Our family of four stayed on the concierge floor, split between two Rooms. The location was extremely convenient, right above the station. The Rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with wonderful views, and we also felt at ease thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff. We also enjoyed the lounge services. I would recommend this Accommodation to friends and would love to stay again.

The attentive service truly lived up to its reputation as a “guesthouse.” The view from the main building’s open-air bath overlooking Lake Hibara was outstanding. The open-air bath exclusively for Nekoma Rikyu guests also had a calm atmosphere and was equally wonderful. There are many thoughtful services, including a shuttle bus you can board without a reservation, complimentary drinks in the lounge, a bar where you can enjoy darts and billiards, and the Lake Hibara View Room. The corridor leading to the open-air bath was dark and felt unsafe for my elderly mother’s footing, so I mentioned it at the front desk; the next day they turned on the lights from early in the evening. The staff were kind, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. I would definitely like to stay again.

My son treated me to a one-night trip at KUKUNA to celebrate my 60th birthday. I was already happy just traveling with the two of us, but when we entered the room, we were thrilled to see Mt. Fuji—hidden until then—right in front of us! The meals were excellent, and on top of that, we received a cake as a gift. They also took many photos for us with great care. I’m truly grateful to all the staff—thank you so much. The room and bath were spotless and beautiful. My son said he wants to come again, so I told him, “Bring me back again!” (laughs) It’s been a long time since I found a hotel that satisfied me this much.

The in-Room bath was great, and we also loved the four private baths available 24 hours a day with no Reservation required. The skincare lotion in the Room was Sekkisei, and for dinner we could choose rice or cheese. Even though we were full, the matsutake mushroom rice was so delicious that we finished it. In the evening, we were able to take the Shuttle Service bus to see the illuminated Yubatake. It was our first time in Kusatsu, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

This place came highly recommended by locals, so we chose it for the final stop of our trip. The room was amazing—one night wasn’t enough, and I’d love to stay again in the season when they light the fireplace-style stove. The wonderful service was truly soothing as well. I also caused some trouble at the front desk due to my own misunderstanding, but they handled it with great sincerity, and I’m deeply grateful. As for dining, after a long journey my stomach was a bit tired, and since we had lunch around 3:00 p.m. on the day of check-in, I was disappointed that we couldn’t fully enjoy the restaurant as I’d hoped. However, I learned that we could also use it as a bar, so we were able to relax with wine and snacks at our own pace. Needless to say, breakfast was delicious. I don’t like carrying lots of luggage, so I usually choose hotels with coin laundry—and this one has it too—so next time I’ll stay for multiple nights.

This was a return visit. It is an exceptionally comfortable Hotel where I can truly relax, as if I’ve come home. The location is also wonderful. The view of the Sumida River waterfront and Tokyo Skytree was something I had been looking forward to again since my last stay, but this time the top of the Skytree was hidden in the clouds due to a typhoon. Even so, it felt magical, and I was able to enjoy a rare view that was different from usual. The Room amenities and equipment are well provided, and I especially love being able to unwind in the spacious bathtub, as well as having my favorite Epsom salts available. This time I also visited the bar, and thanks to the attentive service from all staff members, I had a very pleasant time. Since I had an early departure the next morning, they prepared a breakfast box instead of the regular breakfast; it was delicious and very satisfying. Above all, what impressed me most was the front desk staff’s support. After checkout, they kindly guided me in detail even though I wasn’t familiar with the area, which helped everything go smoothly afterward. From check-in through farewell at departure, I am deeply grateful for everyone’s outstanding hospitality. This is a Hotel that makes me sincerely want to introduce this wonderful space and delicious breakfast to someone important. I will definitely return again next time.

This was our 50th stay at last. We always look forward to visiting—for the delicious meals, the warm smiles of the familiar staff, and the hot springs. Staying at Minakami Sanso helps us unwind from everyday fatigue. Thank you as always. We’re looking forward to our next reservation as well. Best regards.

This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied with this friendly Hotel. It is a wonderful Hotel where I would definitely like to stay again next time. I was happy with everything—service, the Room, the view, the atmosphere, and access—but above all, the breakfast was delicious across the board and left me completely full from the morning. They also helped arrange a surprise for my partner’s birthday, which truly moved us. We look forward to staying again next time.

They assigned us the convenient Room we had requested in advance, and we were able to enjoy a comfortable Multiple Night Stay. It was fun to have a different roller blind from last time! Shinsaibashi and Namba are within walking distance—not too close, not too far. After walking around all day, we could relax and soothe our tired bodies in the bathtub. We also appreciated having a separate bath and toilet. Thank you for the thoughtful care from the Hotel staff. Thank you again for all your help on this trip. We will stay here again when we visit Osaka!

This is my second stay. For this price and this amount of space in central Tokyo, I don’t think you’ll find anything else like it. The room is also very clean and well maintained, which makes the stay very comfortable. Since I’m staying over the weekend, I plan to wake up early and walk to see the National Diet Building. It’s a wonderfully quiet area with only police officers around—such a luxury. The next time I’m in Tokyo, I will definitely stay here again. I wish I had found this place sooner!!

We were able to spend a relaxing time in a wonderful Room. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. We only had breakfast, but the Japanese breakfast we chose after much deliberation was very delicious and made for a great start to the day. The location is also great, and we would like to stay again.

The bath was very relaxing, and breakfast service was smooth with a good selection.

I stayed here with my son while preparing for his school enrollment. As it was a weekday, it wasn’t crowded and we were able to relax. Check-in was done in person, so it was easy and reassuring. For check-out, you simply return the key card to the holder. Both the Room and the large public bath were very clean, and we were satisfied with breakfast as well. The price was so reasonable that I almost felt bad paying so little. I would like to stay here again.

I stayed here for sightseeing in Kanazawa. Although I took a bus from the station, it was a very convenient Hotel—Higashi Chaya District, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, and plenty of lunch and dinner options were all within walking distance.\nIt was my first stay, but my friend who stayed with me chose it right away after saying, “Nono is recommended.” The Room was easy to use, clean, and I was very satisfied. The large public bath was also very clean.\nI also enjoyed the late-night soba and was extremely satisfied. Next time I’d like to try the buffet. I will definitely stay again, and I would love to recommend it to other friends as well.\nThank you very much for your hospitality.

An auberge in Ise-Shima. Both the facilities and pricing are casual, but the dining is exceptionally satisfying. Accommodation and meals here are often expensive, but this place is a great value at around JPY 20,000 per person for one night with two meals. The restaurant has high ceilings and large glass windows, creating a bright, open atmosphere. At night the lighting is slightly subdued, making the ambience even better. As expected in Ise-Shima—known as “Miketsukuni,” the land of fine food—plenty of local ingredients are used. We thoroughly enjoyed abalone, Kumano beef, and spiny lobster and were very satisfied. The cuisine feels like creative fusion combining Japanese and Western styles. The presentation was as delicious to look at as it was to eat. In particular, the pairing of tender, fragrant eel with springy abalone—accented by sansho pepper—was outstanding and truly unique to Ise-Shima. Shima conger eel (hamo) and grilled eggplant with doburoku miso and ginger sauce Wild softshell turtle Japanese medicinal soup Local fish salad-style dish Abalone and eel grilled with sansho pepper; kinome miso and sansho olive oil Charcoal-grilled Mikumano beef with tomato-and-shiso condiment Corn rice; miso soup with spiny lobster broth Pistachio mousse and mango sorbet

About a 5-minute walk from Kamakura Station. Depending on whether you use the west or east exit, it was also very convenient to stop by a supermarket on the way. The Hotel entrance had a nice atmosphere, and check-in was done while seated in a chair, which was my first time. It felt great when I was tired. The front desk staff were smiling, and they also provided guidance for emergencies in case of earthquakes and other situations, which I found very thoughtful. The Room was just the right size, kept clean, and comfortable to stay in. I used the coin laundry, and being able to check the operating status and availability from my Room was extremely helpful. Also, since the Hotel wasn’t too large, going back and forth to the laundry area was easy. I didn’t use the large public bath so I can’t comment on it, but the website said you can move around in loungewear. Since I stayed only one night, it really helped that I could use the coin laundry with only minimal changes of clothes. However, the Wi-Fi connection was sometimes unstable, which was a bit disappointing. Overall though, it was a very comfortable stay. If I have another chance, I’d like to stay again—and if it’s similar elsewhere, I’d like to try one of their affiliated Hotels as well.

From the moment we arrived, the staff’s courteous service made us look forward to a wonderful stay. The Room felt open and airy, with lush greenery visible through large windows, and the layout was thoughtfully designed for ease of use. The very spacious semi-open-air bath was at just the right temperature, so we ended up soaking for a long time; perhaps thanks to the spring quality as well, we felt warmed through to our core. The meals used a wide variety of ingredients, were clearly explained, and offered delicious dishes with plenty of variety. Given our age, there was more than enough in both quantity and quality without ordering anything extra, and we were very satisfied. Because it is not a large Accommodation, getting around was easy and stress-free without any chance of getting lost, which we also appreciated. Even at departure they took great care in seeing us off—an Accommodation that left us with a pleasant afterglow. The total cost can vary widely depending on food and drinks (wine), but this time we felt it was an excellent value for money. We have one more favorite Accommodation in Hakone now.

I was captivated by the soothing scent of hinoki cypress when I arrived. After a bath, I relaxed and cooled down in the kura lounge. No matter when I went, it was beautifully tidy and very comfortable. The room was also close to the sea, and for the first time I fell asleep—and woke up—to the sound of the waves. The meals were wonderful too, with plenty of seasonal local ingredients. I truly had a relaxing stay, and I’d love to visit again in a different season.

I was very satisfied because the complimentary amenities suited my skin type. The staff were excellent, and since I had some time before check-in, I waited in the lobby and they kindly offered an early check-in. Their explanations were clear and very helpful. It was also very convenient to be able to check the coin laundry availability on the Room TV.

This was my first stay, and I stayed in a Room with an Onsen. The Room, attentive services, and hospitality were excellent. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast.\nHowever, I think the dinner could use some improvement. After all, dinner is one of the highlights of an Onsen Accommodation stay.
