I have stayed at R9 many times, but this was my first time in a Deluxe Twin Room. The Accommodation was very clean, and the Room was spacious, so I could relax and enjoy my stay. I had only used the standard single type before, so I was truly impressed. The complimentary vanilla ice cream was also delicious. I would love to stay again.

We stayed here to watch the Super Formula race in Motegi and to explore the surrounding area. The Facility was new, and we were very satisfied with the Onsen and breakfast. We were also soothed by Cocoa-chan’s warm welcome, and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

This was my first stay, and I was truly impressed that the air conditioner had already been turned on when I entered the Room. Booking with breakfast was absolutely the right choice—it was delicious. I will make a Reservation again if I have another business trip.

We stayed here for a family trip combined with our annual visit to the graves in Niigata. The building is old, and there was an unpleasant smell outside the room, possibly due to an out-of-service restroom nearby. However, the room was clean, and the Onsen was very relaxing. The Hotel staff were very kind, and we would like to stay here again on our next visit.

The breakfast was more satisfying than during my previous stay! Bread, rice, salad, and more were served in a buffet style, comparable to any standard hotel.

Meals are not included, but there was a wide variety of tableware and cooking utensils. The Room was very clean and comfortable. Dog supplies were also provided. However, it was disappointing that the pet diaper provided did not match the dog’s sex. The indoor silk-ion bath was great. There was also a jacuzzi, but due to seasonal insects we couldn’t use it. It was very comfortable overall, and we would like to stay again.

This is a well-sized Hotel with a tasteful blend of Japanese and Western styles. The space was clean and comfortable, and I slept very well. There were no items like lotion or cleansing oil at the sink in the changing area by the bath, but most guests probably bring their own, so it should be fine. If anything, I appreciated that the area around the sink was not dirty. It was also nice that I didn’t need to bring towels from my Room. The flooring in the Room was a bit tough for me because I’m sensitive to cold, but it does help keep things clean. At check-in there was a lot of information to go over, and I got a little spaced out partway through and missed responding once. After that, they explained things more concisely, and at the end they smiled and said, “Thank you for your time.” Thank you for the pleasant service.

This was my second stay this year, and I visited with my mother. My mother is nearing her 88th birthday, but she still has a great appetite and finished everything, even having seconds from the rice tub. I visited long ago with my mother and grandmother as well, so I feel truly happy to have an Accommodation we can return to across three generations—my grandmother, my mother, and me. Unfortunately it rained this time, but thanks to that the signature stones and garden trees were gently wet, letting us enjoy a different kind of beautiful scenery than usual. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. I look forward to visiting again.

I read the reviews and was looking forward to the food, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Instead of just a small portion in the middle of a large plate, each dish was beautifully presented and generously served, with every bite being absolutely delicious—100% satisfaction guaranteed! I wish restaurants in Tokyo would take note (laughs). The conversation with the owner was delightful, and their attentiveness and thoughtfulness were deeply appreciated. This is what true hospitality feels like. Thank you so much for everything. I look forward to visiting again!

Thank you for coming out to the car in the rain to help with our luggage. We were able to enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace in a calm atmosphere. I’m a light eater, so I’m very sorry for not finishing everything. When we visit Shiga again, we would love to stay at GUZU.

At check-in, there was only one staff member, so I wondered if something was going on and whether everything was okay, but we received warm and attentive hospitality. We enjoyed rare local dishes such as salted grilled coho salmon and soba bean sprouts (absolutely delicious), and also tried painting kokeshi dolls while listening to a live Tsugaru shamisen performance (a wonderful souvenir), which let us fully experience the spirit of Aomori. The Onsen was at just the right temperature (slightly hot), warmed us through, and relieved our fatigue. It was all-inclusive, and we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks as well. Thank you very much.

It’s very convenient to reach from the train station with a single bus ride. There is a local products shop nearby, but no convenience store, so it’s best to buy anything you may need in advance. The Accommodation staff were truly kind—checking on us during meals and assisting us carefully at check-out as well. The Room on the 3rd floor does not have a toilet and uses shared facilities, which means stepping out of the Room and changing into different slippers each time—so I felt it might have been better to make a Reservation for a 4th-floor Room with a private toilet. The Room was spotless, and even the washbasin bowl was polished perfectly. The building itself shows its age, but it’s clearly maintained with great care. Outside of cleaning hours, we could use the large public bath, the open-air bath, and two private baths as much as we liked—it was fantastic. The hot spring source is very hot and continuously flowing, so some of the private baths were too hot without adding water, but it was extremely relaxing; my skin also felt wonderfully moisturized afterward. It was also lovely to hear the sounds of the river and mountains from the Room. Dinner featured many river fish and mountain vegetable dishes, making for an excellent experience—nothing like meals that only look luxurious. Breakfast was also great: healthy food that gave me energy for the day. I recommend buying souvenirs at the nearby local products shop.

We stayed here as a stopover on our way from Osaka to Saitama. This was the final Hotel of our first trip with our 8-month-old daughter. We chose this Hotel so my husband—who drove a long distance—and our daughter, who still wakes up crying at night, could sleep in separate rooms, and it exceeded all expectations. We were completely satisfied! The maisonette-style Room was spacious, the tatami was wonderfully comfortable, and we relaxed while looking out over the tea fields and listening to the gentle sound of the stream. Our daughter also had fun crawling around and gazing out the window. On the second floor of the maisonette, there was a solid door—contrary to what I had imagined! I had assumed there wouldn’t be one, so it was a very pleasant surprise. After putting our child to sleep on the first floor, we were able to unwind upstairs for a while. At night, we could even see the stars from the landing on the second floor of our Room. We also informed them in advance that we would be traveling with an infant, and they kindly lent us everything—from bath items to baby food supplies—so it felt like all we needed to bring were changes of clothes and diapers. Most of all, we were happiest with the meals. The restaurant is set up so that each party has their own private room-like space, so you don’t end up sharing with other guests. Because it felt like it was just us there, we didn’t have to worry—we could stand up to soothe our child or let her crawl on the floor. At other restaurants, I can never truly relax because I’m always thinking “What if my child gets noisy...,” but that day I was able—for the first time since giving birth—to take my time enjoying carefully prepared delicious food. I wanted to share more than I can possibly write here—so I’m leaving this Review with heartfelt gratitude. Traveling with a baby often makes you wish: “If only there were two rooms...,” “If only there were an in-room bath...,” “If only meals could be served in-room or in a private dining space...” This Hotel felt like it had every one of those wishes built in. (I wrote this from a baby-travel perspective, but of course I think it’s also an amazing Hotel for adults as well!) Thank you very much.

We visited last year and had such a wonderful time that we came back again this year. Every breakfast and dinner was delicious, generous in portion, and completely satisfying. Swimming in the pool after dinner and after breakfast made us feel like kids again—so much fun. The Room was spotless and well maintained, which we really appreciated. Our dog also loved having the private dog run all to themselves. Above all, the owner’s warm personality and heartfelt hospitality are truly wonderful. It feels like visiting relatives. We’ll be back again.

We stayed at this Accommodation during our family trip to Hiroshima and Shimane over the Obon holidays. The Room had a wonderful Showa-retro atmosphere—nostalgic, calming, and very charming. Everything was thoroughly cleaned, and we were able to relax in great comfort. The bath was under renovation during our stay, but the staff kindly provided a Shuttle Service to a nearby Facility, so we were able to use it without any inconvenience. We truly appreciated their thoughtfulness. Above all, the meals were outstanding! Both dinner and breakfast were generous in portion size, and the Jinseki beef was absolutely superb. The fluffy rolled omelet at breakfast was also delicious—our whole family couldn’t stop saying how good it was. We were also told that there are salamanders in front of the Accommodation, so we went to take a look. One even came close as if it had come out to meet us, which delighted our entire family. It became one of our favorite memories from the trip. Thanks to the lovely Room, delicious food, and the warm hospitality of all the staff, we had a wonderful time together as a family. We would love to stay again when we travel to the Hiroshima area. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay.

At the start of summer vacation, we rented a car and stayed here with three generations of our family—seven in total (we welcomed one more member this January). When we previously visited as a couple, we loved the well-appointed Onsen, the varied meals, and the comfort of the barrier-free tatami flooring throughout the building. This time we wanted to bring our grandchildren too, and it was even better than expected. There were plenty of young staff members, and their service was truly pleasant. Our grandchild was curious about what the approach to the entrance was—and ended up absolutely delighted. At the dining venue, there were many families with small children as well, so everyone could relax without feeling overly self-conscious. We’re grateful for such thoughtful consideration by this Accommodation. Sharing our first “men’s morning bath” with our grandchildren in the private family bath became an unforgettable memory. The entire property was spotless and uncluttered, making it extremely comfortable. Thank you very much.

We stay with you every year for the Suntory Dream Match. Although our Room is assigned under a non-specified Plan, we request a Dome-side Room just in case. If you are not fully booked, we would appreciate a Dome-side Room next year. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay with no issues. Thank you very much.

I was able to enjoy another wonderful holiday. The balcony was even more beautifully maintained than last time, and I could relax while listening to the sound of the waves. It left me feeling refreshed and motivated to work hard again—and made me want to come back!

When we stayed here as a parent and child eight years ago, I hoped to stay again someday. This time, my daughter—now working—wanted to stay here with her two close friends for their trip to Universal. Hoping it would become a wonderful memory for the three of them, I requested a high-floor Room if possible. I was told it would depend on availability that day, but after check-in my daughter happily messaged me that they had been upgraded and given a high-floor Room. She also said the Room had double sinks in the bathroom, which was perfect for three women, and they were very satisfied. Even after coming back late from Universal, they were able to relax comfortably and said they would like to stay again. Everything felt clean and well maintained, so I rate it highly. There are many Hotels nearby, but this is one I would definitely recommend.

Because this Hotel is located directly above Shin-Osaka Station, it’s recommended for first-time visitors to Osaka. Both JR and the subway are just steps from the ticket gates. From Shin-Osaka, you can easily access all of Osaka’s major sightseeing spots. The Facility is compact yet well designed and easy to use, so you can enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
