Using the Summer Kagoshima Accommodation Discount, I was able to stay at an unbelievably reasonable rate. The Plan was No Meals Included, but I had dinner at “Shisui” and took my time enjoying the pairing with sake. Both the food and drinks were outstanding, and it was a truly luxurious experience. From the large public bath, Sakurajima happened to be erupting. Watching the rising plume of smoke and the slowly drifting clouds was incredibly soothing for both body and mind. Being able to enjoy scenery unique to Kagoshima is one of this Hotel’s special charms. With IKYU Diamond Member benefits, I also received a souvenir, an upgrade, and late check-out, which made it feel even more worthwhile—I was very satisfied. Also, I personally highly recommend the baguette from the bakery inside the building.

We stayed to celebrate my mother’s discharge from the hospital. Based on our previous stay, you kindly accommodated our requests and avoided ingredients we cannot eat without us having to mention them this time, and we truly felt your outstanding hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel—the view from the balcony, the comfortable Room, and the delicious meals—and my mother was very happy as well. Thank you for celebrating with us. 　I especially love the atmosphere of your pool. I hope you will continue to maintain an environment where it is easy to swim and no one takes prohibited photos. Next time, we would like to visit again around autumn or winter.

The stonework used on the lobby walls felt substantial and refined, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The Room was clean and beautifully furnished. The bathroom area was also thoroughly cleaned, so I could stay very comfortably. The Onsen had many different types, which was a lot of fun. After checkout, I left my luggage at the front desk and took a walk around Shoin Shrine. Since it was midsummer, when I returned to the Hotel—probably because I was sweating—the staff kindly offered me a drink (sorry for the trouble). I truly appreciated it.

This was an Accommodation I had wanted to stay at for a long time, and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was outstanding—from the Hotel atmosphere and meals to the staff’s warm hospitality, the special tea experience, the Room, and even the Onsen. I will definitely stay again. We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and a babymoon trip. In short, choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision! This time we used the maternity Plan. Since there are very few Accommodations that offer a maternity Plan, the moment I saw the Plan name I thought, “This is it!” and made a Reservation. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us, carried our luggage from the parking lot, and even provided welcome drinks and a thorough explanation—right from the start, their attentiveness was flawless. With only seven Rooms, the property was wonderfully quiet, and everything felt unhurried. The all-inclusive setup—being able to enjoy drinks and light snacks whenever we wanted—was fantastic. During bar time, my wife was thrilled to have non-caffeinated options and non-alcoholic cocktails as well. She even said, “Next time I can drink alcohol again, I definitely want to come back!” (laughs) Our Room was a stylish maisonette with a chic black theme. The open-air bath viewed through the large window—and the forest scenery beyond—was beautiful. We were truly grateful for all the thoughtful touches for my pregnant wife: a large maternity cushion on her bed, extra cushions prepared for her chair at meals, and more. Breakfast and dinner were satisfying beyond what you’d expect at an upscale restaurant. They confirmed in advance what my wife couldn’t eat and adjusted each dish accordingly. It was also fun hearing how it differed from the standard menu. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, they even prepared a lovely fruit platter with dessert at dinner—we were both genuinely moved. We skipped using the in-room open-air bath this time because there were many insects outside, but we thoroughly enjoyed the private bath whenever we liked. The lounge also felt incredibly open thanks to its high ceiling and large windows that let us take in nature. During bar time after dinner, when Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream was sold out, one of the staff kindly brought an alternative for us! We expected it would simply end with “Sorry, it’s sold out,” so we were touched by how far they went for us. And after checkout as we drove away by car، staff came outside waving goodbye with their arms raised—it was such wonderful hospitality that made us think، “We’ll definitely come back!” Thank you for such an amazing stay from start to finish! It became our best anniversary and babymoon ever۔ We’ll absolutely return once my wife can enjoy alcohol again!

The staff were wonderful. The Room had a private open-air bath and was surrounded by greenery, making it very relaxing. The size was just right—not too big or too small—and it felt thoughtfully designed. I’d love to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

This Hotel is perfect in every way—from the Room size and hospitality to all services and cleanliness. It was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. I felt the price could easily be twice as high. Above all, it was calm and relaxing, with only Japanese adults staying there, which helped me truly unwind. I would love to visit again.

We stayed in Room 401 with an open-air bath. The deep, expansive views, delicious food, and Onsen were all wonderful, but above all, we were most impressed by the warmth and kindness of the staff. Even among Accommodations in the same price range, many do not see guests off, so we truly appreciated it. It made us want to come back even more. Thank you very much.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The Facilities, the staff’s atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. It was clear that each staff member truly loves dogs. We would definitely like to stay again.

We visited this Accommodation for the first time in March after it received the strongest “Absolutely!” recommendation among several options, and it was the first time in a while that we felt completely satisfied in every respect. From the courteous and accurate communication during the Reservation process, to the atmosphere, use of space, staff professionalism, and cuisine—everything met our expectations. With an Accommodation of this caliber, I wasn’t particularly worried about the food, and I had already seen photos of the interior on the website so I assumed there would be no surprises. In the end, however, what matters most is “people.” With group stays, requests often cause inconvenience and there are usually one or two small oversights on the day—but here everything was perfect. This time we came as individuals. We returned both to confirm our impressions and to be moved all over again. The entrance—still fresh in my memory as a favorite—is spacious and quiet. It harmoniously blends cutting-edge design with traditional charm despite being complete opposites. Personally, it may be my favorite part. Our Room this time was more compact than last time but more than sufficient for one night. The open-air bath is also spacious and easy to use even though it has privacy screening. The private dining room felt almost too large for just two people. The timing of each course and the staff’s warm smiles made for a truly comfortable—and delicious—meal. Overall, what stayed with me is how rare this Facility is: an excellent balance of new and old, genuine warmth from people, and employees who approach their work with sincerity—all coming together in perfect harmony. Newer Accommodations with a full resort feel are wonderful in their own way as well; however, as an Onsen Accommodation, this is a place I can confidently recommend as a distinctly Japanese stay where timeless tradition is beautifully integrated. We visited during Golden Week for a birthday trip. From the warm welcome to the lounge, Room, baths, and meals, everything throughout our stay was wonderful and made it a truly unforgettable trip. The view from the Room was beautiful, and we were able to spend a relaxing, luxurious time. Every dish was genuinely delicious; even though the portions were generous, it was so good that I finished everything for the first time. All of the staff were consistently kind and attentive, which made our entire stay very comfortable. We also went to an outside bath, but it was quite crowded—so much so that we felt completely satisfied with just the Ryokan’s baths. In particular, the in-Room bath had perfect temperature and excellent water quality, and it was incredibly soothing. I’ve been traveling about once every two months for many years, but this is the first Ryokan that truly made me think, “I definitely want to come back.” Next time, I’d love to visit during crab season. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

This was my second stay after visiting in January. It’s a small Accommodation, but the service, meals, and Onsen are all above average. Some Rooms seem to have an open-air bath, but even without one, the public bath is not crowded and you can relax. The spring water has a faint sulfur scent but isn’t too strong—perfect for me. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back.

We stayed here for a marriage proposal. When I contacted the staff in advance about arranging a surprise, they kindly accommodated my request, allowing me to create the ideal proposal. We booked a Plan that included access to the Gold Lounge, and every meal was absolutely delicious. Thoughtful touches were evident throughout our stay, making it the most luxurious and memorable experience of my life.

Our family of five stayed here. The private pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and meals on the terrace were a big hit with the kids. We could also enjoy fireworks, making it a wonderful summer vacation memory. This was our second stay, and we would love to come again next year.

I stayed here on a business trip and was very satisfied. There is a wide variety of open-air baths, and the sauna is an authentic one that rivals specialty facilities—perfect for unwinding. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. It’s an Accommodation I would gladly stay at again if I have the chance.

The bath and breakfast are both excellent. I was especially surprised by the wide variety of breakfast side dishes. Every dish was delicious.

Although the sky was unfortunately overcast, it was the perfect season to comfortably soak in the lukewarm natural spring water, and it felt wonderful! The meals are delicious and full of healthy options, and combined with the Onsen benefits, I feel better every time I stay. Perhaps because I kept coming back, my frozen shoulder has completely healed! The summer à la carte fried rock oysters were especially delicious—I’d love to have them again next year! This was my first Saturday stay, and I enjoyed listening to a jazz piano performance. It matched beautifully with the mysterious flicker of the bamboo lights in the garden and was incredibly soothing. There were familiar tunes and summer songs, and in the second half they even took requests, so there was a great variety of music and it was truly enjoyable. Ending with “Cradle Song” was also a stylish touch. I’m looking forward to visiting again in autumn.

It was a wonderful experience. Thank you to all the Hotel staff. I was worried about the weather, but we were able to enjoy stargazing as planned. You also adjusted the dinner time, and I was able to relax and fully enjoy everything at a comfortable pace. Truly Aman quality. The Japanese-inspired cuisine was, of course, delicious. The excellent coffee is proof of your attention to detail. Above all, the hospitality of every staff member supported an unforgettable stay. I stopped by the thermal spring around checkout time, but the sidewalk had become so hot in the sun that it was impossible to walk on. It’s better to go after late afternoon. Next time, I’ll enjoy it with a Multiple Night Stay. Personally, I love Hawaii, and having a beer alone on the balcony at dawn is pure bliss—but coffee while looking out over Ago Bay from my Room at Amanemu surpassed even that. I’ll be back.

The dog run was a spacious yard with no obstacles, so our 1-year-old dog could run around safely. The building itself was modern, stylish, and very clean, and everything was well maintained and comfortable. The meal ingredients were prepped in advance—just follow the recipe and it turns out absolutely delicious! During our stay, we heard cuckoos calling—something we never hear at home—and it was so soothing to see our dog react to the sound. Unfortunately, due to the typhoon it was cloudy and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but we were more than satisfied just watching our dog relax and enjoy himself. We’ll definitely be back!

The Onsen had both hot and lukewarm baths, and I alternated between them. The meals were plentiful and left me completely full; there was a great variety, with nothing to complain about. The front desk staff were kind and helped me with many things. The dining staff were attentive and efficient. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.
