I recently stayed here during a motorcycle tour. Thank you for letting me park my bike in a place sheltered from the rain. The Hotel was quiet and very clean, which made an excellent impression. Next time, I’d like to visit with my wife.

The antique-inspired lobby interior was beautiful. The Room was also comfortable. Meals were served in a private dining room, and since it was next door, it was convenient. The food was delicious and at the standard level for this type of Ryokan. The Onsen is not large, but it wasn’t crowded, so I could relax and enjoy it.

You can get here from Nagaoka Station without getting wet even when it rains, and there are plenty of restaurants around the Hotel, so you won’t have any trouble finding a place to eat. Above all, the price is very reasonable, so I made another Reservation. There is a free coffee machine in the lobby, and while the Hotel itself doesn’t seem new, the room feels clean. The staff were also pleasant and helpful.

Following last year, I stayed here again this year. I use it as a short break during my car-camping and camping trips. Above all, the affordable price and the bath are great! The Facility is kept very clean, and the male staff in particular provide excellent service. I’d love to stop by again next year!

Because the property is operated by a small team, there were a few minor things I noticed, but the meals were delicious and served in just the right portions, and I was able to enjoy the bath to my satisfaction with a Reservation. I’d love to come back in autumn to see the fall foliage.

I travel to Ise-Shima at least once a year. Each time, I look for an Accommodation with a private open-air Onsen bath in the Room. This stay at Haifu was truly wonderful—one of the best I’ve experienced. This time, we stayed in a special suite. First of all, taking a boat to reach the Accommodation really heightened the sense of being on a trip, and I couldn’t stop feeling excited. The Accommodation was beautiful and kept very clean, and the staff were excellent. The Room had an open-air bath with an ocean view. There is also frosted sliding glass that can be used as a privacy screen from outside. Soaking in the Onsen while watching the full moon and stars and listening to the sound of the sea was incredible. We were also able to enjoy our meals slowly in a private dining room. Both the taste and presentation were top-class. Haifu is an Accommodation you’ll definitely want to return to. I hope to stay again soon, and I look forward to visiting again then.

Conveniently located near Saito-Miyakonojo Station and Hiroguchi Bus Stop, making it easy to find. The building is new, and the rooms and facilities are very clean. The "Tabibito no Yu" on the first floor is a natural Onsen, very clean with a large bath where you can relax and unwind. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options with a good variety and delicious taste. Within a 5-minute walk, there are many izakayas (Japanese pubs) and yakiniku restaurants, so there's no need to worry about dinner. I visited an izakaya where I enjoyed Miyazaki beef, pork, and chicken at an incredible value not seen in Tokyo. If I have another chance to visit Miyakonojo, I would love to stay here again!

I chose this Accommodation for its free-flowing Onsen, and when I actually visited, I was truly impressed to see the hot water gushing out in abundance. There are two baths, Kaki-no-Yu and Momo-no-Yu, with Kaki-no-Yu being more spacious. At the entrance to the open-air bath at Momo-no-Yu, stones are laid out underfoot, giving a stimulating sensation on the soles of your feet that felt pleasantly painful. The meals were also delicious, with some dishes clearly prepared with great care. Our Room was on the third floor, and I wished there had been an elevator—but perhaps it was good exercise instead.

This was our first stay! Just as the Reviews said, it was a very dog-friendly Accommodation. I accidentally left a large piece of luggage at check-out, but even though it was during a holiday period, they responded quickly and mailed it to me, which was a huge help. We only had breakfast this time, but it was delicious. Next time, I’d like to book dinner as well. It’s an Accommodation that’s kind to both dogs and guests, and we had a wonderful holiday trip. Thank you very much!

We stayed with three families (nine people) during the season when the rapeseed flowers were in full bloom. Everyone—from kids to adults—had a wonderful time, and it became a great memory for us. The ocean stretches out right in front of the Accommodation. We took a walk in the morning before check-out, and it felt amazing. The sea was beautiful, and we thought, “In summer, we could really enjoy swimming here.” Having Yumigahama right in front is a major highlight of this Accommodation. Our Room also had an ocean view and was spacious, so we could relax comfortably. Meals were buffet-style, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. There was a wide variety of dishes, so much that we ended up eating too much. There was also all-you-can-drink beer and wine, which made mealtimes even more enjoyable (just be careful not to overdo it). There was an izakaya-style place in front of the Accommodation as well, so we said we might go later if needed—but in the end, we were satisfied enough that there was no need. After dinner, we went up to the rooftop. Spending time looking at the stars while enjoying coffee or tea was wonderful. Being able to enjoy stargazing on the Shiosai Terrace feels unique to this Accommodation. The open-air bath was also very pleasant and relaxing. That said, since it was quite busy when we stayed, it would have been even more comfortable if it were a bit larger. Breakfast was hearty too—delicious enough that we finished everything. Overall, it turned into a very satisfying trip. It’s a bit far from Tokyo, but Izu has many sightseeing spots, and even the journey there added to the travel experience. We’d love to visit again in another season.

I ended up coming back again in less than a month. When I finally had some free time and wondered where to go, my feet naturally led me to Hotel AreaOne Banjinmisaki. This time the Hotel was almost fully booked. There seemed to be a sports tournament nearby, and many families were staying the night before—an eye-opening way to use the Hotel. Our family came to enjoy the sea at Banjinmisaki and to see the winged swim ring we’d spotted on Instagram. With a free rental float in hand, we played in the water at the nearly empty beach right in front of us. The kids were thrilled, and our whole family had a wonderful time. Even though it wasn’t officially beach season yet, the water was already warm enough for us to fully enjoy playing with our children along the shoreline. There’s a shower room on the first floor of the Hotel, so it’s easy to rinse off sand. If you bring your yukata with you, you can rinse off and head straight to the bath—such great convenience. I say this every time, but I truly believe the view from the Room window is the best in the world. Relaxing in your Room while watching the sunset, then setting off fireworks under a sky full of stars—I don’t think there are many Hotels like this anywhere in Japan, or even worldwide. And I feel that our Kashiwazaki trip is made possible by all of this thanks to everyone on staff who supports these wonderful moments. This time we were lucky enough to get tai meshi for breakfast, and we enjoyed an amazing meal together with an incredible view—such a satisfying morning. While browsing the Hotel’s souvenir corner, we bought some lovely sweets and a spoon like those shown in photos. Many Hotels sell souvenirs made in Osaka or Saitama—or even overseas—but this Hotel offers local specialties properly made in Niigata, which left a great impression on me. The sweets were made in Kashiwazaki and were delicious. As for the spoon—it was crafted by an artisan from Tsubame-Sanjo—and it’s so outstanding that after using it at home I honestly felt it might be “the best spoon in the world,” just like this Hotel. A Hotel that can curate souvenirs like these really might be number one! I always care more about where something is manufactured than who sells it, so I think this Hotel has impeccable taste with its strong selection of local specialties. On this trip—despite having visited dozens of times—I realized for the first time that even just browsing this souvenir corner makes staying here worthwhile. In any case, this is truly an excellent Hotel with wonderful staff who have great taste as well. We’ll definitely be back!

I love the waters of Sakihana Onsen, so I stayed at Issuiso with my elderly mother. We chose a Room with beds, and the view of the garden greenery was very soothing. The mattress firmness was just right, and both my mother and I were able to relax and take our time. Every dish was well seasoned and made with local ingredients; each one was truly delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and you could feel the care even in something as simple as a cup of tea. There were many kinds of desserts as well, making it a highly satisfying meal from start to finish. The Onsen had beautiful emerald-green water with a gentle sulfur scent, letting us fully enjoy what makes Sakihana Onsen special. It rained on the day we used the private open-air bath, but it had a roof, and soaking while listening to the rain was incredibly relaxing. All of the staff were full of hospitality, and their service was excellent. At checkout we happened to see an SL steam locomotive too, which became a wonderful memory for my mother and me. It was a comfortable Accommodation that made me want to return again.

About once every 1–2 months, when I come to Kanagawa on business, I stay here every time. The bed is spacious and very comfortable, the bathroom facilities are new and clean, and although it’s close to the station, it’s not noisy—those are the reasons I like it. I also appreciate that not everything is overly systematized. The relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere is great too. So thank you again for this stay. I’ll be back again.

For a Japanese accommodation these days, I was surprised not to see many international guests. The Accommodation was clean, and the meals were good with everything we needed. The Onsen was also nice, but I felt it might have been a bit small for female guests.

I stayed for a two-night, three-day trip this time. When I stayed at a nearby auberge in May, I was struck by the views of the Yatsugatake Mountains, Mt. Fuji, and the Southern Alps under an огром sky—and I felt it would be a waste to spend only one night in a place like this. Another reason was that I wanted to enjoy the fireplace, so I chose a Room with one. It turned out to be exactly the right choice. When I opened the window, I could hear birds singing, frogs croaking, and cows lowing in the distance. Combined with the crackling of firewood in the fireplace, it was incredibly relaxing—truly a great way to relieve stress. For meals, we ate at Seisenryo’s restaurant for everything except lunch on the first day. You can dine while looking out at the mountains, then head straight back to your Room and enjoy the fireplace. I’m thinking of staying again in October or November next time—hopefully with a clear view of the starry sky. This place offers an exceptional level of comfort and relaxation in your Room that’s hard to find elsewhere, so I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this Accommodation to celebrate my husband’s parents’ golden wedding anniversary. The Room was much more spacious than we expected, and we were able to relax in great comfort. We also really appreciated being able to enjoy complimentary drinks, sweets, and light snacks whenever we wanted. However, we were a bit concerned about the attitude of the boat operator on the way to the annex Onsen, so we took the bus back. It was especially disappointing because the view from the boat was wonderful. All of the other staff were very kind and attentive. My parents-in-law were delighted as well, and it turned into a truly satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed for two nights, and it was the perfect getaway. The detached guesthouse at the end of a lovely walking path was very comfortable and spacious, and we truly felt at ease. The Onsen had a wonderfully soft feel, and we enjoyed it many times. The staff were also incredibly warm and welcoming. The meals were outstanding—beautifully balanced flavors, and every dish was deeply satisfying. It was a truly enjoyable stay, and we would love to visit again someday. Thank you very much.

I couldn't have breakfast due to my early departure, but I appreciated the nutritional drink and nougat provided.

The Room was very clean, and the attentive service made our stay extremely comfortable. The surrounding area is also quiet, making it an ideal Accommodation for a relaxing getaway. When staying in Kanazawa, I would like to use it again.

Butterbur Shinoda rolls, vinegared dried taro stems, and the breakfast pumpkin soup—everything beyond the main dish was also delicious, with the chef’s kindness and sure touch coming through. The in-room dining service, delivered with just the right timing and a comfortable sense of distance (without over-explaining), is especially appealing. The Onsen in the Room was silky and seemed to cling to the skin; even after returning home, I felt my skin looked “whiter” and noticed a brightening effect. Highly recommended.
