The location is excellent. Strolling around Kiyamachi and Kawaramachi Street was fun, and the Kamo River at dusk was breathtaking. The Hotel feels very clean and the Room was comfortable, but the standout feature here is definitely the large public bath—it was fantastic. However, since we were on the second floor, we could hear some street noise in the early morning.

The trip was originally planned because we were determined to see Nagano’s first National Treasure—the octagonal three-story pagoda at Anraku-ji Temple. We enjoyed the journey, visiting the footbath, Kitamuki Kannon Hall, and Anraku-ji, but when we returned home, the memories of Ryokan Hanaya came to mind first. From the hospitality and cuisine to the marble bath, the wood-rich architecture and signage, and even the staff attire at breakfast and dinner—every detail reflected a sincere commitment to putting guests first. It reminded us what true “omotenashi” really is. Fresh flowers were arranged throughout the property as well, which was wonderfully calming. Thanks to you, we had a truly memorable trip. We were able to spend a relaxing time in a wonderful Room. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. We only had breakfast, but the Japanese breakfast we chose after much deliberation was very delicious and made for a great start to the day. The location is also great, and we would like to stay again.

Being able to smoke on the balcony was greatly appreciated as a heavy smoker. The wood-fired meat was also absolutely delicious. I would definitely like to stay here again. The only downside was that it was quite bright around the property, so we couldn’t really enjoy the starry sky. It would have been nice if at least the lights along the seaside promenade were turned off late at night.

Even though I’ve walked along Teramachi Street many times, I never noticed this Hotel. It’s also very close to Sanjo Keihan, and it was easy to get there even in the extreme heat because I could walk through the covered shopping arcade. There’s a 7-Eleven downstairs, so there was no trouble at all with shopping or meals. The Room is compact but very functional, and I love that the bath and toilet are separate. The bathroom has a washing area and even a chair—everything you could ask for. There’s also drink service, and many international guests stay here; it seems everyone really appreciates the coin laundry. It’s also convenient for accessing the Tozai Subway Line, which helped me a lot on this trip. Despite all these services, the price is very reasonable. This may become my regular place to stay. Breakfast included eel, so I got a great nutritional boost first thing in the morning. And amazingly, there was an automatic rice dispenser where you press a button and it serves exactly the amount you choose—so impressive. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stayed here on a trip with a family we know, and it was wonderful as always. We’ve stayed several times, so both my wife and I can relax with peace of mind—this is our favorite hot spring Accommodation. The family staying with us was also very satisfied, making it the perfect vacation. Since one of our group had difficulty walking, we truly appreciate you accommodating our various requests. I stayed for one night with a same-day Reservation. The Hotel was spotless throughout, and as others have said, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff were also very friendly. There is no parking at the Hotel, but I was able to park at the coin-operated lot in front of the Hotel for a maximum of 1,500 yen. It is also directly connected to Otakanomori SC, which is very convenient, and I would like to stay here again.

I’ve stayed here many times. This time, three adults stayed, and the Room was spacious and very clean. I’m somewhat sensitive to smells, but I was able to use the pillows and towels without any concern. The towels were pure white, fluffy, and felt great. The amenities were also much higher quality than at other Hotels I’ve stayed at recently, which made me very happy. My favorite thing about this Hotel is the breakfast buffet. I look forward to it every time, and compared with my stay in spring, there was an even wider selection of delicious Akita specialties this time—I’m disappointed I couldn’t try everything. The hospitality of the person who makes the rice balls is wonderful every time, and it always moves me. I’m planning to stay again next month, so I’m really looking forward to it.

I stayed in the Women-Only Ladies’ Room (No Meals Included). I visit Sendai a few times a year with an overnight stay, but this was my first time using this Hotel. What made me choose it among many Hotels was the women-only floor with security access and the separate bathroom. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. The loungewear was a two-piece set, and the amenities were high-quality—something you’d expect from a ladies’ room—which really lifted my mood. There is also a water dispenser on each floor, so it’s helpful that there’s no need to buy bottled water. The front desk staff were also very pleasant. I initially thought it might be a bit far from the station, but it turned out to be no problem at all. Next time, I’d like to try the breakfast.

All staff were courteous and attentive, and I had a very pleasant stay. Thank you. It would have been nice to have a chair in the bathroom. I had breakfast, and it was very delicious. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

With its convenient location right by the East Exit of Kitakami Station, I stayed on the top (9th) floor this time. The room was new and clean, spacious for a single, and well designed with an easy-to-use desk and chair and a thoughtfully planned layout. The Hotel also offers welcome drinks, a choice of amenities, and a large public bath, making the stay comfortable overall. Laundry Facilities are available on both the 2nd and 6th floors; it was convenient to check machine availability from the room, and the PIN-code system was helpful as well. On the other hand, they can be fully occupied during peak times, and it would be even more convenient if cashless payment were available. This time I chose a Plan with dinner and breakfast included. Since there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance around Kitakami Station’s East Exit area, choosing dinner included was definitely the right call. Being able to have all meals within the Hotel is a major advantage. Breakfast featured items such as Kitakami natto, roast beef, and BALMUDA toasters, and the overall atmosphere and quality were good. However, yogurt had run out by around 7:30 a.m., and I felt that adding more variety to the side dishes and improving the color balance of the salad selection would make it even better. While there are some minor areas for improvement, overall it was a very satisfying stay including the room, large public bath, in-house Facilities, and meals. If I have another chance to stay near Kitakami Station, I would like to use this Hotel again.

The baths are among the best of any Accommodation I’ve visited. Security is solid, so you can feel at ease. The complimentary ice cream after a bath is a nice touch. Breakfast is delicious across the board, and it’s easy to overeat. The seafood rice bowl is so good you’d be satisfied even if you had it for lunch. This is a strong candidate to become my regular go-to Accommodation.

This Hotel is clean and relaxing, both outside and inside. The calm, tasteful interior made for a very comfortable stay. The attentive service was excellent, and I would like to stay here again. I also appreciate that you delivered the items I forgot.

All guests were dog families, so the atmosphere was very comfortable, and everyone had good manners when interacting with one another, allowing us to relax without worry even on a rainy day.

My mother, my sister, and I stayed here together. The Room with an open-air bath was very clean, and the bath was equipped with a step stool and a chair, so my elderly mother could use it safely. The meals were delicious, and my mother was so satisfied that she finished everything. We would definitely like to stay again.

A very spacious Room was prepared for us. The coastal view from the Room was wonderful, and the meals were also very delicious. However, there were several large stains on the carpet, which was a bit disappointing.

We stayed with our child, and thanks to the friendly staff who spoke to us warmly, both parent and child were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay with peace of mind. The meals and drinks served at SPECIALTY SALON were also excellent. Next time we stay, we would love to try breakfast at THE MOMENT as well. Thank you very much.

Everything was excellent. It had been a while since I last enjoyed in-Room dining at a government-registered international tourist Ryokan, and the staff’s service and cheerful hospitality were outstanding. They faithfully preserve Japan’s fine traditions while continuing to refine them, which was truly impressive. The large public bath was spacious, with an ocean view that felt very relaxing. The meals were also delicious (blackthroat seaperch). Crab season had just opened as well, and although I wanted to try it, I decided to save it for next time after considering my budget. The front desk staff were efficient; the support you need is attentive, and anything that should be quick is handled quickly. From the station, buses run reliably for a regional city—take the bus and get off at “Tourist Center-mae,” then it’s just a few minutes on foot—so if you check the timetable in advance, access from Yonago Station is smooth.

The Room had a wonderful atmosphere and was very clean! The loungewear was also very comfortable—excellent! Since it is free-flowing hot spring water, the bath temperature was around 43°C and too hot for our child to soak in, which was a bit disappointing. But other than that, we have no complaints.

Everything—from the Facility and hospitality to the dining—exceeded our expectations, and it was a stay that our whole family genuinely enjoyed. Our child liked it so much they said, “I want to come again,” and we felt it is a Hotel that’s perfect for a family trip. This time we stayed for one night and two days because we were also staying at another Hotel, but considering the well-equipped Facility and services, I think a Multiple Night Stay would let you appreciate this Hotel’s appeal even more. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights. [Club Lounge] The staff at check-in were extremely courteous, and we were able to enjoy sweets and drinks while completing the procedures. They also prepared coloring sets for each child in our party, which left a great impression as our child was able to spend the time without getting bored. [Guest Room: Ryukyu Suite / Beach View] The in-room refrigerator was a large model with completely separate fridge and freezer compartments, making it very convenient even for families. The toilet was modern and very clean, so it was comfortable to use. Having an in-room drum-type washer/dryer is especially helpful for longer stays or trips with children. Also, because there is a tatami room, children can relax safely lying down; we felt it’s a guest room where families can truly unwind together. Since it’s on the 3rd floor, the view isn’t quite “breathtaking,” but we had no particular complaints and stayed comfortably. [Dinner: Roy’s] There was an excellent variety of sushi options, and the desserts were plentiful as well—everything was delicious. We were satisfied enough that we definitely want to dine here again next time, and I can strongly recommend it to future guests. [Breakfast: Four Seasons] As part of the club floor benefits, we could make a Reservation at check-in, which helped us avoid crowds and enter smoothly. All dishes were delicious—especially the pancakes. With seating overlooking the ocean and a great atmosphere overall, it made for a wonderful morning. [Large Public Bath] We used it around 9:00 PM. It was crowded inside, but there was always an available washing station. Towels were provided as well, which made everything comfortable. [Facilities & Amenities] While not large, there is an indoor pool; plus activities such as rock-paper-scissors stamp rallies are held too, so children won’t get bored even on rainy days. We spent comfortably everywhere—including the outdoor pool area and the beach. [What Was Disappointing] The club floor benefit “Dolphin Splash” and the suite benefit “Wake-Up Sailing” were fully booked so we couldn’t participate. Although this seems unavoidable since the website states they are first-come-first-served programs as well، I hope improvements can be made so guests are less likely to miss out on these benefits altogether.
