The staff's service was excellent. They approached us without us having to ask, and their response was quick. Thank you very much. We stayed in a double Room at an affordable price, but it was really just enough space for sleeping. If morning extensions are possible, I would like to prepare leisurely in the Room, so if there were slightly larger Rooms available, I would love to use this place again. Also, this is just a personal request, but if the loungewear were more like pajamas with separate pants and tops that could be worn around the facility, it would be more comfortable for me as an older guest. Walking to the bath in loungewear felt a bit embarrassing.

I stayed here to get away from my hometown for a relaxing break. The Hotel staff were very kind, and I had a wonderful holiday. If I’m in the area again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay in 11 years. The open atrium was truly impressive. Located right behind the Dogo Onsen Main Building, the location is excellent. The front desk offers a 24-hour coffee corner, which is very relaxing. From 3 PM to around 7 PM, there is a free drink corner with highballs and juice on the third floor. As it was for a special occasion and being an IKYU Diamond Member, we were grateful for the room upgrade. The Iyo beef served at dinner was unforgettable—just one more slice would have been perfect (there were two slices). The open-air bath on the top floor offered stunning views of the blue sky, moon, and Matsuyama City below; the hot water was wonderfully warming. Thanks to the efforts of both the manager and hostess, all staff members were kind and attentive. It has transformed into a warm-hearted Ryokan, which made us very happy. We will definitely choose Hanayuzuki again when visiting Dogo Onsen in the future. It was an amazing trip—thank you!

The moment I entered the breakfast venue, I saw Sakurajima and was deeply moved, thinking this was the iconic view of Kagoshima I had always dreamed of. The table layout was excellent, and there was a wide variety of delicious dishes—I was truly impressed. The bath was also great; the carbonated water helped relieve my fatigue. Lastly, the front desk staff were clear in their communication and efficient in their service, which made me feel very comfortable.

The Hotel itself was clean, and we were satisfied with the shower and amenities. However, due to the location, there is a nightlife district nearby with many drunk people, and we could hear police car sirens and police announcements, which made us feel uneasy about safety.

The women’s bath was on the smaller side, but the location was excellent, with a large supermarket next door and a convenience store diagonally across the street. If you adjust your bathing time slightly, you can enjoy it almost privately, which was great. I had business in Tsuruoka City, and the travel distance wasn’t an issue; the staff were also very helpful, so I had a comfortable two-night stay.

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan. As it was the off-season, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. The building is old, but it has been nicely renovated. Since it was a discounted Room, I could hear some plumbing noise, but if you just want to enjoy the Onsen and sleep, this Accommodation is more than satisfactory.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, thanks to the very kind staff. There was too much food at dinner, so I couldn’t finish it. The bath was also very nice. I had hurt my knee, so I didn’t get to walk around the famous garden, but I was able to relax in the Room. There were also USB ports by the bed.

I stayed for one night on a business trip. They upgraded my Room, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. I was also impressed by how politely the foreign front desk staff assisted guests. I will stay here again when I travel to Tokyo for business. Thank you very much.

We stayed at the Washington Hotel for four nights from the 20th to the 24th. On the first day, there was a water leak while I was taking a bath, so I contacted the front desk. They promptly prepared another Room for us (an upgrade). Thank you very much for taking such good care of my daughter and me. Since it is located in central Sakae, we were able to use the Sakae subway to visit many places without needing taxis. We also had amazing seats at two live shows. The Hotel staff were all very pleasant, and we would like to stay here again next time. Thank you for a wonderful four-day trip to Nagoya.

I contacted the property to say that I had missed the last bus from Hana-no-Miyako Park and would not make it in time for check-in. They kindly explained a walking route and told me that if I didn’t need dinner, I could take my time and come carefully. Taking them up on that, I had dinner on the way and checked in, where I was greeted warmly. They also helped me arrange breakfast. The Onsen was spacious, and especially the open-air bath—there were no other guests (maybe I went at a good time?)—so I could truly relax and recover from 14,000 steps of walking. In the morning, when I woke up at 4:30, Mt. Fuji was right in front of me—so close it filled my view. With subtle hues, it was breathtakingly beautiful. The morning bath and then breakfast—everything helped me forget everyday life, thanks to all the staff. Thank you very much.

I used to stay at Mercure quite often overseas, but since I travel less these days, this was my first stay in a while. The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Shimbashi Station and Uchisaiwaicho Subway Station. I believe it was originally an office building, later converted into an annex of a neighboring Hotel, and then rebranded as Mercure. Since the property is scheduled to close soon for renovations, I was grateful to be able to stay at a very reasonable rate. Perhaps because of the location and the brand, most guests were international, and many of the front desk staff were as well (they assisted me in flawless Japanese). With an interior design inspired by a “theater,” the whole place feels even more international. The Room design was also quite bold. There is a couch-like platform near the window where you can lie down and watch trains passing by (Shinkansen, Tokaido Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, etc.). However, getting up onto it takes some effort, and opinions may differ on how practical it really is. Aside from the décor and these design choices, it felt like a slightly upscale Business Hotel. I’m looking forward to seeing what concept it will adopt after the renovation.

Because I often combine hiking with a Hotel stay, I’ve used many Hotels around Nagano Prefecture. This time, I stayed for the first time at this Hotel near the trailhead of Mt. Kurofu, which I frequently visit for hiking. The exterior and interior design were very tasteful, and the atmosphere was wonderful. From the moment I stepped inside, everything—from the lobby to the Room—was spotless and simply lovely. And that wasn’t all: the evening course dinner was excellent in presentation, flavor, and overall composition. I was truly impressed by the chef’s skill and enjoyed a relaxed meal. The morning half-buffet was also a great selection, with items like salmon, olives, and avocado dip that paired perfectly with sandwiches. But what stood out most was the staff’s hospitality. One person came over naturally after dinner for a friendly chat and made our time even more enjoyable. Another kindly turned off some of the outdoor lights when we went out to look at the stars at night, lent us a lantern, and shared recommended stargazing spots as well as tips for taking photos. And at checkout, someone even saw us off all the way to our car. Nothing felt forced—each person’s manner felt genuinely welcoming in such a natural way. I was truly moved. It’s rare to have such an outstanding stay like this; it really made me feel how much comes down to people. A staff member who guided us for stargazing also recommended visiting during autumn when you can see a sea of clouds seasonally—so I definitely want to come back again!

I stayed here on a business trip. There were various comments in the Reviews, but overall I was very satisfied. There wasn’t any one standout feature, but everything was good overall. Next time, I’d like to stay here for a family trip!!

I’ve stayed here several times already. I usually book the Club Floor to relax with drinks in the lounge, and also to work out in the pool next door at Ren and soak in the Onsen. On day one, after check-in I headed straight to the lounge. The familiar staff welcomed me warmly, saying things like, “Today we have Taketsuru,” and “Your usual Blanton’s is right here”—which made me very happy. When it’s hot, beer is a must to start. Three draft beers plus a can of tomato juice makes the perfect Red Eye at just the right moment. I went out for an early meal (after 4 p.m., everywhere is quiet), then came back for whisky time in the lounge again. I enjoyed Taketsuru and Blanton’s on the rocks, with beer as a chaser. Iichiko from a flask mixed with orange juice was also delicious. For my next visit, I requested a good amazake—I’ve recently gotten hooked on drinking amazake mixed with sake. The next morning, I felt refreshed after an early soak in the Onsen—so relaxing. When the lounge opened at 10:00, I had one last beer and headed home satisfied. Thank you again for another wonderful stay.

Every time Comiket came around, I really wanted to stay here, but I could never get a Reservation and ended up booking other nearby Hotels. This time, I finally got to stay. It was close to the waiting line, and the room size and Facility were more than enough if you’re just coming back to sleep. It’s not enough to lower my rating, but there was a light layer of dust on the humidifier, so it would be good to wipe it down. I hope I can book again someday. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. This was our first stay, and we used it as an Accommodation for my daughter the night before her certification exam. [Room & Amenities] This time, we stayed in the “Premium Corner Twin Room.” As only about four years have passed since it opened, the Room was very clean. Being a corner Room, the view was wonderful. It happened to be on the day of a fireworks festival, so I would have preferred an ocean-side Room if possible. [Staff & Service] The front desk staff were excellent. However, it was a bit disappointing that the Hotel parking has limited spaces and we were asked to use a nearby municipal parking lot. [Onsen / Bath] The in-room bath had a separate washing area, which made it very convenient. It was also very clean since everything is still new. [Facility & Equipment] The Facility has a refined design with a consistent style throughout. We also used the pool and found it very relaxing. [Dining] We had planned to eat dinner outside the Hotel, but prioritized my daughter’s study time and ate at the Flora Lounge on the first floor instead. The portions and presentation were great, and everything tasted delicious. Breakfast was also excellent. [Overall Satisfaction] Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. We would like to stay here again next time we visit Hiroshima.

It was spacious and comfortable. The artificial Onsen felt like a proper Onsen. It might be a good option for a Multiple Night Stay. This time, I came to Nasu to dine at a certain restaurant, and even though it was No Meals Included, I was surprised at how affordable it was. I’d like to try other Room types as well.

I stayed here to attend a concert at Tokyo Dome. The front desk staff were very helpful, and having someone on site 24 hours a day made me feel safe. The Room is indeed small, but it’s more than enough if you just need a place to sleep. Bath towels, face towels, a toothbrush set, cups, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer were also provided. Above all, having a private bath and toilet at this price was truly appreciated. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

I made a Reservation for a single Room, but I arrived about 30 minutes before check-in on the day. The front desk staff told me the Room was ready, so I was able to check in right away and head up to my Room. Their service was excellent. When I entered the Room, I was surprised to find it was a spacious twin Room. Since I had originally reserved a single Room, I really appreciated being able to relax in such a roomy space. The Room, bathroom, and toilet were all very clean. I would definitely like to stay here again.
