We enjoyed the Onsen and the cuisine again this year. Especially during meals, the staff chatted with us and showed such thoughtful care, making it a wonderful travel memory. We hope to visit again next year.

Breakfast offered a great variety, and the cute tableware made it even more enjoyable—it was delicious. Also, from 5:00 PM you can enjoy free-flow drinks in the lounge, which made it excellent value for money.

We are always very satisfied with the pleasant hospitality, delicious meals, and relaxing Onsen. This time, we chose the teppanyaki dinner course for the first time, and it was delicious and very satisfying. It made us want to visit again right away, so as soon as we returned home, we promptly made our next Reservation. We look forward to staying with you again.

Blessed with beautiful weather, we had a wonderful stay in an elegant sukiya-style setting. The welcome drink—Alain Milliat juice—was so delicious that we couldn’t resist having a second glass. The hotel’s signature lemon cake was also excellent, and we bought one as a souvenir. From both the room and the dining area, we enjoyed expansive ocean views stretching out to Hatsushima and Izu Oshima, creating a wonderfully open atmosphere. Dining while taking in such magnificent scenery was truly exceptional. My husband enjoyed the wine pairing, and thanks to the staff kindly adjusting my course portions to be smaller, I was able to savor every dish through to the end. They also packed the final dessert for takeaway in an adorable box, which was a thoughtful touch. The bath in our room felt like an open-air bath when we opened the window; with perfect weather, it was incredibly relaxing. With stunning views, delicious cuisine, and attentive hospitality throughout, it was a memorable stay that left us feeling refreshed. We would love to visit again.

I visited after a long time. I could only book the Connect Twin before, but since it was a weekday, I was able to stay in the Wide View Twin again. The large windows offering expansive views of the sea and city were wonderful! The Room also had a massage chair. The public bath was as great as ever, providing a relaxing experience. The shampoo and other amenities were different from before, but they didn’t cause any dryness or irritation, which was reassuring. There was also a Refa hair dryer available. Please note that there is no sauna for women in the morning. Breakfast offers a choice between Japanese and Western set meals, with unlimited refills of salad, rice, bread, coffee, etc., making it very satisfying. It seemed like most guests chose the Japanese set meal; I opted for the Western one and appreciated that freshly grilled sausages were brought to my table when they ran out initially. The Himi Udon noodles were also delicious! Parking is convenient if you arrive early enough—you can park on Hotel’s 1st floor or at the flat lot across from it. Even if those are full, the municipal parking isn’t too far away either. It was an excellent stay with great value for money and left me feeling very satisfied overall. The staff provided exceptionally pleasant service throughout my visit. Oh yes—the complimentary coffee service on the 1st floor is much appreciated! Because of this amenity, having only powdered tea in Room wasn’t an issue at all. Thank you very much!

I have been staying here during my summer trips home since the year before last. The Room is spacious and the amenities are more than sufficient, and above all, the breakfast is excellent. There is a wide variety of dishes, all of them delicious, so my children were very satisfied as well. Having a coin laundry nearby was also very helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

This time, we stayed in a Room with a sauna. We have stayed here about four times so far, and every visit is comfortable in every way. It is our favorite Accommodation, and we always choose it whenever we stay in Arima. The beautifully arranged flowers throughout the building and the tastefully displayed artwork are wonderful—you can’t help but stop and admire them. A quiet, refined atmosphere fills the entire space, and simply being here naturally helps you unwind. The sauna Room was also very comfortable, allowing us to relax at our own pace in a private setting. Not overly flashy yet thoughtfully maintained down to the smallest details, this is a truly lovely Accommodation that perfectly embodies “small luxury.” We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Arima.

We stayed as a family of three. From check-in onward, the explanations and guidance were excellent, and the service was wonderful. We planned to use the parking lot, but we were told it was not available after check-out, and they kindly directed us to a nearby Chinatown parking lot. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and there were welcome drinks and alcohol as well—everything was thoughtfully provided. It’s a Hotel we would like to stay at again if we have the chance. Thank you very much.

I stayed for 24 hours with breakfast included. The Facility was clean, all the staff were very pleasant, and parking was free! It’s not an Onsen, but there is a large public bath with jet features, and it was very clean. I don’t think you can find this level of service at this price anywhere else! If I had to mention one small downside, the breakfast side dishes weren’t warm... but at this price, I’m not dissatisfied at all! I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance!

The Accommodation has a nostalgic, retro feel while still being very stylish and lovely. This time we stayed in the “Japanese Twin with Terrace” Room—tatami flooring, low beds, and a deck terrace. What impressed me most was how comfortable the bed was! I was told it’s a Nishikawa Muatsu mattress, and it truly felt amazing—I slept unbelievably well. The pillow was also excellent, and I completely fell in love with the bedding. I’d like to use the same one at home, so I would really appreciate it if you could tell me which type of Muatsu it is. The Onsen was wonderful as well. All three private baths had their own unique charm and were beautiful. The large public bath was also very relaxing—I ended up going in many times during our stay. As soon as you soak in the Onsen, your body warms up right away. The water feels soft, and your skin becomes moisturized and silky smooth. I also loved that bath towels were provided at the baths, so you can always use a clean one. Truly excellent therapeutic bathing. Unfortunately it rained this time—but because of that, we were able to take our time at the Accommodation, soak in the Onsen slowly, and enjoy doing nothing. We chose a Plan with 12:00 checkout, so we didn’t have to rush in the morning and could enjoy the Onsen until the very end. And then—the meals. Absolutely no complaints. Each dish was carefully prepared and beautifully presented. It was a meal where you can truly enjoy every course for what it is. And something I’ll never forget: draft Yebisu beer! After it arrived, the foam gradually rose up into a rich head—it looked delicious even before tasting. And when I tried it… it really was incredible. I honestly thought there aren’t many places where draft beer tastes this good—it moved me. This “Joshu Beef & Gunma’s Blessings / Three Free Private Open-Air Baths / 12:00 Checkout / A Nostalgic Holiday” Plan was absolutely perfect for me. Shima Onsen in the rain is wonderful too. Soak in the Onsen, eat well, drink well—and sleep incredibly well. In this charming retro Accommodation, I had an amazing time that relaxed both my mind and body. All of the staff were pleasant as well, and the overall atmosphere throughout the Accommodation felt very comfortable. We felt great from start to finish during our stay. The Onsen, meals, bedding—and above all else—the warm hospitality from everyone on staff. Everything felt so comfortable that this is an Accommodation I definitely want to stay at again.

Considering the price, everything was acceptable. However, this isn’t the Hotel’s fault, but by 5 p.m. almost everything in the tourist area—including restaurants—was closed. The downside was that once it got dark, there was little choice but to spend time in the Room. I suppose there must be some kind of agreement among the local merchants.

Probably the closest Hotel to Soga Station, with excellent access. As noted on the Hotel’s website, the public bath is quite small: in the men’s area there are three washing stations, and the tub is only just large enough for three people at a squeeze. Since it’s open all night, I had no issues with crowds when I went late at night. The after-bath treats and late-night soba were provided as usual, just like at other Dormy Inn properties. The guest room felt a bit dated around the unit-bath area, but the room with a mini-kitchen-like setup was surprisingly convenient. I was also impressed by how well the air conditioning cooled. It’s a little away from central Chiba City, but that means it’s in a quiet area. Since the Keiyo Line starts here, being able to get a seat all the way to Kaihin-Makuhari or Maihama is a big plus.

The lounge is fantastic. The all-you-can-drink beer is irresistible. The Room is very spacious. However, the bathroom cleanliness was disappointing. The layout is also unusual, and it’s hard to figure out how to use it. Still, the location near Dotonbori is excellent. Eating your way through Sennichimae Shopping Street is great. There’s also a convenience store nearby. The parking lot is close and there were no issues. Up to 2,500 yen per day. Overall, it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

To celebrate my 60th birthday and my mother’s 90th, the four of us—my mother and three sisters—stayed for one night. In the request box I wrote, “Do you have celebratory chanchanko vests we could use?” thinking it was a long shot, but when we entered the room they had been properly prepared for us. I was truly touched, as I assumed they were only available with a special celebration plan. We were driving around to various places, and due to my carelessness my sister accidentally caught her finger in the car door. We couldn’t find a pharmacy, and even the convenience store didn’t have what we needed, so we were at a loss. When I consulted a male staff member at the front desk, he responded immediately and it was a huge help. Thanks to his quick first aid, the swelling seemed to go down considerably by the next day. Thank you very much. Everything at the buffet was delicious, and my mother—who doesn’t usually eat much—kept saying how good it was. When we asked staff at the venue to take photos, they kindly did so without hesitation, and everyone else was also very considerate. The staff member I met in the large public bath was friendly as well, and the water temperature was just perfect—it felt wonderful. It was two memorable days for us. Thank you again for everything.

This was my first stay in a year, and it was clean and comfortable. The temperature of the large public bath was just right for me. I fell asleep after coming back from drinks and missed the late-night soba, but it’s close to the shopping street with restaurants, and there’s a convenience store right in front, so it’s very convenient. In Abashiri, this would be my only choice personally.

This was my second stay. I love Onsen and visit many hot spring areas, and the water quality at Sakakibara Onsen is excellent. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the large public bath in the Accommodation is outstanding. Although it is a low-temperature bath, you can also soak in the natural spring source, and it leaves your skin smooth and silky. During the day, the day-use bath is open to non-staying guests as well. The age of the Facilities cannot be denied, but even so, it makes me want to come back again. This time I visited during firefly season. The Accommodation’s bus took us to a viewing spot that only locals would know. It seems there were fewer fireflies this year due to a typhoon, but it still felt more than enough. The guide was very kind and made it an enjoyable experience.

As I had only stayed at relatively large ryokan until now, it was a rare and wonderful experience to stay as if living in a Taisho-modern residence. The service was also perfect for me—I feel uncomfortable when there is too much attention, so being able to enjoy lounge drinks whenever I wanted was ideal, and yet whenever I asked for something, someone would promptly come out from the back and help. I think that’s why I was able to relax in this luxurious space as if it were my own home. The room and bath were both excellent, but above all the meals were outstanding—my elderly parents said it was the best they have ever had. The waiter in charge and the chef were friendly, we were given plenty of space at our table, and it became a truly special time. From the moment I tasted the first dish’s dashi at dinner, I knew this would be something special—and every dish through to the last was carefully prepared, exceeding our expectations. Breakfast goes without saying; it was wonderful as well. I would love to visit again. If I may make one request: thinking about my parents getting older in the future, it would be great if there were a Japanese-Western style room with regular beds rather than mattresses laid on the floor. If so, we could keep coming back for years to come!

It’s on the back side of Kokura Station. There are convenience stores nearby and bento shops, but there are hardly any restaurants. The front desk staff, the breakfast restaurant staff, and the cleaning staff were all friendly and pleasant. They offer unique services—there are manga available, and I was happy to get one free drink from the refrigerator. The Room key is a rod-and-key type that you insert at the entrance, and I struggled a bit at first with how to unlock it. The unit bath floor was very clean, so I had a comfortable stay.

This was my first stay, and it was a comfortable hotel with a spacious garden that also serves as a dog run. They offer rental sheets (200 yen) for dogs that may jump onto the bed, which I thought was a great idea because it eliminates the stress of worrying about the bedding. There were also dog amenities, and overall I felt it offered excellent value for the price. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

This was my first trip to Kumamoto. I was a bit worried after the earthquake, but the city itself didn’t seem much different. It was disappointing to see that part of Kumamoto Castle’s stone walls—within walking distance—had collapsed again. The hotel was convenient because it was right in front of my work venue, but due to the earthquake, many taxis were chartered by insurance companies and it was hard to hail one. However, there was a bus terminal directly across the street, so I made good use of buses. The complimentary coffee service—common at Dormy Inn—is always comfortable and appreciated. The large public bath on the top floor wasn’t very crowded and felt great. As you get older, a big bath really is nice. The Room was functional, but although the toilet seat had a washlet, only cold water came out. When I contacted the front desk they responded quickly, but afterward the warm-water light was on while only cold water still came out. On top of that, perhaps they forgot to reconnect the faucet chain during maintenance and I couldn’t operate the lever (I fixed this myself). Still, since the front desk response itself was good, I deducted one star (this might fall under Facility/amenities?). Depending on your destination and purpose of stay, I think it’s a very convenient location.
