We stayed as a family of five, and the place was spacious with plenty of Rooms, and there was enough bedding for everyone to sleep comfortably. Overall, it was very clean and well maintained, the price was reasonable, and we were extremely satisfied in every way. We truly hope to stay again.

The building itself looks old, but the interior has been thoroughly renovated, creating an open and comfortable space on both the first and second floors. We stayed as a family of four with our 0-year-old and 1-year-old children with No Meals Included. We had a wonderful time fishing for gray mullet in the sea right in front of us, preparing it for shabu-shabu, buying bonito from a nearby seafood shop (Ototo), grilling it over charcoal at the hearth, and making tataki. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the basic seasonings needed—no complaints there! They even provided snacks for late-night meals and marshmallows for roasting. One thing to note is that the bathroom is slightly detached from the main building, so you have to go outside to access it; this means you'll inevitably get wet on rainy days. Also, there are no screens on windows or doors, so insects can come in (but mosquito coils are provided as countermeasures). All things considered, this was an amazing Accommodation! We definitely plan to visit again as a family!

The Room was clean and comfortable, and it was well equipped with appliances and tableware, so we could relax as if we were at home. We didn’t rent a car this time, but it was convenient to have a convenience store and Times Car Share nearby. The provided dishwashing detergent didn’t remove grease very well, so it would be even better if you could provide a commercially available one.

It was great to have access to a washing machine and dryer. Detergent and fabric softener were provided, but they were empty when I wanted to use them, possibly due to high usage. Because of this, I rated it 4 stars, but it was still a nice free service. The Room was spacious, clean, and had a fresh new smell with a relaxing layout. Dishes and cooking utensils were well-equipped, which was very convenient. The bathroom was clean with shampoo and conditioner provided. Even though the Facility seemed fully booked, noise wasn’t much of an issue. The security for the entrance and indoor doors felt reliable as well. I would love to use this Facility again in the future! Thank you!

This beautifully renovated traditional house features a calm, relaxing interior finished with solid wood and plaster. In the early morning it felt more than 5°C colder than Tokyo, but there is not only air conditioning but also a kerosene fan heater, and once the house warms up it’s very comfortable. As the renovation was completed recently and cleaning is thorough, everything felt very clean. As described on the website, the kitchen is well equipped—enough to cook most meals—and having basic seasonings provided is rare for an entire-home rental and was extremely helpful. There is no TV, but there is a Bluetooth speaker and a record player, making it a great place to relax with music or read. I brought a small projector and had no trouble projecting onto the wall. Step outside and you can enjoy magnificent views of the Southern Alps; with little traffic, it’s a wonderful area for walks. I arrived by public transportation, and both Yamanashi Kotsu buses and the local community bus stop nearby, so getting around was easy. However, I heard that Yamanashi Kotsu routes will be discontinued at the end of March 2026; relying only on about five community bus services per day may be quite limiting. There’s a convenience store within walking distance, and around Nirasaki Station you’ll find a shopping mall as well as stylish cafés, pizza places, vintage clothing shops, bakeries, bars, and more—I felt this town development could be promoted even more. The owner was very considerate in many ways, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

We stayed for 4 nights, but unfortunately it rained throughout our stay and we couldn’t really go out onto the terrace. Still, we had a very comfortable time. After checking out, we stayed at a slightly more expensive Hotel, but we liked Loconia Terrace better (lol). We’d love to come back to watch the sunset from that terrace. We also enjoyed the souvenir you gave us on the beach—it was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

After the May holidays, I stayed one night in a dormitory as a solo guest with a same-day Reservation. The owner was kind and shared lots of helpful information about the town, so I had a comfortable stay. There was also a shared refrigerator and kitchen, which was convenient to use. Since the road is nearby, guests who need complete silence to sleep may notice some traffic noise. With the window closed it was quiet, and I slept without any issues. Overall, I had no problems and enjoyed a comfortable stay.

The meals were excellent. It was a shame there was no refrigerator or safe.

Stayed with 5 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 5)! The place was clean and comfortable! Great location, close to Kokusai Street! Would love to stay here again!

We chose this Ryokan because our 7-year-old wanted to try fishing, and we also wanted to eat live squid. The Facility itself felt like a classic Showa-era Ryokan—an older building with what seemed like quite a lot of Rooms—but it appears they currently limit reservations to only 2–3 parties. Since I work in real estate, I found myself imagining how challenging it must have been in the past to serve meals and accommodate large numbers of guests here. As for the fishing, the proprietress kindly taught us step by step, which was a huge help. However, perhaps due to the heavy rain, we only caught one small fish. Still, our child was thrilled, and it became a wonderful experience. For dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed the squid we had been looking forward to, and they also served our catch as fried fish. We were very satisfied. Saga Prefecture is far from where we live, so I’m not sure when we’ll be able to visit again—but if we get the chance, I’d love to return. The area around the Facility felt a bit quiet due to an aging population, but I hope this traditional Japanese Ryokan continues for many years.

I stayed in the accommodation adjacent to the business hotel. The room was clean, and the bedding was fresh. The bath felt like a medium-sized public bath. When I went at 5 PM, it was slightly lukewarm, but my child seemed to find it just right. (By nighttime, it had warmed up properly.) I initially thought I would have dinner at the izakaya on-site, but it was fully booked. However, the front desk immediately suggested another place nearby, and a dining spot just a few minutes' walk away turned out to be delicious as well. There’s also a convenience store about five minutes away on foot, making it relatively convenient. The room had two power outlets; with one used for the TV, only one remained available, which felt slightly insufficient. Shared facilities like a refrigerator and kettle were available too, allowing for a comfortable one-night stay! Thank you very much!

Shun Ryotei Matsukawa Kofu Personally, I’ve visited Kofu several times for work, but I always headed straight home once the job was done. This time, since the next day became free, I decided to stay privately—and while researching, this place caught my eye. It used to be a traditional Japanese restaurant and has been renovated into a rare Accommodation, with only two Rooms in total. And this time, I was the only guest—so in a way, it felt like having the place all to myself. Even so—no surprise—the breakfast was outstanding, just as you’d expect from a ryotei. The hospitality from the husband and wife was wonderful as well. Because I was alone, they kindly let me use the large hall almost like a private dining room, and I could enjoy such stylish and delicious breakfast slowly and leisurely on a Sunday morning. This is it. This is exactly it— the real-life essence of weekend travel.

I just stayed here in March, but I came back again! It’s such a relaxing Accommodation, and I’d love to return for another restful getaway. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

I heard that this Accommodation was created by renovating an old vacation home. The windows (double-glazed) and the bathroom have been renewed, and it was very comfortable. I was truly impressed by the eco-conscious approach and the concept of valuing nature. We stayed with three people, and it was spacious enough. We took the Shinkansen to Sakudaira Station and rented a car. We shopped in advance at Tsuruya in front of Komoro Station before heading to the cottage. There is one private house next door, but it was so quiet that we couldn’t hear anything at all. We also enjoyed a BBQ and had a very satisfying time.

A wonderful private rental Accommodation on Maejima Island, about a 5-minute ferry ride from Ushimado Port. The Room and Facility were spotless, and the bath offered spectacular views of the calm Seto Inland Sea and a beautiful sky. The meal was also excellent—super-fresh sashimi, plenty of small side dishes, and delicious grilled kama—with generous portions that left us completely full. Beautiful sunflowers were in full bloom on the island as well. It was a relaxing trip to Okayama. We’d love to visit again in spring or autumn. Thank you!

It felt like coming back to my grandmother’s home in the countryside. It wasn’t an Onsen, but the bath was family-sized and helped soothe my tired body after the Jomon Sugi trek. Thank you!

I happened to find a place on Lake Hamana where both dogs and cats can stay, but there were many things I couldn’t fully understand even after communicating with the Hotel, so I was nervous until the day of our stay… However, not only was the spacious Airstream extremely comfortable, but the entire area felt like a luxury resort—complete with a Lake Hamana view, a starry sky, a löyly sauna, and even a bonfire service. Both our dog and cat were able to truly relax and we felt completely refreshed. The French meal at the adjacent Hotel was excellent, and so was breakfast—simply finishing off the prepared items and eating outside the Room. This is all thanks to your thoughtful attention to detail, considerate service, and carefully selected amenities. Thank you very much. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed for two nights. The Room was very spacious and clean, and it had everything we needed, so we were able to relax comfortably without any issues. When we stepped out onto the terrace through the large window, a magnificent natural landscape spread out before us—it was truly a soothing Accommodation. We would definitely like to stay again.
