This was my fourth visit to Ishigaki Island. Until now I had stayed at a Resort Hotel, but this time I happened to find this Hotel online and made a Reservation because the Reviews were so good. I wanted to spend my time without being tied to meal times, so I did not include meals. The Hotel is located at the 730 Intersection, so there are plenty of shops nearby, and there’s a yakiniku restaurant right next to the Room. There’s also a convenience store in the neighboring building, so it was completely hassle-free. And the best part was the free-flow drinks: the refrigerator was packed with alcohol and soft drinks, and even ice cream in the freezer. If you like drinks, it’s irresistible. The Room was spacious and very comfortable. Everything you might need was thoughtfully provided—perfectly described as “they’ve thought of everything”—and it made for a truly relaxing stay. We originally planned to stay 5 nights, but a typhoon was forecast to hit directly, so we had to return home after 3 nights. We Cancelled the Reservation for the remaining 2 nights, and they didn’t charge any Cancellation Fee and even refunded our accommodation cost—an incredibly considerate Hotel. It ended up being a hectic trip, but we were truly satisfied. We would love to stay here again next time. Additional note: The convenience store next door is open from 7:00 to 0:00. When it first opens in the morning, items like rice balls may not be fully stocked yet, so if you want breakfast there, I recommend preparing it the day before.

We visited with my daughter’s family—four generations in total. As soon as you enter, the ocean is right in front of you through the large glass windows. There was a big pool, and everything was set up for a BBQ. The kids never got bored—they ran around the living room and went up to the second floor, having a great time until it was time to leave. It’s a very clean Facility, and the location is perfect. We’re already saying we’d love to stay again. Please note that there are no seasonings or plastic wrap provided, so bring what you need. Also, the rice cooker was unusual—it’s the type where you add water to the outer pot, which was hard to figure out. I think it would be helpful to have written instructions. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

The entire property, inside and out, was very well cleaned. The Room was spotless. We were told the bed mattress had been upgraded, and it was extremely comfortable—I slept great. The Room also has high ceilings, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. The amenities were so plentiful we couldn’t use them all. The towels were great quality too. The small shelf next to the sink was especially helpful. Since we did laundry, having plenty of towels was perfect. There’s also a dryer—nothing to complain about. For cooking for yourself, everything you could need is provided! There were even items you don’t usually find at other Accommodations, so it felt like being at home. Thoughtful touches stood out as well, like a magnetic towel hanger. I’ve stayed in dozens of whole-house rentals, and the attention to detail in what’s provided here is outstanding. The outdoor pool was amazing too. Bugs didn’t bother us at all—in fact, it made us wonder if there are really this few bugs on Miyakojima. The location is excellent: close to downtown and also very convenient for Irabu Island, which we love. If I had to make a request: the body soap felt quite slippery and didn’t rinse off well, so it didn’t feel like I’d properly washed; and considering taking dishes poolside, it would be reassuring to have some unbreakable tableware as well. A full-length mirror would also be appreciated. Among the places I’ve stayed in Okinawa, this ranks right up there as one of the most comfortable (top one or two). We will definitely stay again!

We stayed here on a trip! The first thing that surprised us was how spotless the villa was and how beautiful the design is. The ceilings are high with a partially open atrium, letting in plenty of natural light. No matter where you stand in the living room, the interior design looks stunning—it really lifted our spirits! As sauna lovers, we honestly didn’t have very high expectations for an in-villa sauna, but it exceeded them. Although compact, it has enough seating for about six people, so we could relax comfortably with plenty of space. You can also set the temperature inside and enjoy it at your own pace—it felt amazing! Right outside the sauna is the pool, so we used the pool and jacuzzi as a cold plunge and fully refreshed. Enjoying fresh air while looking up at the sky and watching the pool’s surface in this private space—where you hear only birds and nature—was an incredible experience. We bought local craft beer at a supermarket just 2–3 minutes away by car, and that post-sauna drink was exceptional—honestly one of the best we’ve ever had! We enjoyed BBQ for dinner and slept soundly at night. We had such a fulfilling time just staying at the villa, but since we’re greedy travelers, we also stopped by nearby Shirahama Beach to play for a bit and visited some famous waterfalls before heading home. We were highly satisfied with everything—the villa’s design, Facility, and location!!

It was a full moon night, and it was very quiet—yet not lonely at all. I took a short walk in the evening, and the beautiful streetscape made my stay truly pleasant. I could even walk to the shrine I had wanted to visit, which made this one of my most wonderful trips to Kyoto. Thank you very much.

This was my third stay here. There is a supermarket nearby, so it was great to be able to cook for myself. My Room was on the 6th floor, so the view was amazing! I will make another Reservation.

We stayed at “Konpira Machiya Maru” with three adults and one dog (medium-sized). This is a fully renovated, entire-home rental Accommodation, and everything—from the building itself to the Facility, amenities, and supplies—exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable, and everyone said they slept soundly. The location is about a 1-minute walk from both JR Kotohira Station and Kotoden Kotohira Station, making it an ideal base for visiting Konpira Shrine. We traveled by car (HiAce Long), and the parking area is adjacent to the Accommodation with plenty of space even for a large vehicle. We only interacted with the staff at check-in, but they were polite and warmly welcoming without being intrusive. It was a wonderful Accommodation that I would confidently recommend to friends—and I will definitely be returning.

I made a Reservation for the same Room as last year. It felt like coming home (lol). The location is great too—there’s a 24-hour supermarket nearby, and Kokusai-dori is close. If you’re driving, parking might be a bit challenging. There is parking under the building, but it’s narrow, and even if you park there, you may worry about an inexperienced driver bumping into your car. I’d love to stay again. Set in a quiet forest, it was wonderful to be able to enjoy a truly out-of-the-ordinary stay. The café that also serves as the management office was incredibly stylish—absolutely amazing. Next time, I’d love to try the spinach curry at the café! When I mentioned we were going to Ueda Castle the next day, you shared lots of helpful information, and we were able to see the moat at Ueda High School as well. Thank you very much. We’ll be back. We did not use the bath.

We came to Okinawa for our honeymoon for 5 days and 4 nights. We had been looking forward to staying at Mukaka Villa. When we entered the Room, we could see the ocean and many trees through the glass doors, allowing us to feel the great nature. Every Room was clean and peaceful, allowing us to relax, drink alcohol with my husband, and spend time leisurely. Waking up early in the morning, sitting on the chair on the balcony, and drinking coffee, or just gazing outside was refreshing. We also visited the sea and cafes on Kouri Island, creating many wonderful memories. I would like to travel to Okinawa again. It was really great to spend time at such a lovely villa. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and everything about the room was wonderfully arranged, with the luxurious earthen floor space being particularly impressive. The small flowers arranged were cute, and the incense perfectly matched the ambiance. This time was a one-night stay, but I'm already looking forward to staying longer next time and taking it slow. I am filled with gratitude for the staff member who kindly explained everything. Thank you very much!

We stayed with three people. The charm of the traditional townhouse is very nice. Also, the tatami mat and the low table in the living room are great. You can stretch your legs and relax comfortably. My wife said it was the most relaxing property she had stayed at in recent years and the most comfortable. Unfortunately, it started raining in the evening, so we decided to avoid going out for dinner, but we were able to take out from Sanjo Shopping Street and enjoy it leisurely. Sanjo Shopping Street is nearby, and JR Nijo Station and Subway Nijojo-mae Station are not too far, so I think access to Gion and Kyoto Station is not a problem. The bath was also very nice. The bathtub is spacious, which was very good for our tired bodies. My daughter praised it highly, saying, "They have high-quality shampoo and lotion." It seems you can take a bath while looking at the garden, and I think it would have been great if we could have taken a leisurely bath during the day. There was an earthquake while I was bathing, which was a bit of a surprise. The bedroom on the second floor was also very spacious, and we were able to get plenty of sleep. The only disappointment was that I don't think there was a washlet in the toilet, but if there had been, it would have been a perfect score. Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a Kyoto townhouse. I definitely plan to stay again on my next trip to Kyoto. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Room was clean, the bathroom was spacious with a reheating function, creating an amazing space! The bedding was so comfortable that I wondered which mattress it was—it was truly excellent! Both the morning sunlight and the nighttime tranquility allowed me to feel nature deeply and provided great relaxation!

Because it’s a whole-house rental, you can truly relax without worrying about other people. Although the exterior is that of an old traditional house, it has been renovated in a way that preserves the atmosphere, and it was very comfortable. The Rooms are spacious as well. There are two Japanese-style Rooms and one bedroom, so even with three of us staying, we had more than enough space. There are also two toilets, so I don’t think it would be an issue even if the maximum of eight guests stayed. The bath is large too—big enough for four adults to soak in the tub at once. However, it takes about two hours to fill with hot water, and if you run hot water for more than an hour straight, the water heater may stop due to an error. So you need to turn off the tap once before an hour is up and then start it again—an extra step that’s a bit inconvenient. The water has a slightly sulfur-like smell and feels slippery, so drinking it or washing your hands with it can feel a little odd, but as bathwater it feels like a true Onsen experience and was amazing. (I wanted to soak again in the morning but gave up because there wasn’t enough time to fill the tub.) The kitchen is spacious and seemed well equipped with cooking tools, so we cooked our own dinner. However, the provided knife was extremely dull—it couldn’t even cut fish or a baguette... If you plan to cook, I recommend bringing your own knife. (Or I’d really appreciate it if a sharper knife could be provided.) Perhaps because they filled in what used to be an earthen-floor area? The counter height is very low. I’m about 155 cm tall, and kneeling while working felt like just the right height. It might be better suited for outdoor BBQs with light prep or meals that don’t require much cutting. There are bugs. Plenty of mosquito coils and insect spray are provided—do your best and fight them off. Watching the sky from the hammock before sunset, then enjoying handheld fireworks at night— even though we only stayed one night (two days), time felt slow and relaxing, like we’d spent much longer there. A lot depends on guests’ common sense when using the place, but overall this Accommodation offers quite a bit of freedom. This time we were on what you’d call a girls’ trip, and it was refreshing to discover there was such an option in this northern area of the prefecture. I highly recommend this whole-house traditional home not only for families or groups but also for smaller parties. I’d love to come back again if I have another chance.

Stayed for one night over the weekend. Reserved the heated pool and spent the entire stay enjoying it morning, noon, and night. In the evening, we had a BBQ, and in the morning, we cooked with locally sourced ingredients using bread purchased from a nearby bakery. The view of trees, pool, sea, blue sky through glass windows, and even the sound of Enoden trains created an extraordinary atmosphere that felt luxurious. The room was well-equipped with magazines, pool toys, a Switch console, dishes and glasses, cooking utensils, a jacuzzi—everything you could need—making time fly by. I would love to visit again!

It was a wonderful stay. The interior and appliances were stylish, but the view from the window was absolutely stunning. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and had lovely smiles. I will definitely visit again!

We stayed at the accommodation on the last day of Obon with my wife, two daughters, and our beloved dog. We have visited many luxury accommodations that allow pets before, but this one is by far the best! The beauty and elegance of the building, the completeness of amenities, cleanliness, and excellent location were all top-notch. The owner was kind and had set up a comfortable temperature throughout the accommodation even before we arrived. Above all, everything was impeccably clean. My wife, daughters, and even our dog were absolutely delighted!

We spent New Year's with our family while enjoying the snowy scenery. Although there was less snowfall, the children had a great time building snowmen and climbing the treehouse. The meals were delightful, thanks to the very kind guidance from the concierge beforehand. We purchased local ingredients from Hida Takayama at a supermarket along the way and enjoyed sukiyaki with Hida beef, cheese, butter, and other dairy products. The kitchen utensils and seasonings were well-stocked, so all we needed to do was buy ingredients. Highly recommended for those who love cooking! Despite it being a season when outdoor baths are usually unavailable due to low temperatures, one was kindly prepared for us. The caretaker also provided very friendly assistance throughout our stay. It was a memorable year-end getaway where we could enjoy quality family time in a snowy wonderland away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is an accommodation we would love to visit again—highly recommended! Thank you very much!

I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and services, which exceeded my expectations. We stayed as a group of six, and the space was more than sufficient. The interior had a log cabin style, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Being deep in the mountains, we could enjoy BBQ without worrying much about noise and had a stress-free stay. The owner kindly assisted us with shuttle service, starting the BBQ fire, taking group photos, and more, making us feel very welcomed. I would love to stay here again. Thank you so much!

We stayed here for a two-night trip to Sapporo. Since it’s an entire house rental with plenty of Rooms, it should work well even for trips with multiple groups. The Facility is new, and both the building and appliances were extremely clean. With a layout like a luxury vacation home, it also seems ideal for longer stays. And the sauna is outstanding. It’s equipped to the same level as a private commercial sauna, and we were very satisfied. There’s also a balcony for outdoor cooling and an open-air bath, with perfect flow between them. (Of course, it isn’t visible from outside.) It’s about 15 minutes by taxi from central Sapporo, so you can enjoy quiet nights. With Vacation Rentals, communication with the manager often takes time, but they replied quickly even when we emailed questions, which was very reassuring. The manager was extremely kind. I was more satisfied than at a luxury Hotel. (Notes) Because the sink is right in front of the sauna, the wash area gets hot while using it. For makeup and similar tasks, I recommend using another sink or waiting until after you turn off the sauna.
