We had to change our travel Plan due to our own circumstances, and we truly appreciate your courteous and prompt assistance. This time, we chose Kikunoya because we wanted to take our time sightseeing in Miyajima. Its convenient location near Itsukushima Shrine and Daisho-in allowed us to enjoy the area with the Hotel as our base. Not only at the front desk but also during the Shuttle Service ride, we were able to hear stories and helpful local tips about Miyajima, which made our visits even more enjoyable. Thanks to you, it was a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

Since the full renovation, every facility has been spotless. I was satisfied with everything, but I was especially surprised at how spacious all four private baths were—and they were impeccably clean. The water was excellent, with no unpleasant chlorine smell overpowering the sulfur scent. The Nordic-style sauna was also very relaxing. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. This is a Ryokan I would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed for two nights for my wife’s birthday trip! The sea in Inatori was a bit rough, but we still had a Room with a great ocean view and an open-air hinoki bath, and we were able to relax very much. It was also nice that meals were served in a private dining room. The buffet offered more dishes than you’d expect from the term “half-buffet,” so it took some effort to carry food back to the private room, but we could eat quietly. We also truly appreciated that you prepared a separate cooked dish for my wife, who doesn’t like raw foods. Since it was during summer vacation when the pool is available, there were especially many children at mealtimes, so having a private room felt like the right choice. We were able to use the reservable private baths almost whenever we wanted, and it was convenient to check availability by registering on LINE. However, perhaps due to the age of the Facility—which is understandable—my wife has some difficulty with her legs, so moving around (to the restaurant and private baths, etc.) felt like quite a lot. In particular, access to the large panoramic bath on the 6th floor was only by stairs, and there were small steps inside the Room (such as around the washbasin area and low-bed space), so we deducted just a little in terms of barrier-free accessibility. We’re fans of Izu Animal Kingdom’s “Syrup Family,” so we would definitely like to visit Inatori again—and return to Akao Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

The station near Yuigahama is close behind the Hotel, and it’s within walking distance to the sea in the morning, so we were able to enjoy a quiet Yuigahama. The Hotel breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very kind. Hasedera Temple and the Great Buddha are also within walking distance, so I think it’s a great location. Next time I’ll come with friends. Thank you for your hospitality.

I was able to relax in a clean and spacious Room. Above all, the staff were kind and attentive wherever I went, which made my stay very pleasant. I also appreciated being able to adjust the portions of rice and miso soup myself. I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I had wanted to stay at a Hotel with an Onsen, so I was satisfied this time. The gentle hot water and the delicious breakfast were great. However, the front desk staff felt rather unfriendly.

This is a wonderful Hotel!! When making our Reservation, I called with various questions, and they answered everything kindly and thoroughly. Even when we arrived late for check-in at 6:00 p.m., they quickly arranged dinner so we could make it to the Yokagura performance, and we were able to go with plenty of time. The Room and the entire property were spotless, and everything was excellent—the soothing large Onsen bath, well-stocked amenities, and innovative two-way pillows that let you choose the height and firmness. We made a Reservation for two Rooms for three adults. Since the Rooms were different types, we assumed they would be on different floors, but they placed us in adjacent Rooms. My father has difficulty walking, and his Room was near the elevator, which was a huge help. I believe this was their thoughtful consideration—thank you very much. It’s clear that all staff provide warm service, work carefully, and always put guests first—this is truly an outstanding Hotel. We were moved by the breathtaking Takachiho Gorge we had long dreamed of seeing as well as Yokagura at night. Relaxing at this wonderful Accommodation made my father’s 80th birthday celebration and my birthday an unforgettable memory! To all the staff members—thank you so much!!

This was our first visit for a birthday anniversary trip. Everything was outstanding. There are only 13 Rooms, and each is a separate, unique detached villa. The interior is thoughtfully designed down to every detail, spacious and comfortable, and the garden is beautifully maintained, making it a very relaxing stay. As Onsen lovers, we barely had time to rest—we fully enjoyed all seven private baths as well as the bath in our Room. There is no large public bath, but there are six private Onsen baths that you can use freely at any time. The water is free-flowing and feels wonderful. The meals were also beautifully presented with great attention to appearance as well as ingredients—decorated with orchids, stunning to look at, and very generous in portion size. From wagyu beef to lobster and shark fin, it was an incredibly luxurious and delicious dining experience. I recommend arriving with a big appetite. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent too. We were truly glad we chose this place for our anniversary trip—it’s an Accommodation worth visiting even if you have to fly there. I’d love to come back in another season, and I’m also curious about other Rooms, so I’m sure we’ll return. If you’re unsure where to stay, I highly recommend this place.

All the staff are wonderful, making this an excellent Hotel. The free, spacious parking is also a plus. Breakfast was very satisfying, and starting at 6:00 a.m. is very convenient for early departures. You need to be careful when climbing up and down the Room’s bunk bed, but you can sleep well. Above all, it offers outstanding value for money. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

I had a memorial service in Inazawa City, Aichi Prefecture, and I usually book a Hotel in Nagoya, but this time I decided to look in Gifu and found this place. A (new) Hotel located inside a park. The front desk area and the Room were clean and functional. There’s no bathtub in the Room—only a shower—but there’s a public bath nearby, and guests can use it for 500 yen with the accommodation discount, so it didn’t bother me at all. Drink prices at the shop are reasonable too. There were no negative points at all, but if I had to mention one thing, it might have been nice to have a chair in the guest room (maybe I should have requested one). I was traveling with someone (this time my son in his 20s), and we ended up sitting side by side on the sofa, but the space between the sofa and the bed was narrow and a bit awkward to use—that’s about it. Recommended for young couples or families with children, including for its location.

It was a wonderful, very cozy Accommodation. From the moment you step through the entrance, a beautiful world opens up. The Room, the main house, and all the interior decor were lovely—I found myself wishing I could live in a home like this. I will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

Everything was outstanding—the surroundings, the Room, the meals, and the service. How do you create such a comfortable place? Relaxing while gazing at the water was wonderful, and the activities were fun as well. The staff also seemed to truly enjoy their work, and their passion and sincerity came through. I felt refreshed both physically and mentally. I’d love to visit again!

We stayed with relatives as a group of four. The Room was compact, but it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The meals were carefully prepared and very delicious. Since it was just us and one other couple staying, we were lucky to enjoy a very relaxed atmosphere. The owners’ hospitality was wonderful. Thank you very much.

We enjoyed a delicious, filling meal with fresh sashimi, two Takezaki crabs (one male and one female), plenty of grilled oysters, steamed clams, tempura, and crab rice porridge. The Onsen sauna and open-air bath were closed, but the indoor bath had a bubble bath feature, and we went in three times. This is an Onsen Ryokan we would love to visit again.

I’d been interested for a while, but it was always fully booked and I couldn’t make a Reservation, so this was my first stay. I stayed at Fujimitei, and both the Room and the facilities were clean. I was very satisfied with the Onsen and the buffet meals. Since it was Sunday, I could also see fireworks from the Room. The pool at Ryugutei was crowded and there were no benches available, so it was hard to find a place to put my belongings, but other than that there were no issues. I’d like to visit again.

Stayed for two nights and three days. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The Room is old but clean, and we were able to relax comfortably. We were satisfied with the meals on both the first and second days; personally, we preferred the second day’s meal. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. The baths were excellent—both the washing area and the tub were spacious. The open-air bath was at just the right temperature, so you could stay in for ages. We especially appreciated the luggage service: if you leave your bags at an affiliated Hotel near the station, they deliver them to this Hotel, and on departure they send them back to the affiliated Hotel, making sightseeing much easier without heavy luggage.

I’m a repeat guest in Sendai. With direct access to the station and luggage storage available, it’s truly convenient, and the Facility is excellent. I usually stay in a wide single, but this time I was able to make a Reservation for a Superior Double (it’s often hard to find availability). It was a bit more spacious, a corner Room with a sofa, and the bathroom, sink area, and toilet were completely separate. The bath also had a jet tub, making it very comfortable. Since I often stay on weekends, Rooms are rarely available, but if I can make another Reservation next time, I’d love to stay in this Room again.

We planned a trip to Hakodate to celebrate my elderly father’s birthday, and after careful consideration, we made a Reservation at this Hotel. However, while sightseeing on Mt. Hakodate, my father suddenly became unwell, was taken by ambulance, and was admitted to the hospital immediately. He had been truly looking forward to it, but he was unable to enjoy the meals, the Onsen, or the Room here, so only my mother and I stayed. When we explained the situation, you responded appropriately and offered us warm words of support. I had little appetite after such an unexpected event, but everything we ate was wonderful and delicious—and it made me wish even more that my father could have enjoyed it too. The Room was also excellent. We are deeply grateful to all of your staff.

The Hotel entrance is conveniently located immediately to the left after exiting the central ticket gate at Omori Station. You can also access Atre directly from the elevator inside the Hotel, making it very easy to go out from the Hotel. I arrived a little early and wanted to leave my luggage before check-in, and I was able to complete the process smoothly at a self-service reception machine without needing staff assistance. It was also efficient in many ways—for example, you can arrange housekeeping during a Multiple Night Stay and even check out via the TV—reducing the burden on guests. I hope other hotels will follow this approach. It’s easy to see why Reviews are so highly rated, and I would like to stay here again if I have another opportunity to stay in the area.

From the warm welcome on arrival to the heartfelt farewell, we enjoyed consistently kind and comfortable hospitality, allowing me to spend precious, unhurried time with my two daughters. I would like to express my sincere gratitude, especially to the male staff member who took care of us. Though he was still young, his calm presence, graceful manners, and attentive consideration in every detail were outstanding, making our stay even more memorable and truly unforgettable. What impressed me most was that the towels in the washroom had been replaced with fresh ones on the morning of checkout. I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans over the years, but this was the first time I experienced such thoughtful care. It was a deeply memorable moment that clearly conveyed genuine consideration for guests. The Tanabata event on Saturday was also wonderful. A staff member in hakama served champagne, creating a beautiful experience filled with Japan’s seasonal charm and atmosphere. My daughter, who has lived abroad for many years, was especially delighted and it became a cherished memory for her. When I mentioned after checkout that we planned to visit the Okada Museum of Art, you immediately prepared a brochure for us—your natural warmth and thoughtfulness continued until the very end. Each dish of our meal was carefully prepared and delicious, and we were able to enjoy everything at a relaxed pace. This stay also served as a celebration for my daughter; thank you sincerely for your kindness as well. Since we stayed only one night this time, my only regret is that I did not have enough time to browse books leisurely in the library within the Accommodation. Next time, I hope to fully enjoy not only your facilities but also the gentle flow of time throughout your Accommodation itself.
