It was excellent. There were four highlights in particular. 1. Riverside dining. Eating near the river has a wonderful atmosphere. You hear frogs and birds, and their sounds change over time. The sound of the rapids stays constant while subtly shifting. As it gets darker outside, the overall colors gradually change. Lights come on. Even the air changes—what feels bright and cheerful becomes cooler and refreshingly crisp. It’s fascinating how, compared with the start of the meal, it can feel as if you’ve moved to a completely different place. In that setting, dish after dish is served—luxurious, plentiful, and delicious. And after having some drinks and getting pleasantly tipsy, by the time it hits you the scenery around you has transformed as well, which adds even more charm to the experience. 2. Fireflies in flight. About a one-minute walk from the Accommodation, we were able to see many fireflies. The path is very dark, so you need to be careful—darker than expected. Countless fireflies were flying through the space between a bridge and the river below it. Some even came within about a meter right in front of us. We could clearly see them flying—and we saw so many of them. The swirling dance of blinking lights conveys something mysterious about life itself. 3. Private Onsen baths. There are four private Onsen baths, and every one was wonderful. I think the water quality is excellent—a slightly sulfur-scented Onsen. It’s my favorite type of water quality personally; I don’t find places like Shuzenji, Izunokuni (Izu-Nagaoka), Yugawara, or Izu-Kogen quite as good for my taste, but I really liked Yugashima’s Onsen. 4. The river view from our Room terrace. Even more than the view itself, hearing all the natural outdoor sounds—including the flow of the river—was incredibly soothing. I brought a Mozart DVD and asked staff to prepare a DVD player for me, but while listening to Yugashima’s river and nature sounds I completely forgot to watch opera at all. There wasn’t anything negative in particular.

It’s conveniently close to the station and a convenience store, which is a big help. I’m also truly grateful that the prices have been kept the same. I bring my own wash towel (sponge?) for bathing and my own hangers. The other day I saw a guest returning several hangers to the front desk, so I realized they’ll accommodate you if you ask. There’s a refrigerator on the 1st floor, and they can even freeze sports drinks bought at the convenience store. (At last year’s Expo, I held onto a frozen drink to get through long waits in the blazing heat.) This Hotel has thoughtful touches that make it feel like home.

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 children. Using a coupon made it very affordable. The hostess (?) gave a rather reserved impression. The Accommodation felt a bit old, and the TV was small. I thought we might be able to enjoy some hot tea, but there was no tea provided. I figured that was understandable given the low price. Breakfast was very satisfying!

The staff were kind and attentive. The Room was spacious and comfortable. I wished the bath could have been available one hour earlier in the morning, but I was able to use it at night at a relaxed pace, and I slept very well. Thank you.

This was my first stay, and the food and Onsen were excellent! It’s an Onsen Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

From check-in to check-out, all the staff were consistently kind, and the service was impeccable. The Facility was new and well equipped, making our stay very comfortable. While the location is not particularly convenient for transportation, there is a Shuttle Service to the nearest station, so we did not feel much inconvenience. Overall, it is a wonderful Onsen Ryokan that we would definitely like to visit again.

Everything was excellent. We had both dinner and breakfast. You could really feel the chef’s attention to detail. It was delicious! The rice was especially great! Free beer was the best!

I stayed here with my boyfriend because we wanted to try dome glamping. The ocean view from the Room and the Onsen was amazing!! The staff explained everything carefully, and everyone was so kind—it really impressed us!! The BBQ at night was also very generous, with plenty of vegetables, seafood, and meat. The grillable cheese was unbelievably delicious—I was already full, but I still ended up finishing a whole wheel by myself!! (I’d love it if you could make the grillable cheesecake available to buy online too!!) On top of that, alcohol was free with all-you-can-drink... On the drive back, my boyfriend and I were saying, “With this much food and value, is this price really okay? Are they making a profit?” lol We were completely satisfied with both the price and what was included. It was our first trip to Ibaraki, and it became a wonderful memory!! We’ll definitely come again!! Thank you so much!!

My husband and I stayed one night in the Nadeshiko Room. The Accommodation is quite far from the familiar sights of residential areas and shops, but it’s in a wonderful location surrounded by the greenery of Takayama Village. After seeing Raiden Falls, we were truly moved by the nature there. The Accommodation isn’t large and has a historic feel, but the interior has been nicely renovated. After check-in, simply relaxing in the lobby with a bowl of matcha while looking out at the trees right in front of us was incredibly soothing. The Nadeshiko Room we stayed in was especially spacious and barrier-free, so we could unwind comfortably. This time it was just the two of us and we’re still doing fine physically, but with this layout, we felt we could come back even when we’re older—and also imagined how nice it would be to visit with our son and his wife. Above all, the Onsen was absolutely amazing! We’ve stayed at many Onsen Accommodations, but here we could soak in a free-flowing hot spring bath with yunohana floating on the surface while enjoying seasonal views through the window. With its size and cleanliness, this Onsen is hands down our best experience ever. We were informed in advance, but the water temperature is quite hot, so if you prefer a milder bath you may need to adjust it. The meals were simple yet delicious dishes that made great use of ingredients unique to a mountain Ryokan—everything felt wholesome and nourishing. The river fish had no odor and tasted great; however, since there are only a few Rooms, I would have loved it served more freshly grilled. It was slightly firm, so my husband wondered if it might have been smoked. Overall, it was an ideal Accommodation for escaping everyday noise and spending time at ease. Choosing this place from all the options we researched before our trip was absolutely the right decision. Thank you very much.

I stayed with my husband and 4-year-old son as a family of three in August. The exterior feels a bit old, but the room and the hotel were clean, and the food, service, and onsen were excellent. We had a very comfortable stay with our son. This is definitely a hotel we want to stay at again!

It was nice that this small Accommodation was quiet and peaceful. The Onsen had a gentle sulfur scent and natural mineral deposits, which felt good for the skin. Meals were served in a private dining room, so we could relax without worrying about others.

It was cool, and there were both a lukewarm free-flowing Onsen (the source is around 38°C) and a slightly heated bath, which made it perfect for a summer getaway. The meals were also delicious, with just the right portions. In particular, the tea and the aroma of freshly grated wasabi were wonderful—honestly, just rice with wasabi and ochazuke might be the best. It felt like a real treat. Maybe everything tastes better because the water is so pure. Since I went into the Onsen several times, I wished there were extra towels available, and I personally noticed a slight odor on the pillow, so I’m deducting one star—but my companion didn’t mind at all and was very satisfied with the spacious Room. Personally, I think a slightly smaller Room here would have been fine too, even with meals in a shared dining hall (it’s easier on the budget, and somehow that feels more in keeping with this Accommodation’s atmosphere). The view is beautiful, and it seems like you could enjoy the scenery right in front of you in any season.

This is my second stay. The service, bath, and room cleanliness were more than sufficient for a business hotel. I forgot something when I left, but they contacted me and sent it right away. I will use this hotel again.

Despite the low price, the Room was clean, and being able to take off my shoes and relax on the carpet in a Western-style Room was incredibly comfortable. The washing machine and dryer were free to use, and they even stored my ice packs in the freezer for me. Breakfast was also excellent, with both bread and rice available, plus several kinds of side dishes. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was very satisfied. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. It’s a shame there’s no large public bath, but other than that, there’s nothing to complain about.

This is my third stay this year, and it’s my regular Accommodation in Nara. As always, it was a comfortable space and I had a very fulfilling time. This time, I was also able to visit the art exhibition being held in the Hotel’s social lounge, which made me very satisfied. I’ll visit again at some point later this year. Thank you as always.

Because it is close to To-ji Temple, we chose to stay here. The front desk staff kindly provided detailed guidance on the parking area, advised us that we might need an umbrella based on the evening weather forecast, explained how to get to sightseeing spots, and gave a thorough overview of the Facility. We stayed here for sightseeing in Kyoto with my father and had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also delicious. The large public bath was wonderful as well—it felt great after a long day of walking. In the morning, my father and I were able to take a walk to To-ji Temple, and we enjoyed a great trip in Kyoto together as parent and child. Thank you very much. For these reasons, I give 5 stars across the board.

The Room was spacious and clean, and I was very satisfied, but I would have liked a wash basin in the in-room bath. The Hotel was so large that it felt like a maze—maybe that’s just because of my age. It was very convenient for visiting Shima Spain Village Park. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Western and Japanese dishes. This year, I also enjoyed the Himawari Bath. I’d like to visit again next year.

I stayed here on the day of the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival. Even though my Shinkansen arrived late, you came to pick me up, which was a great help. Also, being able to use the large public bath 24 hours a day was perfect for soothing my tired body. Staying at NASPA New Otani made this a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

I usually stayed at ◯◯◯ Hotel, but this was my first time staying at Allore Hotel. Overall, it was a great choice! The breakfast salad was fresh and not frozen. However, I would have preferred the fish to be grilled. It seemed like there were no foreign guests, which is an important point for me personally. Thank you very much! I look forward to staying again if I have the chance.

I stayed here to visit the Yokohama Dinosaur Expo. It was a bit far from Pacifico Yokohama, and traveling in midsummer was tough, but I made a Reservation because it seemed much more affordable than the Hotels around the bay area. Some Reviews felt a little harsh, but I assumed that was to be expected for a reasonably priced place. However, once I stayed there, it was better than I expected. The Japanese-Western style Room we used was very spacious and comfortable. The Room was generally clean, and the bathroom was also clean. Having the toilet and bath separated was very helpful. The lighting in the Room felt a bit dim, but I went to sleep quickly at night so it wasn’t an issue. Also, since this Hotel is located in an entertainment district with many bars, we could hear quite a lot of noise from outside late at night, but I fell asleep easily so it didn’t bother me. I would like to stay here again.
