This time again, I stayed on the Simple Stay plan in an Economy Room for one person. There is another business hotel nearby, but I always end up choosing this Accommodation for its easy access to the downtown area (the bars I usually go to), plus the massage chair and the bath. Before meeting up for drinks this time as well, I enjoyed the free drinks in the lounge and had a solo “pre-party.” After checkout, I stocked up on souvenirs for my wife at Donremy Outlet Kitasenju, which is attached to the property. It’s a reliable Accommodation in Kitasenju, so I’ll be back again.

For the past 4–5 years, we have visited around the May holidays, but this time we came to Amami during the July holiday weekend. Instead of the unsettled weather before the rainy season, we enjoyed consecutive clear days and were soothed by Amami’s truly beautiful blue sea and sea turtles. As always, the staff’s outstanding hospitality and pleasant conversations make us want to come back again. The Room is a comfortable size, and soaking in the outdoor bath on the deck while looking up at the starry sky—along with the tropical plants in view—really helps you unwind. With tasteful amenities and consistently fun, delicious meals, this is a Hotel where you can take your time and enjoy both breakfast and dinner at a relaxed pace, truly feeling like you’re on holiday. We plan to visit again next July. Since I love Hawaii, I’m planning another trip next month as well—but this feels like what you’d choose in Hawaii when you want to relax on an outer island rather than Oahu or Waikiki. I think it’s an ideal place to do nothing but swim in the ocean and enjoy how wonderful it feels to gaze at a star-filled sky.

I’d seen this Hotel featured in “hotel relatable moments” posts here and there, and it made me curious—I’d always wanted to stay someday. When I was planning to visit Marugame Castle, I found it. It’s great value for money, and best of all, breakfast is free. There isn’t a huge variety, but it was tasty and satisfying. I also enjoyed the free udon—it was delicious. There is an Onsen that isn’t unnecessarily large, but since it was hot out, I could relax and relieve my fatigue. That deserves a high score. The Room was also very clean; the bed was spacious, and the TV was large—everything was great. The staff were polite and made me feel comfortable. The Room size had no wasted space—personally, it felt perfect. It’s also nice that you can see Marugame Castle from the Room. I’m extremely satisfied with everything and had a comfortable stay. If I have another chance while traveling somewhere again, I’d definitely like to use this place. Thank you very much. I’m looking forward to more “hotel relatable moments” posts (lol).

The kindness of the staff, the comfort of the Room, and the truly delicious cuisine—everything was as wonderful as always. It has been three years since reopening, and I was heartbroken to hear the sad news that it will close in November. I am truly disappointed and at a loss for words. It was a superb auberge. I will visit again before it closes.

I gave my daughter and her husband, both in their 20s, an Accommodation stay with the Club Lounge Plan as a gift to celebrate the birth of their baby. We, the grandparents, looked after the baby so the couple could relax and enjoy some time together. From check-in, they received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine from the Hotel to celebrate the birth, and they were truly touched by the warm hospitality. They said it was great fun to stroll through the gardens while visiting the Club Lounge. I’m glad they enjoyed it even more than I expected. I’m posting this in hopes that many others will have a wonderful stay at this Hotel. Thank you very much.

Kyoto offers many different ways to enjoy your stay depending on the area you choose and the character of each Hotel. This was my first time staying at this Hotel, and it is in a very convenient location just a short distance from Shijo-Karasuma, which can be considered the center of downtown Kyoto. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the station whether you arrive by Hankyu Railway or the subway. Nearby are places like Goodman Roaster Kyoto and Unzen, as well as many wonderful cafes and coffee shops that have opened over the past few years—just visiting them is enjoyable in itself. Ogaki Shoten (Main Store), with its large and unique selection of magazines and books, is also close by, and Daimaru is within walking distance. There are also grocery supermarkets such as Fresco and Moritaya right nearby, making this a great area for spending time as if you live in Kyoto. Since the Hotel opened in 2019, both the Facilities and Room interiors still feel new and were very comfortable. The Room I stayed in wasn’t particularly large, but the layout was well designed so it didn’t feel cramped. It had a comfortable bed and a fairly large sofa, and the bathroom had a spacious bathtub, which made my stay very relaxing. I stayed on the 4th floor this time, and the view from the window wasn’t great due to nearby apartment buildings; however, that’s common for Hotels in central Kyoto and can’t really be helped. With that in mind, I felt it might even be fine to choose a Room on a lower floor. Breakfast didn’t have an especially wide variety of items, but everything gave me the impression of being properly prepared. I especially liked the large-bean natto. The staff at both reception and breakfast were very polite yet friendly. Overall, I found this to be a very satisfying Hotel. I was impressed that they maintain this level of service at this price point. In Kyoto I usually make hotels around City Hall or west of the Imperial Palace my regular choices, but I would like to add this Hotel to that list as well. Thank you again—I look forward to staying here again.

It felt like an extraordinary getaway—almost as if we were traveling abroad. Both the Japanese staff and the fun international staff provided wonderfully pleasant service, making our stay even more enjoyable. At dinner, they introduced the menu, and our middle- and high-school-aged children were able to enjoy the meal while chatting. At breakfast, we could also see beautiful Mt. Yotei. The fresh sashimi and Hokkaido vegetables in particular were truly delicious. The Room was spacious, with an island kitchen that felt like something you’d find overseas. There is a separate bath and shower Room, two toilets, and a TV in each Room. The private bath was a big hit with our teenage daughter. As a mother, I was especially grateful for the washing machine in the Room—it really helped to be able to wash clothes that got wet during river rafting in Niseko! Just a short walk away is Tokyu Grand Hirafu’s activity Facility, where our whole family enjoyed pickleball from the morning. There are also photo spots, so we made great use of even the small amount of time before check-in or after check-out without wasting a moment—and captured wonderful memories too! It was such a lovely Hotel that it made us think, “We want to come back!”

Having stayed here before, I thought my grandchildren would love it, so we booked the villa for a three-generation stay with my daughter’s family. The moment my daughter and son-in-law walked in, they were overwhelmed by the view and exclaimed, “This is amazing!” and “It feels like the home of someone who became successful at a young age,” absolutely delighted. The grandchildren also went into the garden jacuzzi again and again, saying it was “like a pool.” When they got tired of the jacuzzi, they played at the nearby “Kaze no Buranko” swing. Because it’s a villa, you can relax without worrying about others—an ideal Facility for families with small children. The staff also provided thoughtful hospitality that anticipated our needs. We were extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.

A one-night trip with three friends. On the day of our stay, they picked us up at the station regardless of our arrival time, and after checkout they stored our luggage and later drove us back to the station after sightseeing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, we were able to relax in the Onsen, and the Room was spacious—making it a truly wonderful trip. This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again. We arrived by car, parked at the Hotel, and walked five minutes to AEON to watch an evening movie and have dinner. The breakfast area was spacious and clean, with counter seats by the window (the view is only of the parking lot). The scrambled eggs were delicious. It was also great that we could watch YouTube as a guest. We will stay again.

I made a Reservation for a Plan that included all-you-can-drink, a seven-course meal, and a Room divided into three separate sleeping areas. The all-you-can-drink selection was extensive, and there were especially many great-looking sake options. You do need to go and get drinks yourself, but it was actually fun to choose, and since the Facility isn’t very large, it didn’t feel like a hassle. The yakiniku dinner was delicious, and it was also enjoyable to grill and season everything while reading the instructions. The bath wasn’t huge—just a standard Onsen—but it also had a sauna and an open-air bath. The Room’s sleeping spaces were partitioned off, which made it feel like a secret hideout. Both the breakfast curry and rice porridge were surprisingly delicious. Everything—from the meals to the Room—was excellent, and the staff were polite and attentive, making it a wonderful memory. I’d love to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything—the large public bath, the private bath, drinks in the lobby, snacks, dinner, and beverages. The only disappointment was that I dozed off after dinner again this time and couldn’t try the curry. We will stay again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay in Yufuin Onsen. We stayed in a two-bedroom Room with an open-air bath. Each Room was separate, so it was very quiet and relaxing. The Onsen water left my skin feeling smooth, so I thought it might be alkaline. You can adjust the temperature of the open-air bath to your liking, which is perfect for anyone who prefers lukewarm baths! The Room felt a bit old, but it was spacious and easy to use. What I liked most was the firmness of the bed. I believe it was a Simmons mattress—just right. My wife loved it too. I didn’t have high expectations for the meals given the price, but we enjoyed them, including wagyu sukiyaki. The bottled beer we ordered with dinner was 650 yen, which felt inexpensive for Hotel pricing. Overall, I recommend this Hotel for those who want to relax and enjoy the hot water and nature without leaving their Room. Since it’s far from town, I recommend shopping in advance.

Due to work, I needed to park a truck about the length of a microbus. They allowed me to park in the space behind the Hotel. Before arriving, I called near the Hotel and they kindly gave me directions and waited for me at the entrance. Since it was a completely unfamiliar town, their attentive support made me feel at ease. It was a long trip from Niigata Prefecture, so I was relieved. When I asked because I couldn’t figure out how to operate the Room air conditioner, they explained it carefully. The Room is clean. Breakfast was delicious. At an affordable price, it’s a good Hotel where you can feel safe and rest comfortably.

I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. I plan to give her another trip as a gift once more within this year, and I would appreciate your kind support when that time comes.

This was my first time staying at Mets. It was easy to access via Shinagawa, and on the way back I stopped by Gotanda, so transferring to the Tokyu Line was also convenient. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western set meals, so you can enjoy whatever suits your mood.

The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. The Onsen water was also excellent. Since it was a weekday, there were few guests, so I could relax and enjoy the bath. If I had to mention one thing, the water temperature was a bit too hot, so I couldn’t stay in for long.

We thoroughly enjoyed the silky Yuda Onsen. We also chose the BBQ for dinner, and everything was delicious (beef, pork, chicken, vegetables, etc.). The Matsuri sauce in particular was outstanding—we bought three bottles to take home. We stayed in a Japanese-style room; it was spacious, and the futon was comfortable, so we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

The property, amenities, and hospitality were all excellent, and we happened to be able to watch fireflies as well, making our stay extremely satisfying.

Starting August 1, I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days on the Long Stay Plan. On the first day, I took a local bus from Nagano Station to Yama-no-Eki, then used the Hotel’s Shuttle Service from Yama-no-Eki and arrived at the Hotel around 12:15. I had pizza and pasta for lunch at the restaurant and then checked in. Check-in is usually at 16:00, but since my Room had already been cleaned, I was shown to my Room shortly after 13:00 (which I truly appreciated). My Room was a Deluxe Twin Room, and because it was a corner Room, it felt very open and spacious. The balcony was also large, and it became part of my daily routine to relax there in the morning and evening—reading or simply enjoying the view. During my stay, the high temperature was 24°C and the low was 15°C. With low humidity, it was extremely comfortable. There was no need for air conditioning, and I slept soundly at night. The Hotel activities were also excellent. Options included an Okushiga Gorge Nature Walk (through a beech forest with an impressive waterfall) and an evening firefly viewing tour. Hotel staff accompanied us throughout, so I could enjoy everything with peace of mind. The morning forest stretch session was also wonderful—the kind instructor explained everything carefully, which helped me relax deeply. There were Japanese, Italian, and Chinese dining options available, so I could enjoy a variety of flavors—and every dish was delicious (including lunch). The staff service was pleasant as well; they noticed what guests needed before being asked and acted promptly. I also won’t forget how comfortable the lounge on the 2nd floor felt. During the day it is open as part of the lobby area, making it a great place to unwind quietly. Next time, I would love to visit when there is a fire in the lounge fireplace. It was a wonderful four days that truly refreshed both body and mind.
