We stayed for one night with breakfast and dinner included. We originally planned to stay with No Meals Included, but after reading the Reviews we changed to the two-meal plan. Just as the Reviews said, the crab, Korean dishes, and breakfast were all amazing. The portions were more than generous, everything was delicious, and we were very satisfied. The owner told us what time the sun would set, and we were able to watch it from a spot just a short walk from the Hotel. The washing area in the bath was tatami-matted, which felt surprisingly comfortable. The Hotel itself may be a bit old-fashioned, but our Room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Music that people in their 40s and 50s likely listened to when they were younger was playing throughout the building, which I personally really enjoyed as well. As mentioned in other Reviews, the owner was very friendly and easygoing, so we had a great time. Using points let us stay at a great price—excellent value for money. This is an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again with breakfast and dinner included when visiting Yamagata.

Even though it was Golden Week, we were able to make a Reservation, so this was our first stay here. It turned into a wonderful trip and we were very satisfied. We could feel the attention to detail in every item, from the ornaments in the Hotel to the small touches in the guest Room. The wallpaper in our Room was especially lovely. All of the staff were friendly while also giving us just the right amount of space, which made us feel at ease. The large public bath on the 3rd floor, including the open-air bath, was kept at a comfortable temperature that made it easy to stay in for a long time. The changing area was thoroughly cleaned and felt very hygienic. We bathed before dinner and again before breakfast, and it felt great. We also appreciated that bathing is available from 5:00 a.m. We had dinner at the restaurant in the neighboring Facility. With the short course—from appetizers to soup, main dish, and dessert—everything was delicious. We had also asked the Hotel in advance for a Mother’s Day surprise dessert plate, and the restaurant staff handled it perfectly. My mother was delighted, and we were happy as well. Thank you for helping create such a wonderful memory. Breakfast was served inside the Hotel; the egg dish had a gentle flavor, and the salad served in jars featured fresh vegetables and tasted great. Thank you very much for everything—it became a truly special memory. At checkout, you kept safe an earring I had forgotten in the changing area and checked with all guests until it finally made its way back to me. I’m sorry for any trouble this caused. Your thoughtful response meant a lot to us. After that, we were also happy to run into someone from your front desk again at “Hatsukoi no Oka Cafe,” part of your group that has recently started operating. We would love to visit again in another season. Thank you very much.

One night, two days, for one person. I was picked up from Yokoze Station by the Shuttle Service on a rainy evening. With a typhoon forecast (it turned out to be just normal rain), the Accommodation was quiet. I headed straight to the bath, and from the open-air bath the trees felt close; the gentle sound of rain was beautiful. It was a wonderful soak surrounded by nature. At dinner, I enjoyed warm sake along with beautifully prepared appetizers and warm river fish dishes. The carrot tofu and sobagaki tempura were unlike anything I’d had before—truly delicious. The vegetable tempura and wild boar were also outstanding. I was completely full after the mountain-vegetable mixed rice and handmade udon, and then dessert left me even more satisfied. Even so, I ordered late-night snacks in my Room—miso potatoes, grilled rice balls, and fruit liqueur. Strangely enough, despite being so full, I woke up hungry in the morning. Another rainy open-air bath before breakfast made it an amazing one-night stay. Thank you very much. If possible, it would be even better if non-smoking Rooms were available for solo guests as well—I wouldn’t mind paying an additional fee. Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind; thank you for such a wonderful time.

I previously stayed at “KKR Kyoto” and liked it very much, so this time I chose “KKR Dogo.” 1) About a 10-minute walk to Dogo Onsen. 2) Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and excellent. After all, one of the best parts of traveling is the food, and I was very satisfied. However, at breakfast I would have appreciated an explanation about getting refills of rice. Overall: five stars.

Our stay coincided with Typhoon No. 9. Normally, dinner requires a Reservation, but since going out or ordering delivery was difficult, they kindly provided a special Okinawa soba dinner for us. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the sauna, pool, or the starry sky we had been looking forward to, but thanks to the friendly staff, all-you-can-drink beverages and snacks, and the jacuzzi, we had a very satisfying stay.

We stayed here after viewing the cherry blossoms in Miharu. It’s a small, standalone Accommodation, but the hospitality was wonderful! The bath is private for each Room, spacious, and available 24 hours. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that let you soak in the Onsen while using a face mask. As expected from an auberge, every dish was refined and delicious. We were also very satisfied with the pickles at breakfast. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again!

We stayed for 1 night with 2 adults on a birthday trip for my partner. We chose the Plan with a private chef service, and a local island chef made sushi right in front of us. He was friendly and kind, so we could enjoy the meal while chatting—it was a truly special experience. The food tasted exceptional, the portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. After dinner, we had drinks at the Kura BAR. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, there is a great selection of soft drinks, so you can feel at ease. We tried drinks unique to Shodoshima, and they were delicious. The Accommodation’s Facility is not only spacious—every corner is stylish and beautiful, and you can really feel the owner’s attention to detail. There are four bedrooms; we couldn’t use them all with just two people, but we used two rooms—one for naps and one for sleeping at night. While our meal was being prepared, relaxing in the tatami room while listening to cicadas was simply perfect. The stone bath is also large. It takes about an hour to fill with hot water, but the owner filled it for us during dinner time—his kindness warmed our hearts as well. With the window open, a pleasant breeze came in through the bath area. The morning bath was wonderful too, with sunlight streaming in. It seems you’re allowed to harvest any vegetables from the garden field as well—we picked four tomatoes in the morning. They were crisp and tasty! The fruit prepared for breakfast was sweet too. Having breakfast while looking out at the garden was truly one of a kind. More than anything else, what made us glad we chose this Accommodation was the owner’s personality. Even during Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off he responded flexibly to our needs, which helped us so much. He is very knowledgeable; whenever we asked questions about the island he could answer anything. He laughed that “the birds will eat them,” referring to his vegetables—I felt he has such a calm nature (in a good way). He also took several commemorative photos for us—and he’s genuinely great at taking pictures! You can really sense his taste there too. In any case, he is incredibly kind and offers far more hospitality than I can possibly fit into one Review…! If I have another chance to visit Shodoshima, I would love to stay at Oyashiki Stay Sachi again. One night wasn’t enough—next time I hope we can stay two nights.

We stayed with my sister’s family and our parents, bringing three children. Even though it was summer vacation and the children’s rates were very affordable, the kids’ dinner set was very generous, and the children were thrilled! We also appreciated being able to use the bath 24 hours a day, and above all, dinner was absolutely delicious! The portions were huge, and we were completely full. Thank you very much!

I joined this Hotel’s stargazing event. After dinner, starting at 8:00 PM in the main hall, the director of a nearby observatory gave a slideshow talk about the night sky. All guests received an observation-event brochure and, as a gift, a wonderful photo taken in front of the Hotel by a local photographer. For the outdoor observation session, the Hotel blocked light from its windows, so we could clearly see the Milky Way. It was an ideal time to watch the Perseid meteor shower, and thanks to clear skies we saw many shooting stars. With plenty of explanations from the director as well, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The Room was bright with a great view, spacious and clean—an extraordinary, non-everyday space that truly made us feel we were on a trip. It was an east-facing Room where we could even see the sunrise. The bath was also very relaxing! The meals were excellent as well, especially the sashimi. We stayed three nights at Hotels of a similar or higher level, but this Accommodation gave us the highest overall satisfaction. The coffee served at breakfast was also a much-appreciated service. When we visit Beppu again, we would definitely like to stay here. To maintain good service, it felt like efforts are being made to reduce costs in areas such as amenities. That is completely understandable given the current circumstances, however, not having towels or cups prepared for children was inconvenient, so we would like to see this improved.

For our first night in Kyoto, we wanted to go bar-hopping, so we chose the RIHGA Royal Hotel near the station. There is a free Shuttle Service at certain times, but it’s only a 7–8 minute walk. From the welcome to being shown to our Room, the service was excellent. A fully separated bath and toilet is a must for us, so the Japanese-Western style Room was perfect. The bathtub is very spacious—comfortable even for men to stretch out—and it doesn’t take long to fill. Another big plus: two bath towels per person, two face towels per person, and bathrobes provided. The Room was also spotless and very well maintained. We checked out early in the morning, and they kindly accommodated us. It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again.

My spouse and I stayed for two nights with our dog. Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style, and the selection was plentiful—everything was delicious. Because dining times are set at check-in, we didn’t have to deal with crowds or difficulty getting food. Dishes were replenished frequently, so we were very satisfied with the meals. The large public bath was also great. While the Facilities overall feel a bit dated, there are updated areas such as a sauna and a round single-person bath. Everything was very clean, making it a pleasure to use. Since it was summer, the pool in the garden was open. Families with children were using it; it’s quite large, with a small trampoline nearby and plenty of chairs poolside—both parents and kids should be very happy. The garden is adjacent to a sculpture park, which connects onward to Lake Tateshina. Over three days, we enjoyed walking our dog while viewing sculptures in the park and circling Lake Tateshina—we never ran out of places to stroll. As for the Room in the dog-friendly building: the interior is somewhat plain, but it was well cleaned, had a kitchen, and we stayed comfortably. It would be nice if you could provide towels for dogs. Lastly, everyone—from the front desk staff to the restaurant team—was warm and welcoming. This Hotel has wonderful surroundings (parks and a lake) and feels like one of the highest-potential Hotels in Tateshina. Even so, keeping prices lower than other nearby Hotels while maintaining that level of service and Facilities must take tremendous effort. I hope this historic Hotel continues for many years to come. We will definitely stay again with our dog. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

After a business trip to another prefecture, I came to Nagoya. I stayed for two nights three years ago and everything was comfortable, so this time I returned and made a Reservation at this Hotel without hesitation. I was offered an upgrade and stayed for two nights on the top 36th floor in a Premium Junior Suite King (Nagoya Station side). There were two of us (a child and me), but we booked as two adults rather than Child Sharing Existing Bedding because meals and other items would incur additional charges. The Room was incredibly spacious, and my child was thrilled! Even when we went out, we couldn’t wait to get back to the Hotel Room—it was that comfortable, and we had the happiest time. If I could make one request, I would have liked to watch streaming services such as Prime Video (with my own subscription) in the Room. We also had breakfast and dinner included for both nights, so we were able to enjoy the Wednesday-only butter-grilled abalone, which we both loved. However, on the second day the menu other than the abalone was exactly the same, so it would have been nice if there were even small changes every other day. I had planned to buy LEGOLAND tickets through Asoview!, but instead purchased them at the Hotel front desk. We were able to buy them at a discount and also received a LEGO minifigure as a gift. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such an exceptionally comfortable stay—I can’t express enough gratitude (tears). We plan to visit Nagoya again next year, and I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again.

There is no bathtub, but the massage chair and rain shower were very relaxing. The area is convenient, with many commercial facilities nearby and the station within easy reach.

I usually stay at a Hotel connected to Sapporo Station, but this was my first time here. The staff at the breakfast venue in the morning were very attentive, and the selection of dishes was extensive—everything tasted excellent. I stayed for two nights and never got bored; there were so many options I couldn’t decide what to choose. The automatic pancake machine pancakes were surprisingly better than those at Japanese chain Hotels in Tokyo. The Onsen Facility was so good that I used it many times. This will be my go-to Accommodation whenever I visit Sapporo.

Set in the historic Onsen town of Asama Onsen, this was an Accommodation that lets you enjoy not just “staying at an Accommodation,” but truly “staying in the town.” The map we received at check-in was wonderful, and with it in hand we used the Accommodation as our base to stroll around the Onsen town. Rather than everything being contained within the Accommodation, thoughtful touches make the entire town part of the journey—and even Asama Onsen’s gentle atmosphere became a cherished memory. The interior is refined yet relaxed, creating a comfortable space where you can unwind without pretense. The 24-hour book space is full of clever details that make even non-readers want to pick up a book. Our child was absorbed in the ball pit, and it felt like a place where both adults and children could enjoy their own time. The open-air bath in our room was excellent, but one of this Accommodation’s unique pleasures was taking a bucket and heading out to the public bath “Koyanagi-no-Yu.” The Onsen water is soft on the skin and warms you through to your core long after your soak—so soothing you’ll want to return again and again. Dinner was an immersive experience: watching the chef finish each dish right in front of us at the open kitchen while expertly working over a wood fire. The fragrant smokiness brought out each ingredient’s natural appeal, and every plate reflected careful craftsmanship. Centered on local ingredients, the cuisine isn’t about competing for extravagance—it values savoring this land’s climate and seasons with all five senses. It stayed with us as an experience you can only have here. The curated shop inside was also appealing. It carried Okubo Brewery seasonings used at dinner as well as Jiyujin original items, making souvenir shopping fun. We were happy to buy some granola we had at breakfast so we could relive a bit of our trip back home. The staff were warm and genuine; rather than excessive service, their unobtrusive support—being there exactly when needed—felt especially comfortable. More than for those seeking flashy luxury typical of an Onsen Ryokan, this is an Accommodation I’d recommend to anyone who wants “true richness” and who wants to enjoy staying itself while connecting with local culture. Above all, true to an Accommodation created by Jiyujin, we could feel throughout our stay their commitment not just to this single place but to carrying Asama Onsen as a whole into the future. Visiting with that context makes time spent here feel even more special. It’s an Accommodation that made us want to return in another season—to meet a different face of this town.

Above all, the staff were wonderful. No matter where we passed them, they always greeted us, and the front desk staff were very attentive. The Room was also kept very clean. Even the top of the lockers in the changing area had been cleaned. Thank you for your excellent hospitality.

I stayed at Harton because I didn’t want to head back to the suburbs on a crowded Friday-night train, still drenched in sweat after a live show in Odaiba with my son. It turned out to be a great decision! After the concert, we didn’t have to rush home—we enjoyed dinner at a relaxed pace and then reached the Hotel on a less crowded train. I often stay at relatively nice Hotels these days, so of course the Room and Facility felt more basic by comparison, but above all, this location and excellent access were a huge advantage. I also bought breakfast tickets afterward; the selection was standard, but even on Saturday morning it wasn’t too crowded, so we could take our time. On top of that, we didn’t need to rush at checkout either, and we were able to start the weekend slowly. Thank you!

I stayed here a year ago. Last time, there was a water outage early in the morning, so I couldn’t use the toilet or even wash my face—it was very difficult. This time, I’ll write a proper review. First of all, thank you very much for accommodating an additional guest at short notice on the day. The extra bed was absolutely fine. The Room was spacious, had a great view, and above all was very clean. The large public bath was also wonderful. I could relax in the small room with massage chairs as well. My top recommendation is the breakfast. It’s on a completely different level from nearby Business Hotels—excellent. The value for money is outstanding. I honestly can’t believe you can stay at this price. It may be slightly more expensive than nearby Business Hotels, but I was very satisfied. I’m sure I’ll stay again next time. That said, the gym area is modest, and there were times when the Wi‑Fi connection was unstable. Still—yes, absolutely—I will stay again. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for a comfortable stay the other day. The Room was very clean, and the staff were courteous and attentive. I was extremely satisfied and would love to stay again. There is just one point I noticed. The TV in the guest Room seems to have a maximum volume limit set at 25, which was perfectly fine for regular TV broadcasts. However, when playing streaming services such as Netflix, the audio is relatively quiet to begin with, so even at the maximum of 25 it did not become loud enough, and I found it difficult to hear clearly. I understand that setting a volume limit is likely out of consideration for other Rooms, so I think it is generally fine as it is. That said, if a guest requests to watch streaming content, allowing the volume limit to be raised slightly only during that stay (if possible) might make things more comfortable for many guests. This is just one suggestion, but I would appreciate your consideration. Although there was one small concern regarding the Facility equipment, overall it was still a very satisfying stay.
