Because everything is kept clean, even the self-serve all-you-can-drink option feels comfortable.

The breakfast is excellent, and the accommodation rates are reasonable, so I often stay here.

The Room feels modern and pleasant. Dinner was delicious, with a great variety of shrimp dishes. However, it was disappointing that the bidet did not work. It seems my friend’s Room also could not use the bidet, so it may need inspection.

[Light Meals / Dining Area] A satisfying, just-right portion size—especially appreciated by women. Same-day Reservation also OK! (Dinner & breakfast included) ...Stayed on the above Plan [Guest Room & Amenities] Stayed in an 8-tatami room on the second floor. The toilet and wash area had been renovated, so there were no inconveniences. Amenities were more than sufficient. [Staff & Service] For someone like me who doesn’t want anything excessive, it was exactly what I needed. The warm send-off at check-out was a nice touch. [Onsen & Bath] Since there weren’t many guests, I was able to enjoy the large public bath almost privately, which was very satisfying. The private bath is not time-slot based—it's available whenever it's open. I used it for a morning bath; the semi-open-air setting felt great. [Meals] Although it was a light Plan (?), both the quantity and quality were plenty. Both dinner and breakfast included mountain vegetables, giving a real sense of Nagano’s local flavors. [Facility & Equipment] The traditional Japanese-style building has plenty of history and charm. As access to the second floor is by stairs only, I felt that older guests would be better off staying on the first floor. *I would definitely consider staying again.*

The bath and toilet were separate, and the bathtub was spacious—I enjoyed soaking in it several times. The bed was sturdy with no squeaking, and the pillow was a “Hitsuji ga Inai Makura,” so I slept soundly! I wasn’t bothered at all by noise from the neighboring Room. The only thing that concerned me was a drunk person sleeping on the front desk sofa—was it really okay to leave them there?

I stayed here to meet my relatives after a long time. The parking lot was spacious and secure, the staff greeted us warmly, and the breakfast was consistently enjoyable as always. This time, the only issue was hearing snoring from the neighboring Room right after entering mine. However, it happened just that once, and it was quiet and comfortable after returning from being out. Thank you to the staff for accommodating my requests so kindly!

The staff were very helpful, and it was a Hotel with excellent service. Considering the price range, style of stay, concept, and services offered, it was a great Hotel and our whole family was satisfied. Its location near the station, the many nearby restaurants, and the convenient distance to sightseeing spots were ideal. Also, there was no noise around bedtime at all, so we slept soundly.

I was initially concerned as there was no mention of a hairdryer, etc., on the Hotel's website, but everything necessary was provided, which was reassuring. The Room and bathroom were clean. The single Room was slightly small but reasonable considering the price. There is only one elevator, but it was fast. It would be helpful if the website included a map for after getting off at Suwa Shrine.

We stayed at this Hotel looking forward to seeing fireflies and the starry sky. We saw far more fireflies than we imagined, and it felt like a magical world. The sky became cloudy from the evening, so we couldn’t see the stars at all. The Hotel was wonderful and helped us forget our everyday busyness. We would like to stay again.

Our family of four was able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay.

It was my first visit to Shinwa-no-Yu in almost 10 years, and I was able to relax very comfortably (in the Hakodate dialect). The Accommodation was clean, and I was satisfied. I look forward to staying with you again.

Everything—the Room, the bath, and the meals—was excellent, but above all, the staff were truly outstanding. Even though we caused you trouble with changes to the Shuttle Service pickup location due to our circumstances and issues such as a locker malfunction in the bath area, you responded with great kindness. My daughter and I kept saying how glad we were that we stayed here. Thank you very much. We expect to visit the island several more times in the future, so we will continue to stay at your Accommodation.

I occasionally use R9. It’s a great way to keep costs down—especially the humidifier during the dry season. In hot weather I bring a cooler box, so I particularly like having a refrigerator that can freeze ice packs. The other amenities are more than sufficient, and the value for money is excellent. It’s also nice that the air conditioner is sometimes turned on in advance during summer heat. I’d like to stay again. If I had one complaint, it would be the complimentary frozen meals—I’d appreciate it if the seasoning could be improved a bit.

Although it’s called a Hotel, the system felt more like a whole-building vacation rental—for example, you take the key out from a dial lock in front of the Room. [Location] It’s about 15 minutes to the center of Minami, so it’s not bad but not great either. If you walk from the Minami area through the underground mall (Namba Walk), there’s a large supermarket on the way, which makes it easy to pick up late-night snacks or breakfast and head back without much inconvenience. The nearest convenience store (Lawson) is also close. OCAT is nearby as well, which was very convenient for me as an Itami Airport user. [Facilities Overall] We used a family Room. There isn’t a kitchen like many vacation rentals have, but there is a microwave. Even at night, it stays bright outside due to lighting, and since the curtains are not blackout curtains, depending on the person and season it may affect how easily you fall asleep or wake up. An eye mask might be helpful. Amenities are well stocked. We had a Multiple Night Stay; when we hung out the cleaning request sign, they replaced towels and replenished amenities. Trash is basically disposed of in the hallway trash bins. [Beds] A single bed listed on their website wasn’t shown in photos, so I didn’t know where it would be until arrival. There was a dead-end-like space extending along the window from the table by the window, and that’s where it was placed. Since it’s a narrow space enclosed on three sides, some people might actually find it cozy. The mattress firmness is average. There are power outlets near all beds, so charging phones etc. is easy. [Bath/Toilet] They are properly separated into different rooms. The bath area is small but acceptable. The changing area is also separate. I felt there was slight odor coming up from the drain at times, but it wasn’t bothersome. [Service] When I contacted them by email with questions, they responded quickly and politely. However, I didn’t stop by reception on check-in day, so I can’t comment on front desk service in person.

I stayed here during a solo touring trip in Nagasaki. Since I was traveling by motorcycle, I was worried about parking, but they let me park inside the garage, which was great. Although I chose a Plan without meals, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it wasn’t an issue. The building itself is old, but it’s well maintained and clean. The Facility is also solid: a unit bath with a washlet toilet seat, a spacious bed, and a modern air conditioner. Considering how low the Accommodation Fee was, I’m extremely satisfied. I’ll definitely stay again.

The Room was spacious, the free breakfast was included, and the price was affordable—absolutely no complaints and very satisfying! I’d love to stay again if I have a chance to visit the area.

We stayed for one night as a couple. From the entrance, the atmosphere was charming, and we felt a sense of escape from the ordinary as soon as we stepped inside. The hospitality was polite yet not overly formal, making it very comfortable. There were three private Onsen baths with natural hot spring water, allowing us to relax at our own pace. Dinner was served in a private room separate from our accommodation, and both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The explanations about the meals were also thorough. The lounge was never crowded, and with an all-inclusive service, we enjoyed carefully selected beverages such as beer, sake, plum wine, juice, and coffee. It’s an accommodation I would love to revisit with my beloved family again.

Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality. From the warm welcome upon our arrival until we left the Accommodation, our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The tasteful selection of tea and sweets served on arrival only heightened our anticipation for the meals. Both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared, with each dish carefully crafted, and my wife and I enjoyed them with genuine admiration. The salt served alongside was perfectly balanced and paired wonderfully with both sashimi and rice. As I had mentioned ingredients I do not care for, you kindly adjusted the menu accordingly, allowing me to enjoy everything deliciously. We are truly grateful to the head chef and the attendant for their considerate care. For bathing, we enjoyed the open-air bath attached to our Room as well as the large public bath and two open-air baths (rotating by time). All were at a comfortable temperature with excellent water quality, and we bathed four times during our stay. For us as a couple who travel to enjoy baths and great food, it was pure bliss. One small regret is that while we loved the Onsen manju in our Room, we only learned afterward that if we had ordered in advance the day before, we could have purchased freshly made ones the next day. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

Since we were using one room for four people this time, there were some unavoidable issues, but the towel rack was full, and we had trouble finding a place to put the used bath towels. We were unsure whether it was okay to throw tea and coffee grounds directly into the trash can. Thank you for accommodating our troublesome requests at checkout. The view of Mount Fuji from the infinity-style bath overlooking Lake Kawaguchi was magnificent.

The machiya-style Accommodation was wonderful. The bathroom was clean and easy to use, and the bed was fluffy, so I slept very well. The sea is nearby, and the quiet, charming streetscape made it a relaxing place to stay. The stairs were steep and a little scary, but it also added to the machiya atmosphere, which I appreciated.
