I stayed for one night with No Meals Included. The staff were very pleasant, and the Room was clean and comfortable, so I was able to relax. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

The bath at the Accommodation was quite nice, and we were also able to use the bath at a nearby Hotel, so we were very satisfied.

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan, and everything about the stay was perfectly fine, but I was especially impressed by the excellent service from the woman at the front desk. If I have another opportunity, I think I will stay here again—thank you in advance for your kind assistance at that time.

About a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. If I had known there was such a comfortable place to stay in the 3,000 yen range so close, I could have enjoyed Kyoto even more in the past. The bedroom is quite spacious, so there was no trouble finding space for luggage. The shower room, toilet, kitchen, living area, and other facilities were all clean and seemed to be well-maintained. Both women at the reception were friendly and provided polite service, making my stay pleasant from check-in to check-out. I would love to stay here again!

Every time, I can enjoy a comfortable stay in a clean Room. After taking a bath and having a meal, I feel very relaxed. I’m happy there is a washing machine. It’s also convenient that there is a nearby coin laundry with large dryers. If I may make one request, I can’t sit in seiza on tatami mats, so it would be helpful to have chairs available at mealtimes. One night with two meals for five people—delicious food and very reasonably priced. Thank you very much.

The Facility itself feels a bit dated, but the meals were delicious, with many dishes featuring seasonal local ingredients. The Onsen water was also excellent, and the Room had a reliable internet connection. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Everyone at the Ryokan, especially the proprietress, welcomed us with such warmth and thoughtful attention that we felt truly happy throughout our stay. The Accommodation itself is old, rich with history and stories, and you can really feel how lovingly it has been cared for over the years. The Onsen water was soft and silky, gently enveloping you and soothing every ache and fatigue. The meals were exceptionally delicious—each dish carefully prepared—and nourishing for both body and soul. We were deeply impressed. Even the plain white rice had a mysterious charm that stayed delicious to the very last bite. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I stayed for 8 nights again on a business trip. Ishigaki Island is hot, so I sweat a lot, but having a washing machine in the Room really helps because I can do laundry every day. For longer stays, being able to do laundry is great since it means I can pack fewer clothes. The microwave and the large refrigerator were also very convenient. Thank you again for your hospitality.

We stayed for three to four days from the holiday period into the weekdays. We informed them in advance about a food allergy, and they kindly accommodated us. They seem to be running the place with a small team, so they looked very busy, but all the staff were cheerful, kind, and served us with smiles. The private family bath in the annex for day-use visitors was a nice change of pace, but the slightly hot Onsen in the main building was wonderful. We would like to visit again if we have the chance.

About 10 years ago, I stayed here when it was operating as a “weekly apartment,” and this time was my first stay in quite a while. While feeling nostalgic, I also had an extremely comfortable stay. ■ Outstanding hospitality Most impressive of all was the service from the female front desk staff member. Her explanations were very thorough, and she made check-in feel refreshing from the start. Although I work in customer service in a different industry, her attentive care and demeanor were so wonderful that I genuinely felt, “I want to learn from this.” ■ Cleanliness The Room was meticulously cleaned throughout—no dustiness and no unpleasant odors at all—spotlessly clean. The unit bath and toilet (no bidet seat installed) do feel dated as Facility features, but they are polished so well that it more than makes up for their age. Given Yamagata’s many excellent Onsen facilities nearby, if you plan to enjoy bathing outside, it’s not an issue at all. ■ Dining and location It was a little disappointing that the kitchen that used to be available is now unusable, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. In particular, “Sakaeya Honten,” famous for hiyashi ramen (cold ramen), is right across the street—an unbeatable location! You won’t have any trouble finding somewhere to eat. ■ Advice for future guests Check-in hours are relatively tight (15:00–18:00). I recommend planning your schedule with plenty of buffer time. (They seem able to accommodate flexibly if you contact them in advance, but arriving early is safest.) I felt this is a very trustworthy Accommodation where older facilities are more than compensated for by careful cleaning and warm service. I would gladly stay again when visiting Yamagata.

I was happy that the staff spoke to me in a friendly way at check-in. The Room was clean, which made me feel at ease.

For this price, I was very satisfied with both the location and the Room. The beach is just a short walk from the Hotel. The views from the Room and the rooftop were wonderful. Rather than typical Hotel service, their hospitality was exceptional. I would definitely like to stay here again when I want to relax.

I made a reservation with meals at a Ryokan for the first time. The guidance to the room, explanations, meal service, and futon preparation were all smooth. The atmosphere was nice, and it was conveniently close to the sea. The Onsen and private bath were excellent, allowing for a very pleasant stay. I would love to stay again! Thank you very much!

I visited after seeing it on Zatsu Tabi. Having grown up in rural Kagawa, the Room felt just like my old home, and it was wonderfully nostalgic. Sleeping on a futon laid out on tatami for the first time in a while was very comfortable. They seemed busy when I arrived, but the proprietress kindly came out to explain everything and show me around. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and I would definitely like to stay again if I’m in the area. Thank you very much.

It was a full moon night, and it was very quiet—yet not lonely at all. I took a short walk in the evening, and the beautiful streetscape made my stay truly pleasant. I could even walk to the shrine I had wanted to visit, which made this one of my most wonderful trips to Kyoto. Thank you very much.

I was satisfied with both the meals and the Onsen. I visited by motorcycle, and being able to park in the garage made me feel very secure. I would like to stay again.

It’s not very close to Toyama Station, but it’s an easy walk. There are plenty of casual places to eat along the way, and you can also shop at a supermarket. Toyama Castle Ruins and a park are nearby, so the location is nice overall. (The nearby nightlife area may be a bit of a downside, but it’s fine as long as you don’t take the wrong alley.) Staff are always present at reception, and they can even do your laundry. The service feels polite and attentive. The Hotel exterior looks old, but it has been well renovated, and the Room and bed are spacious. You can borrow a “good sleep” pillow. It’s also great that the bathroom and toilet are separate, which is rare compared with typical unit baths.

The young couple managing the place were very pleasant, and their two sons were adorable. Dinner was plentiful, carefully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The rice balls they made for lunch were also excellent. The bedding and sheets were clean and comfortable. It would have been even better if facial soap was provided as an amenity, but the price was reasonable, and I would love to stay here again if given the chance.

I was able to stay comfortably again this year. It was disappointing that, for some reason, I couldn’t watch YouTube and the amenities didn’t arrive. However, when I checked in and entered the Room, it was cool inside, and I really appreciated your thoughtful consideration. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again next year.
