Thank you for taking care of us every year. Each time we visit, we’re reminded how wonderful ROKU is, and we leave already wanting to come back. The staff are always courteous and calm, which makes us feel at ease. We also enjoy dinner every time; the seasonal menu is delicious and something we look forward to. This time in particular, the melon parfait was outstanding. There is just one thing that always leaves us a little disappointed. I don’t mean to act like a regular, but when checking in or being shown to our Room, we are often treated as if it were our first stay. If our stay history could be shared among the staff so that you could welcome us accordingly, it would make us feel even better. I’m not trying to compare with other places, but because this is a Hotel we truly love and where we are always treated well, it can feel a bit lonely at times.

We stayed as a couple for one night with breakfast included. The twin room was very spacious and clean. The large public bath allowed us to relax, and the breakfast was delicious, making our stay very enjoyable.

Although the weather was unfortunate, there was a flat route from Ofuna Station and the bus stop was covered, so we were able to check in without getting wet. Many of the staff were very pleasant, and I was able to relax with my elderly mother. Thank you for preparing non-slip bath mats and a shower chair in advance. I also found the room temperature settings and the firmness of the bed mattress to be just right for me, making my stay very comfortable. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This was my first stay here the other day. As the building is a renovated former Ryokan, there were a few areas that felt a bit aged, but it was an Accommodation filled with charm that far outweighed any such impressions. The buffet I had been looking forward to was in a class of its own compared with typical offerings—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and everything I tried was seasoned beautifully and truly delicious. Above all, what made me happiest was the warm hospitality of the staff. I stayed with my elderly mother, who has weak legs and uses a cane, and at the restaurant entrance a staff member quickly noticed her situation and smoothly guided us to seats where it would be easier for her to serve herself. Their promptness and kindness at that moment moved me more than words can express. Throughout our stay, every staff member we spoke with responded pleasantly from start to finish, and I could really feel how well their training and hospitality are delivered. Although it was only one night, my mother, my wife, and I were able to spend truly meaningful time together. I would love to return again with my precious family. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories.

I stayed for two days. The Room was very clean, and I was happy to be able to see Matsuyama Castle from the window. Considering the reasonable Accommodation rate, the breakfast was more than sufficient and delicious. It’s a smart, simple Hotel without unnecessary extras, and I’d definitely like to stay here again when I visit Matsuyama. (As I’m very particular about cleanliness, it would be helpful if disposable slippers—like those sold at 100-yen shops—could be purchased at the front desk, since the in-room slippers were not disposable.)

This was our fourth stay including Hatago, and each time we have chosen a different type of Room, enjoying a truly wonderful time. Every Room has its own character, and this one was spacious; the private open-air kinsen bath attached to the Room was also very comfortable. It was such a lovely stay that I’m already looking forward to returning and wondering when we can visit again. The cuisine, which has always been delicious, felt even more refined—beautiful to look at, enticing, and deeply satisfying. Watching the chefs finish the dishes right in front of us and being able to speak with the kitchen staff directly was a delight. At breakfast, I asked all sorts of questions about how to make dashimaki tamago properly (something I never manage well), and although I may have been a bother, they kindly taught me tips in detail—I was truly impressed. My husband has an egg allergy and had avoided eggs for many years despite loving them; however, he recently found that he is fine as long as they are not raw. When we mentioned this, you cooked them thoroughly for him, and he happily finished everything. Also, when I noted at the time of Reservation that it was a birthday trip, you prepared a beautiful watermelon garnish with celebratory lettering. We were touched by everyone’s thoughtful attention to detail, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much. P.S. We are sorry for the trouble after leaving something behind—thank you sincerely for noticing immediately and sending it to us so promptly with such courteous care.

At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. We were touched by everyone’s kindness and thoughtfulness.\nIt was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Thank you very much. We hope to visit again someday.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and were kind to our children. The breakfast and the in-room dinner via room service were both delicious—everything was perfect. We have stayed at several InterContinental Hotels, and among them, the service at InterContinental Hotel Beppu was outstanding. We were truly moved to find a Hotel we want to return to for the first time in a long while.

The split-level Room was very comfortable. Being able to have five people stay in one Room and sleep in separate areas made it perfect for a three-generation trip. We had breakfast at the Accommodation and ate lunch and dinner at restaurants on the island. The Hotel’s breakfast and dinner are set menus, which is understandable given the island location. Breakfast was gently seasoned, made with local island ingredients, and delicious. We also rented a car from the Hotel, so they provided Shuttle Service to the airport, and the snacks provided in the Room were so good that we bought some to take home. We even borrowed a desk lamp for our child’s summer homework, and having a washing machine in the Room was very convenient. Our child didn’t want to swim so we didn’t go into the sea, but the beach in front of the Hotel was beautiful, and there was also a spot where you could lie down at night and watch the stars. It felt like quiet countryside reminiscent of Okinawa’s remote islands, but if we have another chance to visit, I’d like to stay in the South Wing with an ocean view right in front of us as well.

Whether in the lobby, guest room, restaurant, or large public bath, we enjoyed breathtaking ocean views throughout our stay. The warm hospitality and many unique services won us over right away—it was our first visit, but we quickly became fans. We’d love to return again soon.

On the recommendation of an acquaintance who lives in Ibusuki, I stayed here in March and April this year. What stands out most about Ginsho is the delicious food! In addition to fresh local sashimi, the freshly fried Satsuma-age was exceptional. The seasoning was not too strong, and the portions were just right. The Onsen water quality was also excellent. I was able to relax and unwind.\n\nThe friendly and wonderful proprietress, whose warm personality truly shows in her smile, took great care of me. All of the staff were kind and provided very pleasant service. I will visit again soon. Thank you very much for everything!

Close to the station and very convenient. The Room was clean and well-prepared, making it very reasonable for the price. This time, I had an early departure, so I couldn't enjoy the breakfast at leisure despite the variety available, which was unfortunate. Next time, I plan to have a schedule that allows for a relaxed morning.

This was my first time staying in this Room with two generations of our family, our dog, and our first grandchild, although I have stayed here many times before. It did feel a bit small for all of us, but we enjoyed an evening walk around the grounds on a midsummer night, dinner at Ohran was the right choice, and we fully enjoyed the in-room open-air bath and the large public bath for a truly fulfilling stay. The staff at check-in and all other staff were very kind, and we returned home completely satisfied.

The road in front isn’t very busy, and it’s quiet and pleasant.\nThe Don Quijote across the street is also convenient for shopping.\nThe Hotel is always clean and well equipped with everything you need, so you can stay with peace of mind.

First, the front desk staff were clear and courteous. The Room had been renovated and was clean, and it felt well maintained. We were given a questionnaire, but there was nothing to write with in the Room, so it would be nice to have at least one pen available. As for the baths, the indoor bath at night had many small black particles floating in it. Rust from the pipes? I’m not sure what it was, but by the morning bath they were completely gone—maybe the circulation system cleaned it up. The open-air bath was at a perfect temperature. The water quality must be good; my skin felt smooth and it was very relaxing. I noticed in the morning that if you stand by the window in the indoor bath and look outside, you can see across to the parking lot on the other side of the road and even people fishing in the stream. Since it’s on the 5th floor, it may be hard to see from below, but because you can clearly see out from above, I wondered if this is really okay. I feel a bit more privacy screening should be considered for the women’s bath. Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious! The all-you-can-drink option was also fantastic! On departure we received a 1,000-yen Discount Coupon. The validity period is short so I’m not sure when we can stay again, but since it can be used at other Itoen Group Accommodations as well, I’d like to use it if I get a chance. I stayed with my elderly mother and she was very happy. Thank you!

In any case, we were able to spend a truly satisfying time. The staff’s warm welcome left a wonderful impression and felt like the perfect start to an amazing stay. The view from the front desk was beautiful, and both the Room and the bath were great. The meals were delicious, and above all, the scenery while dining was breathtaking—absolutely fantastic. By chance, there was also a fireworks festival that day, and we could even watch it from our Room terrace. It had been a long time since we traveled as a family, and we thought it would be enough just to relax at our own pace—but we ended up having an even more wonderful time than expected. Thank you very much. We would love to visit again.

I visited after a long time. I could only book the Connect Twin before, but since it was a weekday, I was able to stay in the Wide View Twin again. The large windows offering expansive views of the sea and city were wonderful! The Room also had a massage chair. The public bath was as great as ever, providing a relaxing experience. The shampoo and other amenities were different from before, but they didn’t cause any dryness or irritation, which was reassuring. There was also a Refa hair dryer available. Please note that there is no sauna for women in the morning. Breakfast offers a choice between Japanese and Western set meals, with unlimited refills of salad, rice, bread, coffee, etc., making it very satisfying. It seemed like most guests chose the Japanese set meal; I opted for the Western one and appreciated that freshly grilled sausages were brought to my table when they ran out initially. The Himi Udon noodles were also delicious! Parking is convenient if you arrive early enough—you can park on Hotel’s 1st floor or at the flat lot across from it. Even if those are full, the municipal parking isn’t too far away either. It was an excellent stay with great value for money and left me feeling very satisfied overall. The staff provided exceptionally pleasant service throughout my visit. Oh yes—the complimentary coffee service on the 1st floor is much appreciated! Because of this amenity, having only powdered tea in Room wasn’t an issue at all. Thank you very much!

This time I couldn’t reserve a corner Room, but the twin Room was still very comfortable. The Room is always kept clean, but this time there was leftover ice cream from the previous guest in the freezer. That was disappointing. However, I believe this was just an accident, and every time I stay here it is always clean and comfortable. It’s also very close to Hakata Station, so the location is extremely convenient. I will stay here again.

Our family of three stayed here. After checkout, we were truly touched that both the front desk staff and a floor staff member stood together and waved to see us off until we were out of sight. The hospitality was exceptional.
