Thank you for accommodating our request to change the room due to a concern about the smell. The new room had a view of Mt. Fuji, though it was partially obscured by clouds. We managed to capture some photos during the morning when it was visible. We heard that this room has recently been renovated to be barrier-free. The entrance features half tatami flooring, and the low table makes it easy to open suitcases. Although we didn’t use the private bath in the room, there is a large public Onsen on the first floor accessible with a passcode for added security, allowing us to enjoy bathing with peace of mind. The Onsen includes three showers, one baby chair, and amenities such as cleansing oil, face wash, lotion, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cotton swabs, and cotton pads—all provided for your convenience. Please bring towels from your room when visiting. There were also several electric bicycles available and even some popular bikes on display in what seemed like an exhibition area. In front of the first-floor Onsen area are manga books and various play items available for guests' enjoyment. Yukata robes are provided nearby: sizes include 120cm for children; one size (150–160cm) for women; and options for men as well. While the exterior may appear aged from outside at first glance, inside is very clean with noticeable updates such as new carpets in hallways (at least on floors we explored). The café space on ground level adds charm too! In mornings limited-time complimentary coffee service awaits guests—a delightful touch before heading out exploring locally! On next day’s itinerary included visit Café Mont Blanc nearby—thankful parking arrangements made everything seamless enhancing overall experience greatly! Truly memorable trip indeed thanks again wholeheartedly choosing stay here Fujiyoshida region left lasting impression surely returning future stays accommodations same place!!

This was our third stay. The staff were very kind and attentive, and we had a comfortable and pleasant time. The Room was clean and welcoming, with a calming atmosphere filled with the scent of wood, making it very relaxing. There were both an indoor bath and an open-air bath, allowing us to fully enjoy a leisurely soak. In particular, there were three types of open-air baths, which the children also enjoyed, creating wonderful memories for the whole family. It was an Accommodation we were highly satisfied with, and one we would definitely like to visit again.

The room I stayed in felt outdated overall, and the three-piece unit bathroom was particularly small and inconvenient. However, everything else was clean and well-maintained. The view from the accommodation lived up to its reputation as a "scenic inn," offering stunning sunsets. A sandy beach is just a short walk away, making it ideal for swimming in summer. Guests can enjoy a private open-air bath once for free. There are two options: a cypress bath and a larger-than-usual tub bath; I recommend the tub bath for its size. Although the public bath lacked scenic views, I had it all to myself during my visit, allowing me to relax fully with plenty of space. The meals were exceptional both morning and evening—highly recommended for sashimi or seafood lovers! The spiny lobster sashimi was sweet and incredibly delicious. The next morning's spiny lobster miso soup had rich flavors from the broth and was equally delightful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making this an accommodation I'd love to visit again!

I had used the Onsen several times as a day trip, but this was my first time staying overnight. The toothbrush provided in the amenities was a bit hard, but that’s easy to solve by bringing my own next time. Other than that, I had a comfortable stay with no complaints. My Room had a view of Mt. Jonen, but since I arrived at night I couldn’t see it then. I enjoyed Mt. Jonen the next morning, but I left in a hurry and couldn’t take my time to fully appreciate the view, which was a bit disappointing. Next time, I plan to check in while it’s still light and enjoy everything properly. I’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I had planned to arrive at 3:00 PM and enjoy the bath, but my phone suddenly broke that day and I couldn’t get in touch. I didn’t arrive until after 7:00 PM. The front desk staff were worried about me, and even checked whether I might be hungry and needed dinner. On top of that, they upgraded my Room. The Ryokan is a bit old, but it’s kept very clean, and the radon Onsen was wonderful. Next time, I’d definitely like to stay with meals included. The front desk staff’s kimono attire and attentiveness, along with the atmosphere of the building and garden—full of charm and a nostalgic Showa-era feel—were all lovely.

Since there is no single room, I used a room for three people with a double bed and a semi-double bed for one person. The room was spacious, and the bath and toilet were in separate sections and were clean. There was also a small refrigerator where you can store drinks and food bought at a convenience store within walking distance. I would like to use this Stays again when visiting Kyoto.

I stayed for one night. It is a hotel like an apartment where you can cook and do laundry. The bath is separate from the toilet, and above all, it is clean and new, which I am very satisfied with. If I have a business trip planned in this area again, I will definitely stay here again.

I requested the Shuttle Service, and everyone was very kind, including on the phone. It was my first time trying lukewarm bathwater, but afterward my skin felt smooth and I stayed warm—it was a pleasant surprise. Dinner was delicious and far more than I could finish; I wished I had asked for a smaller portion. For breakfast, the miso soup and rice were especially good. The place had a comforting mix of nostalgia and warmth, and it was truly relaxing.

Thank you for taking care of us on our ski trip. It had been a while since we last stayed at this Accommodation, and we found the charming Western-style building very relaxing, especially with the fireplace in the restaurant. The building is a bit old, but the Room and bathrooms were kept very clean. The hamburger steak dinner was delicious, and on the second night of our Multiple Night Stay we had roast beef. The portions were a little small, so on the second night we bought a late-night snack at a convenience store. On New Year’s Eve, we could also see the countdown fireworks from our Room. It’s quite far from Tokyo so we can’t visit often, but we’d like to stay here again when we go to Appi.

It was our first time staying here. We arrived before check-in, and we had BBQ meat in a cooler box. When we asked at the information desk if we could use a refrigerator, they kindly agreed. Playing in the river, the fountain park, trout catching, and the Onsen were all close by and easy to get to. There were also plenty of shaded parking spots thanks to all the trees. The Accommodation was very clean, and we enjoyed a fun BBQ dinner on the balcony. Since guests can use the Onsen as much as they like, Grandpa and Grandma went three times! I (Grandma) made the Reservation, and our grandchildren liked it so much that they said they want to come back here again next year. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I had made a Reservation last October but had to Cancel the Reservation due to circumstances, and this time we finally made it happen. Since only a “no meals” room was available, and we didn’t want to be tied down by time on the way there, we stopped by a supermarket and picked up food for three meals. We knew there was a microwave at the Accommodation, so we also ate things like retort curry. There is a two-door refrigerator installed in the closet, so it keeps items fairly cold. It’s definitely worth making use of. However, there are no dishes provided, so I recommend bringing disposable plates (and chopsticks/spoons). Also, there is no coffee or tea provided, so if you need them, it’s best to bring your own (there are no cups either). The room is a 6-tatami-size room as shown in the photos, but you have to lay out and put away the futon yourself. For older guests, that may feel a bit tough. We stayed three nights and there was no cleaning service. This was explained at check-in (including the points above), so we accepted it. Each morning we put our trash outside the door before going out; honestly, it became more stressful than expected because you need to be mindful of basic sorting. It’s reasonable and within common sense—but still. Two issues stood out. The mattress futon was extremely thin—like what people call a “rice cracker.” There were four futons available, so my husband and I used two each, but we could still feel the tatami through them. We even added the cushions provided in the room underneath, but it barely helped. I have lower back pain and chose Nagayu Onsen for that reason, so this was difficult for me. It may be time to replace them. Also regarding the safe: it is attached as part of the room key set-up but appears broken and unusable—now seemingly used as a TV stand instead. In this situation, I think it should be listed as “no safe.” And these days especially, having an in-room safe feels essential—so I strongly hope this will be improved. For these reasons I rated it 4 stars. Lastly—and most importantly—my husband and I were truly impressed by the manager’s personality: very friendly and considerate (just my personal impression). They also guided us about reserving/using the private family bath(s), which allowed us to use everything with peace of mind. The Onsen was wonderfully relaxing and high quality; we were able to share precious time together as a couple. If possible, we would love to stay again—thank you very much!

It was my first time staying at a trailer house Hotel, and although I was initially anxious, it was neither cold nor unclean, and I had a comfortable stay. Additionally, they kindly accommodated a sudden change to dinner plans. Everyone was so kind, making this Hotel highly recommended if you're in the area. The barbecue meat was delicious. Of course, the breakfast sandwiches were also very tasty. Thank you very much!

I had the pleasure of visiting Funbe again this September! Since the owner mentioned that September is the best time for delicious food, I try to reserve during this month whenever possible. Although I've visited many times before, this year's rice was absolutely the best ever!!! It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say so. Nowhere else but Funbe offers rice that tastes amazing even when cold. I had grilled Pacific saury, and it was enormous—bigger than any I've ever seen! I was truly amazed! And of course, it was incredibly delicious as well. For dessert, we were served yellow watermelon... It was so sweet that I couldn't believe it was watermelon! It made me question all the watermelons I've eaten before—it was just unbelievably sweet and tasty. I'm glad to see both the owner and his wife looking as healthy as ever. I'll definitely visit again soon, so please treat me to more of your wonderful dishes! Thank you very much!

We stayed for a 2-night, 3-day family trip. First of all, I would like to thank all the Hotel staff. We truly appreciated your kind support during our trip, such as storing our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Below are my comments for each item. Guest Room & Amenities The room felt a bit dated, but it seemed very well cleaned. However, I noticed what looked like black mold on the unit bath door and similar areas. I would appreciate it if you could pay extra attention to this during cleaning. I was very satisfied with the amenities. I was also grateful that the gown and towels were replaced with fresh ones on the second night. I would prefer a slightly softer toothbrush bristle, but considering the cost performance, it is understandable. Hospitality & Service There was no excessive interference, yet all staff were very kind. Onsen / Bath As mentioned in the Guest Room section, I noticed what looked like black mold on the unit bath door and similar areas, so I rated this 2 stars. Facility & Equipment There was nothing in particular that bothered me. Dining We did not dine at the Hotel during our stay, but we had lunch there after check-out. We ordered the daily lunch set and steak. Everything was delicious, and we were able to end our trip on a pleasant note. Overall Satisfaction This was my first trip to Nagasaki, and since it is close to Gotomachi Station as well, it was an excellent Hotel as a base for sightseeing. With various tourist spots raising prices from April 1 onward, this Hotel still offered great cost performance. I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

This was my 7th visit to Miyako Island, but my first time staying at this accommodation. I stayed for 4 nights over the New Year holidays. I usually stay in condominiums, but this hotel was exceptional. The room was clean with simple and beautiful interior design. The shower had strong water pressure, and although I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor, the beachside view was amazing. The room was spacious, and having a washing machine and dryer was very convenient. Both the entrance and the room were operated via a smart system using a smartphone, which felt secure and convenient. I met some of the cleaning staff several times, and they all greeted me warmly with pleasant smiles. The only regret I had was that the weather wasn’t great and it was cold, but I enjoyed a relaxing New Year’s stay at this wonderful accommodation. I would love to stay here again when I visit next time! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

The Room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious. If dinner is available, I would like to try it as well. I was very satisfied that they accommodated us from as early as 6:30 a.m. The bath is small and can get full with 2–4 people, but it is new and a good size. Since it operates on a rotating schedule for men and women, you need to pay attention to the time. It cannot be used in the morning or late at night, but since this is not a large Hotel, I think this is understandable from an operational standpoint. The location is also good, as convenience stores and roadside stations are within walking distance.

It was inconvenient to unlock the door with the key every time we needed to do something. It would be more user-friendly if access could be granted for the entire floor.

A very user-friendly Hotel I would like to stay here again next time

The cottage was perfectly clean and well maintained, fully stocked with everyday essentials, and felt spotless throughout. The staff were genuinely kind, and the solo BBQ on a shichirin grill was amazing. We came from Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, and we will definitely be back.

I stayed here for the first time a year ago and was so satisfied with the all-you-can-eat Genghis Khan BBQ that I came back again this year. With that much food and access to the Onsen, I think it’s very reasonably priced. I don’t feel relaxed when there are too many people, so the number of Rooms was just right, and I was able to unwind and truly relax. This is an Onsen Accommodation I want to visit again and again!! I’ll definitely be back!
