Thank you very much for your kind support the other day! From the check-in explanation onward, you assisted us so thoughtfully, and we truly felt the hospitality of all the staff. Not only the Room, but also the table area in front of the house was arranged so we could spend our time comfortably, and we had a very pleasant stay. Our whole family loved the lodge for its cleanliness and the warmth of wood, so we would be happy to stay again if we have another opportunity. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy fireworks at night, as well as the Onsen in Omachi Onsenkyo and sightseeing in Tateyama Kurobe—making wonderful summer memories! Thank you very much!

I booked without realizing it was a famous canal, but I’m glad I got to stay in such a historic place. The futon was warm, and I slept soundly even with the air conditioner off. The bath was spacious, impressive, and very comfortable. I’m not sure what is normally provided for the welcome drink tea, but maybe it wasn’t replenished? Or is coffee the main option? It was disappointing that there wasn’t enough for everyone. There were dishes available, but it was unclear whether they were microwave-safe (probably not), so ceramic plates would have been better. We bought sashimi labeled “locally caught” at the supermarket, and the knife was sharp, which really helped. With only the dining table it felt a bit cramped, so it would have been even better if the low table were larger and more practical. I think many guests would be concerned about insects (ants?) in the washroom, so it may be worth taking measures to address this. Also, you should definitely try the pancakes! The café is far away but has a great atmosphere, and it made our trip much more satisfying.

Although the building is over 100 years old, the interior and Facility are modern, making it very comfortable to stay in. The lighting, including well-placed indirect lighting, is used effectively to enhance the atmosphere. The hot spring water is free-flowing from the source at around 42°C, which was excellent.

I was surprised at how big the bath was. It felt like being at my parents’ home, and I could really relax. Check-in felt a bit difficult.

A 2-minute walk to Haraoka Pier (Okamoto Pier). From the Room you can also see the pier and Mt. Fuji, with the sea right in front—an unbeatable location. The building is old, but the Room has been nicely renovated; you lay out the futon and use it with fresh new sheets. There is no bathtub, only a shower, but there are also nearby day-use Onsen facilities, a roadside station, and convenience stores. If you don’t need luxury, it offers excellent value for money. Strawberry picking at the roadside station was fun too. It also has air conditioning, a TV, and Wi‑Fi. I’d like to come back and try SUP in the warmer season as well. The closest vending machine to the pier is also at this Accommodation—I enjoyed a warm coffee at dawn.

I stayed with my dog. The road and corner in front are a bit narrow, but the parking lot is spacious, and there is a supermarket nearby. The Room was very clean. Even though I came from far away, I would love to stay here again.

We had a clean and comfortable stay.

I stayed at the accommodation to visit Cape Nosappu, the easternmost point. The room was located at the far end on the roadside. On the first night, I was alone, but early in the morning, it started raining. Due to the old building structure, I could hear dripping sounds from gaps in the roof—drip... drip... It seemed like accumulated rainwater wasn't draining properly and was falling through some gap near my room's height level. From around 3 a.m., it became noisy and kept me awake. On the second night, there were three people staying in total. One person went out and returned quietly after lights-out time without any issues. However, another person made loud banging noises on my door around 2:30 a.m., saying to lock it properly. So I locked it before sleeping again—but still heard banging sounds as if someone was trying to open it! I had read online that similar accommodations across The Whole Country sometimes have incidents where people feel someone's presence or see a man standing if they don't lock their doors while sleeping—so I made sure to lock mine tightly! Even so, there were loud bangs again!! Turning on my room light caused bright light leakage through gaps near my head area which made sleeping difficult once more; additionally intermittent electronic beeping from nearby phones disturbed peace for nearly half an hour… Eventually fell asleep only waking up by 5:00 AM then quietly got ready by half-past five yet received throat-clearing noises directed towards me? Strange experience overall. The skylight also let too much brightness during mornings making restful sleep challenging further compounded by midnight disturbances like door-banging & random electronic alerts being most bothersome aspects honestly speaking... Having milk alongside one slice bread helped somewhat balance things out though felt grateful overall given affordable pricing offered here!

I stayed here alone on the day I arrived in Okinawa. Since I was planning to take a ferry to Kumejima early the next morning, I looked for an affordable Hotel close to Tomari Port and chose this place. It’s the common Naha style of a former regular apartment building converted into a Hotel. This building has only two Rooms per floor, so if four people stay together, it could feel like having an entire floor to yourselves. If you look closely there are some scratches and signs of wear, but the Room has been renovated and was very clean. Best of all, there is a free washing machine and dryer inside the Room, so you can do laundry on your last day of travel before heading home and reduce your luggage. Many Hotels have washers and dryers, but they’re often set up like coin laundries—meaning you have to carry your laundry out of your Room and wait for machines to become available—which can be inconvenient; having both a washer and dryer in-room for free at around 7,000 yen per night is quite rare. There are also basic dishes and a kitchen knife provided, so it might be nice to buy sashimi at a large supermarket and eat it at the Accommodation. Having separate bath and toilet was also great for two people staying together. Of course no meals are included, but there are local places nearby such as Kisaku (which serves Daito sushi), so I don’t think you’ll have trouble finding dinner. There’s also a convenience store close by, so you should be fine. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Okinawa solo.

The covered balcony was perfect for BBQs. It was convenient to return indoors quickly to grab ingredients or drinks. Even without our own BBQ equipment, we managed easily with charcoal, fire starters, and a lighter. The disposable grill net and not having to clean up the charcoal were also very helpful. As a suggestion, providing mattresses, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, instant coffee, or tea would make the stay even better. Thank you for hosting us!

Thank you for your help. My plans to go to Tsuruoka changed and I stayed in Yamagata instead, but I was able to make a Reservation right away, which was very helpful. The Room was non-smoking, clean, and well maintained. I appreciated the tea bags and was able to relax in the Room. The breakfast rice was delicious brown rice, and I felt great that day and could stay active. If possible, I wish there had been earplugs. I tried to be mindful not to disturb others with noise myself, but some sounds did bother me a little. Still, I had a very enjoyable trip in Yamagata. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying with you again.

It was my first time visiting Shimane Prefecture, and thanks to this hotel and its wonderful staff, I had an amazing stay. They kindly accommodated my last-minute breakfast request, and were always happy to chat, share recommendations, and teach me about Hamada. They also informed me about a Kagura performance, which was spectacular and will remain a treasured memory. The room was comfortable, the location was great, and the breakfast was delicious! The warmhearted staff were the highlight of my trip. I hope to return someday.

This was my first time using this type of accommodation. Since I didn't receive any information about the check-in process on the day, I contacted them via email. They responded promptly, and I was able to enter the room without any issues. As it was a multiple night stay, there were no towel replacements, so I either washed them in the washing machine or dried and reused them as they were. Since pajamas are necessary, I would consider staying again during a light-packing summer season or when traveling by car. Although I wasn't familiar with how things worked at first, now that I've experienced it, I'll be better prepared next time with all the essentials. Basically, as long as you have pajamas, you'll be comfortable enough here.

It feels like a dream to have enjoyed such a wonderful sensory experience so close to home. We stayed here for a family birthday, and despite making many selfish requests, the staff responded to everything with smiles, for which we are truly grateful! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the dome tent we had always dreamed of. We would love to visit again. It was an exceptional one-night stay. Thank you very much!

Barbecue facilities were available, and it was amazing. We had a wonderful New Year's experience.

Stayed during the May holiday period. The Accommodation is in a remote area, and I felt quite uneasy on the way there, but when I arrived it turned out to be a very large Ryokan. The Room was a spacious Japanese-style room where I could relax, and although some Reviews mentioned the Onsen being a bit cool, it was just the right temperature for me—comfortable enough to soak for a long time. The friendly proprietress was warm and welcoming as well, which made for a calm, unhurried stay. Soft-shell crab tempura was served at dinner and it was delicious, but that was the only crab dish, so it felt slightly underwhelming given how much I had been looking forward to crab. (The other dishes were also excellent, and overall I was satisfied with the meal.) If you’re visiting specifically for crab cuisine, I recommend checking the details in advance.

I wanted to visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and was looking for an affordable place to stay nearby when I found this Hotel. For the Onsen and breakfast, I used their affiliated property close by, Ivy Hotel Chikushino. I was able to enjoy Futsukaichi Onsen, and the meals were delicious as well. The front desk staff were very helpful, and thanks to their recommendation, I went to the izakaya “Gon (Hiko),” where the grilled yam on an iron plate and the grilled chicken on an iron plate were excellent—I was very satisfied. To get to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, you need to walk 21 minutes to Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station, so if you have difficulty walking, it’s better to use a taxi or bus.

Since I was staying with my child and we don’t eat large portions, we chose a restaurant where we could order dinner à la carte. The food was excellent, and we were truly impressed. The sashimi in particular was beautifully presented and delicious. The footbath was next to the smoking area, so the smell bothered us a bit, but everything else was great. The Accommodation staff, the baths, and the meals were all wonderful, and we would definitely like to stay again.
