I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here—at least four. As the title says, it’s five seconds to the beach. The ocean view from the living room is stunning. The sea was a bit rough this time, but the contrast between the white crests and the blue-green water made it even more striking. The Southeast Asian–style interior you can see in the photos is wonderful and exceptionally clean—nothing to complain about. It’s probably among the very best vacation rentals. Personally, I was a little disappointed that the BBQ Facility I’d enjoyed up until last year is no longer available.

This was our second stay, following last year, and we were very satisfied. The mountain road to the Accommodation seemed better lit than last year, so we felt safe even at night. We were also glad to have the unexpected chance to chat with the owner. Summer really is the best. We’ll be back again.

We went touring around the Miyama area and stayed at this Accommodation for one night with two friends. It’s in a place with amazing views, and the Accommodation was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated with artwork. There is a bath on the second floor, and soaking in it while looking out at the mountains was absolutely wonderful. For dinner, we made a special request and they prepared amago trout for us; the chicken hot pot and wild boar were incredibly delicious. The view while dining was also very nice. Breakfast was Japanese-style, and the local ingredients were excellent. The hosts were very kind and easy to talk to, and we truly appreciate all their help. Even though it was just one night, it was deeply relaxing—we could take our time, and it turned into an amazing day. Since the scenery changes with each season, we definitely want to stay at this Accommodation again! We also received jam and a penlight as souvenirs.

It was wonderful!!! Everything was clean, and it had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A campfire, sauna, outdoor grill, pool, jacuzzi, starry skies—and a quiet, safe private space where we could truly relax. Nearby there were supermarkets for groceries, a specialty ham and sausage shop, a delicious soba restaurant, and day-use Onsen facilities as well, so our family was able to unwind and enjoy our time together. The Southern Alps mountains were absolutely stunning!! The staff were also kind. We would definitely love to come back again.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days to celebrate his birthday. I’ve visited Awaji Island many times, but I’d never had the chance to catch a sunset on the west coast and always missed it. On the first day, it was unfortunately cloudy with light rain, so I had almost given up again—but the wind pushed away the thick clouds, and we were miraculously able to enjoy a beautifully glowing sunset. It was truly stunning. The weather was comfortable with occasional sunshine and light cloud cover, so driving around felt great as well. Wanting to try Awaji beef, we bought fresh meat at nearby Hamanishi Shoten and enjoyed a delicious meal. We took it easy, worked up a serious sweat in the barrel sauna, explored the surrounding area, and fully enjoyed Awaji Island. The Facility is clean, and the kitchen is stocked with olive oil, salt, and other essentials—supplies are more than sufficient. Upstairs there are two bedrooms; with high ceilings and an open atrium design, it feels wonderfully spacious. I also recommend relaxing on the deck chair while watching the ocean early in the morning. It was a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

I stayed with five friends and family members. It was an excellent accommodation with a sauna included.

We stayed here for a trip with two families. The bright, spacious living room was amazing. With two bedrooms and two toilets, we also had plenty of private space. The kids loved the loft—it felt like a secret hideout to them. The electric bikes were easy to use, and the tableware, cookware, and appliances were all stylish and really lifted our mood. There is only one bathroom, so we did have to wait for showers at times, but this villa is so wonderful—you can feel the great taste in every detail. One small request: for a Multiple Night Stay, it would have been helpful to have at least one extra face towel per person. We did laundry, but with a larger group it takes time to dry even with the dryer function. Even so, we were extremely satisfied overall, and everyone agreed we definitely want to stay again! Thank you very much for taking such great care of us!

We visited with my daughter’s family—four generations in total. As soon as you enter, the ocean is right in front of you through the large glass windows. There was a big pool, and everything was set up for a BBQ. The kids never got bored—they ran around the living room and went up to the second floor, having a great time until it was time to leave. It’s a very clean Facility, and the location is perfect. We’re already saying we’d love to stay again. Please note that there are no seasonings or plastic wrap provided, so bring what you need. Also, the rice cooker was unusual—it’s the type where you add water to the outer pot, which was hard to figure out. I think it would be helpful to have written instructions. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

From the second-floor living room, we enjoyed a spectacular Room with panoramic ocean views, and the pool view was also amazing. Although a typhoon hit on our last day, the staff kindly helped us with the cancellation process and other arrangements. It was about a one-minute walk from the Room to the sea, and our family could enjoy a beautiful, empty beach all to ourselves—an excellent Hotel that even comes with a private beach. If we have the chance, we would definitely stay again next time.

The Room was very spacious and comfortable—almost too big for our family of four plus our dog. Soaking in the Onsen while looking out at the ocean, our dog and kids had a great time running around in the large grassy garden. At night we enjoyed fireworks and watched a movie together in the living room, spending a relaxing and peaceful time away from the Golden Week crowds. The dog amenities were also fully provided, which we truly appreciated. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

I have traveled to many places, but this was an indescribably wonderful space where I had a truly great time. Despite the unfortunate rain, I was able to enjoy the outdoors without getting wet. Bringing my dog, enjoying the open-air bath, and experiencing outdoor activities—all my wishes came true!

The entire property, inside and out, was very well cleaned. The Room was spotless. We were told the bed mattress had been upgraded, and it was extremely comfortable—I slept great. The Room also has high ceilings, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. The amenities were so plentiful we couldn’t use them all. The towels were great quality too. The small shelf next to the sink was especially helpful. Since we did laundry, having plenty of towels was perfect. There’s also a dryer—nothing to complain about. For cooking for yourself, everything you could need is provided! There were even items you don’t usually find at other Accommodations, so it felt like being at home. Thoughtful touches stood out as well, like a magnetic towel hanger. I’ve stayed in dozens of whole-house rentals, and the attention to detail in what’s provided here is outstanding. The outdoor pool was amazing too. Bugs didn’t bother us at all—in fact, it made us wonder if there are really this few bugs on Miyakojima. The location is excellent: close to downtown and also very convenient for Irabu Island, which we love. If I had to make a request: the body soap felt quite slippery and didn’t rinse off well, so it didn’t feel like I’d properly washed; and considering taking dishes poolside, it would be reassuring to have some unbreakable tableware as well. A full-length mirror would also be appreciated. Among the places I’ve stayed in Okinawa, this ranks right up there as one of the most comfortable (top one or two). We will definitely stay again!

The owner was incredibly kind, kept in touch frequently, and was very friendly and approachable! The villa itself was wonderful, and the view was amazing! We were able to relax and enjoy the island at a leisurely pace! We’d love to stay here again the next time we visit Ishigaki Island!

Unfortunately, the weather during our stay was rainy, but we were able to relax so comfortably in the Room that we hardly noticed. The living area with an irori hearth was filled with natural light from the large windows, creating an open and inviting space. We enjoyed meals and watched movies on Amazon Prime, spending peaceful time together at our own pace. The Takigawa beef dishes were also delicious and very satisfying. Although it rained, we could still stroll around the grounds and enjoy matcha at the teahouse as well as a tea ceremony experience, which our older family members especially appreciated. The upstairs bedroom also had large windows with a great view, allowing us to spend a quiet and luxurious time. The bath was designed so the window could be opened fully, and it was memorable to soak comfortably while listening to the sound of rain. On our way home, we stopped by a nearby sightseeing spot, Shiraito Falls, which offered a spectacular view as well. This time we unfortunately couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but next time we would love to visit on a clear day and enjoy a stay while taking in the view of Mt. Fuji.

I stayed here twice shortly after it opened, and this time I returned for the first time in seven years. Back then, I felt the service didn’t quite suit us, but this time all the front desk staff were friendly. Perhaps because it was early in the morning, the large public bath was also very well cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. The Room is not large by any means, but considering this location in Gion and the level of service for this price, I was very satisfied. If possible, I would appreciate having bath towels available in the bath area or an extra set of towels placed in the Room. Reusing a wet towel multiple times isn’t pleasant. Also, I would like a “Do Not Disturb” sign for the Room. Even if housekeeping is not expected to enter, mistakes can happen. For security reasons as well, I strongly hope you will consider this. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. Thank you in advance.

This was my second stay, and it reminded me again how good this place is. The Room isn’t huge, but it’s easy to move around and very relaxing. The toilet has an automatic lid and automatic flushing, which is a big help for me since I have back issues. It’s also rare (and convenient) to have a sink inside the toilet area. The bathroom has a separate washing area, and the tub is spacious enough to soak comfortably. The pajamas are a two-piece set with a soft feel. What really earns high marks is the generous service: drinks, snacks, and bread are provided, and bringing items into the Room is also allowed. At other hotels, I end up having to stop by a convenience store just to make sure I have drinks—here there’s no need for that, which makes it much more relaxing. We don’t even need to add breakfast; bread and coffee are enough for us. However, it was disappointing that there were no croissants this time. I also didn’t know how to use the toaster, so it would be helpful if instructions were posted. And when I want tea, I’d appreciate a note explaining where to find hot water. Two years ago I wrote that I wished the TV could play YouTube, and I was happy to see that it can now. The staff’s service and smiles had improved compared with before. As always, the only inconvenience is that the space next to the sink is small. It’s close to Shinbashi Station as well, so it’s convenient not having to wait for a taxi. I think the Accommodation cost is reasonable compared with nearby hotels considering how good the service is. I hope these services won’t be discontinued because of inconsiderate guests. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

A spacious, relaxing Hotel.

As my father is elderly, I wanted to spend some relaxing time nearby while he is still well, so we came from Osaka and stayed for one night. Everything besides the Kuroge Wagyu shabu-shabu dinner was also delicious, but there was so much food that I’m sorry we couldn’t finish it. The breakfast was a very Kyoto-style Japanese meal, and it made me feel quietly happy. The Room was spacious and full of charm, and the staff were polite and welcoming. My father was truly delighted, so I feel I was able to show him proper appreciation. There were also plenty of amenities to choose from freely, which was great as well. At check-out, you kindly saw us off until we were out of sight, which really moved us. Thank you very much! It was still a little early for cherry blossoms this time, so we would love to stay again around cherry blossom season next year.

I booked this pension within walking distance because I had long dreamed of seeing the fresh green metasequoia-lined avenue in the morning and evening. I also used everyone’s Reviews as a reference. Luckily, we were blessed with great weather, and we fully enjoyed the vibrant new greenery along the metasequoia trees and felt refreshed by the clean air. Early in the morning there were hardly any tourists, and our walk became a truly wonderful time. Dinner was delicious from start to finish—from the main Omi beef to the apple sorbet—and we were completely satisfied. The recommended white wine was far better than its price suggested, making the meal even more enjoyable. Breakfast was also outstanding, especially the freshly baked bread and homemade strawberry sauce (jam). Above all, both our room and the large public bath were beautifully maintained and very clean, and in so many moments we felt warmed by the thoughtful hospitality of the owner and family—it became a soothing, heartwarming trip. When we left after check-out, the owner waved goodbye as we drove out of the parking lot, which deeply moved both my husband and me. We would love to visit again in a different season next time. This trip was our first in 15 years as a couple. Our previous trip included our children, but now that they are grown and we've finished raising them, it was just the two of us. This time, we planned a journey along the Venus Line and chose this accommodation near Lake Shirakaba. The facility was clean, the staff were very kind, and we enjoyed dinner while overlooking Lake Shirakaba. To our surprise, there was an unexpected event at Lake Shirakaba that amazed us—it was incredibly beautiful and moving. It became a wonderful memory for us. If we still have the energy to travel from Kansai in the future, we would love to visit again. Thank you very much!
