This was my second stay at an APA Accommodation, the first in over twenty years. My first stay was in Osaka, and this time was far better than back then. The bathroom and water facilities were very clean, and I was surprised there was none of the typical odor. The front desk staff were also very helpful. The location was excellent—I could walk around the Hakodate Station area and even visit the morning market early in the morning. I arrived by car and parked at the coin-operated lot right next door for 1,000 yen, which I really appreciated. I’d like to stay again next year.

This was my third stay. As always, in the separate container units you can hardly hear noise from neighboring rooms—only the sound of doors opening and closing at the entrance (you can hear traffic and trains). On the other hand, it’s great that you can relax without worrying about the noise you make. I often use R9 Container Hotels because I can unwind alone at my own pace. The bathtub is a bit larger than in a typical Business Hotel, and the bed is very comfortable. It’s also helpful that they offer frozen light meals.

I’ve stayed at Sotetsu properties in various locations, but this was my first time in Kinshicho. The Hotel wasn’t too far from the station, and since it was a separate-type Room, it was comfortable and consistent with other locations. However, there were a couple of differences compared to other locations. They were minor, but the toilet wasn’t an automatic-flush type, and hot water was leaking from the shower in the bathroom, which was disappointing. As for the shower, I could fix it easily by reattaching the nozzle, but it was leaking enough that it should have been noticed during cleaning, so that was a bit disappointing.

I stayed here for a meeting in central Tokyo. It’s very close to Yotsuya Station and faces Shinjuku-dori Avenue, making transportation extremely convenient. Despite the location, there isn’t much traffic noise, so you can spend your time quietly. The touchscreen check-in process can be a bit confusing at first, but it’s not a major issue. The desk is spacious, and working with a laptop is easy. It was also appreciated that wired LAN is available, which has become less common recently.

All the front desk staff were cheerful and wonderful! The Hotel and the room were clean and hygienic, so I felt comfortable staying there. If I have another opportunity, I would like to stay at APA Hotel again.

I stayed here for 20,000 yen, hoping it would be worth it for my certification exam. Check-in was done by entering information on a tablet placed in front of mannequins. Although I selected "Japanese" as the language at the beginning, messages kept appearing in English. I proceeded by guessing and managed to sign using my finger when I couldn't find a stylus pen. After completing the input, nothing happened until an employee appeared from a side door and guided me verbally. I was directed to another machine to pay the Tokyo accommodation tax of 200 yen in cash, though I wished everything could have been settled by card. The coin slot on this machine was hard to locate until the same employee pointed it out for me. It made me appreciate human receptionists more than ever. The mannequins standing at reception did nothing helpful; they seemed out of place and gave off an Osaka-style vibe despite being located in central Tokyo (Akasaka branch). While some families checking in nearby seemed amused by them, I thought fully automating with high-tech machines might have been a better direction than placing these figures. Breakfast was included with my stay and served buffet-style at an Irish pub on the first floor. The menu was simple but delicious. The room felt like a standard business hotel room equipped with newer facilities such as a suit cleaner—likely targeting business travelers—but I didn’t use it myself. The air conditioning noise or toilet water refilling sound didn’t bother me, making for a comfortable stay overall but nothing extraordinary. Even with discounts applied, 20,000 yen felt expensive—probably due to timing and location factors. Thank you for hosting me!

Affordable and conveniently located near the interchange, the free dinner curry was a highlight. However, it unfortunately ended in late August 2025 due to rising costs. I would gladly pay a slightly higher accommodation fee if it could be reinstated. The service was standard for a Business Hotel—neither exceptional nor disappointing—but overall, my impression was positive.

I used to make Reservations through Toribaco and Hotel.com, but recently local payment has no longer been available. This was my first time booking through this site, and I was able to pay after arriving at the Hotel. I arrived using my car navigation system, but since I was driving, I passed by the entrance. When I called the Hotel, they kindly guided me in detail and directed me all the way to the parking lot, so I arrived safely. After check-in, I was delighted to receive one free beer at the restaurant. Being able to have a second beer for ¥300 or more is a great deal. I stayed in a smoking room, but when I entered, it was a bit hard to figure out how to operate the air conditioner. Breakfast was delicious with seasoning that suited my age (Kansai-style flavors). I would like to stay here again in the future.

I stayed here for the Shizuoka Marathon. Since it was the event day, the room rate was fairly high, but they offered luggage storage and complimentary bottled water for marathon participants, which was very thoughtful. I had a comfortable stay.

This was my first time staying at a container Hotel, including a Multiple Night Stay here and another one in Kofu. The air conditioning worked properly, and the Room was clean and tidy. There’s no large public bath, of course, but I’m fine with the unit bath—I like relaxing in the tub while watching videos on my phone. Coming and going from the Room is easy without worrying about others, and since the parking lot is right in front, loading and unloading luggage is simple. It was actually quieter and more comfortable than a typical Hotel. Meals are limited to frozen bento only, so it feels very basic. If your main goal is simply to rest your body, it’s more than sufficient.

Thank you for taking such good care of us. My child arrived before I did, and you kindly allowed them to check in first, which was a huge help. Thank you very much. We stayed for my child’s tournament, and they won 3rd place! We’d love to stay again if we have the chance—next time, we’ll try the meals too!

I booked a Multiple Night Stay for two nights for a family member who was hospitalized at Jikei University Hospital. It was about a 7-minute walk from the hospital, which was close and convenient. The Room felt a bit small, and the bathroom was also small. There is a FamilyMart and My Basket nearby, which was also nice.

After the marathon, I entered the large public bath. The changing room is quite small and can get crowded with 3 or 4 people, but it was still nice to relax in the spacious bathtub. It's unfortunate that it will be closed at the end of February. The convenience store, new downtown area, and bus terminal are also nearby, making it very convenient.

I’ve tried several nearby Business Hotels, but this Hotel offers the best value for the price, and it has recently become my regular choice. As others have mentioned, all the staff are pleasant and welcoming. Soundproofing is also decent. Personally, I like that there is a water dispenser on each floor (instead of complimentary bottled water), disposable slippers are provided, the shower water pressure is strong, and the roller shade plus curtains can completely block outside light (since I tend to wake up late). Also, while many Business Hotels have a 10:00 check-out time, this one is 11:00. I’d like to thank the staff for supporting such a comfortable stay.

This time, I visited Kashiwazaki Station again for the first time in 42 years for a class reunion. After the banquet, I came back, took a shower, and was able to sleep comfortably. The Room also had a calm atmosphere. It was great.

We stayed for one night during Golden Week. Thank you for arranging Rooms on the same floor as our friends. As it’s close to the station, we were concerned about noise, but with the double windows and earplugs we were able to stay comfortably without being bothered by sound. The Room and toilet were thoroughly cleaned and very spotless. When we visit Osaka again, we would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much.

I stayed here alone while hiking Mt. Jogatake. The building is certainly old, but the Room was equipped with various high-tech devices, a keypad lock, an automatic trash can, and drip coffee—there were lots of thoughtful touches, and it was very comfortable. However, my first impression upon entering the Room was a strong, hard-to-describe odor, so I ventilated it right away. Maybe that’s unavoidable given the age of the building. I’d definitely like to stay again! Also, the gyoza croquettes at Nozakiya next door were delicious—highly recommended.

The self check-in/check-out machine in front of the front desk made the process straightforward. The Room was quite old, but I didn’t notice any issues. It’s close to the station, and although we skipped breakfast this time, there was a café nearby so it wasn’t a problem.

I stayed here and had a good experience. After check-in, I received a frozen meal, which was a nice value. The Room was clean and there were no particular issues. However: 1) The map showing the smoking area was hard to understand. 2) There were insects around the outdoor light at the entrance, so I was concerned they might come in when opening the door.
