Although I live in Kyoto City, I chose this Hotel because I wanted to enjoy an Onsen and a delicious breakfast close by without traveling far. The result was a truly wonderful stay that left me completely satisfied and thinking, “I definitely want to come back!” The cute yet elegant, almost overseas-like atmosphere lifted my spirits the moment I arrived. The door leading to the guest Room floors requires you to tap your Room key card, which felt secure and luxurious. I also enjoyed the organic drip coffee in my Room as a welcome drink, and it instantly made me feel relaxed and happy. As for the Onsen—what a treat! I enjoyed it three times: in the evening, before bed, and again in the morning. I was especially delighted by the complimentary beer service at the spa lounge available with bathing until 6:00 p.m. I drank about half in the lounge and took the rest back to my Room; enjoying it while watching Kyoto’s cityscape shift from dusk into neon-lit night through the window was simply perfect. What impressed me most during this stay was breakfast! When entering the venue, as soon as the receptionist greeted me cheerfully, all of the staff inside welcomed me with “Good morning,” which instantly made me feel excited. Even though I was dining alone, their thoughtful hospitality felt warm, and I remained comfortable throughout. Every dish—Japanese and Western—was truly delicious. From freshly made dashimaki tamago prepared by the chef to Kyoto-style obanzai side dishes and detox water, I enjoyed sampling many different items little by little. Their smart service—quietly clearing empty plates each time I stood up—was also very pleasant, and before I knew it, an hour had passed as I savored breakfast. This may have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've ever had. Since checkout is at 11:00 a.m., it was also a great memory being able to visit nearby Rokkakudo Temple after breakfast. This is truly a treasure of a Hotel—easy to reach by public transportation, with high-quality Onsen facilities and an outstanding breakfast that leaves you feeling refreshed. I'd love to recommend it to friends around me, and I'll definitely be back myself! Thank you for such a lovely time.

The private bath was especially amazing! The water quality and atmosphere were wonderful, and it was truly relaxing. Lately, many hotels have a lot of foreign staff, and sometimes subtle nuances don’t come across, but here all the staff are Japanese, so the service was very attentive and made us feel at ease. Highly recommended!

We stayed for two nights and had a truly wonderful time. All of the front desk staff were very kind, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Both the Room and the Facility were excellent, and our whole family was very satisfied! We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary trip—our first visit to Sanriku since the earthquake. We were excited, wondering what kind of Hotel it would be, and were surprised to learn that members of the Imperial Family have stayed here! There were rows of photos displayed in front of the elevators on the lobby floor. Wondering what our Room would be like, we entered the one assigned to us—and right in front of us was a panoramic view of Jodogahama! We couldn’t help saying to each other, “What a great Room!” After taking in the view, we headed straight to the large public bath. It also had an open-air bath, and we enjoyed a relaxing soak. Since we had time before dinner, we spent it singing karaoke—by then we were nicely hungry. Dinner was a luxurious buffet, featuring live kitchen stations for nigiri sushi and steak—our first time experiencing that. There were also many local dishes, and we ended up far beyond full. We had breakfast early at 6:30: a buffet seafood rice bowl where you can choose your favorite toppings. Although it was unfortunately raining outside, the sea view had an atmospheric beauty like an ink painting. It became a truly memorable anniversary trip. As we left the Hotel, we talked about wanting to come back again for another anniversary in a few years’ time. Finally, thank you so much to all the staff for your wonderful hospitality!

I was glad I could finally stay at the hotel I had always wanted to visit. Since there were three of us, we stayed in a family room, which was spacious and very relaxing. It was also easy to get to the Bikan Historical Quarter, and we really enjoyed it. The staff were courteous and helpful as well.

This was my second stay. My first visit left a great impression, so when planning this trip with friends visiting from Taiwan, I recommended it and included it in our itinerary. Everyone praised the courteous service, the Facility, and the delicious meals. Although everything was complimentary, we truly appreciated being served high-quality food and drinks.

This was my second stay. This time, I traveled with my elderly mother. They accommodated the Room request I had shared in advance, and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. It was a comfortable stay. I would like to stay again.

As someone who loves traveling and stays at many different Accommodations, I found this place exceptionally comfortable. The Room was spacious and airy, spotless, and thoroughly cleaned down to every corner. It was so relaxing that it truly helped me recover from travel fatigue. The Mirable shower in the bath was another great highlight—after bathing, I felt completely refreshed, as if all the day’s grime had been washed away. Having a washing machine in the Room—and even a single-use portion of detergent—was incredibly convenient. Using the bathroom’s washer-dryer function, my laundry dried properly, which was a huge help. I traveled with my dog, and we never felt cramped—there was plenty of openness. It also had a resort-like feel, and I loved being able to unwind with my dog. If you want to relax comfortably even while traveling, this is an Accommodation I highly recommend. It was such a wonderful stay that I’d love to return.

I have stayed with the Hotel Mets brand several times, but this was my first time in Omori. Thanks to your efforts to accommodate my Room assignment request as much as possible before check-in, I had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff also kindly supported me during the check-in process, so everything went smoothly without any major issues. The Room cleanliness and Facilities were what I have come to expect from Mets, and overall I was satisfied. In particular, I needed to use the internet in my Room for an online interview this time, and it worked without any problems. However, I felt the carpet design in the guest Room was a bit busy, and I would have preferred calmer colors and a simpler design. For foreign tourists like me, the Omori area feels a little far out, but since I was satisfied overall, I would consider staying here first if I have another chance to visit Tokyo.

I stayed here during a festival I’ve attended for the past four years. I truly love Alpina’s Onsen, and the pot bath is sometimes my favorite. This time, they prepared an excellent Room for me, and I was able to enjoy a comfortable and luxurious stay. I will definitely stay again.

The in-room hot spring bath was free-flowing and wonderfully relaxing. The meals were very satisfying, and the staff were excellent, making our stay truly enjoyable. A few minor points we noticed are as follows: - It was described as a twin room, but strictly speaking it wasn’t two beds; instead, mattresses were laid out on a raised tatami area, which was a bit confusing at first. - We arrived by car, but the location of the inn’s entrance and parking lot, as well as directions from the parking area, were somewhat hard to understand. - If possible, we would have appreciated an 11:00 checkout instead of 10:00. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. If we have the opportunity, we would definitely like to return. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family of four. Breakfast was very delicious, and the beef tongue in particular was excellent. The staff at the breakfast venue were also very friendly.

When I mentioned in advance that we would be staying to celebrate a birthday, they prepared balloons and a congratulatory message in our Room, which truly moved us. They also kindly offered complimentary use of the private bath, so we were able to enjoy a very relaxing bathing time. We were also happy to receive a dessert plate at dinner. For the children, there was a fireworks set, a cute amenities set, gifts for answering quiz questions, and festival-style activities such as target shooting and string-pulling games. There was also self-serve shaved ice where you could adjust the portion size yourself, which was great. At the pool, there were free self-serve rentals of float rings and water guns as well, so we had a lot of fun. There was so much to enjoy that our child was absolutely delighted. We chose the breakfast and dinner buffet options. At dinner there was a live kitchen with hand-rolled sushi and steak (I think), and everything was very delicious. The value for money felt unbelievably good. We went right when service started, so it was probably mostly Japanese guests at first and only moderately busy; however, it gradually became more crowded as more international guests arrived. I think going earlier is more comfortable. The sea bream and tuna sushi were outstanding, and there were also sashimi offerings separately—since we are a family that loves seafood, we really appreciated it. If I had to mention areas for improvement: There was dust under the beds in our Room. Our child playfully reached under the bed and came out covered in dust, which was disappointing. Also (though this may be unavoidable due to the layout), the pool is not connected directly to the large public bath area; you have to move through indoor corridors within the building. After using the pool you need to change clothes before heading to the public bath area, which felt inconvenient—especially for families with children who likely want to bathe after swimming. Because coin laundry is free (and perhaps due to seasonal demand), there can be long waits. A notice said that if someone’s laundry cycle has finished, other guests may move it into a basket—but guests who hadn’t read it seemed startled that someone had moved their items without permission. I understood because I saw the notice myself, but it still didn’t feel great; I wondered if there might be another solution. Since it’s summer and free of charge—and everyone wants to use it—it may simply be inevitable. Overall, we were very satisfied. The value for money was so good that it almost made me wonder if everything was really okay! Thank you very much!

I stayed here during Silver Week because the Hotel is new and very conveniently located. It’s truly about 30 seconds from the station, and it’s also just a short walk from the affiliated flat parking lot tucked away behind (600 yen for 24 hours from the time you park), which was extremely convenient. I had heard it was far to walk, but in reality I could reach Inuyama Castle Town in about a 20-minute walk from the Hotel. It was so crowded it felt like Kyoto’s Ninenzaka, and with shops lining the streets and plenty of street food to enjoy, I’m glad I chose a No Meals Included plan this time. The Room was new and spotless, and because the space is used so efficiently and functionally, it didn’t feel cramped at all. The bathroom facilities, including the LIXIL toilet, were stylish and comfortable. Since they use Simmons bedding, both the bed and pillow had a firmness that satisfied me even though I have lower back pain. The towels were fluffy with great absorbency, and even for someone like me with a larger build, the pajamas were comfortably sized. The large public bath had one ReFa hair dryer plus Panasonic Ionity units for the rest, which was decent enough. On the downside, perhaps because the indoor bath was over 42°C and too hot, the cooler open-air bath was packed. I also wished it were a real Onsen, and it was disappointing that there wasn’t complimentary mineral water service like most Hotels offer.

I treat myself by staying here once a month.\nAfter taking a bath and enjoying a lymphatic massage, my body feels deeply relaxed.\nI look forward to visiting again next month.

This was my first visit to Ise Grand Shrine, and I chose this inn because I truly wanted to attend an early-morning worship. I was able to stay in a special room, and the amenities and hair dryer were excellent. With complimentary drinks and alcohol available freely, it made for a very satisfying stay. There is also a private entrance exclusively for guests of the special room, so coming and going for the early-morning visit was very smooth, allowing me to have a truly moving experience at the shrine. My departure time in the morning suddenly became earlier than planned, but they quickly arranged a taxi for me, which was incredibly helpful. Thank you very much. When I visit Ise Grand Shrine again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you.

From the warm hospitality to the excellent service from all the staff, we had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed unexpected activities such as the table tennis service, and the ocean view from our Room was beautiful—making it a truly memorable day. The meals offered a great variety, and we were able to fully enjoy many of Toyama’s local specialties. The evening course dinner was carefully prepared dish by dish, and we were extremely satisfied. One thing we hope will improve further is the overall cleanliness and odor inside the building. We stayed in a non-smoking Room, but noticed a slight smell of cigarette smoke on the floor. Since it is such a lovely Ryokan, improving this point would make the stay even more comfortable. Other than that, everything was truly wonderful—this is a Ryokan we would like to give five stars. It’s a place we would love to visit again with our family. We would be even happier if these points have been improved by our next visit.

The Room was spotless and felt very comfortable. The large public bath is great—beautiful, and the cool body soap and shampoo felt wonderful on a hot, humid day. The showerhead is Mirable and the hair dryer is ReFa—amazing. Both were very pleasant to use. In the large public bath, there are cleansing oil, face wash, toner, and emulsion, so you can pack light. You can also borrow a hair iron. Breakfast was delicious!! I ended up getting seconds of rice. The pork miso soup? The miso soup was packed with ingredients and really tasty. I completely understand why it’s rated so highly. I also get why people say it’s a Hotel they don’t want to tell others about. The staff were kind, and the whole Hotel had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely come again!!! It was so much fun.

Three years ago, my wife and I stayed here and made wonderful memories, so this time we stayed with six people: my son-in-law’s parents (who live in Shanghai), my daughter and her husband, and my wife and me. Everyone was very happy with the stay.

The service was excellent, and the meals were delicious. One of Okawaso’s highlights—the shamisen performance—was very soothing, and there was also a comfortable place to sit and enjoy it at a relaxed pace, making it a wonderful memory. The staff were all welcoming with lovely smiles, and their guidance was clear and easy to follow.
