I use this place often, and I love it—the amenities are great and the futon is very comfortable.

We stayed for one night with breakfast included. The Accommodation accepts only three groups per day, and the bath and toilets are shared; however, the bath is a private family-bath style. Since we have a daughter who dislikes large public baths with strangers, this was the deciding factor. We were able to book a two-room suite-style Room, with a separate living area and bedroom—spacious and relaxing. Perhaps because it used to be a traditional restaurant, the entrance area of the Room (shoe-off space) is open, and each Room is secured by locking its sliding doors (fusuma). The locks are screw-type locks for sliding doors rather than typical cylinder door locks, so younger guests unfamiliar with them may be confused at first (as our kids were). Also likely due to the building’s traditional structure—with fusuma and shoji screens—soundproofing is somewhat limited, and TV noise or conversations can be heard from the hallway (according to our daughter). That said, the property itself is generally quiet. The layout also seemed designed with noise in mind—for example, keeping relaxation spaces separated. There was one other family with small children staying that day, but it didn’t bother us. There is no washbasin inside the Room; instead, paper cups are provided at the sinks in the bath area and by the toilets for brushing teeth and washing up. Everything was well maintained and pleasant to use. Breakfast the next morning was served in a large hall on the second floor. It was an excellent Japanese-style breakfast—delicious.

The owner was Chinese and very friendly. The main door had an auto-lock system, allowing free access at any time, which was very convenient. We stayed as a family of three and had a comfortable and relaxed stay. Towels were provided, but they were more like household towels, so if you're particular about that, it might be better to bring your own—I brought mine. During the cold winter season, the bedding felt thin and I initially had trouble sleeping, but raising the heating temperature made it much more comfortable. The accommodation is conveniently located near a station.

I stayed at Tsuetate Onsen for the first time. Despite being in a region where space along the river is limited, the parking lot was conveniently located nearby. The staff's hospitality was excellent, making my stay very comfortable, and the meals were absolutely delicious. The accommodation's bath was spacious and impressive, but the highlight was "Kissho no Yu," an outdoor onsen with five open-air baths nestled in the forest—truly a relaxing experience. I would love to stay at this accommodation again!

We stayed in Cottage Building B. There isn’t a private dog run, but there’s a large dog run right in front, which was actually better for our dog. Our first time trying the pool took about 20 minutes for our dog to get used to the water, but then he paddled desperately toward the edge—our bath-hating pup managed to swim 1 meter. At night, the stars were incredibly beautiful and we could see the Milky Way! It said “unit bath,” but it’s a shower. With four people, laying out the futons was a bit of work, but it was enough for us. It was a relaxing, dog-first vacation. Thank you very much.

We stayed with our dog. It’s close to the station, the Room is spacious, and the amenities are plentiful—so comfortable it felt like a waste to stay only one night! I didn’t expect any pet amenities, but having pet pads and wet wipes provided was a big help. The drugstore in front of the station didn’t sell pet supplies, so guests traveling with dogs should be aware. As we knew in advance, there are stairs, so if you have a lot of luggage, staying on the second floor is better. We struggled at first because we couldn’t figure out how to unlock the door, but thank you for your kind support by phone and LINE. We will definitely stay again when we visit Hakata! Thank you!

Located right next to Yasaka Shrine with various shops nearby, not only is the Room clean, but the bath is great, and the floor heating is excellent! Everything is perfect! And yet, it's reasonably priced! If you're staying in Kyoto, this place is highly recommended!

The Room was smaller than expected, but it was very clean, with various amenities provided. The air conditioning was designed so that the wind did not blow directly, making it very comfortable. The Hotel's location was also very convenient and comfortable, being close to the subway entrance.

Based on the information provided in advance, I honestly didn’t have high expectations for the Hotel itself or the Room. But once I stayed, I found that anyone who loves a Showa-era atmosphere will really appreciate it. The Room is spacious enough, and while you can’t expect the latest Facilities or modern comfort, it feels calm and relaxing. The bath and toilet are in the same space, but it’s very large and even has a separate washing area. If you run the hot water too forcefully it can splash toward the toilet, but as long as you’re careful there’s no problem. I was surprised to see exposed hot- and cold-water pipes for the first time; on the other hand, I felt they may be keeping prices reasonable by not spending too much on hardware upgrades. What truly stands out is breakfast. You enter the dining room from a typical narrow-front local Ryokan-style entrance near reception—and then you’re amazed: shelves along the walls are packed with what seems to be the owner’s collection. It felt like stepping into another world. The way everything is arranged shows real attention to detail, and somehow reflects their personality as well. Breakfast was served in 30-minute time slots, but it seemed freshly prepared after guests arrived, so warm dishes were brought out. The bread, omelet, bacon, and sausages were cooked perfectly. The ingredients aren’t luxurious by any means, but I was genuinely impressed by how heartfelt the cooking was. I also had a bit of friendly conversation with them and got to experience their warm and sincere character firsthand. To be honest, I can’t give high marks for hardware aspects—but for breakfast alone, along with their hospitality and this Showa-style space that you can actually experience here, this Hotel is absolutely worth staying at. If I have another chance, I’d love to return.

The Room is small, but it feels like a stylish design Hotel and was comfortable to stay in. On the first floor, you can rent a wide range of amenities in the rental room—from shampoo, cleansing oil, and face wash to a hair iron and even chopsticks—which was very helpful. Free coffee is also available. The in-room hair dryer was a SALONIA model, so my hair dried quickly, which was another plus. It’s close to the station, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Highly recommended.

It’s about a 20-minute drive to Takachiho Gorge, but we chose Kijiya because it’s an onsen Accommodation. We had reserved the first boat ride at Takachiho Gorge the next morning, so we stayed with dinner only. Dinner was delicious, with salt-grilled yamame trout, sashimi, tempura, and more. As expected, the onsen was wonderful. We checked out early in the morning, but it’s a great Accommodation where you can truly relax.

Everything was great in a word. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. This will be my go-to Accommodation in Ishigaki Island.

We were able to relax in both the bath and the Room. The sound of the river was soothing, and it was an Accommodation we would definitely like to stay at again. By the time we left, our skin felt smooth. Thank you very much.

In the Golden Week peak season, we searched for a pension and ended up here. Our family always looks forward to dinner at a pension, and we chose Millefeuille because we wanted to enjoy a relaxed evening meal. The dining area had tables arranged in five sections, so each group could sit together. The meal was a thoughtfully prepared set course. The turnip mousse appetizer was elegant and delicious—our foodie daughter said it looked beautiful as well, and I completely agreed. The tuna sashimi also felt carefully prepared—was that an appetizer too? The course flowed nicely: two appetizers, soup, rice, main (meat), dessert, and coffee. Both the appetizers and the main dish felt especially elaborate, making for a well-balanced course. We were full and very satisfied. If there were a sprinkle of parsley on top of the corn soup, it might look even more vibrant. We ordered a bottle of wine; it was an easy-to-drink white that didn’t overpower the food, and it was priced as if there was almost no profit—really reflecting the owner’s kind hospitality. There is also a grand piano in the dining room, and we heard they used to hold small piano or string concerts. After dinner (with permission from other guests), I was allowed to play a little. Having a grand piano there creates such a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was also colorful on one plate, and we were full from the morning. For the bath, we were told to enter as our group in the women’s bath and lock it while using it; we did so. It is not a private family bath—it is separated by gender. It is not an Onsen, so there is no Hot Spring Tax. The Room was clean with thoughtful touches throughout, so nothing about its age bothered us at all. The TV wasn’t turned on at first; right after check-in I asked the owner about it and they switched it on for us. It was good that we tried turning it on early. We had an extremely satisfying stay that exceeded expectations for the price. Perhaps one owner focuses on conversation while another handles cooking—we were able to relax at our own pace. The chats were very enjoyable as well; we truly felt their hospitality. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

It felt like a unit in an older apartment building, but the Room was spacious and comfortable, making it an easy place to stay. The amenities were well stocked, and the location is great—there’s a station and Amu Plaza nearby, so you can enjoy shopping and dining as well. There is also on-site parking at the Hotel, which was very helpful. The level of service was just right and pleasant, making this Hotel perfect for relaxing and enjoying some quiet personal time—I’d love to stay here again.

The breakfast was generous and very delicious.

A condominium with a kitchen, a 10-minute walk from the station and 3 minutes to the beach. It was very convenient since we didn’t have a car. Self check-in is unmanned, but when there was an issue with the screen, staff responded immediately by phone, which made us feel at ease. It was wonderful to cook and dine while enjoying the ocean view from the window. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and other essentials. The Room is spacious and clean, with a living area and dining area, so you can relax comfortably.

We chose to spend my husband’s birthday relaxing at an Onsen Accommodation and stayed at Satsuki. All the staff were kind, and the interior was lovely, with a wonderful blend of renovated areas and original features. The Onsen truly felt like a moisturizing lotion and was incredibly soothing. The meals were outstanding, thoughtfully incorporating local ingredients, and we were completely satisfied. We also appreciated being able to enjoy plenty of my husband’s favorite beer. They even prepared a birthday-style dessert for him. Breakfast was excellent as well. We would love to visit again with our children. Thank you very much!

It was affordable while still ensuring privacy, and the 11:00 check-out allowed me to rest well. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have liked a fan in the Room until I cooled down after bathing, but the air conditioning works well.

I stayed here for the first time recently. I had previously used another company’s container hotel, but it was truly just a place to sleep—no TV and no bathroom facilities at all, basically just a bed in a container—so I didn’t have high expectations. However, this was completely different. There was a unit bath and a TV, and aside from the exterior, it felt no different from staying at a regular Business Hotel. If I’m in the area again for a business trip or similar, I’d like to stay here again.
