We stayed as a family of four with two children, aged 5 and 3.\nIt is a small Ryokan with nine Rooms, but the building is impressive and everything was spotless, with thorough cleaning down to every detail.\nHighly recommended for families with children—everything you need is provided.\nWe also appreciated the wonderful kids’ meal plate prepared for our children.\nIt was a Ryokan we would love to visit again.

This was our second stay at Umekiya. We stayed once before and it was so great that we chose it again. The owner talked with us about why we picked this place again, as well as products made on Awaji Island and shops run by local creators, and we were able to actually stop by. They also share recommended spots around Awaji Island. On our second visit, we used a nearby super sento. It was extremely crowded with locals, so while Umekiya doesn’t have a bathtub, if you want to take your time in the bath, it’s better to use Umekiya. The Wi‑Fi in the Room (which didn’t work well last time) had been improved, but the best part is spending time enjoying the atmosphere in the shared space on the first floor while having free drinks. There are two shared toilets, but my family wished they were separated for men and women. It’s also hard to tell whether someone is inside; even though one of them was vacant, I was knocked on and asked to hurry up. It would be helpful if it were easier to see whether each toilet is occupied or not. If we come back to Awaji Island again, this is a place we’d like to stay at.

My wife and I stayed for one night shortly before Tanabata. We visited after seeing it featured on NHK’s “Bi no Tsubo,” because we wanted to try the irori hearth cuisine. The entrance is located within the large parking area of Shirayama Hime Shrine, and the Accommodation sits in a quiet setting between the shrine’s approach paths. Our Room was a Japanese-style tatami room, and the garden view from the engawa veranda—looking past the irori—was full of charm and very relaxing. There is no toilet in the Room, but one is very close by, so it wasn’t an issue. It felt like staying in a spacious traditional home. Also, in a reading room near the bath called Waraku-an, we could sit on chairs on the veranda and gaze at the greenery along the shrine approach, losing track of time. Dinner was served in another Japanese-style room with an irori. The appetizers presented in a bamboo basket were decorated with bamboo leaves and hydrangeas, giving a cool summer feel. After that, we enjoyed delicious dishes centered around ayu (sweetfish) grilled by the young proprietor over the irori in our room. The ayu rice was excellent as well. Including breakfast, everything was truly delicious, and the portions were just right—we were very satisfied. Before long we noticed handwritten messages from the proprietress throughout our Room and around the Accommodation. They are humorous and warm, and when you speak with her you can really feel her heartfelt hospitality and unhurried sense of time. She even said that when bears once appeared at the shrine, they had simply come to pay their respects—bravo. All in all, Wadayasan at Mt. Hakusan was an outstanding Accommodation for its setting, food, and wonderful proprietress—and it’s an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

Because the Reviews were highly rated, I had wanted to visit for a long time. When I actually stayed, it was exactly as the Reviews said, and I felt truly relaxed. The iron-rich Onsen was wonderful, and the Room was very clean; throughout the property I could also sense the owner’s thoughtful touches, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I also appreciated the staff’s respectful sense of distance—it really helped someone like me who tends to get nervous. The meals were outstanding; I’ve never had fish this fresh before, and the meat was also incredibly delicious—I was genuinely impressed! Breakfast was comforting and delicious as well, and I enjoyed a wonderful time right up to the very end. It was a lovely one-night, two-day stay. Thank you very much. I will definitely come again!

The ocean view from the Room was truly breathtaking, and I was able to relax and unwind. The Room was also very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The panoramic bath can be reserved for private use, and soaking in the bath while gazing out at the vast ocean right in front of you felt wonderful. Every dish at dinner was delicious, especially the deep-fried rockfish and the grilled abalone—both were outstanding. The portions were very generous—more than I could finish. I’m sorry I couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast was just as satisfying. Although we unfortunately had bad weather this time, it was still a lovely stay. Next time, I’d love to return on a sunny day.

A quiet setting, a clean Room with a great view, and above all, delicious meals made for a truly wonderful stay. I had the chance to speak with the owner at breakfast and could really feel the care and dedication they put into this place. They were such a lovely person, and I was truly glad I came. It was a wonderful Accommodation where we could relax in peace, like staying at a private villa with only two Rooms. The chef’s cuisine was truly delicious—everything handmade with creative touches using local ingredients, beautifully presented and easy to enjoy. We were completely satisfied and enjoyed every dish. The staff also shared lots of great recommendations in Nasu, including tasty bakeries, drinks, and sightseeing spots, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us. There was an alcoholic drink made with Tochiotome strawberries—I've forgotten the name, but I’d like to look for it next time I visit Nasu.

This Hotel is very cozy and located in a quiet riverside area. It’s a short walk to the center of Jozankei, but it’s perfect for a post-meal stroll, and you can also enjoy the illuminated Toyohira River. The meals focus on quality over quantity; each dish made the most of its ingredients, and everything was delicious. The Onsen bathing area is on the smaller side, but since this Ryokan has only a few Rooms, it never felt crowded (weekday Monday stay during Obon week).

We visited as a couple with our preschool-aged child and small dog. We’ve stayed at about ten dog-friendly Accommodations so far, but this was the most satisfying trip we’ve ever had! You were kind to both our child and our dog, and it became more than just a place to stay—it became part of our wonderful travel memories. Our child is a very picky eater, and we always struggle with meals while traveling, but you listened to our requests and specially prepared a menu for us. We were truly touched—both sorry for the trouble and deeply grateful. It helped us so much. The dog run also had soft, fluffy grass, and our dog happily ran around every day. It made us want to live in Nasu. Highly recommended Accommodation! Thank you very much!!

We stayed here with our family of four during our trip to Kyoto and Osaka. Since we booked the Family Suite, we received services such as welcome drinks, and they even celebrated our child’s birthday for us—thank you very much. The Room was more than spacious enough, the amenities were well stocked, and the outstanding location with Osaka Castle towering right in front of us made us extremely satisfied. Breakfast was also high quality across the board and delicious. We are also grateful for the wonderful hospitality from everyone at the Hotel. Thanks to you, it became a truly memorable family trip. I visited with my husband for a belated wedding anniversary. The welcome at the entrance by so many staff members was amazing—I was truly surprised. The grand lobby was wonderful, filled with the sound of a pipe organ and an indescribable atmosphere, and the classical furnishings were beautiful as well. We stayed in Building No. 8 in a Japanese-style room with beds. It was incredibly spacious, with a stunning view and the soothing sound of the river flowing below. There was also a TV in the bedroom. The vanity area was large, and even the private bath had Onsen water—pure luxury. The rooftop garden bath was beyond amazing, and all of the other baths were excellent too. Watching trains go by while soaking, seeing birds of prey spread their wings across the sky, and taking in the mountain range—it all felt mystical. I wanted to stay forever... Dinner was served in a semi-private room (almost completely private—and very spacious), and it was an outstanding kaiseki meal with incredible attention to detail worthy of a traditional restaurant. At the end, we even received an anniversary gift from the proprietress—it meant so much to us, and we are truly grateful. Breakfast was also delicious—especially the dashimaki tamago; I became a big fan. Each dish was beautifully crafted and tasted wonderful as well. We will definitely return—this became a truly special memory for us. Thank you very much. P.S. 1: The Asaya manju were unbelievably delicious—I made Reservations for four boxes, and everyone loved them. P.S. 2: The lounge was also fantastic—stylish interior design with wonderful craftsmanship; the sweets were delicious, and they even prepared matcha for us. The manju served with it were Asaya manju as well—an Accommodation that showed heartfelt care in every detail. I would like to order Asaya manju again.

I stayed on the club floor at Hotel Hankyu International during my time in Osaka, and it was an exceptionally satisfying stay. The front desk staff were extremely courteous, answering my questions warmly and attentively with genuine smiles. I felt truly welcomed. While the hotel has the elegance you’d expect from a luxury Hotel, it never felt stiff—service was delivered with a comfortable sense of distance that left a great impression. My club-floor room was spacious, with upscale furniture and furnishings throughout. The view of Osaka from the window was especially breathtaking. Through the large windows, Umeda’s night skyline spread out before me in full. Simply taking in the view felt like pure luxury. The club lounge also exceeded my expectations. I could relax in a calm atmosphere, and the staff were consistently thoughtful and attentive. The view from the window seats was wonderful as well—I lost track of time while unwinding there. The drinks and light bites were high quality, making this an excellent choice for anyone who wants to truly enjoy their Hotel stay. Most memorable of all was breakfast. The Japanese set included soft-shelled turtle rice porridge (suppon zosui), which was surprisingly delicious and made for an indulgent start to the day. The refined, deeply flavorful broth soaked into me with every sip, bringing happiness with each bite. There was none of the gaminess often associated with suppon—just a gentle taste at a level that hardly seemed like breakfast food. Every side dish was carefully prepared too, leaving me completely satisfied. From the room and night views to the club lounge, breakfast, and staff service—everything met an impressively high standard. It’s a Hotel that made me think, “I will definitely stay here again.” For anyone seeking a special stay in Osaka’s Umeda area, I can confidently recommend it. When I visit Osaka next time, I would absolutely choose the club floor again—it was a wonderful Hotel stay that let me fully enjoy an extraordinary escape from everyday life.

What I enjoyed most was the food. Every dish in the full-course French dinner was captivating. From moray eel steak and conger eel baked with croutons to beef fillet paired with foie gras, I was thoroughly satisfied with the colors, flavors, and presentation. The hot sandwiches at breakfast were also excellent, featuring seafood and pâté and letting me fully enjoy local ingredients. Bathing while looking out at the sea from a guest room with a private Onsen felt like a special escape from everyday life. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff’s courteous service made me feel at ease. It’s an Accommodation well worth the price, and I’d love to return.

We stayed for two nights. The views from the Room and the Onsen were wonderful, and it was very comfortable. We requested the premium dinner for both the French and Japanese meals, and everything was delicious, with carefully prepared dishes using seasonal ingredients. The weather wasn’t great, but even so, it was a lovely stay.

The Room was spacious, thoroughly cleaned, and pleasantly spotless. It was great to be able to use the large public bath at the Hotel, and I appreciated that the in-room shower was a Mirable—it was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were polite, and their smiles were wonderful. Although it was a last-minute stay, I was able to relax comfortably and was very satisfied. Ikuta Shrine is right next door, and it’s close to both Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, so I think it’s also ideal for sightseeing in Kobe.

With the heat being so intense, we decided to take it easy at our Accommodation on this trip and chose Fufu Kyoto, which we had wanted to stay at for a long time. Even though we arrived late, we truly appreciated you coming out to welcome us in the heat. Every staff member greeted us politely, and from start to finish we were able to spend our time in complete comfort. In the Room, cold tea was prepared for us, which was a relief after arriving. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided in just the right way, and we were able to stay without any inconvenience. The meals in particular were carefully crafted with seasonal dishes down to the smallest details; they were delicious, and both of my parents were very satisfied. We were also grateful to receive cold water when departing. We are glad we chose this Accommodation. Thank you very much.

It was amazing to relax in the lounge after visiting Universal Studios Japan! All the staff were kind and helpful. The value for money was excellent, and I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit USJ!

I stay here almost every month for regular commitments. This time I noticed the amenities were from an Italian organic brand, Millennium. They smelled wonderful and felt great to use. I’m completely hooked on the reliable, long-established comfort of this place.

Great location. I was really torn about where to meet up with my daughters who live in Yokohama, but we decided to gather in Ryogoku. It was a great choice. It has convenient access not only to Yokohama, but also to Hamacho, Ginza, Oshiage, and Tokyo Station, so we agreed to get together again as a family before we parted ways. The chanko hot pot at breakfast was delicious.

I first stayed here when I came to Kyoto for my son’s wedding, and the staff’s attentive service made my stay very comfortable. Since then, I have been staying here every time I visit Kyoto. The Facility is clean, and I was able to relax again this time. I would like to stay here again.
