We stayed with no meals included, and it was the perfect choice for us to enjoy quality time together without worrying about others. The highlight was being able to use the irori (traditional Japanese hearth). We brought meat and ingredients we picked up along the way and slowly grilled them over the charcoal fire of the irori. The aroma of the charcoal was delightful. We also made a hot pot, and it was convenient that all necessary cooking utensils were provided. Cooking together created enjoyable moments as well. Of course, the sauna was fantastic too. With ponchos provided, we could even enjoy an outdoor cool-down session in chilly weather. Although it's a traditional Japanese house, it has been tastefully renovated. The facilities like plumbing and air conditioning are well-maintained, making it clean and comfortable to stay in. The historical earthen floor area is charming as well—every corner is picture-perfect. We’re looking forward to visiting other accommodations by Ruuf that we haven’t been to yet! Conveniently located within walking distance of Takayama Station and the historic streetscape. The moment we stepped inside, we couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow!”—it was truly wonderful. The first-floor area features a large dining table, sofas, and a big-screen TV, and it’s a lovely touch that the spacious kitchen is hidden behind shoji screens. Room partitions are done with shoji screens, and there’s a raised tatami room. The garden can be seen through large windows. There’s also an indoor bedroom reached via a gravel path—an inviting Japanese-style space where you can truly relax. The second-floor bedroom is also spacious, with an adjoining tatami area and even a bench sofa—enough space for one family to unwind comfortably on the second floor alone. There are two sinks as well, and the amenities were great. The bathroom is spacious too, and the shower is very modern and exciting to use. There was also a bathtub ^^ With both a washing machine and a sauna, it was a fantastic Accommodation stay where we could really take our time and enjoy ourselves. It can accommodate an even larger group together, so we’d love to come back again next time.

This spacious maisonette-style accommodation is comfortable even for four adults. Mornings are especially memorable—enjoying coffee on the terrace while listening to the sound of the waves. The beach is within walking distance, and taking the picnic set provided in the cabin made our time by the sea even better. It was a relaxing stay that let us forget the hustle and bustle of city life.

This was our second stay with a friend’s family. Once again, we were completely satisfied. From the welcome drinks, you were also very considerate of the children. You even prepared the rice cooker we had talked about last year, so we were able to enjoy rice with whitebait in the morning. We look forward to staying again next summer for our third visit.

After arriving at the Accommodation, we borrowed an electric scooter and took a stroll along the seaside. Back in the Room, we worked up a sweat in the wood-burning stove sauna and felt refreshed, then enjoyed ice cream in the lounge while playing Pac-Man (lol). For dinner, we savored dishes featuring superb live squid and Saga beef with Tiger Beer, then went to sleep in a spacious bed while gazing out at the sea. Breakfast was also excellent—the rice was sweet and delicious, paired with local specialties like mirin-dried fish and squid shumai that you can only find here. After that, we took a cruise ship around Kabeshima Island. In the calm summer Genkai Sea, on the far side of Kabeshima we saw columnar joints like natural stone walls, listened to stories about islands near and far, and felt the wind as the boat sped along. We truly enjoyed an exceptionally special time. There are still so many great points I can’t even write them all—this all-inclusive Plan is simply amazing. On our way back they drove us to Karatsu-Nishi Station, making it easy to get to Hakata as well; it’s surprisingly accessible even without a car. This is an Accommodation I’ll keep remembering fondly long after returning home.

My children really enjoyed it. We wanted to choose the outdoor BBQ Plan, but it was too cold so we decided not to. We’d like to stay again during summer vacation. Also, we forgot our child’s backpack and asked you to send it cash on delivery, but you sent it prepaid. It’s rare to find service like this, so we were very satisfied.

From the moment we arrived, this was a special entire-home rental Hotel that felt less like “staying overnight” and more like truly inhabiting the space. The view of Oku-Kawaguchiko through the large windows changed throughout the day: in the evening, a quiet lake surface with shadows of trees; at night, forest air with almost no sound; and in the morning, soft light streaming onto a misty lake. It was the kind of place where you just want to keep watching the scenery. The interior felt luxurious yet calming, with thoughtful details in everything from lighting and furniture to sound. It naturally made us want to slow down—cooking with a beer in hand, enjoying fresh air on the terrace after the sauna—and even while spending time together, there was an unhurried sense of space. What stood out most was the morning kayaking experience. Paddling out onto a quiet Lake Kawaguchi before many people were around felt incredible. The water was as calm as a mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains and forest. It felt less like sightseeing and more like we were floating alone in nature—easily my most memorable moment of this stay. The Facility side was also very comfortable: with well-stocked kitchenware and amenities, we could enjoy high-quality time without much preparation. This isn’t just an Accommodation for sleeping—it’s a place where the experience itself changes depending on the season and how you spend your time. Next time I’d love to do a Multiple Night Stay and soak up this atmosphere even more slowly.

We stayed with four adults and were able to relax comfortably. Outside the window, we could see trees and the waterfront, surrounded by nature. The Room facilities and location were excellent, and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. There are no dining options on-site, so we ate freely at our favorite restaurants, but for breakfast we bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked for ourselves. If I had to mention one drawback, there was a persistent cigarette smell—perhaps because outside air is brought in—which was unpleasant; otherwise it felt perfect.

This Ryokan has an outstanding Japanese atmosphere. The view of Nishi Honganji from the Room is amazing. I would love to stay again.

Highly recommended for sauna lovers! The private sauna was available anytime, so we could enjoy it as often as we liked and then relax outdoors while taking in the lush green views. The open-air bath was also spacious, and the scenery was soothing—an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a leisurely meal. They also kindly accommodated my friend’s birthday at dessert time, which made my friend very happy. All of the staff were friendly, and we had a very comfortable stay. It’s a place that makes you want to come back. It would be lovely during cherry blossom season, or in autumn when you can enjoy chestnuts as well. We’d love to visit again. Away from the bustle of everyday life, I was able to spend a truly relaxing time. My stay at “Kasumi-san” was pure bliss. Every corner of the Accommodation had a refined, calming atmosphere, and I could feel IFOO’s attention to detail throughout—from the design to the architecture. In the quietly flowing time, I was able to savor this rich space at a leisurely pace. The chicken rice breakfast made with chicken broth simmered for four hours was also exceptional. This is the best Accommodation imaginable. I will definitely return.

Just steps away from Yunotsubo Kaido, yet offering a serene view of rice fields and Mount Yufu in the back, this accommodation provides a truly relaxing experience. The private onsen in the room is accessible anytime, ensuring a quiet and uninterrupted stay. Equipped with essentials like a microwave, plates, bottle opener, and chopsticks, everything you need is readily available. Considering the location and having an onsen in the room at Yufuin, this accommodation offers exceptional value.

I stayed with my brother's family. The Room had two bedrooms and one tatami room, and one of the tatami rooms and bedrooms was a connecting room separated by a door, so we could watch over the children sleeping alone with peace of mind. Additionally, there was a jacuzzi on the terrace, and although we used it on the coldest day in December, the children were having a great time with maximum excitement (laughs). The living room on the second floor was spacious, and even with eight people, it didn't feel cramped, allowing us to have an enjoyable time. Also, it was convenient to have bathrooms and toilets on both the first and second floors. Personally, the most helpful feature was having a washing machine and dryer. The gas dryer, in particular, was very convenient as it allowed us to quickly take care of the children's clothes without taking much time. Basic appliances were provided, but since there were no pajamas, it might be a good idea to bring your own (as indicated on the site). The surroundings were quite empty, and although it was along the road, we were able to spend our time relatively quietly, allowing the adults to relax while the children had a great time playing on the terrace and in the spacious living room. My brother's family also expressed their gratitude, so I was glad we stayed. Since it can accommodate a large group, I would like to use it again if the opportunity arises.

The Room was also functional and comfortable, and I was impressed by how thoroughly the spacious Room was cleaned down to every detail. It’s very convenient—just a 1-minute walk from the station. The staff were all lovely and kind, making this a highly satisfying stay. Next time, sightseeing in Yufuin will be just a bonus—I’d love to return with my stay at GEMS YUFUIN as the main purpose!

We chose this Accommodation for our first stay after our baby was born. Since our baby is not yet three months old, we were concerned about crying, so we stayed in a private rental-style Accommodation. It was almost too spacious for just the two of us. We were able to relax without worrying about those around us. We also enjoyed playing table tennis for the first time in a while, and the meal portions were so generous we couldn’t finish everything. Everything was very delicious. Dinner required some cooking, which felt a bit challenging with a small child, but it was great that there were no time restrictions and we could eat whenever we wanted. There was also a sauna. The staff kindly brought welcome drinks and breakfast to our Room out of consideration for us. You can tell they are very particular about their food—it was excellent. Above all, the staff were wonderful, showing great care throughout our stay and even seeing us off until our car disappeared from view when we left. It was a lovely stay experience, and next time we’d like to come back with a larger group.

We stayed for one night with friends and family. The manager’s mother was very kind when we picked up the key, which made us feel at ease. They even prepared a welcome board with portraits of our dogs—it looked just like them, so cute, and it made us really happy. The garden is very spacious; as soon as we arrived, the dogs ran around, lay down on the beautiful lawn, and played happily. The house was also clean and roomy, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen for a BBQ. The dog-only bathroom and amenities were excellent—overall, the service was outstanding. We were able to spend a relaxing and luxurious time in the breezy living room and garden. We would love to stay again—thank you very much.

We stayed with a family of four and one dog. The Facility was amazing—everything was so well equipped. We had a great time in the full-scale karaoke Room. The sauna Room, large bath, and cold plunge tub were all excellent. The hair dryer and shower head were ReFa. The spacious living room has a projector, so you can enjoy streaming on a big screen or play games like Nintendo Switch. The kitchen is also large and had plenty of dishes, seasonings, and just about everything we needed. There are three toilets, all very modern. For sleeping arrangements, there are two twin-bed Rooms on the first floor, plus one bed in the third-floor loft along with futon sets for larger groups. From the loft you can step out onto the terrace, which also serves as a dog run— we could play with our dog while sitting in chairs and enjoying a beautiful ocean view. There is also a Room for pets. There is another dog run on the first-floor terrace as well. A washing machine and dryer are available too. Near the parking area there was a vending machine Room with various items such as frozen takoyaki and yakitori. The parking area is spacious. The roads are narrow because houses are close together, but even an Alphard could pass through without any issues. The building’s tile exterior was very beautiful as well. Although homes are close together, the neighborhood was quiet and comfortable to stay in. The karaoke Room is soundproofed; we went outside to check just in case, and it was fine. There isn’t a supermarket nearby, so we stopped at one called Picasso on the way to buy groceries—alcohol is available too. We had so much fun that it felt like 10:00 checkout came in no time at all. We had an amazing time overall. Next time we’d love to come back around summer and enjoy a barbecue too! Thank you very much!

Our family of three, including our second-grade daughter, stayed here after a day at the beach. We really appreciated being able to use the washing machine and drying area. There’s a convenience store nearby, and Sunset Beach is just a short walk away—it was truly beautiful and moving. Kamo Aquarium is also close by, and it’s about a 40-minute drive to Dewa Sanzan, making the location very convenient. We were very satisfied with the meals as well, and would love to stay again.
