Because I’ve stayed here many times, they greet me with “Welcome back” at check-in, and it always feels like a comforting place to return to. I’ve also gotten to know the cart staff, and they’ll call out to me and even pick me up along the way—everyone is friendly and very kind. You can also enjoy chatting with the lovely lady at the breakfast venue. The mangrove kayaking tour departs from and returns to the hotel, so it feels safe and convenient. The staff’s knowledge is excellent as well! I’m planning to stay again next year.

Ever since my first visit before summer, I’ve been completely hooked and have returned several times. This time, I invited my family. We took a bus from a different stop than usual, so we arrived a little later than planned, but we were still able to follow almost the same schedule as always and were very satisfied. The room is compact, but it was just right for two of us (my mother and me). We spent most of our time at the hot springs and hardly came back to the room except to sleep. Since there was a smoker in our group, we booked two rooms. It was convenient not having to go to the designated smoking area, and those of us who don’t smoke could stay comfortably without worrying about any smell—my family appreciated that. As others have mentioned, the property is large and has an older layout, so you do end up walking quite a bit. But as long as you’re able to walk, it’s not an issue—if anything, walking more just means you can enjoy even more food. I personally love this kind of layout because it feels like an adventure. As always, everything we ate was delicious. My family especially loved the purple sweet potato tart. The evening hula dance show was spectacular; I’m always captivated by the dancers’ wonderful smiles. Every time I visit I seem to make at least one mistake and cause trouble for the staff, but everyone is consistently kind and helpful, which makes me feel at ease staying here. This time as well, I accidentally selected the wrong gender option when booking and needed my loungewear exchanged; they handled it cheerfully. Thank you very much. My family enjoyed it too, and once again it turned into a wonderful trip. With travel subsidies starting up again, reservations filled quickly and I couldn’t book for autumn… which is very disappointing—but I’ll be back in winter, and I’m really looking forward to it.

As a Diamond member, I was upgraded. The room was excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. When I visit the Nagara River again, I will gladly stay here again.

We enjoyed another wonderful trip to Kanazawa. The staff at the club lounge were very kind and took great care of us. The green tea jelly was especially delicious. Thank you very much! We’re looking forward to visiting again in winter.

I stayed on the 14th during the Obon holiday, and the female front desk staff were very kind. The Room was a little small, but it was a good size for me. Above all, it was very helpful that the station, department stores, and convenience stores were nearby. I stay in Omiya once a year, and I would like to stay here again.

We stayed here with four adults—my parents and us as a couple. This was our second visit, and we were able to relax thanks to the seasonal cuisine and wide selection of drinks. Since everyone has different preferences, the all-inclusive plan made it easy for all of us to enjoy both the meals and the baths, making it a truly wonderful trip.

As last year, I stayed in the Castle Suite with my daughter. It’s a Room that any young child will absolutely love. It features two Kumamoto Castle-themed bunk beds, a slide, plenty of toys, Kumamon figures, an oversized TV, and a hinoki cypress bath. The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—so while my child played, I could relax and fully enjoy some downtime.

It was my first stay, and the room was clean and the price was reasonable. The location is also great. I will stay again next time.

I stayed at this Hotel to visit my son and his wife who live in Yokohama, and to meet friends in Ikebukuro. It was very convenient, close to the station and easy to get to Tokyo as well as Shin-Yokohama and Yokohama. Although I arrived early, I was shown to my Room as it was already prepared. It was a single Room, but spacious and spotlessly clean, with a wide bed that made my stay very comfortable. Amenities were available for pickup on the front desk floor and were well stocked. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety and everything was delicious. I would like to stay at this Hotel again on my next trip to the Kanto area.

The hot spring is especially great. It’s also nice that there is a shuttle service. However, the shuttle bus can be small at times, so if you see the notice posted, it’s best to wait early. Dinner BBQ isn’t very large in portion, but having a BBQ while enjoying the view from the hotel rooftop is wonderful. The rooms are clean and breakfast is delicious. Because the hotel is located in a nightlife district, you may find yourself walking past neon lights when going out at night; if you’re with children or your partner, it may be better to take a taxi instead. Overall, this is a satisfying hotel with hot springs, shuttle service, and delicious food.

The view from the room was amazing—we could see the ski jump. Rain was forecast from that day, but we enjoyed a brief spell of sunshine, which felt wonderfully refreshing. Both the hot spring and the open-air bath were available, and they were truly soothing. The meals were a dream for vegetarians—exactly what we could have hoped for. It was a very relaxing one-night stay, and the room was clean. However, there is a step up to reach the toilet, which was a bit disappointing; at night it could be easy for older guests to trip when stepping up. Other than that, it was a hotel we were completely satisfied with.

The Hotel is in a great location, and the Room was very spacious, making our stay comfortable. Akita Station is also nearby, and the Akita Citizen’s Market, where you can shop, is just a short walk away, which made our stay enjoyable. If we have the opportunity, we would definitely like to stay at this Hotel again.

The location is excellent and very convenient with parking available. The area is perfect for exploring and dining, so you'll never have trouble finding something to eat. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing—too basic, to be honest. Considering Utsunomiya's specialty is mainly gyoza, it might be understandable, but overall it was still a good Hotel.

My biggest concern was that the Hotel had been renovated. When I looked into its history, I learned it is a building with real historical value. I felt vaguely uneasy at first, but reading the Reviews put my mind at ease. I was also curious about what “EM” meant, but I didn’t look it up and figured I’d find out once I arrived. After making my Reservation, I started noticing that “fermentation” is surprisingly common in everyday life. I hadn’t had many chances to stay here before, but this time I decided to book a stay. It was far more comfortable than expected, and staying here was absolutely the right choice. The view from the Room was amazing—because it’s on higher ground, you can see far into the distance. I could even see the expressway I usually drive on without thinking about it, and beyond that, there was a view of the sea. The Room is cleaned using EM as well, and it made for an exceptionally comfortable stay. What impressed me most was the food. It wasn’t just an ordinary buffet; everything seemed thoughtfully designed with health in mind, and EM is used too—I genuinely felt refreshed from within. The dishes also had a wonderful homemade quality, and every item tasted great with real ingredients you could appreciate. It almost makes me regret not coming sooner. The large public bath was spacious and relaxing, with no crowds, so I could unwind at my own pace. It soothed both body and mind. What surprised me most was how warmly each staff member welcomed guests. They supported one another as a team and treated guests with simple, genuine consideration. Unlike many other Hotels where service can feel formal or scripted, their hospitality felt truly personal—and that made all the difference. This stay was so wonderful that it’s a Hotel where I definitely want to return. If you’re unsure about booking Accommodation here, I highly recommend experiencing it at least once.

This is my second stay. For seniors, a Western-style room is recommended over a Japanese-style room. The Onsen is great, and the food is excellent—simply the best.

There were no excessive services, but all the essential ones were well provided. In the spacious community zone, there were servers not only for tea and coffee but also for beer, and I was very satisfied that I could enjoy a casual drink. There was also ice cream available in the post-bath area. I also thought it was great that there is a Room where families with children can play. Meals are buffet-style, and everything was delicious. The rock bath is worth seeing at least once—it's wild!

If you’re looking for a quiet Hotel where you can sleep well, JR Inn is the one. The lockers for storing luggage before and after your stay are located right near the entrance, which is helpful because you don’t have to go through the lobby. It’s also great that the Room has a bathtub where you can soak and relax. It’s nice that the amenities include bath salts, and I especially appreciate that the skincare products are Sekkisei. Having a trouser press permanently in the Room is also a plus. There’s a wide selection of pillows to choose from, and with an upgraded Simmons bed, I slept very well. Breakfast may be light, but it’s impressive: different breads each day, three kinds of soup, hygienic single-serve cups of potato salad, individually wrapped Hokkaido Camembert cheese, and even yogurt and milk pudding for dessert. Perhaps because it’s a light meal service, the breakfast area is quiet too, which feels relaxing. However, I noticed a yellow stain on the pillow I chose. I’d also like the refrigerator to be pre-chilled.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting our eldest son. The breakfast buffet was delicious as always. The property and our room were very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. We have already made another Reservation for our next visit, and we’re looking forward to it.

Used for a night out. Beppu Station is right in front. There is free parking near the hotel, and it was spacious and easy to use. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean and nice. The hotel has a hot spring, so I could relax and soak comfortably. The price was reasonable, and I will stay again.

This is the reliable Route Inn. It’s right in front of the station, yet parking and breakfast were both free. We went to Tsuruga for a day at the beach, so we checked in late and checked out early—just needed a place to sleep—and this Hotel was a great value thanks to its cleanliness and large public bath. The bath was clean and the water temperature was comfortable, but the women’s area could use more washing stations. We also enjoyed the plum juice in the lobby. Overall, it offered excellent value for money.
