This was our 12th stay. It’s one of our favorite Accommodations as a couple. We love being able to relax in a quiet place with nothing around. The Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would be happy if there were a small buffet, such as a salad bar, not only at breakfast but also at dinner. We had another very pleasant stay this time as well. We’d love to come again. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family trip with five people spanning four generations. When we entered the Hotel, there were welcome drinks and cookies. The Room had an ocean view and was very clean. The Room also had its own toilet and shower. We used both the observation bath on the 8th floor and the large public bath on the 1st floor, and both were very relaxing. The dinner buffet had a wide variety of dishes; the steak was tender, and we enjoyed plenty of crab as well. The all-you-can-drink option could be used starting from just one person, so not everyone in our group needed to add it. Breakfast also offered many choices, including freshly baked salted rolls and salmon, and we ended up eating too much. We brought my mother to celebrate her birthday as well as her 77th birthday milestone, and she was very happy. After checkout, it was nice that we could walk to the monkey botanical garden next door—our grandchild loved it too. We would definitely like to stay again.

The ocean is right in front of you. If the weather had been good, we would have enjoyed the beach, but with a typhoon approaching we couldn’t go outside, which was disappointing. The sound of the waves at night was also quite loud. We chose our dinner time at check-in. Breakfast can be taken at any time during the service hours, but seating seems to be first-come, first-served and it can get crowded depending on the time. There was a wide variety of breakfast dishes, which was great. Please note that the parking spaces and lanes are narrow, so extra care is needed.

This was my second stay, and this time I visited in summer. The Room was much larger than last time and seemed newly renovated—a Japanese-Western style Room with beds. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private room in a separate building, the same as before. This time it was a summer-style kaiseki featuring sweetfish (ayu). (In winter, it’s wild boar hot pot.) The open-air bath in the Room was also great. There are two large public baths; my favorite is the one with hot spring water cascading like a waterfall, which is used as the men’s bath at night and the women’s bath in the morning. I was even more satisfied than last time. Guests ranged from families with children to couples and married couples. Even the walk from the parking lot to the Room has a charming atmosphere, so I can recommend it. The service is very polite as well. (It seems staff change between dinner and breakfast—there were lots of “mom”-type staff members in the morning.) You’ll find tanuki figures all around. Also, the vending machines are reasonably priced, and it was nice that there were bottled drinks for each guest plus a thermos of iced water in the Room. (So you don’t need to buy water beforehand.) *Since you can’t tell the exact Room layout at Reservation, if you care about futons vs beds or whether there is a partition for the bath area, it may be best to call and confirm.* (The Room we had last time in February 2025 had futons, and if you opened the curtain by the open-air bath you could be seen. This time we had a Western-style bedroom with beds, and there was also a door/wooden screen by the open-air bath—so there were differences. It’s possible renovations have been done since then.)

A no-frills Hotel that provides just what you need. The front desk ensures clear communication. Perfect for business trips or solo travelers. Spacious parking and a simple yet delicious breakfast service.

I considered staying in the city of Gifu, but since parking was either multi-story or affiliated, I decided on a suburban accommodation. The hotel had entrances at both the front and back, which was convenient. However, it was difficult to locate using the car's navigation system. Other than that, I had a comfortable stay in a new and pleasant environment.

This was my first stay at Iwaso, and also my first time staying overnight on Miyajima. Every Ryokan has its own character; this one felt refined yet relaxed, and I truly enjoyed the escape from everyday life. The food was excellent, and the Onsen was wonderful.

We stayed for one night to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. All the staff were always smiling, and their service was polite and attentive, so we had a very comfortable and enjoyable time. Upon arrival, we were shown to a private room next to the lobby, where we enjoyed some tea and sweets while choosing yukata. The lobby also had books and a souvenir shop. On the rooftop terrace there was a footbath, and we could truly relax while looking out over Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains. We didn’t use them this time, but there was also a table tennis room (paid) and a kids’ room. The view from the open-air bath in our Room was amazing—I ended up soaking three times: on the first evening, at night, and again after breakfast on day two (haha). It seems they can also adjust the set temperature of the open-air bath upon request. In addition to the shower next to the open-air bath, there was also an indoor bathroom in the Room. I was happy that the hair dryer in the Room was ReFa. We had both dinner and breakfast during our stay. Both meals were served in the same private room we were shown to upon arrival. Dinner started at 18:00, and breakfast could be chosen between 8:30 or 9:00—great for someone like me who isn’t good at waking up early. Dinner included dishes such as salt-crusted grilled spiny lobster as well as lava-stone grilling of Kanagawa beef and Ashigara beef, which made it really fun. Both dinner and breakfast were truly excellent, and my girlfriend was very satisfied. The large public bath wasn’t very big, but it wasn’t crowded at all—we were able to bathe almost privately most of the time. The water was milky/opaque (nigoriyu), and my skin felt pleasantly soft afterward. I’ve been to Hakone several times, but it’s rare to find an Accommodation this good. We would definitely love to stay again. Thank you very much!

The room was well cleaned and very tidy. The large public bath had a sauna, and it was very relaxing. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but the selection was just right, and the vegetable-rich curry was delicious. The on-site coin laundry was cheaper than at other Hotels. If I have another chance to visit Iwaki, this is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

Every staff member was attentive and thoughtful, never in a forced way, and provided truly pleasant hospitality. The entire Facility is simple yet elegant, and we were able to spend our time in a Room that felt exceptionally clean. Dinner was creative and very delicious. The buffet-style breakfast was also quite good.

Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, with more variety than we could possibly try, and we were very satisfied. The location right in front of the sea offered amazing views, and we would love to stay again. It was a little disappointing that there was no morning bath on weekdays, but the facilities were spacious and clean, and overall we had a wonderful, fulfilling stay!

Although it was very hot during our stay, we received a cooling bath additive at the front desk and were able to relax comfortably in the bath. You always come up with thoughtful touches, which makes staying here something we look forward to. The Room isn’t large, but it has a calm color scheme and is functional.

Above all, the location is excellent. The Red Brick Warehouses are just nearby. You can walk to the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway station, and it’s also a quick taxi ride. There is Ramen Ajisai right in front of the entrance. The bath was clean, and the hair dryers included Panasonic and Dyson. We were also able to try out different shampoo and conditioner. After the bath, there were probiotic drinks and ice pops. We enjoyed salmon roe at breakfast and were very satisfied. My husband especially enjoyed the desserts. We’d love to stay again.

Hokkaido Hotel, conveniently close to town and offering Tokachigawa Onsen, is one of my favorite places to stay. Although I am a repeat guest, it had been a while since my last visit, and I was truly impressed that the front desk staff remembered my name. It may be because I once hosted a 60th birthday celebration party at this Hotel, but the hospitality of the front desk staff—the face of the Hotel—was excellent. However, there was one point that left me slightly dissatisfied during the Japanese kaiseki dinner, so I could not give all 5s. That said, the follow-up from the floor manager afterward was outstanding. I am always grateful for your courteous service. I have already made my next Reservation as well.

We planned a trip to Hakodate to celebrate my elderly father’s birthday, and after careful consideration, we made a Reservation at this Hotel. However, while sightseeing on Mt. Hakodate, my father suddenly became unwell, was taken by ambulance, and was admitted to the hospital immediately. He had been truly looking forward to it, but he was unable to enjoy the meals, the Onsen, or the Room here, so only my mother and I stayed. When we explained the situation, you responded appropriately and offered us warm words of support. I had little appetite after such an unexpected event, but everything we ate was wonderful and delicious—and it made me wish even more that my father could have enjoyed it too. The Room was also excellent. We are deeply grateful to all of your staff.

Everything was excellent—the Room, the baths, the food, the staff service, and the pool. We chose a loft-style Room, and it was very clean! However, for families with small children, we can’t recommend it because the ladder is steep and high. The baths were not crowded, so we could relax; the large public bath was very clean. We also had the pool almost to ourselves, and there were banana boats and other items available, which looked like a lot of fun. The buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was delicious. There were plenty of choices at breakfast as well. Our whole family loved it and we’d like to come again. Thank you very much.

The Onsen was incredibly relaxing, and the meals were delicious. We were able to unwind and enjoy a peaceful stay! The staff were kind and attentive, which made our stay even more comfortable. Thank you very much! If we have the chance, we would love to stay again!

The location was very convenient, close to every station, which was a great help. The Accommodation was clean, and the Room amenities were well stocked. The toiletries were also easy to use. Check-in and check-out can be done either at the front desk or via a machine, so everything is smooth. The elevator requires a guest card to access the upper floors, which provides good security. I had a very pleasant stay—thank you very much.

The Hotel’s overall design sense was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay. The lounge food and drinks also had just the right variety and selection. The pool was uncrowded, and depending on the time of day, we could relax and enjoy it almost as if it were private. The Room was clean with wood flooring, the layout was easy to use, and it was very comfortable. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. However, one thing I hope could be improved is the smell of cigarette smoke in the elevator. Perhaps because there is a smoking area on the second floor, a strong odor lingered in the elevator multiple times. We stayed with children this time, and since I’m sensitive to smoke myself, it felt a bit tough. Everything else was wonderful, so I would be happy if you could consider some measures to address this. We already have plans to stay at another Hotel in your group next year, and we would also like to visit this Hotel again next year. We’re looking forward to our next stay.

This was my second stay. From the ocean-view Room, I could see the sea, sky, and runway in the distance, and sometimes even watch airplanes—such a wonderful time. It may depend on the floor; I stayed on the 8th floor. The staff were all kind, and on rainy days they lent me an umbrella near the entrance. When I asked the front desk about places I wanted to visit again, they kindly gave me detailed information. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, including some Okinawan-style dishes. It was also very convenient to have a 24-hour supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away. For this price, it’s comfortable, friendly, and convenient—highly recommended Hotel.
