It was a truly charming and wonderful place to stay that made us completely forget the busyness of everyday life. The room had a special, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere, yet it was also comfortable for our young children, allowing our whole family to relax from the heart. The pool was especially memorable. Because we could enjoy it privately as a family, we didn’t have to worry about anyone around us and could play to our hearts’ content with the kids—it became an amazing memory filled with nonstop smiles. In the morning, we also loved how beautifully the pool’s surface reflected onto the indoor ceiling. The jacuzzi bath and sauna were excellent as well, and we were able to fully unwind and recover from daily fatigue. Both dinner and breakfast were fresh and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed such a luxurious dining experience. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay; however, if I had to mention two areas for improvement: first, there was no disposable comb among the amenities (we hadn’t brought one), so it would be helpful if one were provided. Second, having child-sized chopsticks—such as mini disposable chopsticks for small children—would be greatly appreciated during meals. All in all, it was a fantastic property that made us genuinely think, “We definitely want to come back!” Our children kept saying during our stay how much they wanted to return as well, making it an unforgettable trip for our entire family. Thank you very much for the wonderful space and hospitality—we would love to visit again.

The Facilities and amenities are excellent, and the staff service is outstanding as well. I especially loved that you can get free supplements. If I stay in Ikebukuro again, I’ll choose this place or one of its affiliated properties!

Conveniently located near Susukino Station with excellent access, and right next to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, which features restaurants, drugstores, and many convenience stores. During my 2-night stay, I enjoyed the Onsen with an open-air bath that helped relax my tired feet and body after walking around. I also requested an in-room massage, and they were very flexible with the schedule and menu options—it was truly rejuvenating. I would love to stay here again!

The Onsen was great, and the meals were delicious, so we were very satisfied. The Accommodation cost was also very reasonable, and it was even better than expected. If I had to make just one request, the dinner dessert being only warabi mochi felt a bit lacking. If possible, we would appreciate it even more if you could include a seasonal dessert and coffee.

Motorcycle parking is available for 4–5 bikes and is covered, which is appreciated. The hotel is next to the station. (You can clearly see the platforms from the first-floor breakfast area, but it’s designed so you can’t be seen from the platforms.) There is a large public bath, and breakfast is included. There are many rice options—plain rice, mixed rice, chicken rice, curry, ochazuke—and plenty of side dishes as well. There are several places nearby where you can have dinner. For a solo stay, I think the price is affordable and more than sufficient. I’d like to stay here again next time.

I went with modest expectations because the dinner buffet offered all-you-can-eat crab, but it exceeded them. There were surprisingly large crab legs, pork and beef shabu-shabu, and teppanyaki. It also included all-you-can-drink beer and local sake, which delighted my wife, who loves both crab and drinks.\nThe Onsen was excellent. The Room was old, but the tatami mats had been replaced, so we stayed comfortably.\nI would love to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

This was our first trip traveling with our dog. We were a bit anxious, but when we arrived, even though our dog barked, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and no sign of displeasure, which really put us at ease. Everyone—from the front desk to the dining staff—provided pleasant service, and there wasn’t a single moment that felt uncomfortable.　 The Room had tatami flooring, and it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious; I even ended up eating six pieces of mochi for breakfast! The hot spring water was my favorite type, and the temperature was perfect—not too hot. I just wish the shower pressure had been a bit stronger. We had a wonderful trip.

I always enjoy Route Inn’s services, especially the breakfast and large public bath. I also look forward to the local specialty dishes served at breakfast in each prefecture. I will stay again.

I stayed for one night and two days to attend the Nagoya Motorcycle Show. This was my third stay, and it included breakfast. I choose this Hotel because it’s close to the venue and has a large public bath, and because my companion likes a nearby restaurant. The Room, amenities, cleanliness, service, and meals are all appropriate for the price. I’m not looking for luxury. The staff greet guests properly when passing by, which feels very pleasant. Since it coincided with a local festival seasonally, I was able to see the yamahoko parade. This time I was lucky enough to catch the evening parade.

As the facility includes an Onsen, I was able to spend a very enjoyable and comfortable time. I heard the tuna is delicious, so next time I would like to take my time and enjoy the meals as well.

I stayed on my birthday. Thank you for the gift of sweets—I was very happy. Both the facilities and the Room were very clean. The YA-MAN hair dryer and ReFa shower head provided in the Room were excellent. I would love to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Sorry for the late review, but we had such a wonderful stay that I wanted to share it. The staff were incredibly kind, and that alone made us feel we chose the right Hotel. In particular, during meals (the buffet), the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made dining truly pleasant. Of course, the food was delicious as well. The shop staff were also very welcoming. Even though it was close to closing time, we never felt rushed, and I enjoyed shopping in a relaxed way while chatting with them. As for the Facility, there was a drink bar just outside the bath area, and it was great to be able to sample small amounts of various alcoholic drinks such as beer and shochu. Our family of five stayed here, and every one of us was satisfied. Thank you very much.

Although I booked this Hotel at short notice, the front desk service was excellent. It is close to the station, and the Room felt comfortable like a studio apartment. The toilet and bath are separate, which made it very relaxing.

We stayed here as a family. It was conveniently located near the station, making it easy to access Enoshima and Kamakura. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to relax in the Onsen, and the breakfast was delicious. We would love to stay here again.

Just as the Accommodation’s name suggests, my mind felt cleansed. The open-air bath was breathtaking with nature right in front of me, along with birdsong and the sound of the wind—it was wonderful.

Although the building is old, it was clean, and it was a comfortable Hotel where you can use the bath at any time. The downside is that Wi‑Fi cannot be used in the Room. Since it is in the mountains, mobile reception is weak and the connection is poor. The road to the Hotel is poorly paved, and I felt it could be a bit dangerous after dark.

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary with crab, so we made a Reservation at the last minute. When we arrived, the proprietress welcomed us with a warm smile, and after check-in at the front desk, she kindly showed us to our Room. The building itself has a sense of history, and there are stairs and steps throughout, so it may be a bit challenging for guests with mobility issues. The Room isn’t large, but it was spotless, and thoughtful touches—like a heated carpet laid over the tatami—made it feel especially comfortable. After changing into yukata, we headed straight to the Onsen. We started with the large public bath only; even the baskets in the changing area were lovely and lifted our spirits. Once inside, we were impressed by the very high ceiling and stylish design—stained-glass doors and an elegant layout that created a wonderfully open atmosphere. Then came dinner—the highlight we’d been looking forward to. First was a refreshing sudachi aperitif that was delicious. The sashimi starter featured sweet shrimp that were wonderfully plump, and the firefly squid dressed with vinegared miso was surprisingly tender—the gentle flavor of the miso dressing was perfect. I’m not enough of a crab connoisseur to confidently tell all the differences (like tagged crab), but since it was a special occasion, we chose a Plan that included Taiza crab sashimi—and it had an incredible melt-in-your-mouth sweetness... We could enjoy it not only with crab vinegar but also with sudachi or salt—truly outstanding! That alone almost would have satisfied us—but this is where things really began: fragrant grilled crab; a rich yet clean-tasting Taiza crab miso soup; then crab hot pot followed by rice porridge; dessert of crab ice cream; and even chocolate mousse to celebrate our anniversary. It’s frustrating that all I can say is “delicious,” because everything really was. After dinner, we relaxed in the private bath we had reserved without worrying about anyone else around us, changed into pajamas (a very welcome touch!), and drifted off completely satisfied... The next morning we visited the bath with an open-air tub. This outdoor bath also had an ocean view and felt wonderful—we soaked slowly and enjoyed every moment. Breakfast was classic Japanese style—simple but delicious... It was my first time trying heshiko, and it was so good that I even used the discount voucher on our way out to buy some. They saw us off with warm smiles until the very end, making this an incredibly satisfying wedding anniversary trip. Thank you very much!

This Accommodation comes highly recommended by a renowned Hotel critic. Although it is away from central Nagasaki, I think it is a Hotel well worth going out of your way to visit. The Room was of a level you normally couldn’t stay in at this price. We arrived early for check-in, and the staff recommended a walking route around the Hotel—about 40–50 minutes on foot. Since it feels quite isolated without a car, we also had dinner here. It’s an expensive set-course dinner, so my rating was slightly strict because of the price. They also offer an à la carte menu. For breakfast, I chose the Western option. It felt a little lacking that there was only one type of bread—the same round French loaf as at dinner. The Japanese breakfast might be more recommendable. I requested Shuttle Service from the port and communicated by email; their responses were fast and excellent. That alone shows this is a first-class Hotel. Because of the ferry schedule, it looked like we might arrive just before lunch service ended, but they did their best to accommodate our request (in the end we switched to an earlier ferry so it wasn’t necessary). Also, the ferry from Sasebo was not as rough as I had feared—an easy and comfortable 30 minutes. There’s too much to say here, but I’m truly grateful for all the thoughtful care shown by every member of staff. “A Hotel worth making your travel destination.” That’s what this place is.

Everything—from the service and the Hotel’s interior design to the teppanyaki and even the smallest details in the guest room—was perfect. It was a truly moving and wonderful stay.

As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, Hotel staff came over and helped carry our luggage. The entrance, surrounded by trees, had a lovely atmosphere, and the Room felt comfortable with its modern Japanese style. The private open-air bath was pleasantly lukewarm—perfect for relaxing—while the large public bath was set to around 41°C, which felt just right. The water is clear and neutral in scent and taste, leaving a refreshing feeling after bathing. Dinner was a chef’s creative course menu, and each dish was carefully prepared—we were very satisfied. For us in our 60s, it was almost more than we could finish. The grounds are spacious, with spring water flowing into a pond with koi. The pathways are full of charm as well, but they are somewhat long and include slopes, so older guests should take care. At check-in you can receive feed for the ducks. Ducks (and cats) come close looking for food and are adorable, but they may compete for it; some guests were bitten when feeding directly from their hand, so please be careful. After an unexpected evening rain stopped, we looked outside late at night to find a sky full of stars. On clear summer nights, it seems you could lie back on the terrace couch and enjoy stargazing. I did wish the Room trash bin were a bit larger. The staff were thoughtful in many ways overall, making this a very pleasant stay.
