With its rich history and tradition, along with the pleasant hospitality of the young staff, we were able to spend a truly comfortable time. I have heard that maintaining a historic building involves many challenges, but I sincerely hope it will be preserved just as it is for years to come. A clean Room, delicious meals, and a wonderful garden We would love to visit again.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at a comfortable pace. It was quiet and spotless throughout, and the Onsen was incredibly open and wonderful. Every meal was deeply delicious. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. I feel as if both my body and mind have been refreshed. I can hardly believe how reasonably priced it is. Thank you very much. I will definitely return.

Traveling solo as a woman, I wanted an Accommodation where I could spend time quietly and enjoy delicious meals, so I stayed here this time—and it was absolutely the right choice. Each dish was prepared with such care, and I ate in amazement at how delicious everything was. The tuna eaten with egg-yolk soy sauce and the gently sweet Glacier Rice were especially memorable; every dish stayed with me, and whenever I think back, I find myself wanting to eat them again. The proprietress was also very kind, and thanks to her thoughtful attention to detail, I was able to relax in comfort and feel completely at ease during my quiet stay. The Room has large windows, and the view of lush greenery is truly soothing. It rained throughout my stay so the weather wasn’t on my side, but the slightly dim atmosphere of the Room felt calm in its own way. Sitting by a slightly open window, listening to the rain while looking outside felt like it brought my mind back into balance. As this Accommodation hosts only five groups per day, the atmosphere inside was very peaceful. The weather made it especially quiet this time, but I really appreciated being able to enjoy the Onsen and time in my Room without worrying about others around me. With a typhoon and earthquakes occurring close together there were moments that made me uneasy, but both the proprietress and the chef checked on me with such genuine care that I could stay relaxed until the very end. The food, the Room, and everyone’s character were all wonderful—this was a warm Accommodation where even a solo traveler can truly unwind. They showed such kindness right up until departure; it became an unforgettable trip. I’m so glad I decided to go. I would love to visit again.

We stayed as a couple with our 0-year-old baby. From check-in, they took a photo of the three of us and provided toys for our child. At dinner, our child got sleepy, and when we asked for a floor cushion, they kindly brought one right away. During the koto performance, they even played children’s songs, and our daughter seemed to really enjoy it. Traveling with a child can be challenging from the very start when choosing an Accommodation, but everyone was truly kind to us. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

My first trip to Tottori. I was exhausted after the scorching heat at the Tottori Sand Dunes, but I was soothed by the Onsen, a wonderful dinner, and hospitality-filled service. The open-air bath in our detached Room was very spacious, and I enjoyed it many times. I especially loved the shiso pickled scallions served at dinner and bought some at the shop. I was surprised to find such a wonderful Onsen Accommodation so close to the station. I’d love to visit again.

We stayed here to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The property was very clean, and there were so many thoughtful touches to enjoy—like the complimentary drinks corner, a small selection of toys, plenty of large public baths, and even handheld fireworks—that we couldn’t experience everything in just one day! Above all, the staff’s attentiveness was outstanding. They helped serve the birthday cake and presents, provided candles and a brazier for the fireworks, and adjusted the lighting to create a lovely atmosphere—we truly felt their care. My partner was very happy as well. We’d love to stay again!

Choosing the Plan with breakfast and dinner was absolutely the right decision. Using the ingredients as they are, with a clever twist here and there, we found ourselves saying “oh!” again and again—it was a real delight. We highly recommend the meal Plan. Thank you for taking care of us for two nights and three days. I have stayed in many places around Japan, but this is the first time I’ve written a Review. It was a wonderful stay, and although I didn’t have time to properly express my thanks in person, I’d like to do so here. Work has been very busy lately, and this time I came hoping to “just relax,” and this Accommodation was exactly what I was looking for. From our Room we could look out over the sea at Matsushima, and without having to leave the Accommodation much at all, we were able to spend slow, luxurious time simply gazing at the ocean. The cheerful and courteous service from the staff in charge of our Room left a strong impression on me, and thanks to them we felt comfortable throughout our stay. At the dining venue as well, they casually checked in with us—“Are you cold?”—and even someone like me who gets cold easily was able to relax comfortably. The tea sweets provided were delicious, and the bath was extremely soothing. After bathing, it’s also a fond memory that I could unwind by reading while enjoying cold tea at “Salon Kura.” Every meal was truly delicious. In particular, the anago (conger eel) takikomi rice really stayed with me. We were told that any leftovers could be made into rice balls, but it was so easy to eat that we kept reaching for more with our chopsticks and finished it all. My partner seems especially impressed by the Sendai Kuroge Wagyu steak. Being able to grill sasa-kamaboko at breakfast also made me happy—it felt uniquely Miyagi. Even when we were leaving, you prepared sightseeing maps and gourmet information for us as well, and we felt your warm thoughtfulness right until the end. It was a truly lovely Accommodation where you can take your time enjoying both Matsushima’s scenery and how comfortable everything feels on-site. It ended up being a stay that refreshed both body and mind. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much for everything during our stay.

Depending on the time of day, there were many people and the washing area was full. Also, the bath water was a bit hot. We only had breakfast, but it was delicious and offered a wide variety, which was great. The futon was comfortable to sleep on, but it would have been even better if there were more pillow options.

My first time at Myoban Onsen. I’m excited to be able to stay at Okamotoya, which is highly rated in guidebooks. I was very satisfied with the milky-blue water. The Room was just the right size for one person and had a great view, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dessert pudding and the orange juice at breakfast were especially appreciated since I don’t drink alcohol. Since this is a Multiple Night Stay, it really helped that they provided extra yukata and towels. Just one thing: at dinner on the first day, the rice and soup were a bit lukewarm (it was fine on the second day). Also, perhaps due to the season, the seating was quite close to other guests during meals, which made it a little hard to eat comfortably. Still, I’m so satisfied that I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your warm hospitality. Thanks to the proprietress’s thoughtful care, we were able to forget our daily routine and enjoy a wonderfully relaxing time. We were blessed with great weather this time, and the view from the in-room semi-open-air bath was wonderful. The Onsen may feel a little lukewarm, but it keeps you warm for a long time. We heard the meals had just been updated with new offerings, and everything was delicious. With all amenities provided, this Accommodation is truly appreciated for allowing us to visit lightly and casually. We would love to return again in different seasons. It was a spacious Western-style room with a modern Japanese touch. Since it’s not a large Accommodation, there were few guests and the atmosphere was very calm. Not only was the overall meal excellent, but the salt-grilled ayu was tender and delicious right down to the bones—we were completely satisfied! All of the staff were kind, and we felt Fukui’s warm hospitality. It was reasonably priced, and with the “Fukui Prefecture Accommodation Campaign,” we were able to stay at an even better value.

This was my first time staying at Vischio, and choosing this property based on the Reviews was absolutely the right decision. It’s close to the station, the Room was clean, and the Onsen was spacious and spotless with everything I needed—perfect for relieving travel fatigue. Adding breakfast was also a great choice. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything—from fruit to desserts—was very delicious. It’s not unnecessarily luxurious, but it’s modern, clean, and has everything you need, so it was a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

We stayed to celebrate my mother’s discharge from the hospital. Based on our previous stay, you kindly accommodated our requests and avoided ingredients we cannot eat without us having to mention them this time, and we truly felt your outstanding hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel—the view from the balcony, the comfortable Room, and the delicious meals—and my mother was very happy as well. Thank you for celebrating with us. 　I especially love the atmosphere of your pool. I hope you will continue to maintain an environment where it is easy to swim and no one takes prohibited photos. Next time, we would like to visit again around autumn or winter.

I’m a repeat guest. Although this Accommodation has a 100-year history, the in-house Facility, garden, guest Rooms, baths—everything is beautifully maintained, and you can feel the attention to detail throughout to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff service is also excellent. Their sense of distance—stepping in smoothly when needed—felt very pleasant, and I was able to truly relax. The meals were delicious as well, and the tableware and presentation are beautiful and exciting. I feel the dining alone offers more than enough value for the price. Also, since there are relatively few Rooms and no children staying, the atmosphere inside is calm, which I love because I can relax anywhere in the Accommodation. These days, perhaps due to rising costs, I’m often disappointed when food quality or service declines on repeat visits—but I sincerely hope Gyokuhokan will remain unchanged when I visit next time. I will definitely return.

What I especially appreciated was that face towels were provided in the changing area. One face towel isn’t enough after washing my hair, so it was very helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. The vegetable miso soup with lots of ingredients was particularly tasty. There were so many menu options that I couldn’t finish everything. All of the staff provided pleasant, welcoming service.

It was a truly wonderful Accommodation. It’s almost right in front of Izumo Taisha—I didn’t realize it would be that close. Having an Accommodation nearby was perfect: we could rest right away after visiting in the heat, and also enjoy the atmosphere around the torii gates of Izumo Taisha early in the morning and late at night. I later learned that this is Mariya Takeuchi’s family home. I often listen to her music, so her vibe and the feel of the Accommodation really seemed to align—I was genuinely impressed. I’d love to come back again someday.

My daughter stayed here in June for her wedding. Hakodate is one of my favorite cities, and I have stayed at many Hotels there. This time, since we had the wedding, we were looking for a Hotel where she could relax as much as possible, so we chose this Hotel, which I had been interested in for some time because of its great Reviews. According to my daughter: The service was extremely courteous, the breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of amenities and thoughtful items to enhance the stay (such as a coffee grinder and hair iron), making it very comfortable. Next time, I would love to stay here myself. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The Facilities, the staff’s atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. It was clear that each staff member truly loves dogs. We would definitely like to stay again.
