The hospitality was excellent, and they kindly accommodated our request to change the dish (the simmered fish), so we had a wonderful time. Since it was before the busy season, we were able to chat leisurely with the owner and the hostess, and on the way home my wife and I talked about coming back again. We were very grateful as we were starving after walking around Mount Mihara. The owner, who was born and raised in Oshima, seems ready to answer any questions you may have.

The staff at the accommodation were incredibly helpful. We stayed during the year-end, and the interior of the yurt was so warm and comfortable that we couldn't feel the cold outside. The dinner options, including the hot pot course and barbecue course, were abundant with plenty of meat, vegetables, mushrooms, appetizers, and even ice cream for dessert. We were completely satisfied. One member of our group couldn't eat meat, so we requested in advance to substitute seafood for the hot pot meat. The staff handled this request kindly and attentively. Breakfast was served buffet-style with bread, soup, coffee/juice, fried rice (which was especially delicious), fresh vegetable salad—all of which were delightful and satisfying. We also received free tickets to a nearby onsen facility. Bringing along a towel set from our bungalow that could be returned at the onsen made it convenient to enjoy outdoor baths, löyly sessions, and saunas before heading back home. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully arranged for an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!

I stayed with my beloved dog. The room was on the first floor with no view, but we enjoyed a relaxing walk at the nearby beach, and gazing at the star-filled sky became a wonderful memory. The meals were also very delicious. This is an accommodation I would love to stay at again.

I stayed for one night on this trip to visit Usa Jingu Shrine. The hostess and staff were very friendly and welcoming, and their warm hospitality made me feel at home. Every dish was delicious, the tableware was lovely, and there was more than I could finish. It was about a 40-minute drive to Usa Jingu Shrine—I only wish it were closer. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

I stayed for three nights on this occasion for a memorial service, and although the location was not ideal, the front desk staff provided excellent service, and the Room was cleaned beautifully each time, so I was able to spend my stay very comfortably. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying again next time.

Being on an island, I felt this place is best for travelers who want to relax and take it easy. There aren’t many sightseeing spots on the island, so you spend time slowly at each place. You might try an activity like a zipline once in a while, but overall it’s more about taking plenty of breaks and enjoying a laid-back stay. Once you check in and reach your Room (it felt like a trailer house), you really don’t want to go back to reception. However, the large public bath is located by reception—and at the moment the open-air bath isn’t available. After finishing our BBQ dinner it was pitch-dark, which made it even harder to go, so I used the bath in my Room instead. It seemed like most guests went in the morning. At night, I just didn’t feel like making the trip. That bath situation was probably my only downside! The BBQ dinner had great portion size and quality! I especially loved the ajillo. If I had to add one thing, I would have been happy if there had been dessert. The Room was small but somehow designed so that five people could sleep there. I hit my head on the ceiling multiple times, but that’s also a good memory now—such a fun and unique sleeping setup. Checkout was also convenient: you can return your key at each activity area without going all the way back to reception, which was great because we didn’t have to walk back and forth. One more disappointing point: The hair dryer in our Room was broken— even on “Turbo,” it only blew at “Set” strength, so we had to dry our hair with weak airflow forever…and it never dried properly. Please replace it soon for future guests! Overall, this was truly a relaxing and satisfying trip! If you’re looking for a slow-paced getaway, definitely give it a try.

The Room was clean, beautifully designed, and spacious. We stayed as a couple but couldn't fully enjoy it in just one night. There was an authentic sauna, allowing us to have a truly fulfilling time. The food was delicious and more than enough for two people to share. It turned out to be a very satisfying trip. Thank you so much! We would love to stay again.

I stayed for business purposes and found the accommodation recently renovated with a modern hotel design. It was small yet cozy, offering a relaxing stay. The shower provided hot water, which was great, and the bathtub was spacious. However, it lacked a reheating function, so filling the tub took some time, which was the only downside. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Despite our flight delay causing us to miss dinner time, they willingly adjusted our meal plan. Additionally, they provided shuttle service to our work site in the Kada area the next day, which was extremely helpful as taxis are not available in that region. They also offer shuttle service to Kada Station if you notify them in advance at check-in. Next time, I’d like to visit with my family for sea bream fishing!

We stayed as a group of 9, including 6 adults and 3 children. The Facility is a bit old, but we had a comfortable stay. We apologize for the children running around and being noisy... The host was very kind. The sauna → outdoor air bath → jacuzzi combination was very relaxing. The homemade bread at breakfast was delicious. I heard they also offer day-use sauna services, so I’d love to visit again during a touring trip!

Due to unexpected weather during our trip, we ended up staying at this Hotel. It was our first time at a pension, but the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife left a lasting impression. We also felt a special connection as the owner's wife’s family home is near ours. We were amazed by the delicious Hida beef, as we usually have Yamagata or Sendai beef. The meals were homely yet offered flavors beyond what we could experience at home. We will definitely visit again when traveling nearby!

The property, a beautifully renovated traditional house, did not have a bath or toilet in the room, but the toilet was very close to the room, so it was not inconvenient. The bath was also spacious and clean. The meals were abundant with fish, including sashimi, simmered fish, and olive yellowtail shabu-shabu! There were also matsutake mushrooms, oysters, olive beef, sea bream rice, and more... Even though I tried a little of everything, it was too much to finish. It might have been better if the olive beef was served with warm vegetables. There are only a few art festival pieces around, so I think it's a great place for adults to relax and unwind.

The seaside location offered great views, and the Room was clean and relaxing. The meals were also satisfying. However, the bath was on a time schedule, which made it less relaxing as I had to watch the time. Overall, I was satisfied.

This is my second time at this Ryokan. I searched for a place to enjoy Okose and Ise lobster, and decided to stay here. This time, I came with 7 friends because I wanted them to try the food here. Everyone was very satisfied. Thank you for your hospitality. Mae-chan

A pet-friendly accommodation where you can stay with your beloved dog. This historic accommodation, now in its 6th generation, has an old building that gets so cold in winter that you can see your breath indoors (laughs). The charming owner prepares delicious and elaborate meals. Although there may be some waiting time as the owner manages everything alone, the atmosphere makes it enjoyable and worth the wait. I would love to visit again—next time during a warmer season!

The meals are excellent in both quality and quantity—I was completely satisfied. A bath you can use all night. A charming, traditional Japanese Ryokan, and it’s almost a straight walk from the station.

I visited Yabu City to support my grandchildren's training camp. Just like last year, I stayed here and felt as comfortable as being at home. The meals were very delicious, and I was full from the morning. Both the owner and the female staff were wonderful and took great care of us. Thank you very much!
