommodation Fees and prices in Miyakojima are higher than on Okinawa’s main island or Ishigaki (though you get experiences worth more than that), so being able to stay at Pink Hibiscus at an affordable rate was great. There aren’t Hotel-style services here, but it’s very practical—especially if you spend all day at the beach or swim in the morning, come back to shower and rest for a while, then head out again in the afternoon.

The location was great, and the bathroom and toilet were separate. Everything was well cleaned, so I had a very comfortable stay. Since it was the ReFa trial Plan, I was surprised when I was handed a large cart at the front desk with a hair dryer, hair iron, and roller inside, but it gave me plenty of time to try them out. They were so good that I’m considering buying them.

I have stayed at R9 series Hotels about 20 times and am very familiar with them. Staying in a clean Room is always nice. I plan to continue using them for overnight stays before golf and other activities.

Thank you for a very comfortable stay. We also appreciate the Room upgrade. It was a wonderful Accommodation in a great location (quiet and conveniently close to town), and pet-friendly Accommodations are hard to find. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.
